The US wave 5, the delta wave, is ending. The daily new
cases chart is shown above. Daily cases peak at 197K on Friday, 8/27/21, almost
hitting 200K per day, and are down for 31 days yesterday (Monday) reporting
81.4K cases a beautiful sub 100K day on a week day.
The 7-day MA trend line for daily new cases is at 114K and
dropping and the 3-day MA is down to 90K cases printing another lower low. It
is all good. Since US daily cases continue rolling over for a month, the active
cases, hospitalizations and deaths will trail-off going forward.
The college (American) football games are not superspreader
events as feared. The pundits warned of doom and gloom seeing the large
gatherings at stadiums and concerts but one-month into the college football season,
after millions of young people have attended games, the US wave 5 is ending.
The US active cases chart is shown above. This is the
‘flatten the curve’ chart that rolls over to form the bell shape and verify
that the virus is being defeated. The Keystone Model, explained below,
identifies the peak in daily cases as 9/3/21 since the cases are within 8% of
the peak high on 8/27/21. Adding 28 days, the US active cases chart should peak
and roll over by 10/1/21 or sooner; now.
The active cases hit 9.9 million on Sunday, 9/26/21, and
yesterday is 9.84 million cases so perhaps the active cases top is 9/26/21. If
not, the top should occur any day.
The happy blue dashed-line scenario in the US active cases
chart is the expected path ahead with the active cases peaking now and forming
the coveted bell shape in the days ahead. Healthcare workers need to hang in
there since the caseloads should dramatically fall off going forward. The television
doom and gloomer’s will not know what to do with themselves. Watch for the bell
shape to form that will ring in happiness throughout America’s tattered
coronavirus landscape.
The US deaths chart is shown above and it is finally rolling
over and on the mend. The Biden administration is incompetent in not supplying adequate
monoclonal antibody (mAb) treatments to the states. Americans are dying
needlessly. The Whitehouse touts vaccinations as the only treatment available ignoring
other proven treatments and therapies.
Regeneron, Eli Lilly and other pharmaceutical companies say
there is plenty of supply of mAb and any amount can be provided through the end
of the year. The Whitehouse is lying when they say the supply of monoclonal
antibody treatments is limited. The boobs are using the supply excuse to hide
their incompetence while maintaining an allegiance to vaccinations only.
Humorously, Biden must own stock in PFE (Pfizer), BNTX (BioNTech) and MRNA
(Moderna).
689 Americans die yesterday, 9/27/21. The 7-day MA for US
deaths is at 1,649 deaths per day and dropping. The 3-day MA is at 926 deaths
per day printing two lower lows and a lower high which maintains the downtrend
in the deaths going forward. The drop-off in daily new cases over the last
month finally ripples into deaths rolling over.
The US is at 709K deaths from China Flu. Johns-Hopkins is at690K deaths. The CDC is at 687K deaths. All data sets show US deaths exceeding
the 675K dead from the Spanish Flu 100 years ago. The Worldometer deaths are over
709K about to bust up through 710K.
The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) is at685K deaths predicting 800K dead Americans as December begins under a
worse-case scenario. Each week for the last 3 weeks, the IHME keeps lowering
its death projections. If deaths did accelerate higher in the US, where do the
bodies come from since most of the elderly and obese folks are already killed
off by the Wuhan Virus or are vaccinated?
In the April-May period of this year, when vaccines were
distributed to every US state, the US deaths were at 600K. As the month draws
to a close and October begins on Friday, five solid months into vaccines being
readily available to any American, the total covid deaths are at 709K.
Some of the 109K Americans that died over the last 5 months
did not have to if they were vaccinated. At the same time, some of citizens did
not have to die if they were given monoclonal antibody treatments or other proven
treatments, therapies and protocols.
The CDC COVID Data Tracker shows US COVID-19hospitalizations rolling over nicely off the top on 9/3/21 at just under 94K
hospitalizations. US hospitalizations are dropping for 3-1/2 weeks but you
would not know it with the media’s daily anecdotal doom and gloom stories.
The CDC hospital admissions charts are rolling over andacross all age groups. Remember, the concern was for the young children and
college students physically returning to schools and universities since the
hospital numbers for these age groups were climbing disproportionately. This is
correcting itself in the charts just as the wild spike higher in admissions and
hospitalizations returned to earth for the elderly early on in the pandemic.
The hospital admissions for the 0 to 17 year old age group
peaked 9/1/21 through 9/7/21 and is now down for 3 weeks running. The
back-to-school infections may have run their course. The football games,
concerts and large gatherings do not create superspreader events. America is
looking good with confirmations on the daily cases, hospital admissions,
hospitalizations and deaths all heading lower. The pesky active cases chart
shown above is the last piece of the puzzle.
The admissions peaked on 8/26/21 so for future modeling
purposes, the peak in hospitalizations (9/3/21) occurs 8 days after the peak in
hospital admissions. Individual age groups may span only 4 days so a good
estimate to use is that hospitalizations typically peak 4 to 8 days after
admissions peak.
Texas’s active cases chart is shown above. The daily new
cases peaked on 9/7/21 about 3 weeks ago. The active cases chart peaks 9/16/21
only 9 days after the peak in daily cases. Texas is on the mend ringing-in
better times ahead with the bell shape.
Ditto Florida. Its active cases chart is shown above also
forming the bell shape so the sun will be shining again each day forward in the
Sunshine State. Florida’s daily new cases peak on 8/27/21 and the active cases
chart above peaks on 9/17/21 so that period peak to peak for the delta wave is
21 days.
Tennessee’s active cases chart is shown above and it happily
flattens and rolls over to the downside forming the bell shape proving that the
virus is on the run. Neighboring Kentucky and West Virginia, however, continue
struggling at handling the pandemic.
Idaho’s daily new cases chart is shown above perhaps the
worst state in the US currently. The hospital managers and corporations are
caught with their pants down, exposed for their inept planning, overrun with
patients. Neighboring Washington state is handling a lot of Idaho’s COVID-19
patients.
On the positive side, the chart shows the potential inverted
V-shape forming that would usher in better times for Idaho. Daily cases peak on
9/21/21 at 1.8K per day so the numbers are off the top for one week. Idaho’s 7-day MA trend line is flattening
another positive sign since it has to flatten before it rolls over and drops.
Montana is on the same course as Idaho.
The Philippines active cases chart is shown above and it
displays the bell shape and better times ahead as long as the Filipino’s keep
doing what they are doing. The terrible delta wave that rippled through India
and then the entire Southeast Asia region is finally in the rearview mirror.
Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia and
Indonesia are recovering from coronavirus and planning to reopen to foreign
travelers. For a country such as Thailand, tourism is its life blood. Rich,
single, silver-haired white Americans anxiously make plans for an erotic trip
to Bangkok.
Japan’s active cases chart is shown above dropping like a
rock. Japan is clearly on the mend with conditions improving dramatically
daily. It is a shame the peak of the COVID-19 trouble occurred during the
Olympics and Paralympics but Japan pulled both events off safely.
Ukraine’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Ukraine is
in a fifth wave with infections increasing the most since April. Russia is in
bad shape logging the deadliest days of the pandemic. Russia’s deaths chart is
shown above. The Ruskies are eating borscht waiting to die.
Israel’s active cases chart is shown above. The active cases
drop off nicely forming the coveted bell shape and proving that Israel has
regained control over the pandemic.
On the US vaccination front, 184 million Americans are fullyvaccinated which is 55.4% of the population. 214 million Americans, 64.4%, are
vaccinated with at least one dose, a solid two-thirds of the country.
199 million Americans that are over 18 years old, 77%, are
vaccinated with at least one shot. Remember, this was Biden’s 70% goal for July
4th that he missed. It is now 7 percentage points above that goal. Herd
immunity is in play since one-third of the country may have already had
COVID-19 and have natural antibody protection.
The US vaccination rate is dropping off since 8/27/21 onemonth ago. This is not good for President Biden’s one-track vaccination mind.
The 7-day MA trend line for US vaccinations is in the 500K to 600K shots per
day range and dropping. Keep in mind that many of these shots are now third
shots for the immunocompromised and booster shots for those over 65 or dealing
with at-risk situations.
The unvaccinated are watching the vaccinated get stuck like
pincushions every few months. Some Americans have three batches of serum
floating through their bodies while others have none. The split between the
unvaccinated and vaccinated grows wider each day with the vaccinated zealots
the aggressors.
New York plans to can nurses, cops and teachers in the name
of doing what is good for the state. Huh? The republican-controlled media (Fox
News, Newsmax, OAN, Breitbart, AM talk radio, New York Post, etc..) and Trump
supporters are having a field day commenting on newly-installed New York
Governor Kathy Hochul’s claim that God “made the scientists, the doctors, the
researchers …. come up with a vaccine.”
Hochul proudly waves her vaccination status in the air while
proclaiming that the unvaccinated “are not listening to God and what God
wants.” She says they must take the shot and proclaim, “Thank you, God. Thank
you.” Hochul calls the vaccinated audience "the smart ones." She strays further from the reservation decreeing, “I need you to
be my apostles.” Paraphrasing Charlie Daniels, we all know that Jesus walked onwater, but it appears that Hokul wants to do a little walking, too.
If you are a New Yorker, kneel to power, praise God, and
praise your government masters as you receive your mandated shots in a non-free
land. Hochul is a democrat so she is part of the liberal tribe and media (CNN,
MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, PBS, New York Times, Washington Post, etc…) led by
President Biden. Hochul is on the tube this morning decreeing that “vaccine mandates
work.” She may be able to convince some men to get the vaccine if she wore a
dominatrix outfit as she spouts orders.
Riots increase in Australia as the government tries to
control the people forcing vaccinations. New South Wales (southeast Australia)
Deputy Premier Barilaro is on a power trip proclaiming, “You will not achieve
any further freedom if you do not get vaccinated.” He says people will lose
their freedoms in 2 weeks unless they get vaccinated. Isn’t hearing this enough
to make you vomit? Australia declares you a dirty unwashed leper if you do not
get vaccinated and you will be denied freedom. The good times Down Under are
over.
COVID-19 attacks and kills the obese preferentially. About
80% of the cases are fat folks including overweight kids. Decades ago in
Keystone’s youth, we would call them chubby kids. Parents, the greatest gift
you can give your chubby kid is to set them on a path of developing good eating
habits.
For vaccinations, remember the 3 key tests anyone can use to
assess if it is a good idea to get vaccinated; the Mailbox Test, the BMI (Body Mass Index) Test
and the Fluffy Test. If you walk out to get the mail from the mailbox and are
out of breath when you are back at the front door, call your doctor to discuss
getting a vaccination. COVID-19 is a respiratory pathogen so it attacks the
nasal passages and lungs and overweight folks are already placing a daily
strain on their heart and lungs.
The BMI Test uses your weight, height and body frame to
calculate your normal weight as well as over and underweight and obesity. A
call to doc to discuss the coronavirus vaccination is in order if your BMI is
over 25. The BMI 25 threshold is also one of the criteria for receiving
monoclonal antibody treatments.
The Fluffy Test is based on Gabriel Iglesias’s stand-up comedyroutine. He discusses the five levels of fatness; big, healthy, husky, fluffy
and damn! Gabe has since added a sixth called, “Oh, Hell, No.” If you are any
of the six levels of fatness, call your doctor to discuss a vaccination.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 43.9 million. India is next with 33.7 million total virus cases.
Brazil, UK, Russia, Turkey, France, Iran, Argentina, and Colombia round out the
top ten. Turkey overtakes France over the last week.
COVID-19 has infected 233 million people worldwide. 4.8
million people are dead from COVID-19. 210 million global citizens have
recovered from coronavirus. 90% (210/233) of the people that become infected
with COVID-19 recover in a reasonable time frame. This percentage has been at
90% to 92% for many months. About 10% of the people that contract coronavirus
have lingering health effects such as long-covid or die.
Worldwide, 2.1% (4.8/233) of the people that are infected
with covid die. This number has sat at 2.1%-2.2% for many months. 1 in every 49
people that are infected with China Flu around the world will die.
3.0% (233/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 33 people on earth. The Wuhan
Virus has negatively impacted everyone on the planet. 0.06% of the world’s
population (4.8/7670) die from the pandemic; 1 in every 1,600 people.
In the United States, 43.9 million people are infected with covid.
709K Americans are dead. 33.4 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus.
This equates to 76% (33.4/43.9) of US citizens recovering after becoming
infected with COVID-19. The recovery percentage has been between 76% and 84% over
the last few months. America’s rampant obesity problem has greatly added to
deaths and hospitalizations.
In the US, 1.6% (709/43900) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. This number is sticky at 1.6% to 1.8% for many months. 1 in every 62 US
citizens that are infected with coronavirus die. 0.21% (709/330000) of
Americans have died from COVID-19 which is 1 in every 465 Americans; call it 1
in every 500 Americans have died from China Virus.
There is lots of discussions about children nowadays. As per
the CDC, for the 0 to 4 year old age group, only 120 total children have died.
For the 5 to 18 year old age group, 374 children and teens have died. Thus,
494, not even 500 as yet, children under 18 years old have died from COVID-19.
Deaths are simply not an issue for the young. Keep this in mind when you hear
the wild mask and vaccine mandate discussions.
The death rate is at 2.1% globally which is higher than the
US at 1.8% reflecting the lower vaccination rates, less medical equipment such
as ventilators and oxygen tanks, less hospitals, and less medical folks to work
at the facilities. Poorer nations also battle subpar environmental and living conditions.
13.3% (43.9/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid. 1 in every 8 Americans have been stricken
with coronavirus. The minority communities are impacted disproportionately. The
13% solidly contributes towards herd immunity (the number is likely far larger
by the CDC’s own admission) by providing natural antibody protection.
The United States has 18.8% (43.9/233.0) of the COVID-19
cases in the world. 1 in 5 people (5.3 to be exact which is 2 in 11) that
become infected with covid on planet earth are Americans. The US vaccination
program is making a difference. This percentage was 22% about 6 months ago so
the drop is great news for the US but bad news for other nations since their
infection numbers are higher.
The US accounts for 14.8% (709/4800) of the China Flu deaths
in the world. 1 in 7 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are Americans.
6 months ago, it was 1 in 5. The numbers are going in the right direction for
the US but the improvement is stalling.
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart curves will flatten-out and roll-over lower. The active cases chart
is the ‘flatten the curve’ chart that represents the maximum stress and strain on
the medical system and healthcare workers. Once the active cases chart rolls
over forming the bell shape, the virus is being defeated and healthcare workers
can breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the daily new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For communist nations where
the populations must do what they are told or they receive a bullet in their
heads (China), and for smaller authoritarian nations (Eastern European
countries, Africa and Middle East nations), and many Asian nations where
citizens follow government rules without questioning authority (South Korea,
Japan, Singapore, Australia), the active cases curve will peak, on average, 11
days after the peak in daily new cases.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases (it takes about 2 weeks longer,
for a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or authoritarian
state mainly because lockdowns cannot be enforced as easily).
During the last few months, the 11 and 28-day timeframes
compress slightly since more is known about handling coronavirus. Thus, a
couple days can be shaved off the current target dates. Further, the Delta wave
is playing out as a fast-moving inverted V pattern and may finish faster than
the allotted days in the model.
All projections below for countries and the US states
continue to use the 11 and 28-day periods for forecasting for consistency. When
the peak in daily new cases occurs, if a subsequent day is within 8% of that
peak top, it is identified as the peak in daily new cases day.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily seen on the bar
charts provided by Worldometer, the CDC and Johns-Hopkins. The daily new cases
bar charts are shown on television news channels with a 7-day moving average
(MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that identifies the trend.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes and more data and information become available to push the
COVID-19 story forward. The Coronavirus Chronology identifies the real-time

