Tragically, OVER 5 MILLION PEOPLE ARE DEAD WORLDWIDE FROM
THE CHINA VIRUS. The chart above shows the bloody truth. 5 million souls wiped
off the face of the earth in only 20 months.
US Intelligence says the origin of COVID-19 may never be
known unless China cooperates with an investigation but the filthy CCP refuses
to provide information and access. Think about it. The virus, likely released
from the Wuhan Laboratories, either accidentally or intentionally, murders over
5 million people. This is equivalent to killing off the entire country of
Ireland, or Norway or New Zealand. It is mind-boggling.
The world’s daily new cases are inching higher the last
couple weeks as the chart above shows. The world needs the daily cases to take
out the prior wave 3 and wave 4 lows to prove that the pandemic is ending. The
planet is not there yet and the 7-day MA, that smooths-out the daily choppy
data, curls higher to 428K cases per day. 18 days ago, the 7-day MA was about
to go sub 400K cases per day but the mess in Russia, western Asia and eastern
Europe, now with the spread moving further east into central Europe, sends the
world’s daily cases higher.
Interestingly, the uber low vaccination rates in undeveloped
nations, such as the African countries, are not the reason for the halt of the
world’s downtrend in cases and deaths. Russia is failing miserably at handling
the pandemic with barely one-third of the Ruskies vaccinated. The persistently
high infection rates in Russia this year sicken its neighbors to the west in
western Asia and eastern Europe.
The world’s daily deaths chart is shown above. 7.6K
earthlings die from the China Flu yesterday at least it is less than the 8.8K
deaths last Wednesday. The 7-day MA for world deaths is at 7.1K and sadly
moving higher. There are over 1K Ruskies dying per day which is 1 in 7 deaths
on the planet. About 15% of the COVID-19 deaths occurring around the world are
in Russia. It is now proven that vodka is not an effective pretreatment for
coronavirus.
The 7-day MA for world deaths needs to roll back over to the
downside and take out those green support lines to prove that the pandemic is
ending. Until then, the never-ending pandemic continues.
Russia’s daily cases and deaths charts are shown above to
back-up the finger wagging and bad-mouthing. Sit down for the numbers because
if they make you faint the sofa will soften your slump. Russia reports 40K daily new cases per day for
the last 2 days the highest ever. The 7-day MA is at 38K cases per day and
going parabolic. The Ruskies do not trust the vaccines especially anything
manufactured in Russia such as the Sputnik V vaccine.
Russia hospitals are likely overrun, zipping corpses into
body bags, but Covid Vlad controls the news and media messaging as he watches his
people die face down in their borsht. Russia reports 1,159 deaths yesterday and
1,163 for Thursday, the deadliest days ever. The 7-day MA for Russia’s deaths
is at 1,110 souls per day ramping higher into a parabolic phase. It is
disastrous. It is a sad state of affairs as Covid Vlad infects other nations with
disease and death prolonging the worldwide misery.
The UK daily cases chart is shown above. Prime Minister
Boris Johnson continues resisting imposing strict covid measures on the
population despite the rise in cases for wave 5. He is a gambling man that
likes to roll the covid dice and he may come up a winner again. The 7-day MA
for UK daily new cases has peaked and is moving back down (blue arrow). This is
a positive development that needs to continue.
The UK alpha and delta waves are shown on the UK chart. The
delta wave displays its characteristic inverted (upside-down) V pattern. In the
US, many delta wave inverted V patterns were truncated on the back side as
schools reopened and infections increased. The UK joy of wave 4 ending, however,
turns to fear as wave 5 begins. The relaxing of covid restrictions and Brit’s
trying to return to their normal lives creates the rise in cases. The 7-day MA
is at 41K daily new cases per day for the UK and moving lower a positive
development.
Much of the current spread in the UK is also due to the
lower vaccination rates with young people but, like the US, they are the ones
out and about having fun and partying, hugging, kissing and high-fiving one
another, and being young people. COVID-19 likes people that like to have fun. The
week ahead will dictate if the United Kingdom remains on the right path of
lower cases, or not. 263 Brit’s croaked last Tuesday the deadliest day since
the first days of March; 8 months ago.
Ukraine’s daily cases chart is shown above. Russia infected
Ukraine that is now in a parabolic phase with record new cases occurring.
Ukraine reports 27K daily new cases yesterday the most ever. The 7-day MA for
Ukraine daily cases is at 22K per day spiking higher. 734 Ukrainians perish
from China Flu last Tuesday the deadliest day ever.
Germany’s daily cases chart is shown above. Russia’s
infection stink travels westward sickening western Asian nations and eastern
European countries and the disease spreads into central Europe bringing Germany
to its knees. Chancellor Merkel should be glad she is retiring.
Germany reports 24K daily new cases yesterday with the 7-day
MA at 17.4K cases per day going parabolic. The Deutschland is teasing case
levels not seen since the December 2020 and April 2021 prior peaks. 146 Germans
die last Wednesday the most in 5 months. Oktoberfest is canceled due to the COVID-19
outbreak but that does not stop the party. Lederhosen is optional. The ladies and
girls look wunderbar in their beautiful dirndl dresses. In Heaven There Is NoBeer.
Europe is a mess everywhere you look. Netherlands, Czechia
and Germany are sick and Austria reports a huge spike in cases. Poland and
Hungary are in trouble. Many of these countries went to Hell in a covid handbag
over the last week or two. The outbreaks are harsh and fast hopefully not
indicative of a new variant. It is a surprising quick return of ugly across
Europe, western Asia and dirtbag Russia. Ireland infections are rising
substantively likely becoming infected from the UK.
The news is better in the United States although many
doctors, nurses and scientists are walking on covid eggshells hoping the colder
weather, when humans flock indoors, will not create another wave of infections.
There is still a lot of hope going on despite the pandemic 20 months along.
COVID-19, likely released from one of the nefarious Wuhan
Laboratories, and the CCP refusing to tell the world how many labs were
operating since they are tied into the military’s bioweapons program, continues
wreaking havoc around the world. It is China’s (CCP) crime against humanity.
The US daily new cases chart is shown above with the wave 5,
the delta wave, subsiding. The US reports 80.5K daily new cases yesterday which
is an elevated number but, as Monty Python sings, you always have to look onthe bright side of life, and it is key that the cases did not exceed Thursday’s
85K cases. Friday is typically the highest case numbers of the week so it is
another plus that the number remains somewhat in check.
The 7-day MA trend line (not shown but you can see it on the
Worldometer site), is at 70.2K daily new cases per day still moving lower, which
is great, but the route lower is starting to flatten hinting that the cases may
start to base sideways (not good). The 3-day MA is shown in the chart above and
currently at 81.2K cases (blue circle).
The 3-day MA came down and made another lower low, which is
fantastic, and now moves higher and needs to print a lower high to maintain the
downtrend. The prior high in the 3-day MA is 85K so that is the magic number.
Check this chart (blue circle) over the next couple days. If the 3-day peaks
now and drops, printing another lower high, all is right with the world and the
US downtrend in cases is verified to continue.
If, however, the 3-day MA prints a higher high above 85K
today or tomorrow, cases will go into a sideways pattern potentially setting up
the doom and gloom cold weather scenario in America. Keep an eye on it. You are
temporarily deputized as a chart technician but realize that you now only know
enough about charting to become dangerous with it.