Worldometer, Johns-Hopkins and CDC data track each other well with the
Worldometer data ahead of the Johns-Hopkins and CDC data by a few days. The
Worldometer data is far superior for forecasting since it is updated more
reliably in real-time.
The countries with rising active cases charts are
highlighted below with the worst nations at the bottom. The United States
remains on the bad list until its active cases curve rolls over (which should
be any day). The peaks in daily new cases are shown and the projected peaks for
active cases are based on the Keystone Model. The peak and flattening of the
active cases curves are extremely important since it represents the maximum
stress on healthcare workers and the medical system.
It will take longer for the active cases charts to roll over
to form the bell shape for those troubled nations at the bottom of the list
(they are still experiencing highs and peaks in their daily new cases).
Hospitalizations lag the daily cases by a week or two and deaths lag
hospitalizations by a week or two.

South Korea went to covid H*ll in a hand basket. Oh my. South Korea’s daily and active cases charts are running higher setting records for the pandemic. South Korea was heralded around the world last year as one of the few great countries at handling the pandemic. This year the nation is in shambles. South Korea is added to the bad list.
Germany, Philippines, Canada, Croatia and Moldova were taken
off the bad list above since their active cases curves are rolling over lower.
Slovakia was added to the bad list. Brazil and Turkey look shaky but are not
added to the bad list as yet. Mexico is also recovering but remains on shaky
ground. The UK continues to struggle at reducing its daily cases as the country
is dealing with a major fuel shortage.
Eastern Europe and western Asia is the new global hotspot
including Russia, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine,
Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia. Note that Russia is the country that infected
those nations with the coronavirus spreading from east to west. Russia, and its
buffer nations that protects its western border from the West, are all sick.
This hotzone aside, the world is in great shape and getting better daily.
The next list shows the US states struggling with
coronavirus with the worst states listed at the bottom. The peak in daily new
cases and projections for the peaks in active cases are provided as per the
Keystone Model. The flattening and roll over of the active cases curve forming
the bell shape indicates the virus is being defeated and the caseload on
healthcare workers will quickly improve.

15 states are taken off the bad list over the last 10 days. 3 weeks ago, all 50 states were on the bad list above. In other words, the active cases charts in all 50 states were sloping higher. The US wave 5, the Delta variant wave, which is the India B1617 variant, wreaks havoc, but 3 states fell off the bad list 10 days ago and now another 15 for a total of 18 over the last 3 weeks.
The bad list is now down to 32 states. That’s better than
the 50 states three weeks ago. America is on the mend. As seen by some of the
notations above, the active cases charts will roll over for several more states
in the days ahead which would signal that about one-half of the states are
recovering. Keep in mind for most states above the daily new cases have already
rolled over and now it is only a matter of a few more days or week or so for
all states to capitulate and show their active cases curve flatten and then
drop.
The 15 states that show their active cases charts flatten
and roll over during the last week are New Mexico, South Dakota, Florida,
Wyoming, Illinois, Arizona, Iowa, Texas, Indiana, Kansas, Utah, Tennessee,
North Carolina, Nevada and Ohio.
Several of the mid-Atlantic states are recovering which
indicates that the outbreaks in the northern states will not be as bad as the
South. North Carolina is on the mend but South Carolina remains in the covid
soup. Perhaps the US vacationers prefer the South Carolina beaches where they
spread virus?
Texas, Arizona and New Mexico are southern border states so
their improving posture with covid indicates that the border crisis may not be
notably adding to the spread of virus. Tennessee improves but Kentucky and West
Virginia remain stuck in the coronavirus quagmire.
Kudos to Kentucky for stepping-up and providing monoclonal
antibody treatments for sick citizens. The hospitals realize if they perform a
lot of mAb treatments, it will reduce the patient load. Yes, it will.
Monoclonal antibody treatments have been demonstrated to reduce
hospitalizations by 70% to 75%. The treatment must occur, however, within 10
days of the onset of symptoms.
Kentucky has a tent set up with a dozen recliner-style
chairs where patients can sit while they receive the mAb treatment
intravenously. Other states should ask Kentucky how they set up the mAb tent,
or other states for that matter, such as Florida and Texas that are widely
implementing mAb treatments, so they do not have to reinvent the wheel. All
they need is a tent and a bunch of recliners. Ask the local furniture store to
send their recliners to the mAb tent if the hospital does not have furniture
available. Save lives. Do not take it out on the unvaccinated for getting sick;
instead, help them get better and keep them out of the hospital.
Washington state slips into the covid ooze after pulling
itself out. Idaho’s hospital systems are completely overrun with the highest
patient loads in history, so Washington state is helping out. No good deed goes
unpunished and Washington pays the price with higher cases and a resurgence in
the China Virus battle.
Missouri was the epicenter of the delta wave and it is
disappointing that the daily cases level-off instead of dropping further.
Louisiana and Alabama are also in the same boat where daily cases are way down
but the active cases curves will not yet roll over lower. Perhaps the folks in
these states are remaining sick for longer periods of time or the people receiving
mAb treatments may be counted as active cases.
The bad list has several northeastern states listed such as
Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont and Massachusetts. The
northern states are less populated so outbreaks will not significantly impact
the overall US numbers. The outbreaks are very much a community spread event
now with pockets of states experiencing difficulty but much of the country on
the road of recovery.
French drug maker Sanofi drops its research and testing on
an mRNA drug for COVID-19 preferring to pursue vaccines for other diseases such
as influenza. It probably has more to do with Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna being
the big dogs with the covid vaccines and Sanofi seeing it as a tough nut to
crack.
Pfizer submits its mRNA vaccine trial data on 5 to 11 year
old’s to the FDA but there’s a twist. Of course, there is a twist. There always
is in this chaotic, confusing politically-massaged pandemic. Pfizer does not
request the emergency authorization to use the vaccine on the youngsters.
As mentioned several times previously, one of the criteria
for receiving emergency vaccine approval is that there are no other treatments
or therapies available. This is why the Whitehouse and CDC downplays, ignores
or denigrates other treatments and therapeutics; they are a one-trick pony with
blinders on only focused on vaccines and nothing else. It is a grave disservice
to the American people.
The situation with granting emergency approval may be
getting a little dicey as stockrooms at hospitals and clinics around the world load-up
on the cheap and proven effective COVID-19 treatments and therapeutics. It may
be hard to justify an emergency use approval, especially for children that, as
the death data above highlights, are not at risk for death. Not even 500
children under 18 have died during the entire 20 months of pandemic in America.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave, as Sir Walter Scott opined.
Perhaps Pfizer not requesting emergency approval has a far
more innocent reason. The pharmaceutical behemoth says it plans to request the
emergency approval in the days or weeks ahead. It sounds like the neighborhood
huckster telling you, “I’ll have the money for you next Tuesday.” Pfizer may
simply be gathering and collating additional data to present to the FDA in the
days ahead and at that time will request the emergency authorization, or will
they?
Once Pfizer requests the emergency authorization, it will
take about 3 weeks to move through the FDA and CDC advisory boards, or even
faster now since Queen Walensky can simply wave her scepter and profess an
immediate decision herself only providing the advisory panel a token glance.
One of the potential problem areas with the Pfizer/BioNTech
vaccine for young kids is the difference in doses. A child 11 years and 11
months old will receive one-third the dose that a 12 year old child receives
(that is only 30 days older). Put the other way, a 12 year old kid receives 3
times the serum that a child 11 years and 11 months old receives.
Also, as far as 11 year old’s go, you can have a boy like Cullen,
a miniature Baby Huey, at 140 pounds, or Tiny Timmy, that weighs 74 pounds if
standing on the scale after lunch. The vaccines may not correlate to weight
well. That is a question for the virologists. Weight may not be a factor in the
dosage but there is still a factor in how two kids, one only 30 days older than
the other, receives three times the vaccine as the other.
The saga with unvaccinated Keystone continues. Nurse
Goodbody was set to administer the first shot into Keystone’s left buttock but
he got cold feet, er cold cheeks would be a more apropos description. He even
got a tattoo on the cheek to make Goodbody laugh. Keystone is confused, however,
more so than a typical day, after the FDA and CDC booster shot decision.
Keystone is ambidextrous and cannot lose use of either arm
for a day so he planned on getting the first vaccine shot in the left buttock cheek and
the second in the right cheek but he remains extremely concerned where Nurse Goodbody
plans to place the booster.
Goodbody is mad at Keystone for hesitating at taking the
vaccine after the booster shot confusion occurred, but she never remains mad
for long. She has a new pair of Speedo’s available for him as an incentive to
take the shot but Keystone may try to parlay that into Goodbody also providing
a new shorty robe as well. The pandemic is decreasing worldwide and in America
and may be gone by the end of the year. The pundits, however, say it is
guaranteed to be endemic going forward.
Keystone promises Nurse Goodbody he will think about the
vaccine and she understands after they talked over the wide variety of COVID-19
treatments and therapeutics available as well as monoclonal antibodies.
The Swiss cheese model can be applied to the pandemic. Yes,
there is something called the Swiss cheese model. It is actually a very useful
concept that is helpful in describing the pandemic. Taking the schools as an
example, there are various levels of protection that can be employed to
minimize COVID-19 infections. Some of these levels, or layers of Swiss cheese,
are vaccinations for teachers and staff, vaccinations for students, masks,
social distancing, hand washing, ventilation, the cleaning of surfaces, etc..,
you can probably come up with a few more.
Each individual layer of Swiss cheese cannot stop the
pandemic, or infections, on its own but it does provide a layer of protection.
In other words, each layer helps but it has holes in it because it cannot stop
the pandemic by itself; it looks like a piece of Swiss cheese. But if you begin
stacking up all the Swiss cheese layers and then hold them up to the light, all
the holes are covered and the pandemic will end.
Peeling back the stack of Swiss cheese, perhaps eating a
couple slices, you can see that a couple layers of protection will not
completely stop the infections. Maybe a few layers will finally block all the
holes. If a school did not have a big budget and all they could do is social
distancing and hand washing, well, chances are they will have a higher
infection rate than a school that has redone its ventilation system, enforces
mask mandates and vaccinations for teachers, and encourages social distancing
and hand washing while cleaning surfaces in between classes. That is a lot of
layers to cover all the holes in the Swiss cheese. The Swiss cheese model is an
accepted concept in safety and scientific modeling and the pandemic pundits
would be wise to use it in their COVID-19 discussions.
In late-breaking news today, the Whitehouse proudly
announces that 400K booster shots were given on the weekend. This means that a
big chunk of the US vaccination rate, that is falling-off, is the booster (or
third shots for the immunocompromised) shots (not first-time jabs). Isn’t it fascinating?
Those that are enthusiastically pro-vaccine immediately run out to get booster
shots offering their arms as pincushions while the vaccine hesitant are dazedand confused because the 2-shot vaccine they were considering, perhaps ready to
move forward with, will now be 3 shots. The FDA and CDC just moved the vaccine
goal posts.
Country music singer/songwriter Zac Brown cancels the
Pittsburgh show and others after contracting COVID-19. The Zac Brown Band is
expected to get back on track after a couple weeks after the mandated
quarantine period is over. Perhaps some fried chicken would cheer-up theband and fans.
The pandemic is decreasing worldwide and in the United
States. October is going to be a great month for the planet. Eastern Europe and
western Asia has problems as Russia spreads its disease westward but the rest
of the earth is in good shape. The doom and gloom on democrat media, that is
spewed daily to encourage people to get vaccinated, will begin looking silly
each day forward as America continues to beat down wave 5. Watch for the US
active cases chart to roll over which will confirm that the delta wave is being
tossed into the dumpster of history.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 9/29/21, at 3:00 AM EST: The US stock market takes a hit yesterday collapsing about -2% across all indexes and sectors. America reports 106K daily new cases yesterday. The US active cases chart is off the peak (flattening) for 2 consecutive days. The drop in the US active cases chart to form the bell shape, as shown above, is the icing on the cake that brings COVID-19 to its knees. Monitor the chart closely this week to make sure it breaks lower. US total coronavirus cases top 44 million. 711,222 Americans die at the hands of the China Virus. 33.5 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus. HHS Secretary Mayorkas admits that the surge in COVID-19 cases at the southern US border caught him off guard. He must be dumb. The chronology explained for many weeks how the virus was spreading up through Central America, then Mexico then leading to elevated cases in Texas. It was simple to see. He must be dumb. Mayorkas comments on the border debacle where nearly 20K Haitians were camped-out at the border trying to enter the United States. He says 22% of the Haitians, 1 in 5, have "illness." The Whitehouse lied about not allowing any Haitians to enter the US since 12K were released into the country. Americans want to be told the truth about what is going on not lied to on a daily basis.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 9/29/21, at 4:00 AM EST: The world continues recovering from the pandemic except for the hotspot in eastern Europe and western Asia. Oh no. Russia reports 852 deaths yesterday, 9/28/21, the deadliest day of the pandemic. Russia's active COVID-19 cases are at record levels climbing higher each day. Russia's stink is spreading westward. The WHO should make itself useful and perform genomic testing in Russia, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia to see if something funky is going on (variants). The WHO tries to regain its reputation by proclaiming that China should cooperate with an investigation into finding out the origin of COVID-19. China scoffs at the request decreeing that the WHO is "against science." That is what a filthy communist would be expected to say. China will never cooperate with a coronavirus origin investigation because when it is found to be a Wuhan Lab leak, the communist regime, the CCP, does not want to pay reparations to the world.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 9/29/21, at 10:00 AM EST: NBA (basketball) star Lebron James, that has played coy about whether he was vaccinated or not, says he is vaccinated. He probably did not want to lose any money so he kneels and takes the vaccine. Pro-vaccine people want King James (his nickname) to declare the greatness of vaccines to encourage others to take the shot but instead he says folks should see their doctors and he is in no position to tell anyone what to do when it comes to their health. Merck and Pfizer are working on an oral pill to treat COVID-19. Humorously, it is probably made up of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine. Pause for laughter. The pharma giants expect to submit trial data this Fall and perhaps receive emergency authorization to distribute the oral pills to the public by year-end. The scientists, er alchemists, are busy in their laboratories mixing colorful liquids in glass beakers. Lord Fauci says information will be coming on the trials testing the combination of vaccine types for booster shots such as a person with the J&J vaccine receiving a Moderna booster. The laboratories bustle with activity with Fauci gleefully stirring the witch's brew. Maybe you can get all three. Start with a little Pfizer, then a month later some J&J then a few months later cap it off with a little bit of Moderna. People may lose interest in vaccines as they see the US wave 5 ending.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 9/29/21, at 11:00 AM EST: New York continues threatening its citizens with getting the vaccine or losing their jobs. Isn't America great? New York Governor Hochul and New York City Mayor de Blasio are drunk with power. They demand that New Yorker's kneel before them to receive their vaccination shots. Teachers, healthcare workers, police and others will lose jobs in the coming days due to the stupid vaccine mandate. Hochul and de Blasio are the vaccine Gestapo proclaiming, "The mandates have worked." They say thousands of employees have been vaccinated since the mandate (however, thousands more remain unvaccinated). They love the control. Both are foaming at the mouth as de Blasio decrees, "Now is the time for mandates!" Yesterday, a few hundred protestors march along Manhattan streets demonstrating against mandates disrupting traffic chanting, "F#$& Joe Biden and de Blasio."
Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 9/29/21, at 2:00 PM EST: The NBA (basketball) says pay will be docked for unvaccinated players that do not play in any game. Yes, no wonder James stepped-up to get his vaccination. Everything in life is always about money. Kneel and receive your shot to appease your money-masters. Information is trickling in from various sources on booster shots. The complaints so far from the boosters are pain at the injection site, fatigue and headaches like the previous shots. 3.5 million booster shots have been administered over the last 6 weeks. Many of these boosters are actually third shots for the immunocompromised which need a 3-shot regimen for their bodies to build adequate protection. 2.2 million booster shots are administered over the last week so about two-thirds of the vaccinations given over the last week are booster shots and one-third are first and second shots. The vaccine mandates that force employees to kneel and submit before their employers are accounting for a large portion of the vaccinations over the last week. Allegheny County, which is the region that surrounds the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, jumps on the vaccine mandate bandwagon forcing all employees to get vaccinated. If you do not kneel to authority, you will be fired.
Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 9/29/21, at 4:00 PM EST: In a CNBC interview, BioNTech co-founder Dr Ozlem Tureci proclaims that COVID-19 will become, and already is, manageable. Tureci says BioNTech is continuously assessing variants "and there will be more." She says future booster shots may be needed at 12 to 18 month intervals. Straight from the horse's mouth, one of the head honcho's with the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine ongoing development, is hinting that the mRNA vaccination will be a 4-shot regimen over a 1-1/2 to 2-year period. Fauci is promoting flu and covid shots saying Americans "can get the flu shot in one arm and the covid shot in the other." The flu season was non-existent last year in the United States, probably because everyone was counted as COVID-19. The masking, hand-washing and social distancing tamped-down the seasonal flu. There is concern about this year's flu season since people may be more susceptible to infections but so far so good. Australia's flu season does not appear to be a biggie and they provide a heads-up on what is headed to the States.
Note Added Wednesday Evening, 9/29/21: Broadway show "Aladdin" at the New Amsterdam Theater in New York City, backed by Disney, is stopped after reopening for only one day. Eight of the cast and people involved in the production test positive for coronavirus. More breakthrough cases. Actors, stage hands, staff, the audience, everyone, had to be vaccinated for the show to go on, and they were, but the show is not going on, for now. Aladdin is the first covid-related theater shutdown and not even rubbing the magic lamp could save it. Obviously, people that are vaccinated still get sick from COVID-19. Aladdin is proof-positive. Any questions? Humorously, the dirty, unwashed, unvaccinated lepers of society cannot be blamed for the Aladdin debacle. Aladdin is a 100% vaccine mandate event that spreads the Wuhan Virus. Humans want to think they are always in control but when it comes to viruses or Mother Nature, they are not. The vaccinated people have been spreading COVID-19 since the mask mandate was lifted in May and conveniently, for their narrative, any infection or outbreak is blamed on the dirty unvaccinated. WBZ4 News out of Boston says dozens of state troopers (state police) may lose their jobs if they do not comply with a vaccine mandate. Why is the country doing this to itself? 20% of the Massachusetts state troopers are unvaccinated. The bad thing about the vaccine mandates is that they do not address natural immunity. Americans understand this so the medical community loses more credibility daily. Doctors are telling patients, that have adequate antibody protection due to a prior covid infection, to not get vaccinated, but King Biden knows better and decrees that everyone shut their pie holes and get vaccinated. The vaccine mandates provide more excuses for Americans to hate each other with the rabid vaccinated control freaks the aggressors. YouTube, which is Google, which is Alphabet, announces plans to crack down on videos and creators of vaccine misinformation. As always, the difficult question is, who decides what is misinformation? Who is king? Rock and Roll is King.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 9/30/21, at 3:00 AM EST: The US reports 123K daily new cases yesterday with the 7-day MA at 112K cases. The daily cases need to be below 112K to keep pulling the 7-day MA trend line lower. The US active cases curve continues flattening and it will be great to see it roll over lower to begin forming the bell shape. 2.2K Americans die yesterday an unacceptable number since monoclonal antibodies and other treatments and therapies besides vaccinations can save lives. The anecdotal media stories that are intended to tug at the heart strings to encourage people to get vaccinated continue showing fat people dying of coronavirus. Idaho remains a mess with Washington state helping its neighbor. Holy smokes. West Virginia reports 64 deaths the deadliest day of the pandemic. The daily cases are coming off the wild record high on 9/24/21. Oddly, however, West Virginia's active cases continue dropping. The chart contradictions hint that there may be issues with West Virginia's data reporting. The record day of daily cases last week and deaths now may be due to a slug of numbers that were not previously reported. Pennsylvania holds the delta wave at bay. Ohio's active cases are rolling over so West Virginia's neighbors are not experiencing the same jump in cases further hinting that there may be a data issue in the Mountain State. Kentucky reports a big spike in deaths to 82 yesterday only exceeded by one other day in January. There must be some level of incompetence occurring in the healthcare system to see the large numbers of deaths occurring. What is happening? The hospitals have to maintain their profit margins to please the shareholders so the inadequate staffing likely leads to more deaths. On top of that, there are *sshole political leaders and corporate CEO's firing employees for not being vaccinated further reducing staff levels. It is a pandemic sh*t show.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 9/30/21, at 6:00 AM EST: The Beijing Winter Olympics are quickly approaching only 4 months away on 2/4/21. Since China is a dirtbag communist nation, they enforce authoritarian rules and will not permit any international fans to attend the Games; only Chinese citizens will be permitted to attend events. In addition, athletes arriving for the Olympics must remain in quarantine for 21 days, in other words jail. It is guaranteed that China's, the CCP's, idea of quarantine is a lot more strict than Japan's. Other nations cannot attend the Beijing Olympics because of the communist country's pursuit of a zero-covid policy. While the rest of the world has lived through covid Hell for nearly 2 years, China has been relatively unscathed. Interestingly, the pursuit of zero-covid may actually open up China to a nasty outbreak at some point. Global athletes probably wish the Olympics were anywhere else instead of commie red China.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 9/30/21, at 7:00 AM EST: The USDA is helping the food industry, local school systems, farmers and distributors to insure that the school lunch programs remain well-stocked. The pandemic, especially the Delta variant, has disrupted global supply chains. If there is a holiday gift you want to get for someone, buy it now since it likely will not be there in a few weeks. Global shippers warn of dire conditions ahead. Docks at the major ports are understaffed further slowing the movement of goods. A shipping container from China to the US West Coast that cost $2,000 a few months ago is over $16,000 now. Small businesses that had plans for holiday joy are blown out of the water by a covid bazooka and do not even know if they will receive their goods on time, or at all. Prices are increasing on all goods. Inflation is too many people, with too much money, chasing too few goods. Bacon prices in the US are the highest in 40 years. ASF (African Swine Flu) outbreaks in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Haiti are creating worries. Paint giant Sherwin Williams is raising prices so that rickety fence in the north pasture is going to have to wait another year. Dollar Tree, that, duh, sells everything for a dollar, is upping its prices to a 1.20 and even a 1.50 for some items. Maybe they should call themselves "Buck-Fitty." Dollar Tree says it may begin selling items priced at $2, $5 or more. Wall Street celebrates the higher prices since the profits will increase and the stocks will run higher. DLTR jumps +17% on the news. The wealthy dance with glee making money effortlessly. One-half of Americans do not own a single share of stock and are screwed daily by America's rigged crony capitalism system.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 9/30/21, at 11:00 AM EST: The CDC urges pregnant people to get vaccinated. Note the jackass 'pregnant people' garbage term the CDC endorses. If medical folks wonder why Americans do not trust what they say, look no further. Would you believe anything a medical organization says that tells you that the term pregnant women is incorrect? It is stupid stuff. In case anyone does not understand, only women get pregnant. Only 1 in 3 pregnant women, 33%, are vaccinated. Only 16% of black pregnant women, 1 in 6, are vaccinated. 161 pregnant women have died during the pandemic. 21 die in August. The CDC says the vaccine does not cause sterility or miscarriage but it is the same organization that says pregnant women is an incorrect term and it should be pregnant people. The US Jobless Claims are released every Thursday morning and unemployment claims climb higher for 3 consecutive weeks. The economy is not as robust as touted. The India B1617 variant (delta) dampens the economic mood over the last couple months.
Note Added Thursday Afternoon, 9/30/21: The US southern border crisis is not improving. More caravans of tens of thousands of migrants are headed for Texas and by the government's own admission many are infected with COVID-19 or suffer from other illnesses. There are large numbers of Haitians trying to enter the United States as their country is in shambles from poverty, hurricanes, the presidential assassination and coronavirus. Less than 1% of Haitians are vaccinated. The US government plans to fire border control agents for not being vaccinated while at the same time facing its worst manpower shortage ever. America has become a daily circus. The illegal aliens entering the US via the southern border are given token health checkups and not required to get vaccinated. Many are bussed to locations all around the country some carrying COVID-19. Humorously, the illegals entering the nation are given more rights than the Americans living in the country. The government wants to ban the term 'illegal alien' instead preferring 'non-citizen' another stupid idea since a non-citizen may simply be a temporary foreign visitor vacationing. The government should be happy that the folks entering the US at the southern border are no longer called the derogatory name 'wetbacks' that was prominent in the 1960's and 1970's.
Note Added Thursday Evening, 9/30/21: People that are inoculated with the Moderna vaccine are asking about booster shots and are being told that the Moderna booster shot may only be one-half the dose of the previous 2 shots. Some people that have taken the 2-shot mRNA vaccine are becoming hesitant due to confusing booster shot messaging. Will Moderna's booster be a half-dose? Is the Pfizer/BioNTech booster a half-dose? If not, why not? The questions around vaccines increase daily but the Whitehouse and CDC message never changes telling people that there is no choice except to get vaccinated.
Note Added Friday Morning, 10/1/21, at 3:00 AM EST: The US reports 114K daily new cases yesterday the last day of September. The 7-day MA trend line is down to 109K cases. The US active cases curve continues flattening and would be expected to roll over any day. Healthcare workers should be noticing their caseloads leveling off or dropping and conditions improving. Note Added Friday Morning, 10/1/21, at 6:00 AM EST: Merck seeks emergency approval for the first oral antiviral medicine, molnupiravir, to treat COVID-19 (if you do not count hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin and several other medicines used to treat covid successfully for the last 2 years around the world). Merck says the phase 3 trial, conducted with Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, reduces the risk of coronavirus hospitalization or death by 50%. As reported by CNBC, Merck CEO Davis proclaims, "With these compelling results, we are optimistic that molnupiravir can become an important medicine as part of the global efforts to fight the pandemic." MRK stock jumps +4% in pre-market trading. The same medical pundits that denigrate ivermectin praise the new development. The talking heads say there is no medical studies on ivermectin to confirm its usefulness. That is correct. The inept Biden administration should have been studying HCQ (hydroxychloroquine is the Plaquenil drug that has been used for decades in the treatment of lupus) and ivermectin (an antiparasitic drug in use for decades that the democrat media calls a horse-dewormer and other derogatory names) for the last 2 years but they ignore the treatments since they cost pennies and will not make the drug companies, politicians and stock holders wealthy. Tyson, the chicken and meat giant, says 91% of its workforce is vaccinated compared to less than 50% through June. New York Mayor de Blasio continues gleefully bloviating the mantra, "Mandates work!" Of course they do. Red China stopped their pandemic outbreak quickly because they told everyone to stay home in their jail cells and if they did not, they would receive a bullet in their heads. Of course mandates work; it is called communism. De Blasio boasts that 92% of the teachers are vaccinated but that means 8% are not. He puffs his chest out and says teachers not willing to take the shot will be terminated and substitute teachers, that are vaccinated, will take their place. And you were a stupid teacher actually thinking that you made a difference in your pupil's lives. How naïve. New York is telling teachers loud and clear to kneel and submit to taking the shot, otherwise they will be flicked to the curb like a cigarette butt, and a wet-behind-the-ears just-graduated newbie will take their place. It is sickening how the politicians instigate hate among the population pitting Americans against one another. The rabid vaccinated zealots are the aggressors, the bullies, telling people to ignore their own doctors, shut their mouths, kneel, and take the vaccine. There is no allowance or tolerance for anyone that has had COVID-19 and has natural antibodies that are being instructed by their doctor to not take the vaccine. Studies show, and the CDC is on board with the findings, that natural immunity is better than the vaccines. The vaccine decision should be personal between yourself and your doctor and the bullying, forcing people to submit to a shot in order to keep their jobs, is not helpful to America. It creates disgruntled employees that will retaliate against the company when they get the opportunity. The vaccinated zealots point their righteous index finger skyward proclaiming that everyone is vaccinated as a child for measles, mumps, rubella and other diseases, so why not COVID-19? Simple. The other vaccines have been used for multiple decades. The mRNA vaccine technology is in its infancy (25 years at best with actual research testing occurring only over the last 10 years) and in public use for not even one year as yet. It is reasonable for some folks to want to wait to see if long-term problems arise with the vaccines. In the history of vaccines, the worst side effects and negative issues developing from vaccines are typically identified within the first 6 months of public use. The pro-vaccine zealots can wave this talking point and say that 10 months of use is good enough to deem the shots safe. They are probably correct, but they may not be. Americans will not know all the effects of the vaccination for 10 years but is it reasonable for some people to want to wait 2 or 3 years to see what happens. They may turn out to be the smart ones. In addition, the mumps, measles and other vaccinations protect against infection but the coronavirus vaccines wane over time and do not stop infections and transmissions from occurring. Coronavirus is killing the fat folks. The people that need to worry are the overweight and obese folks and chubby kids. They are majority of the stiff bodies at the morgue. The 'one size fits all' Biden administration approach to the pandemic (vaccinations only) is close-minded and creates needless American deaths.