If you were in Charting 401 class, you see that yesterday’s
cases are at 81K and the peak was 85K the day before, and 78K the day before
that. Thus, a 3-day moving average (MA) adds the 3 and divides by 3 which
verifies the 81K reported for the 3-day MA. Today’s (Saturday) cases should be
lower so the US should remain in good shape with the trend lower continuing
albeit at a slower pace.
The US active cases chart is shown above. This is the
“flatten the curve” chart which has flattened and rolled over to the downside
to continue forming the coveted bell shape. The positive direction continues
for the US. The red dashed line, however, shows the potential outcome if the
cold weather creates more infections as people seek the heat and warmth
indoors.
The US deaths chart is shown above. It is disturbing to see
the deaths remain elevated since huge numbers of lives could be saved with
monoclonal antibody mAb treatments as well as other treatments and therapies.
President Biden is a one-trick pony with blinders on cheerleading vaccines as
the only way out of the pandemic. It is a narrow-minded approach resulting in
increased hospitalizations and deaths in the near term. It is as if the sicko’s
want unvaccinated people to die to prove the point of getting vaccinated.
The US reports 1.6K deaths yesterday another high number. It
is ridiculous to see these people die due to inept US leadership. That’s the
way it goes. Sadly, America’s leadership changes hands from King Donnie, the
inept orange-headed bloviating carnival clown, to Sleepy Joe, the incompetent
gingerly-stepping confused Alzheimer’s patient. It is Our Destiny.
The 7-day MA keeps moving lower at 1.2K US deaths per day.
Hopefully, the deaths can go sub 1K in the near future. There’s that word hope
again after 20 months of the China Flu.
Vermont’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The daily cases are trying to top out and the 3-day MA and 7-day MA trend lines are moving sideways. The worst may be over but Vermont has to remain vigilant and keep fighting for a couple more weeks. The Beach Boys are blamed for saying, "Vermont's a rotten state," in "Kokomo," but the lyrics were misheard, they were singing, "Martinique, the Montserrat mystique."
The republican media (Fox News, Newsmax,
OANN, Breitbart, AM talk radio, New York Post) are capitalizing on the rising
cases in the highly-vaccinated northeastern states pushing back against the
democrat media (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, PBS, New York Times, Washington
Post) that lambasted the republicans for the trouble in the less-vaccinated
southern states a couple months ago. Turnabout is fair play.

news spewed by the corrupt republican and democrat tribes. An article from last
year in front of the presidential election explains the media and which news

It is interesting to see in that link that NASCAR fans skew
republican and that is where the “Let’s Go Brandon” meme was born. Conversely,
Hollywood actors are mainly liberal cheerleaders as is verified by their
regular appearances on the democrat-run media outlets such as CNN.
If the vaccinations were such a panacea, the northeastern
states would not be the current US hotspot. The glaring problem with the
vaccines is that the efficacy falls off a cliff at 6 months. Israel does not
consider a person vaccinated if 6 months beyond the initial shots. The trouble
in Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire proves this point.
Many folks, since they lean liberal in the northeastern
states, democrat by nature, ran to get vaccinated early this year to cheerlead
and promote Biden’s agenda. The waning vaccine efficacy is likely what is
spanking the northeastern states currently.
A person vaccinated with the J&J shot, that used to be
“one and done,” has next to no protection 6 months out. Just think of the millions
of Americans walking around thinking they are protected from the pandemic when
in fact the mRNA recipients may only have 20% to 60% efficacy if 6 months out
from the shots and the J&J recipients may be from nil to 50% protected. Comically,
the television pundits continue blaming the unvaccinated for everything. The
vaccinated folks have been spreading virus ever since they shed their masks in
May listening to the CDC’s directive.
221 million Americans, 67% of the 330 million US population,are vaccinated with at least one shot. That is great; over two-thirds of the
country. 192 million folks, 58%, are fully vaccinated. 206 million people over
18 years old, 80%, are vaccinated with at least one dose. This was President
Biden’s goal of 70% that he missed by about one month but now the tally is 10
percentage-points above the goal number. Amazingly, 97% of the people 65 years
and older are vaccinated with at least one dose. Lots of folks apparently
believe that their life is worth living.
17 million Americans have received the booster dose. The CDC
continues defining fully vaccinated as two shots of the Pfizer/BioNTech or
Moderna vaccines, or one shot of the J&J, and the booster shot is the
additional doses. The chart shows that less than 30K young folks under 18 years
old have received the booster shot. The 17 million booster shots are mainly
split among those 18 years old and older.
About 3 million Americans between 18 and 50 years old have
received boosters, about 4 million between 50 and 65 years old, and 10.3
million over 65. Over twice the number of boosters is given to the folks 65
years old and older than the rest of the population. The old folks are at the
doctor’s office a couple times per week
lining-up to take as many vaccines as they can dish-out. Nowadays, the doc’s are
shooting folks with the pneumonia vaccine, shingles shots, yearly flu vaccines as
well as COVID-19 booster shots, turning
American arses into pincushions.
The US vaccination rate pops slightly to about 775K shotsper day based on the 7-day average and the CDC data is always a few days slow
to update. Employees are told to kneel before their bosses, roll up their
sleeves, take the shots, then lick the boss’s shoes, then return to work. America is lost.
Last Monday, 10/25/21, vaccinations hit 1.3 million shots in
arms the most since early June. It is a shame that the vaccinations are forced
down American throats. The long-term negative impact from the vaccine mandate
stupidity will far outweigh any nearer term benefit in holding the pandemic at
bay.
Loyal workers now hate their employers. Coworkers now
dislike each other separating into vaccinated and unvaccinated groups. Sabotage
and mischief will increase. When you screw someone, you better make sure you
are ready to be screwed back, and some people will screw you back as long as
you live for crossing them. The vaccine mandate garbage implemented by
President Biden will damage the country for many years forward. Perhaps that is
the plan?
The vaccine mandate deadline occurs in New York City for
firefighters, medics and police officers so the weekend and Monday will be high
drama in the Big Apple. Chicago has the same problem losing much-needed workers
due to a stupid vaccine mandate edict by lightweight Mayor Lightfoot saying it
is all under control. It is the height of idiocy to force-out dedicated
employees simply because they do not want shot with a vaccine not even in use
for a year. On top of that, many had COVID-19 and have natural immunities.
It is comical for the democrat-run media to start running
stories on how the vaccine immunity would be superior to natural immunity. Pay
attention this week and learn about media manipulation. Use your common sense.
If you were deathly ill from coronavirus and recovered and now in excellent
health, do you actually think a vaccination is going to protect you better than
your natural antibodies that have already proven that they can do the job and
will only be stronger if you become sick again? Use your head.
The vaccine mandate turmoil becomes uglier each day. If
people do not want vaccinated, leave them alone. Firing people from their jobs,
denigrating them, ruining their pensions, taking away benefits and purposely
hurting their families is sick behavior. Are you one of the sicko’s?
Actor Ice Cube is out as a star in the upcoming Sony comedy
movie, “Oh Hell No.” Mister Cube refuses to abide by the vaccine mandate rules
decreed by Hollywood. Ice Cube walks away from a $9 million payday but he has
millions so you do not have to worry about taking-up a collection for the
rapper turned actor. The movie producers are figuring out a new path forward.