Parents are passionate on both sides those in favor of masks are consumed with worry about the virus while those against mask mandates want parents to be in control of what their kids do rather than the school board or government. The National School Board Association is asking the government for funds for protecting board members and teachers but they are the jackasses instituting draconian mask and vaccine mandates that are creating the trouble. The US active cases curve continues flattening and with lower weekend numbers ahead, should begin dropping to form the coveted bell shape as the chart shows above. The new global hotspot in eastern Europe and western Asia is worsening with daily new cases spiking higher in several countries. South Korea remains a mess crossing the 2.5K deaths grim milestone and struggling to gain control of the current wave as daily cases remain at or near record highs. Cambodia is worsening after it was starting to recover. Vietnam continues recovering. Australia's daily cases remain at or near record levels as the nation struggles with containing the virus. Many Aussies take to the streets daily, scuffling and fighting with the police, revolting against the draconian lockdown measures. Oh no. Hey Governor Hochul, are you praying to God that the state does not fall apart next week? Hochul says God says you are smart if you get vaccinated but dumb if you do not. If you are unvaccinated in New York, do not stay home on Monday. GO TO WORK LIKE A REGULAR DAY. TELL YOUR BOSS YOU ARE THERE TO WORK LIKE USUAL. California now plans to mandate vaccines for all students. Los Angeles is considering that residents should show proof of vaccine to enter buildings in addition to the mask mandate. Note Added Saturday Morning, 10/2/21, at 6:00 AM EST: The CDC says over 4 million booster shots are administered in the US since 8/13/21. The media headline this weekend is America crossing the 700K deaths grim milestone from COVID-19 as per the Johns-Hopkins data that always plays catch-up to the Worldometer data now at 719K dead. The CDC is at 697K deaths and the IHME is bringing up the rear at 695K. CNN reports that it took 74 days to reach 100K deaths, then 122 days to hit 200K dead, then 81 days to 300K, 35 days to 400K, 36 days to 500K, 114 days to 600K and 108 days to 700K. Despite the wickedness of the India B1617 variant (delta), the deaths are nowhere near the pace seen during the terrible wave 3 that peaked in January. The last 100K deaths took longer than the previous 100K deaths which is a good thing albeit by only a marginal amount. Take the victories where you can get them. Interestingly, the percent of Americans that are obese should drop significantly now that many were killed-off by the pandemic. Pundits say over 100K deaths could have been saved since the vaccinations were available but the same thing can be said, and perhaps even more lives would have been saved, if the US would have educated the public on treatments and therapeutics such as HCQ and ivermectin and then using monoclonal antibody treatments for people that became sick. One-third of the parents say right away. One-third say wait and see. One-third say definitely not or probably not. Only 43% of the 12 to 18 year old age group are vaccinated that has been eligible for the shots for several months. The younger age group will probably see less vaccinations than the 12 to 18 year old age group. As the pandemic subsides in the United States, and wave 5 gratefully rolls over and dies, people may become less interested in vaccinations.

The US active cases chart continues to flatten through 9.8 to 9.9 million cases for the last 11 days. With the daily cases dropping, the active cases chart should begin rolling over and falling sharply. Doctors appearing on television are more calm concerning the caseloads so hospitals are noticing that conditions are improving. The pandemic should dramatically improve in the week ahead. Idaho remains a mess. Ditto Washington state continuing to take Idaho patients. Kentucky continues struggling but the virus that spread north and east from the South is held at bay by Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Maryland is struggling a bit to gain control of the current wave. Tennessee continues recovering. West Virginia's data remans messy but they are likely not in as bad shape as feared when cases and deaths spiked the other day.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says the India B1617 variant (delta) has spread beyond Auckland. The zero-covid strategy may come back to bite New Zealand in the keister. About one thousand New Zealanders take to the streets protesting the ongoing lockdowns. The UK continues struggling at reducing the daily new cases and officials are concerned that the colder weather coming, forcing people indoors, will create more problems.

He proudly praises California's "sound judgement" in forcing all children to get vaccinated with COVID-19 shots. The new California edict by Governor Newsom, who just won the recall election, is adding the coronavirus vaccine to the list of requirements for all children attending school. The vaccine zealots are in full control. Fauci comments on the 700K dead Americans saying "many of those deaths were avoidable." Well, you were one of the guys in charge the whole time, right, buddy? After companies and businesses started mandating vaccines, thousands of employees are claiming religious and medical exemptions. Lord Fauci must be an expert on God, like New York Governor Hochul, decreeing that there are only a handful of religions that do not allow vaccines. The vaccinated consider themselves to be righteous and pure while they judge the unvaccinated as dirty pond scum. Many false prophets are influential in today's culture. Former President Trump, who displayed his incompetence on handling the pandemic last year, says he received the Pfizer vaccine and would consider getting a booster shot "if I thought it was necessary." King Donnie lies routinely so it would not be surprising that he already received the booster shot.

Connecticut stupidly plans to fire employees and troopers that are not vaccinated and plans to bring in the National Guard to handle problems that develop. 11% of the Connecticut state employees are not vaccinated as the deadline for the vaccine mandate strikes. Americans protesting vaccine mandates in front of hospitals or on city streets are displaying signs that say, "Stop Medical Tyranny." In a new level of sick, Ochsner Health, Louisiana's largest hospital system, already requiring mandatory vaccines for employees, announces a $200 per month surcharge if an employee's spouse is unvaccinated and wants to remain on their health insurance. Isn't America great? This type of garbage will add fuel to the coming class war in America. About 80% of the Ochsner Health employees are vaccinated. United Airlines CEO Kirby, a Biden butt-kisser, brags that 99% of the workforce is vaccinated under the mandated program and says it is the "right thing to do." A couple hours later a 96% number is quoted. Further, there are over 2,000 United employees requesting religious and medical exemptions that have to be addressed. Nonetheless, other airlines are buckling and instituting vaccine mandates to keep up with the competition. The wealthy class wants to take their vacations so they need the commoners in their jobs to serve them. Companies may boast that they forced workers to kneel and take the vaccine but in the long run they only create a disgruntled employee that now hates the place and will not turn down any opportunity to screw the business. That's the way it works. When you screw people, they screw you back, some of them tenfold.

NBC media interviews the excited Brown but in the background the crowd begins chanting, "F#@& Joe Biden," which is occurring at many college football games, golf tournaments and now NASCAR events. NBC is democrat media so the journalist tries to place a spin on the chant telling the winning driver that the crowd is proclaiming, "Let's Go Brandon," but no sooner does he say that, the chant comes through loud and clear on NBC broadcast television as "F%&# Joe Biden." Biden's popularity has disintegrated after the Afghanistan debacle. The exit from the 20-year war is a disaster with Marines killed in the bomb blast at the airport, the US military killing an innocent man and his family in a missile strike, leaving Americans behind, and Biden lying about the decisions. The ongoing delta wave and failure to pass infrastructure legislation does not help the Biden administration either but all the bad stuff occurring is a result of the president's decisions. The independents are all that matter since the republican tribe will always vote for a corrupt republican candidate no matter what and the democrat tribe will always vote for a corrupt democrat candidate no matter what; such is America's crony capitalism system in its last throes. Biden is losing the support from independent voters that put him in office under the guise of a moderate platform. NBC has removed the video from the internet but the chants of "F#$* Joe Biden" are likely going to continue at large events and perhaps increase. Always consider the source of any news since it immediately tells you the spin. The 3-day MA for daily cases continues printing lower highs and lower lows maintaining the ongoing downtrend trend and end of wave 5, the delta wave. The US active cases curve remains flatter than a newlywed's soufflé and needs to drop, which it should this week. 259 Americans die yesterday the lowest number since July. The 7-day MA trend line for US deaths is dropping nicely to 1.4K deaths per day. Perhaps the moving average for deaths per day will go sub 1K this week.

The next day, 10/15/21, the FDA will discuss the J&J booster shot and potentially mixing and matching vaccines. The FDA plans a meeting on 10/26/21 to discuss the emergency approval for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for the 5 to 11 year old's. The FDA has a busy schedule this month. Merck may seek emergency approval at any time for the drug molnupiravir; the oral pill for treating COVID-19. Merck plans to submit data over the coming weeks. The buzz around an oral pill for treating China Flu receives lots of attention in the media, and on Wall Street. From Friday's stock trading into the pre-market this morning, MRK jumps +12%. MRNA tanks -18%. BNTX plummets -14%. PFE loses -2%. NVAX collapses -19%. Moderna, BioNTech and Novavax are crashing although the stocks are up big over the last year. International traders figure that the oral pill by Merck will be more important in treating coronavirus in the future than the vaccines so MRK is up big while the others collapse.