The FDA issues an emergency use authorization (EUA) for
giving the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to children from 5 to 11 years old. The CDC
advisory panel meets on Tuesday to take-up the FDA recommendation and open the
door to shots in arms that can begin for the youngsters on Wednesday. Kids
cringe but are promised candy and ice cream if they can be a strong boy or
girl.
Many parents remain skeptical of the childhood vaccines
since the chances of illness and death in kids is remote. Two-thirds of the
small number of kids that died under 18 years old had comorbidities and the
other one-third were obese. Myocarditis remains a concern especially for teen
boys taking a vaccine. Scientists are thinking that testosterone may play a
role in the rare myocarditis issue since it hits the 16 to 17 year old boys the
hardest and the general group of young men from 16 to 25.
US hospital admissions continue moving nicely lower for all
age groups after peaking in September. If you select HHS Regions 1 and 2 on the
CDC website, the admissions are flat or lower even for the northeastern US
states currently under siege. Admissions are elevated in New Hampshire and
Maine and choppy in Vermont.
US hospitalizations also continue nicely lower for the last
2 months. HHS Regions 1 and 2, which are the northeastern US states, show declines
in hospitalizations. New Hampshire shows elevated hospitalizations but may be
peaking now. Ditto Maine. Vermont may be the last state in the country to turn
the corner on the delta wave as its hospitalizations remain elevated.
All in all, things are brighter for the overworked and
underappreciated healthcare workers and hospital employees as caseloads drop. Last
year these folks were heroes working without being vaccinated but this year, if
anyone refuses the shots, they are filthy garbage that needs tossed into the
street. Such is America.
Over the last 2 months, US hospitalizations fall from 95K at
the peak to 44K currently, which is data that is a few days old because it is
CDC data. Thus, America is at less than one-half the hospitalizations from 8
weeks ago.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 46.8 million. India is next with 34.3 million total virus cases.
Brazil, UK, Russia, Turkey, France, Iran, Argentina, and Spain round out the
top ten ugly list.
COVID-19 has infected 247 million people worldwide. OVER 5
MILLION PEOPLE ARE DEAD FROM CORONAVIRUS as the chart above shows. It is a
jaw-dropping number and time to say a prayer for humanity.
224 million global citizens have recovered from China Flu. 91%
(224/247) of the people that become infected with COVID-19 recover in a
reasonable time frame. This percentage has been at 90% to 92% for many months.
About 10% of the people that contract coronavirus have lingering health effects
such as long-covid or die.
The words ‘long covid’, ‘breakthrough’, ‘super-spreader’ and
‘vaccine passport’ are added to the Merriam-Webster’s new dictionary. As a side
note, the Coronavirus Chronology uses a hyphen for ‘long-covid’ and writes ‘superspreader’
as one word but to each his own.
Worldwide, 2.0% (5/247) of the people that are infected with
covid die. This number has sat at 2.1%-2.2% for many months and may finally be
breaking down lower (a good thing). 1 in every 49 people that are infected with
the Wuhan Virus around the world will die. The 2.0% has held for 3 weeks
running which is fantastic news that the deaths are dropping albeit slowly.
Doctors and nurses around the world are becoming more knowledgeable at treating
COVID-19.
3.2% (247/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 32 people on earth. The Wuhan
Virus has negatively impacted everyone on the planet. 0.07% of the world’s
population (5/7670) die from the pandemic; 1 in every 1,534 people.
In the United States, 46.8 million people are infected with covid.
766K Americans are dead as per the Worldometer data. Johns-Hopkins is at 745Kdead Americans. The CDC COVID Data Tracker is at 742K deaths. The IHME data isat 738K dead.
36.6 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus. This
equates to 78% (36.6/46.8) of US citizens recovering after becoming infected
with COVID-19. The recovery percentage has been between 76% and 84% over the
last few months. Vaccines have not improved the recovery percentage. America’s
rampant obesity problem has greatly added to deaths and hospitalizations. If
you are overweight or obese, and unvaccinated, call your doctor.
In the US, 1.6% (766/46800) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. This number is sticky at 1.6% to 1.8% for many months. 1 in every 61 US
citizens that are infected with coronavirus die. 0.23% (766/330000) of
Americans have died from COVID-19 which is 1 in every 431 Americans.
Vaccinations have not improved the death percentages.
The death rate is at 2.0% globally which is higher than the
US at 1.6% reflecting the better health care in America. Poorer nations are at
a disadvantage. Without refrigeration, folks must visit crowded markets many
times during the week to buy meat, fish and other foods exposing themselves to
potential infections.
14.2% (46.8/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid. 1 in every 7 Americans have been stricken
with coronavirus. The minority communities are impacted disproportionately. The
14% solidly contributes towards herd immunity and the number is likely far
larger by the CDC’s own admission, providing natural antibody protection.
The United States has 19% (46.8/247) of the COVID-19 cases
in the world. 1 in 5 people (5.3 to be exact which is 2 in 11) that become
infected with covid on planet earth are Americans. The US vaccination program
made an impact month’s ago, but not so much in recent weeks and months. This
percentage was 22% about 7 months ago so the drop is great news for the US but
bad news for other nations since their infection numbers are higher.
The US accounts for 15.3% (766/5000) of the China Flu deaths
in the world. 1 in 7 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are Americans.
7 months ago, it was 1 in 5. The numbers are going in the right direction for
the US but the improvement is stalling over the last 3 months.
Shamefully, the US and Russia account for one-third of the
ongoing daily covid deaths in the world. About 7K earthlings are kicking the
bucket each day from coronavirus. Over 1K are Russians and over 1.2K are
Americans dying each day the two nations accounting for over 2.2K of the 7K
daily world deaths.
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart curves will flatten-out and roll-over lower. The active cases chart
is the ‘flatten the curve’ chart that represents the maximum stress and strain on
the medical system and healthcare workers. Once the active cases chart rolls
over forming the bell shape, the virus is being defeated and healthcare workers
can breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the daily new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For communist nations where
the populations must do what they are told or they receive a bullet in their
heads (China), and for smaller authoritarian nations (Eastern European
countries, Africa and Middle East nations), and many Asian nations where
citizens follow government rules without questioning authority (South Korea,
Japan, Singapore, Australia), the active cases curve will peak, on average, 11
days after the peak in daily new cases.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases. It takes about 2 weeks longer for
a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or authoritarian
state because lockdowns are not strictly enforced.
All projections below for countries and the US states
continue to use the 11 and 28-day periods for forecasting for consistency. When
the peak in daily new cases occurs, if a subsequent day is within 8% of that
peak top, it is identified as the peak in daily new cases day.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily seen on the bar
charts provided by Worldometer, the CDC and Johns-Hopkins. The daily new cases
bar charts are shown on television news channels with a 7-day moving average
(MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that identifies the trend.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes, actually 11 days this time, and more data and information

highlighted below with the worst nations at the bottom. The peaks in daily new
cases are shown and the projected peaks for active cases are based on the
Keystone Model. The peak and flattening of the active cases curves are
extremely important since it represents the maximum stress on healthcare
workers and the medical systems.
It will take longer for the active cases charts to roll over
to form the bell shape for those troubled nations at the bottom of the list
(they are still experiencing highs and peaks in their daily new cases).
Hospitalizations lag the daily cases by a week or two and deaths lag
hospitalizations by a week or two.

Europe is sick. Italy is not on the list but likely will be next time. France must also remain vigilant since their data hints that trouble may begin. Cooler weather sends people indoors breathing recirculated air.
The nations on the list such as Finland, Slovakia, Ukraine,
Russia, Estonia and others worsen. More eastern European nations are added to
the list such as Germany, Poland, Hungary, Netherlands, Denmark and others.
Moldova reports 46 deaths the most ever. Ireland is worsening. The UK continues
battling its way through the covid war.
Russia spewed their coronavirus filth westward infecting
nearly every nation on the bad list above. Paranoid dictator Covid Vlad is
hiding behind the gold-plated karaoke machine in the basement of one of his
palaces.
Singapore is the worst current Asian nation with case
numbers increasing daily. Vietnam is worsening again and may have to be added back
to the bad list next time. India remains in good shape but there has been a
spike in deaths recently. It may be India catching-up with some data.
Angola, Somalia and Australia are taken off the bad list
since their active cases curves are rolling over to the downside.
Bolivia is concerning. South America has been quiet in
recent months. Colombia was a disaster but it has greatly improved.
Unfortunately, Colombia crosses the 5 million total cases milestone.
Clearly, the global hot zone remains eastern, and now
central, Europe, and western Asia including Russia. The nations listed above
are struggling mightily to get a handle on the virus.
The next list shows the US states struggling with
coronavirus with the worst states listed at the bottom. The peak in daily new
cases and projections for the peaks in active cases are provided as per the
Keystone Model. The flattening and roll over of the active cases curve forming
the bell shape indicates the virus is being defeated and the caseload on
healthcare workers will quickly improve.

The northeastern states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine are the US trouble spots despite the high vaccination rates. As highlighted above, lots of folks likely got vaccinated early in the year and the waning efficacy now sends many to the hospital with COVID-19. New Hampshire is not on the list above as it tries to roll over its active cases curve in a choppy environment.
Maine healthcare workers lose a battle in the courts
claiming a religious exemption from the vaccine mandates. Religion be damned in
today’s world. Kneel and pay respect to your leader, your employer, by rolling
up your sleeve and taking the shot.
Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Montana are taken off the bad
list as their active cases charts roll over to the downside but they must be
watched nonetheless.
There are 18 states remaining on the bad list above and the
case can be made that 5 or so are in good enough shape to disappear next time
so there are about a dozen US states that remain trouble spots. Louisiana and
Alabama should disappear from the bad list next time but the lingering active
cases may hint that there are more long-covid cases occurring in the southern
states.
All 50 states had active cases curves heading higher about 7
weeks ago so you have to be thankful that we are down to about a dozen states remaining.
On the economic front, the West Coast ports remain severely
backlogged. The Long Beach ports have a backlog of 170 container ships. It is
unreal. It’s a good thing that Keystone ordered fruitcakes from Asia for
Christmas gifts since the shelf life is at least a few years. Last year
Keystone received a fruitcake as a gift but it was the same fruitcake he gave
to the person 2 years ago.
The trucker shortage remains in play as well as staffing
shortages at the docks. Inflation is occurring because ‘too much money is
chasing too few goods’. Inflation manifests as higher prices which are felt by
the consumer. Gasoline prices are rising and especially hurt poorer people
trying to limp their puttymobile to work and back home each day.
The holidays should not be as gloomy as predicted.
Thanksgiving remains 3-1/2 weeks away. People are too spoiled nowadays America
is highly populated with adult babies. When you grow up poor, you never expect
anything. If you live the good life, you are unhappy that your materialistic
joy is ruined for any reason. If some gift items do not arrive in time for
Christmas, and you are disappointed, Keystone will tell you, “You’ll getnothing, and like it!”
Nurse Goodbody wants Keystone to get vaccinated. He was
about to accept a jab into his left buttock cheek, and even got a new tattoo to
make the smart and pretty nurse laugh as she did the deed, however, the
confusing messaging from the Whitehouse, CDC and other medical talking heads
has him remaining in the vaccine hesitant camp. Keystone is ambidextrous and
cannot go a day with a sore arm so it was agreed, after consultation with Dr
Ben Dover, that he could receive the shots in his buttocks.
The first shot was planned for the left cheek. The second
shot would go into the right buttock cheek but Keystone remains concerned about
where Nurse Goodbody plans on putting the booster. She is providing three
incentives to lure Keystone to a vaccination that would complete his summer
wardrobe; sandals, red Speedo’s and a short robe. However, Nurse Goodbody no
longer permits Keystone to walk through the waiting room in this attire after
the incident last summer. Mrs Hawthorne said she still cannot erase that
horrible image from her mind.
Keystone was thinking about trick or treating in a Dr Fauci costume
but Nurse Goodbody said that is too frightening a sight for the children and
adults, and dogs. Keystone gives Nurse Goodbody a nurse’s outfit he purchased at the
Halloween store that opened in the old warehouse building next to the highway
exit. She was excited but after seeing the skimpy costume said such a revealing
outfit would not be appropriate in public. Keystone agrees but says she can
feel free to wear it around here if she likes. Nurse Goodbody storms away but
she never stays mad for long. She took the nurses costume with her.
The CDC, NIH, US government and others should be taking
advantage of the current pandemic misery in planning for the next pandemic. The
CDC used its county map to suggest mask use indoors if in a substantial or high
transmission area shown as orange and red on the map, respectively. Future
guidelines should be given on a county basis since statewide edicts are too
onerous on the public.
The CDC should keep training people to reference the US countymap on the CDC COVID Data Tracker site because it would be a very useful tool
in communicating specific guidelines for a future pandemic. The time to train
people is now, in advance, not when all the virus sh*t is hitting the fan flying
all over the place.
Recapping, the United States is in good shape and continuing
to defeat wave 5, the delta wave. Watch the 3-day MA for US daily new cases as
explained above. Check the Worldometer site the next couple days to see if the 3-day
moving average makes a lower high (wanted) or higher high (do not want since it
signals that the daily cases will be going into a sideways pattern).