Big mouth New York Mayor de Blasio continues proclaiming that "mandates work" and "make us safer." De Blasio bloviates advice to other US mayors decreeing that they impose vaccine mandates "now, or you will regret it later." A vaccine mandate forcing people to accept new mRNA technology that is in its infancy and not even in public use for one year is a Marxist and communist style philosophy. It is like stopping all automobile accidents by preventing cars from ever being driven again or stopping all gun violence by taking all guns away. It is unintelligent. Fear works, however, and vaccination sites were uber busy in New York over the weekend. People need jobs and to support their families so they accept the communism-light mantra and roll up their sleeves for the shot in the good ole USA a pseudo-free country. 150K teachers, custodians, security guards and cafeteria workers are included in the vaccine mandate imposed on New York schools. As of Friday, there are 3 dozen principals and assistant principals in the New York School System that remain unvaccinated. If about 10K or 15K teachers are canned (about 10% of the workforce) because of this silly vaccination garbage, that would require all the substitute teaches available and then likely several thousand more helpers of some sort, to fill that void. Today will be an interesting day for New York state and city. This evening, will Governor Hochul and Mayor de Blasio be heralded as the queen and king of vaccine mandates or ridiculed for their draconian plan backfiring?
Note Added Monday Afternoon, 10/4/21: Good news. Lord Fauci reverses his earlier comments and decides to not cancel Christmas after all. It is the least the most overpaid, and highly-paid, Federal employee, at $413K per year, can do. In typical Fauci fashion, he blames everyone else for misrepresenting his words of wisdom about not having holiday gatherings (parties). The guy should have retired years ago. Fauci sticks around because he keeps an eye on the Wuhan Lab leak and gain of function research investigations just like the fossil Collins at the NIH. The CDC web site recommends outdoor gatherings during the holidays and if indoors, open the windows and use a fan in a window to move air. The CDC removes the holiday guideline information saying that it is prior guidance. They are working on providing updated information. Incompetence and American mediocrity is on display daily. Thanksgiving is coming fast and Halloween is at the doorstep. The CDC should already have updated guidance posted for the holiday season but once again they bring up the rear. People are not paying attention anymore to the conflicting information from the many pandemic talking heads. Americans are getting on with life and no longer care about the CDC's holiday guidance.
Note Added Monday Evening, 10/4/21: New York says 95% of the school system's 150K employees are vaccinated as per the vaccine mandate. 8,000 workers are placed on "unpaid leave," is what they call it, so they can screw the folks out of unemployment compensation. The furloughed workers include teachers, custodians, cafeteria workers and security guards that did not respect authority, or 'authoritah', as Cartman calls it. Interestingly, their health insurance is covered for a year. If smart, the 8K people that are screwed by New York can work under the table (for cash) for desperate business owners that need workers and probably make out better than their gig with the school system. Then, when the health insurance is about to expire a year from now, return to the school system. Every decision creates unintended consequences a basic principle that many idiots in charge cannot, or choose not to, grasp. The wealthy ruling class in America is completely detached from how common, and poor, Americans live and survive each day. The 7-day MA trend line for the world's daily cases continues dropping like a rock down to 430K cases not seen since early July. The world's deaths are dropping to 5K per day the lowest in a year! The return to school, resumption of large gatherings such as concerts and football games, southern border migrants being distributed across the US and cooler weather sneaking into the northern states, create the buoyancy in some of the state's daily cases numbers.

Trump put on a macho display ripping off his face mask while saluting the helicopter. It was Trump reality television theatrics in its finest hour. Since vaccinations were not available, King Donnie's life was likely saved mainly by the Regeneron monoclonal antibody treatment. Johnny John files for emergency authorization with the FDA for its coronavirus vaccine booster shot. The booster for the J&J vaccine, a non-mRNA shot, is found to greatly increase the protection. The FDA will discuss the findings on 10/15/21. The Johnson & Johnson shot was originally publicized as "one and done" for people that did not want the double-shot mRNA vaccines Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna. 'One and done' was actually 'one and not done' and turns out to be 'one and there is more to come'. The DOJ is instructing the FBI to investigate threats of violence and intimidation occurring at a few school board meetings around the country. It seems like overreach since the local and/or state police should be able to handle such incidents. The board meetings where disruptions are occurring are typically the school systems that are stopping public input at meetings. Parents tend to get angry when the people overseeing their kids during the day tell them that they have no say in what the board decrees from On High.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 10/5/21, at 7:00 AM EST: In addition to the Merck oral pill for treating COVID-19, two other oral offerings are coming down the pike. Pfizer and Atea each have separate oral pill treatments currently in Phase 3 studies so good things are likely on the way. AstraZeneca files for emergency approval for its antibody cocktail dubbed AZD7442 given as a 2-shot regimen. It is in the same group as other monoclonal antibody treatments such as Regeneron, Eli Lilly and the GlaxoSmithKline/Vir offerings. Lots of treatments and therapies, in addition to vaccines, will be available in 2022.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 10/5/21, at 11:00 AM EST: The Hill reports that Lamar University in Texas fires two employees that inquired about the vaccination status of two students. The two workers had students write on a slip of paper whether they were vaccinated or not which went against the dean's confusing guidelines. HIPAA rights have been flushed down the toilet during the pandemic. Marc Pilcher, a British makeup artist and hair stylist that won an Emmy for the "Bridgerton" show that no one heard of, dies of coronavirus. Pilcher, 53, was double-vaccinated (received the 2-shot mRNA regimen) so it is a breakthrough case that kills. News reports say he was in good health but his photos hint that he was not missing any meals.

Wiggins tried to get a religious exemptions to avoid the NBA's vaccine mandate but that was turned down. If unvaccinated, he would not be eligible to play in home games which are one-half the games and would not get paid. Wiggins kneels before his NBA masters and the Almighty Dollar taking the vaccine. Wiggins says, "It's something I did not want to do, but I was forced." He says he is "taking a risk." No one forced you, buddy, you kneel for money. His honey likely told him 'no money, no honey, baby'. Wiggins folded like a cheap suit submitting to the vaccine zealots. The NIH is unsure if an interim director will be appointed. Why is Collins retiring in the middle of a once in a century pandemic? He is hoping a woman scientist will be appointed to his position. Collins must be counting on Fauci to keep an eye on the Wuhan Lab leak and gain of function research scandals. Even more surprising is that Collins is only 71 years old. He doesn't look a day over 80. The WHO is unhappy that the goal to have all countries at least 10% vaccinated by the end of September failed. 56 nations around the world do not have at least 10% of the population vaccinated. The filthy CCP, that lays in bed with the WHO, while Collins and Fauci stand at the bedside cheering them on, are exposed for scandalous behavior during 2019. Red China was buying huge shipments of PCR (polymerase chain reaction) tests and equipment that were sent into Wuhan, China, as early as May 2019. Never trust a filthy lying communist. China has been lying about the pandemic for well over two years and will never tell the world the truth. It is up to the countries of the world to ban together to ostracize and seek reparations from dangerous China. A young woman in her late 30's takes the J&J vaccine and kills over from a rare blood-clotting side effect. Four Americans have died from the Johnson & Johnson vaccine out of 15 million shots. There are 37 confirmed reports of blood clot issues from the J&J vaccine but the qualifying word 'confirmed' gives away the fact that there are likely far more incidents either unreported or labeled as a different health matter. The CDC is involved and investigating the rare tragedy. Inquiring minds want to know if a vaccine mandate, forcing her to get vaccinated, perhaps to keep her job, may have led to her demise, or not. Most Americans do not know that Johnny John is new to the vaccination game; they make the leap from Band-Aid's to vaccines during the pandemic which is quite a jump. For the Pfizer/BioNTech booster shots or third shots, some people are experiencing swollen lymph nodes in the under arms. The FDA suggests women delay their mammograms or at least make sure doctors are aware that they just received a booster shot. The medical professionals say it is nothing to be concerned about and the swelling should subside quickly but the out-of-touch officials do not understand that when people hear the two words "lymph nodes," they get worried.

Hospital admissions and hospitalizations are off the peak and trending down in Alaska. The one sticking point is the young folks from 0 to 29 years old still experiencing a rise in hospitalizations. Note Added Wednesday Morning, 10/6/21, at 11:00 AM EST: United Airlines CEO Kirby brags about the company's vaccine mandate forcing employees to get vaccinated or lose their jobs, saying it went "phenomenally well" proclaiming, "Vaccines work." Kirby says 99.7% of the United workforce of 67K employees are vaccinated. 232 workers are fired. He does not tell you about the over 2,000 United workers that are seeking religious or medical exemptions yet to be approved. All that matters is perceptions. Thus, United has done a good sales job proclaiming almost universal compliance with the communistic vaccine mandate and will likely hide the 2,232 employees in the back room letting them continue to work. United is not committed to mandating vaccines for passengers. Well, isn't that special as the Church Lady says? The airlines want their workers vaccinated but they do not care about the passengers that are comingling with their workers continuously. The mask rules on airplanes remain in effect into January. First offenders not wearing masks are fined from $500 to $1,000 and repeat offenders are fined from $1,000 to $3,000. What a sick society.