Note Added Sunday Morning, 10/31/21, Halloween, at 5:00 AM EST: Rejoice. The 3-day MA for US daily new cases prints a lower high and drops to 64K cases per day maintaining the downward trend in cases. Next, watch the 3-day MA to make sure it prints a lower low to maintain the downtrend in cases. The US reports 27K daily new cases yesterday a nice low number but it is a Saturday number. Today's cases should be sub 27K. The 7-day MA for daily cases is down to 65K cases per day taking a substantive dip lower after there were fears that the critical moving average trend line would start to line-out sideways. Fortunately, it remains all systems go for the United States in defeating wave 5, the delta wave. The US charts look good and conditions should improve substantially going forward. One nitpicking area is New York. Who knows if it is protests due to the stupid vaccine mandates or other reasons but New York is seeing a bump higher in infections. New York reports 5.3K daily new cases on Friday its last data point which represents a couple-week high. Governor Hochul and Mayor de Blazio, emphasis on the 'blah', need to focus more on handling the pandemic instead of screwing, what once were, loyal employees with the demeaning vaccine mandate decrees. New York needs to tell people to be careful, otherwise, the Big Apple is going to go rotten with another outbreak.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 10/31/21, Halloween, at 6:00 AM EST: American Airlines cancels over 1,000 flights this weekend citing weather concerns and staff shortages. Yeah, sure. Employees are pushing back against vaccine mandates so the public will pay the price experiencing travel hassles. When you screw people, they screw you back. Ditch the vaccine mandate garbage and let workers work. American Airlines already announces 300 flight cancellations for today. The New York Fire Department (NYFD) workers are calling in sick creating staffing shortages. Management says it is under control but in the next breath accuses the firefighters of shirking their oath by not working. Hey jackasses, it is your vaccine mandate trash that creates the problem. 72% of the NYFD are vaccinated and 84% of the NYPD (police officers). There are 10's of thousands of New York employees not wanting to get vaccinated and many that are vaccinated support these folks and will call in sick or help create disruptions. One side or the other is probably going to flinch in the week ahead. Will it be the vaccine mandate zealots or the anti vaccine mandate pro-choice folks that are losing their jobs (many are pro vaccine but anti mandate)? The conditions (crime, fire, police, etc...) in New York City will be a major media focus to start the week. The US Air Force is 96% vaccinated but 12K face disciplinary or dismissal. Pro-vaccine zealots are quick to decree that 4% remaining is not a big deal but understand that the vaccine mandates are chasing away the experienced people and many are needed to help train and develop young folks. That 4% reflects some of the brightest and most talented and needed personnel in the Air Force. Be careful what you wish for; there are always unintended consequences. Did all of you forget the story of the magic lamp that grants wishes? Keep in mind that despite all the vaccine mandates imposed on the huddled masses, all the little unwashed peons, the edicts do not apply to Congress where the politicians can make the choice of getting vaccinated, or not. There are two sets of rules in America the land of the have's and have not's. The politicians are royalty that do not have to follow their own draconian edicts.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 10/31/21, Halloween, at 6:30 AM EST: President Biden is in Europe meeting with G20 leaders (the top 20 leaders in the world although several blew the summit off and only appear remotely like Covid Vlad hiding in the basement of one of his palaces). Leaders will fly to Scotland for climate meetings as if the idiots think they can control Mother Nature. The G20 sets a goal to vaccinate 70% of the world with at least one shot by mid-2022; within about 8 months. As they say in Brooklyn, "Good luck wit dat." The WHO says the poor nations are only receiving 4 doses of vaccine per 100 people and predict that the pandemic will continue at least one year longer due to the lack of shots in undeveloped nations. In the developed world, on average, 70% of the population has at least one dose. In the undeveloped world, 3% of the population has at least one dose. Italy Prime Minister Mario Draghi, "Super Mario," as he is known in financial circles from his heading the ECB (European Central Bank), proclaims that the low vaccination rate in poor nations is "morally unacceptable and undermines the global economy." Draghi decrees, "The pandemic is not over." Interestingly, the rise in world cases over the last couple weeks is not due to the poor nations of Africa but instead it is the stink from Russia that proudly boasted Sputnik V as the first vaccine last year. Humorously, the "V" stands for victory but everyone views it as a Roman Numeral and calls the vaccine, "Sputnik 5." Central and eastern European and western Asian countries are a mess right now and these nations have access to vaccines. A lot of poorer nations likely have populations that have high levels of natural immunity since the pandemic ripped through the world at breakneck speed over the last 1-1/2 years.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 10/31/21, Halloween, at 7:30 AM EST: Speaking of Russia, the troubled nation reports over 40K daily new cases yesterday the highest ever. 1,160 Russians die yesterday not even the vodka can save them at this point. Ukraine reports over 26K daily new cases another day at record levels. Poland quickly approaches 10K cases per day as the new wave of infections goes parabolic (vertical).
Note Added Sunday Morning, 10/31/21, Halloween, at 9:30 AM EST: News reports say 26 firehouses are closed in New York City due to staff shortages created by the sick vaccine mandate. Mayor de Blasio is clenching his buttocks, puckering, because he fears a bad fire and rampant crime occurring with people dying and that blood will be on his hands over a stupid vaccine mandate. Let the festivities begin. The vaccine mandate zealots are pushing the nation to the breaking point. New York City is walking on covid eggshells. Citizens are anxious and will become fearful as darkness descends this evening. Criminals are busy buying black clothes and ski masks and polishing their knives and burglary tools waiting for the mass layoffs of police officers that do not want vaccinated.
Note Added Sunday Afternoon, 10/31/21, Halloween: Rock star Jon Bon Jovi tests positive for COVID-19 cancelling the Miami gig and on the sidelines for a few days. He was double vaccinated so it is another breakthrough case. A spokesman says the 59 year old is feeling fine. Bon Jovi will be "Livin' On A Prayer" for a few days as he battles coronavirus. American Airlines cancels another 400 flights today for 700 total cancellations continuing to blame the weather. That's funny. It is a crisp sunny day excellent for flying. Stranded passengers become angrier by the minute. A Southwest Airlines pilot is under investigation for saying, "Let's Go Brandon," over the airplane's intercom (an euphonism for "F&%# Joe Biden"). These societal issues are occurring because of the stupid vaccine mandate garbage. Biden's approval ratings keep tanking down into the mid 30% to low 40% range. Sleepy Joe promised to handle the pandemic but nearly a year later it is same-o, same-o. King Biden promised to not impose vaccine mandates but that was a lie.
Note Added Sunday Early Evening, 10/31/21, Halloween, at 5:45 PM EST: Dit... dit... dit... Big news. Whitehouse spokesperson Jen Psaki tests positive for COVID-19. The Whitehouse may turn into an infected covid nest like the days of King Donnie. Psaki is vaccinated so the infection is another breakthrough case. She says her last contact with President Biden was on Tuesday but they were outside, masked and socially distant. She was supposed to accompany the president on the foreign trip but cited a family emergency and bowed out. Coronavirus infections among the family members is the emergency. Psaki says she tested negative each day until today when a positive test occurs. She will quarantine for 10 days after the first negative test as per Whitehouse protocol. Maybe she needs to 'circle-back' and receive the monoclonal antibody treatment, she probably already has, that she routinely ignores or denigrates while promoting vaccines that failed her. Psaki says she is discussing this information to be transparent about what is going on. Open your eyes to the liar. If she was transparent, she would have told America what was going on last Wednesday not Sunday night when no one is paying attention. It is hollow words the same as when a politician says they are "taking responsibility" which means nothing. Back in the 1960's and 1970's that was a serious statement and meant that you would resign in shame. Nowadays, people in power embrace disgrace, dishonor, shame and scandal as if it is an old lost friend. Biden has received the booster shot so it does not appear that he is in any danger from a potential infection from Psaki. Humorously, maybe HCQ or ivermectin will aid her recovery. It is likely guaranteed that she will not disclose if she received mAb treatment and the liberal press corp will never ask the question. Take the mAb treatment Jen so you can recover quickly.
Note Added Monday Morning, 11/1/21, at 5:00 AM EST: The US reports only 20K daily new cases for Sunday a great number but confetti cannot be thrown until each day is below 10K cases. The 3-day MA trend line of US daily new cases prints a lower low continuing to confirm the ongoing downtrend in cases. However, there is always another snake in the woodpile. The US active cases curve, shown above, that needs to form the bell shape, is at 9.341 million active cases on Saturday and 9.342 million on Sunday. Say it isn't so. The active cases need to drop to prove that the pandemic is on the ropes but the active cases is hinting at a sideways move. Fortunately, the daily cases continue to drop for 2 months running so the expectation is that the US active cases curve will resume the downside. The chart is important and must be watched daily. The American Airlines mess is a stain on the carrier. About 15 hundred flights were cancelled on the Halloween weekend and issues remain this morning. Vaccine mandates create travel mayhem. Do you want some more? American Airlines is using the same excuse as Southwest Airlines a couple weeks ago saying that its main hub fell behind with flights and it created a cascading effect through the system with crews stranded in the wrong cities. Pause for laughter. The problems at the airlines creating the travel mayhem are due to the vaccine mandates. When you screw people, they screw you back. The shame of it is that even when normalcy returns some day, employees that once respected their employer and enjoyed working at the company, now hate the place and hate their boss for forcing them to inject their bodies with a vaccine not even in public use for a year.
Note Added Monday Morning, 11/1/21, at 5:30 AM EST: It is another day so Russia reports another record high daily cases now approaching 41K per day. Ruskie deaths topped 1K on 10/19/21, two weeks ago, and never looked back, now at 1,160 deaths per day, on average, the last few days. The Russian people must be having a tough go but the state-run media will not permit the world to witness the misery. Covid Vlad is hiding behind the gold-plated popcorn machine in the theater room of one of his palaces. The UK reports 38K daily new cases so the island nation may be able to dodge a bullet if the cases continue to trend lower off the 10/21/21 high. A study in the UK is jaw-dropping. Currently, in the UK, for people 30 years old and older, the rate of infection is higher in vaccinated people than unvaccinated. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Researchers say the Delta variant transmits easily from vaccinated folks to their family, roommates or household contacts although less so if these individuals are vaccinated. The Lancet journal releases a similar study. The tiny Polynesian islands of Tonga report their first COVID-19 infection of the pandemic. A New Zealander was fully vaccinated and presented negative tests before the trip but then tested positive on the main island.
Note Added Monday Morning, 11/1/21, at 9:00 AM EST: New York City is in focus this morning due to the vaccine mandates. The city employees must be vaccinated to maintain their jobs but only 80% of the NYFD (fire) and 84% of the NYPD (police) took the shots. Some firefighters stepped-up for the shots on the weekend but the police officers are standing pat. 26,000 New York City employees remain unvaccinated about 1 in 6 workers. This sets-up a confrontation today between city employees and Mayor de Blasio. 26 fire stations are shut down due to staffing shortages. What is in store for the Big Apple today? The garbage is piling up so the New York stink is worse than usual. The Johns-Hopkins data for COVID-19 global deaths tops 5 million and the mainstream media is starting to run the headline. The Worldometer data is at 5.02 million dead earthlings succumbing to coronavirus. New Jersey University Hospital tells 270 employees that received the J&J vaccine to get down on their knees and receive a booster shot. The "one and done" J&J mantra is officially flushed down the toilet. It is sickening to see employers dictating medical decisions and edicts to workers in a faux free country. America slips away each day. American Airlines has cancelled 2,000 flights and is now cancelling and altering its future schedule. Obviously, the vaccine mandate garbage is causing big disruptions. Dump the vaccine mandate American Airlines and your problems will go away immediately and travelers can become happy again. The FDA wants more time to review the Moderna vaccine trial information on the 12 to 17 year old's over concern of myocarditis in teen boys. This will slow the approval process of the Moderna vaccine for children and teens.
Note Added Monday Morning, 11/1/21, at 11:00 AM EST: Novavax receives its first vaccine authorization. Indonesia issues emergency approval for the 2-shot Novavax vaccine that can be refrigerated normally for storage. This is key for an island nation where logistics is difficult. The vaccine is made from lab-grown copies of the spike protein, as reported by NBC news, and coats the coronavirus to snuff it out. Novavax wants to be the go-to booster vaccine for the people that are looking to mix and match vaccines. The Novavax vaccine may be useful in inoculating the undeveloped nations. Sanofi's selling point for its vaccine is that it is one-half the cost of the mRNA vaccines. Novavax says it is offering a tiered price structure and plans to provide vaccine to undeveloped nations at a low cost. Novavax is also developing a combinations flu/covid shot for next year. NVAX stock catapults +16% on the news. The wealthy and other insiders that knew the news was coming dance with glee.
Note Added Monday Afternoon, 11/1/21: The vaccine mandate garbage is creating headaches at US prisons. Guards are being fired, while others are retiring, creating dangerous staff shortages. In New York, 2,300 firefighters call in sick taking fire houses off line but the bureau says they have the city covered and services are not impacted. Yeah, sure you do. Some fire houses are asking for community volunteers to help out at the fire stations. A nutcase throws a Molotov cocktail (gasoline poured into a bottle with a rag sticking out that is lit with a lighter; the bottle is thrown and when the glass shatters the gasoline flies everywhere and is ignited by the rag that is on fire) into a New York deli setting the place on fire. The festivities begin. President Biden is in Glasgow, Scotland, for the climate change meetings and he considers the topic so serious that he fell asleep in plain sight. An aid went over to wake him. That is why he is Sleepy Joe; he is asleep at the wheel. There is an ongoing rumor in Europe, and on US republican media sites, that the president sh*t his pants at the Vatican on Friday but the incident is not officially verified. The democrat-run media ignores the rumor. Biden says the vaccine mandates are needed. The new OSHA rule, that will explain the vaccine mandate for companies with over 100 employees, that the president called an emergency that is taking over 2 months to produce, is supposed to be released this week. It will likely be an unconstitutional edict but it does not matter because companies have forged ahead with vaccine mandates, using the proposed OSHA law as cover, performing the president's bidding. If the OSHA law is shot down in the courts, it does not matter since millions of Americans were already forced to kneel before power and take the shot. The ends justify the means in today's sick America. Biden's approval rating keeps slipping away. 71% of Americans believe the country is on the wrong track. Merry Christmas. Whitehouse spokesman Jeff Zients says vaccine doses are available for kids if/when the CDC provides its approval for the 5 to 11 year old's tomorrow. The American Journal of Therapeutics releases an astounding and detailed study on the use of ivermectin in treating COVID-19. It works. The study's conclusion solidifies ivermectin's deserved place in treating coronavirus. The conclusion states; "Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally." The study verifies what countries across Asia, South America and Africa have known over the last year. Folks that do not have access to vaccines are not sitting around waiting to die. They are taking ivermectin, HCQ and using other treatments and therapies, doing whatever they can to beat back the pandemic.