CDC Director Walensky warns about the flu shot telling folks to take that shot with the coronavirus shot. The medical folks may as well install PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) lines in all our chests. That way, we can stop by the office once a week so they can easily inject the latest batch of serum. The Whitehouse announces plans to spend $1 billion on at-home COVID-19 tests. Spokesman Jeff Zients says 200 million rapid tests will be available for the public each month by December. NIH Director Collins spews nonsense as he sneaks out the back door. Collins comments on the origin of COVID-19 saying, "Most likely it was natural origin that started with a bat." He's batty. Collins claims there is no evidence of a lab leak but he fully knows that China is not cooperating with any investigation into the origin of coronavirus and likely destroyed much of the proof. Get lost, buddy. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. The country's leadership is sick and weak. The Telegraph reports that a group of Wuhan and US scientists were submitting proposals and plans for creating new coronaviruses before the pandemic started. There are a lot of folks, such as Collins, Fauci and Peter Daszak (EcoHealth), that got some 'splainin' to do, as Lucy and Ricky would say.
Note Added Wednesday Evening, 10/6/21: CBS 4 out of Denver reports that UC Health in Colorado refuses a kidney transplant for a woman that is unvaccinated. Her donor is also unvaccinated. UC Health will let the woman die rather than perform the operation. Isn't that sick? They are looking elsewhere to have the operation performed. Other states are mandating vaccines for people on transplant waiting lists forcing these sick folks, that are hoping for a chance to live, to jump through more hoops and dance like a monkey for their health masters. Los Angeles city council passes a draconian ordinance requiring all residents to provide proof of vaccination to enter bars, restaurants, gyms, hair salons and theaters. The grocers, pharmacies and the big box department stores like Walmart or Target are excluded. Businesses are left with the responsibility of becoming the covid police enforcing the ordinance. The latest from the US hypocrisy department shows Michigan democrat Representative Rashida Tlaib, a member of the radical left group of the party that are called the 'squad', on video saying, "I'm just wearing it (mask) because I've got a republican tracker here." The people making the draconian pandemic rules do not believe in them, or follow them, themselves. It is theater. Dr Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA technology, tries to set the record straight on natural immunity that is being ignored or misreported by news organizations. A small study from Kentucky, that points to the need for broader detailed studies, indicates that those with natural immunity, from already having the virus, are 27 times less likely to be infected with covid than a vaccinated person. The so-called supercharging of the immune system where television doctors are telling everyone to get vaccinated regardless of whether they have had COVID-19 or not, is not intelligent.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 10/7/21, at 3:00 AM EST: The US reports 108K daily new cases with the 7-day MA at 101K cases. 2.1K Americans die yesterday. The deaths are shameful. Instead of using proven COVID-19 treatments proactively, the US medical system wants patients to wait until they become real sick, then admit them to the hospital to try and save their lives. It makes no sense; unless the decision maker's own shares of stock in hospitals and big pharma which they likely do. Hospitals are paid a minimum of $39K per covid patient so there is no incentive for the administrators to prevent hospitalizations with the $1,500 monoclonal antibody treatment unless, of course, if your goal is to help humanity. Such is the crony capitalism system. Idaho continues struggling topping 3K total deaths in the state. Ditto Washington state that is helping Idaho. West Virginia is improving steadily so the big spike in cases on 9/24/21 may have been partially due to data collection or reporting. Pennsylvania is at a standoff with the covid monster at about 4.8K daily cases per day for the last 3 weeks. Pennsylvania is a heavily-vaccinated state, especially for folks over 60 years old, so the Keystone State should be able to beat back the delta demon. Alaska's 7-day MA of daily new cases is dropping so conditions should improve at the hospitals and clinics over the next couple weeks. It is another day so it is another deadliest day ever for Russia with 929 Russians dying from China Flu. Biden is pressuring more employers to impose vaccine mandates. "I'm calling on more employers to act." Joe quips that even (republican-leaning) Fox News requires vaccinations for all of its employees (not true; there is an option for daily testing provided for the unvaccinated at Fox News). He blames the unvaccinated for "damaging the economy." Everything that goes wrong is blamed on the unvaccinated folks; a convenient excuse for a floundering politician. Sleepy Joe knows the courts are likely going to rule against him on the (unconstitutional) vaccine mandate he is trying to push through OSHA, but he is trying to get all the mileage he can out of the illusion. Biden's vaccine decree provides cover for employers to mandate vaccines performing the government's agenda but the window will not be open for long. Biden's vaccine mandate decree is only a press release so far. The decree is not contested in the courts as yet since no law exists not even an executive order. In a few weeks, the vaccine mandate mirage will disappear into the covid desert of misinformation, confusion and chaos, and millions of Americans will be forcibly vaccinated under false pretenses. Isn't America great? Biden brags that "vaccine mandates work" and praises United Airlines for forcing their employees to kneel before power. The argument is silly. Put a gun to a man's head and tell him he either kneels and takes the vaccination or he loses his job and will no longer be able to support his family. Lo and behold, heaven's to Betsy, look at that, he kneels before his employment masters and takes the shot in the arm instead of the head. Who would have thunk it? Duh. Of course vaccine mandates work. It is control over the population a la communism and Marxism. You can make a man dance a jig if you shoot at his feet like the old Western movies. It's easy. The same silliness occurs with the constantly repeated line that 95% plus of the COVID-19 patients in the hospitals are unvaccinated. Duh. You better hope that is the case, otherwise, it would prove that vaccinations were completely worthless. This is common sense Captain Obvious stuff dressed-up on cable new channels to sound significant. The Whitehouse's sole goal is to cajole, force, pressure and even destroy an American's career, family and life, if they refuse to be vaccinated. It is the sickness that occurs as America's crony capitalism system buckles under the corruption and non-transparency. One of the major failings by both President's Biden and Trump in handling the China Flu pandemic is the single focus on vaccinations while never effectively providing mass testing for Americans. It is a massive mistake. Testing kits should be provided for free or at low-cost for common Americans but 20 months into the misery and the government drops the ball under both the republican and democrat administrations. Do not hassle the unvaccinated or fire them from jobs. Simply test them if they do not want vaccinated and that is good enough to maintain a safe work place. Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva, known for marching to the common-sense beat of his own drum, says he will not force his employees to be vaccinated under the new rules. Villanueva says he does not want to lose 5% to 10% of his workforce overnight because of a vaccination decree by politicians. Keep in mind that members of Congress are exempt from vaccine mandates. Isn't crony capitalism sickening?
Note Added Thursday Evening, 10/7/21: ABC News reports that 30% of America's airline pilots are unvaccinated, as per the Allied Pilots Association union, and it may create problems for the holiday travel season. American Airlines threatens employees that if they are not vaccinated by the day before Thanksgiving, 11/24/21, they will be terminated. Obviously, the airline sets that date because they will screw workers out of their vacation time for the 4-day holiday weekend if they refuse to be vaccinated. The unintended consequences that the inept American leadership fails to realize, or chooses to ignore, while jamming vaccinations down people's throats, is that many workers forced to kneel and submit to vaccination now hate their boss, their coworkers, their company and their country. How's that going to work out?

The deaths remain steady, however, with 1.7K American souls meeting The Maker yesterday. The 7-day MA for US deaths from COVID-19 is at 1.5K deaths per day. THE UNITED STATES TOPS 45 MILLION TOTAL CASES AND 730,206 AMERICANS ARE DEAD FROM THE WUHAN VIRUS. The population of the USA is 330 million Americans (330,000,000). Thus, 0.22% (730/330000) of Americans die from coronavirus over the last 20 months; 1 in every 452 Americans have died from the China Virus. 13.6% (45/330) of Americans have been stricken with the covid infection; 1 in every 7 Americans have been infected with covid (at least). The infections (total cases) are likely far higher than recorded providing more natural immunity than expected, and, along with the antibodies provided by the vaccinations, brings the United States into herd immunity territory. The last two jobs reports miss expectations and the timing coincides with the delta wave increasing in July, August and September. The India B1617 variant (delta) stalls the economic recovery. The Whitehouse releases a statement blaming the disappointing jobs number on the pandemic. At least they did not blame it on the unvaccinated. Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California, places 2,200 unvaccinated employees on unpaid leave and says they will be fired if they do not comply with the vaccine mandate. 92% of the workforce is vaccinated. Kaiser Permanente employs 280K workers nationwide in 39 hospitals and 52K workers are organizing a potential strike. IBM tells its workers to get vaccinated or face suspension. US companies are purposely creating disgruntled, unhappy and perhaps vengeful employees. 'Good luck wit dat' as they say in Brooklyn.
Note Added Friday Afternoon, 10/8/21: President Biden speaks spinning the disappointing jobs number in a positive light citing the low 4.8% unemployment rate. Actually, in an economic recovery, due to the way the rate is calculated, the rate should be rising to reflect millions of people flocking back to the workforce but this is not happening. The democrat tribe blames the Delta variant for the couple-month underperformance in US job creation while the republican tribe blames Biden's policies. Iceland will no longer use the Moderna vaccine due to the increased occurrence of myocarditis and pericarditis (heart inflammation). 88% of Icelanders over 12 years old are vaccinated a stellar number. Finland and Sweden have halted the use of the Moderna vaccine for those under 30 years old. Norway and Denmark advise against using the Moderna vaccine for those under 18 years old.