The mid-term elections of Congressional seats is next November 2022 and the presidential election is November 2024. The off-years are mainly local and state-level elections. The Virginia governor race is key since republican Youngkin is neck and neck with democrat McAuliffe and Americans see it as a referendum on republican Donald Trump and how well democrat Joe Biden is performing (not well). Virginia is a blue (democrat) state so it is a big deal if McAuliffe loses. Youngkin plans on removing and revoking vaccine mandates if he wins. The New York City mayoral race is also occurring and democrat Eric Adams will waltz to victory in the blue city. Adams will replace blowhard de Blasio. The US reports 49K daily new cases for yesterday and 550 deaths. New York crosses the 57K deaths grim milestone as the city deals with the vaccine mandate fallout. Germany's daily cases are dropping nicely for the last 3 days after the big spike higher last Wednesday and Thursday. Over 40K Russians are sickened yesterday with the daily case numbers remaining at record levels. 1,155 Russians die on Monday. Much of Southeast Asia is trying to return to normal and renew their tourism industries. Singapore needs to remain vigilant and tell the public to remain careful as cases remain elevated. Flights are cancelled in and out of two airports servicing Beijing. Shanghai Disneyland closes yesterday without warning. China reports over 50 cases yesterday so the numbers remain small but in a zero-covid strategy any case can create catastrophe. Ochsner Health, Louisiana's behemoth healthcare system, that was forcing a vaccine mandate down employee's throats, is shot down by the courts. Ochsner is blocked from implementing the vaccine mandate or any punishments at least for the short term. Score a win for the pro-choice vaccine folks and a loss for the vaccine mandate zealots. Mayor de Blasio makes the rounds on the democrat television news shows bragging about the compliance with the vaccine mandate claiming 92% of city employees are vaccinated. He denies that services are being interrupted. King de Blasio threatens firefighters that have called off sick saying they are faking it decreeing that "the ones who are playing a game, they're going to have to suffer some consequences, because this is unacceptable." De Blasio loves the power trip proclaiming, "Get vaccinated or lose your paycheck." The election today picks a new mayor for New York that may adjust the de Blasio edicts. In the stock market, PFE (Pfizer stock), catapults 5% higher on news of big profits from the mRNA vaccines. BNTX (BioNTech stock) rocket launches 6% higher. America's wealthy class, and politicians that decide which companies win and lose in the rigged crony capitalism system, dance with glee.
Note Added Tuesday Afternoon, 11/2/21, at 5:00 PM EST: The CDC advisory panel votes unanimously to use the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine on the 5 to 11 year old children under the FDA emergency approval authorization. Shots can begin tomorrow. Several hospitals put on a show and inoculate some kids this evening. The Whitehouse says there are vaccine doses distributed around the United States and ready for the youngster's arms. Only 8,300 kids in the 5 to 11 year old age group have been hospitalized with COVID-19 in the last 20 months which is comparable to the flu. About one-third were admitted to the ICU. Only 94 kids died in this age group. Depending on the data source, there are about 700 children and teens under 18 years old that have died from the China Virus. Studies indicate that the deaths occur in children with comorbidities and those that did not have ongoing health issues were obese. If you are a parent of a chubby kid, try to teach them good eating habits while they are young. The KFF data show that about one-half of the 12 to 17 year old's are vaccinated. Most were forced to take the jabs to attend school or university or play sports. 3 in 10 parents say they will not get their teen vaccinated. 3 in 10 parents say they will definitely not get their 5 to 11 year old vaccinated tossing a wet blanket on the CDC decision.

Even though it is a state governor race, it indicates that Americans are not happy with President Biden's performance. 71% believe the country is on the wrong track and that is why the republican (opposite party) wins. Voters ditched King Donnie because they do not want ruled by radical right-wing authoritarianism. Sleepy Joe was elected because he was moderate and would return normalcy to the presidency stopping the Donnie reality television show. Instead, Biden and the democrats go progressive touting climate change, critical race theory and other non-mainstream topics. People are rejecting Biden because they do not want to be ruled by radical left-wing authoritarianism. In 2016, the country believed it was on the wrong track so Trump was elected. After 4 years of the orange-headed carnival clown's antics and overexposure, the country felt it was on the wrong track again, so Biden was elected. Now, the little test case in Virginia last evening shows that the republicans have the upper hand going forward because the majority of the country believe it is on the wrong track once again. People voted for Biden the moderate, mainly to get rid of Trump, and got a radical left-wing dude that may have Alzheimer's. The political drama is important to the pandemic because Youngkin will stop mask and vaccine mandates and other draconian edicts in Virginia. On MSNBC cable television (democrat-run media), anchor Joy Reid, disgruntled about the McAuliffe loss in Virginia, blames racism for the democrat party beat-down in the elections, of course she does, proclaiming, "White parents do not like the idea of teaching about race." It is a filthy disgusting statement only reflecting her own racism. America is not a racist nation. We all know that because our friends, coworkers and families are all shapes, sizes, colors, ethnicities and religions. People like "Joyless" Reid, the Twittersphere gave her the nickname, seek to create division in society and it is always best to ignore negativity. On CNN (democrat media), liberal commentator Van Jones decrees that the Virginia Governor-elect Youngkin may represent "the emergence of the Delta variant of Trumpism," whatever that means. Jones compares the Youngkin win to COVID-19 saying it (republican momentum) will spread everywhere fast unless the democrats adjust their strategies. Highly-respected democrat strategist James Carville says the democrat party lost the majority of elections and referendums yesterday because of "stupid wokeness." Americans are sick of hearing all the racist talk because common citizens do not act or think that way; everyone gets along. Carville says tearing down statues of Abraham Lincoln, the defund the police lunacy, the autonomous zones (squatters taking over a section of a city) and touting other stupid ideas that do not help struggling families, are falling flat with American voters. The majority of Americans want nothing to do with the wokeness garbage.

Several Penguin team members are sick with China Virus and all will be out for 10 days including the head coach. The Penguin's locker room is a covid-infected penguin nest but everyone is vaccinated. CVS stock (CVS Health pharmacies) leaps +6% higher on robust earnings and profits since vaccinations are provided at their store locations. The US government picks another winner and the wealthy elite class dance with glee. Making millions is effortless in the crony capitalism system.
Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 11/3/21: Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, on a climate change vacation in Scotland and double-vaccinated, tests positive for COVID-19, another breakthrough case, and will isolate overseas for a few days. Lord Fauci is touting the vaccinations for children and say the Pfizer/BioNTech shots will be up to "full speed" by Monday. There is plenty of vaccine available for adults but the 5 to 11 year old age group requires a one-third dose. The vaccine will be available to any parent that wants to have their child vaccinated. Many parents remain skeptical of child vaccinations since the deaths are extremely low. After about 2 million infections in the 5 to 11 year old age group over the last 20 months, only about 100 kids died and these youngsters had comorbidities or were obese. Parents must talk to their doctors and healthcare givers to discuss the risk-reward of the childhood vaccinations.

Northern states need to get their acts together and stop the virus spread. 1.4K Americans die yesterday with the 7-day MA down to 1.1K deaths per day. New Mexico is a sneaky trouble spot that appears out of nowhere. Daily cases are increasing in New Mexico, perhaps due to the migrant crisis at the southern border, and this activity creates some of the buoyancy in the overall US numbers. Arizona is also showing similar behavior but Texas appears in good shape. New York continues to battle to push the daily cases lower. Interestingly, migrants entering via the southern border are being sent to New York state and distributed across the southern states. Could the infections appearing in New York, Arizona and New Mexico be due to relocating infected migrants? Also, Navajo Nation encompasses the "4 Corners" which is the touching of the four states Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. The largest portion of Navajo Nation is in Arizona. Yahoo News reports that the virus is spreading in Navajo Nation despite the high vaccination rates. That is a shame since the Native American folks have already been ravaged by coronavirus. Tribal communities in Montana, Wyoming and elsewhere also report increased cases and leaders say unvaccinated populations have infected their communities that are highly-vaccinated. Americans need to stop blaming each other for the outbreaks. COVID-19 is a wicked virus and it infects people; no one should be holding a righteous finger in the air blaming others for their plight. The CDC and FDA should provide more detail on the demarcation line between 11 and 12 year old's with the different vaccine doses. Skinny Jimmy and chubby Lamont are best pals like Skinny and Fatty in the great Japanese film that entertained youngsters on television a few decades ago. Chubby Lamont, bordering on obesity, is 11 years 11 months and 2 weeks old so he receives a one-third dose of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and another one-third dose a month later. Thus, skinny Jimmy, that weighs only one-half of what chubby Lamont weighs, and only 2 weeks apart in birthday's, and skinny not obese, receives 3 times the vaccine that chubby Lamont receives. But, the doctor's say its science. Here is another twist. The CDC is saying to get the dose for the age which says chubby Lamont will probably receive the one-third dose for the first shot and a full dose for the second shot because he would then be 12 years old. Oy vey. This is some science all right. Do you think the pharmacist assistant, that is texting her boyfriend behind the counter at the local CVS pharmacy, is up to speed on these guidelines, as she prepares your child's inoculation? "Doctor Mengele" Fauci, as he is dubbed on Twitter, and CDC Director Walensky, are telling parents of 5 to 11 year old's to get their kids vaccinated even if they had COVID-19. It is weird, and shameful, to see doctors shun the science of natural immunity. Walensky says this directive is based on science saying that 10% of the kids in the trial had received the shots after they previously had COVID-19. The children's study only had 3,000 participants so 10% is only 300 kids. Thus, Fauci and Walensky are telling American parents to get their kids vaccinated even if they had China Flu based on watching only about 300 kids over a few weeks time. Just think of all the ethnicities and body shapes that may be impacted differently but Fauci and Walensky say no problemmo; everything is good to go.

If the vaccine mandates are such an emergency, why is it taking weeks of time to develop the rules? Why will these new rules not be implemented for another 2 months? That's an emergency? The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) says large companies with over 100 employees must have their workforces vaccinated by 1/4/21. This impacts about 84 million workers. A once per week testing option can be provided so employers should simply let workers follow this guideline if they do not want vaccinated. The catch is that all healthcare workers, nursing home workers, and anyone paid under government contracts with Medicare and Medicaid, must be fully vaccinated without a weekly testing option. This impacts about 17 million workers. If you want the government's money, get down on your knees and roll up your sleeves little b*tches. Dance for your dinner. Employers must provide paid time off for a worker to receive the shot. Unvaccinated workers must continue wearing masks and there is concern over who pays for the weekly testing. A fully vaccinated person is defined as receiving 2 shots of the mRNA vaccine (Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna) or the one shot Johnson & Johnson (which is now a 'one shot and not done' vaccine). Humorously, this rule will likely change in a few weeks time and the booster shots will be added; you can see it coming a mile away. Then what do you do with workers that got the first series of shots but balk at the booster shot? Note Added Thursday Morning, 11/4/21, at 10:30 AM EST: Doctor Fauci and Senator Paul, the Kentucky republican, do battle on Capitol Hill at Senate hearings on the COVID-19 pandemic. Paul, a doctor himself, grills the doctor on his involvement with gain of function research at the Wuhan Laboratories and Fauci deflects as usual claiming a nuance in the definition of the term 'gain of function research'. Paul scoffs at the rebuttal because the NIH changed its own definition of gain of function when the funding scandal started to break. Paul says Fauci defends himself claiming that US taxpayer funds were not used for gain of function research because he changed the definition on the website. Paul laughs. Further, the NIH, Fauci's own organization, is admitting to carrying out gain of function research. Paul says Fauci is misleading the public and asks him to take responsibility for gain of function research in Wuhan and resign. Fauci proclaims, "Gain of function is a nebulous term." Lord Fauci tap dances his way around the topic, as usual, the lord of the dance, and Paul is heard laughing out loud off camera. The senator asks for Fauci's resignation saying he is trying to define-away the gain of function scandal. Fauci attempts to rebut Paul's comments and accusations but comes across as a nervous chap trying to keep his story straight. Fauci's complexion is pale and his hands shake slightly displaying a slight nervousness. Paul says in time he will be vindicated as more information exposes the gain of function research funding scandal. Perhaps Fauci is starting to see the writing on the wall. Fauci should have resigned before the pandemic instead, he will be known for the botched COVID-19 pandemic response, the Wuhan Lab scandals and of course, the dead Beagle puppies. Lots of pushback is developing against the OSHA vaccine mandate rules. The National Federation of Retailers, other retailer groups (there is worry about the holiday shopping season), construction groups, business organizations, US Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Manufacturers, unions and some hospitals complain about the draconian vaccine mandates requesting relief from the rules or delays in implementation. OSHA plans to fine businesses $14K per vaccine mandate violation. It is craziness. Covid cases are trending lower, treatments and therapies are increasing and vaccinations are high, so the vaccine mandates are likely doing far more damage to the economy and society than the small benefit that might occur in forcing people to take the shots. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is mad that his unvaccinated status was released to the press. He should be. Note Added Thursday Evening, 11/4/21: Great news from Pfizer announcing that its experimental COVID-19 oral pill reduces hospitalizations and deaths by 89%. It is huge news. Comically, like the Merck pill, it is probably HCQ and ivermectin stuffed into a capsule. The pill works in combination with an HIV drug, that of course Pfizer would also provide. The pharma giant says data will be submitted to the FDA as soon as possible. The UK has approved the Merck and Ridgeback Therapeutics oral pill, molnupiravir, marketed under the name Lagevrio, for emergency use for treating COVID-19. The targeted use for Lagevrio is folks that have tested positive for covid and are either obese, diabetic or a heart disease patient. Molnupiravir reduces the risk of serious illness or death from COVID-19 by 50% so the newly announced Pfizer oral pill offering upstages Merck. PFE stock catapults +11% in late trading and will jump at least this amount tomorrow. The wealthy dance with glee. Too bad one-half of Americans do not own one single share of any stock.

This behavior hints that cases may go into a sideways pattern for a few days which is disappointing. 1.1K Americans die yesterday and the 7-day MA is at 1.1K deaths per day. Oh no. New Mexico reports 1,612 new infections the highest of the current wave and most since early January. New Mexico needs to batten down the hatches. Vermont reports a big 527 daily new cases the most ever for the pandemic. 6 Vermonters die for the deadliest day ever matching only one other day when 6 perished; 12/27/21. The numbers are small compared to other states but a huge deal for Vermont that was touted as the lily clean state, with the high vaccination rate, while those dirty unwashed folks in the South were stinking up the place. Well, what goes around comes around. The southern states continue to recover nicely. Their vaccination rates are better and folks are more educated about the virus. God Bless her for handling some of the toughest work in the nursing profession; you have to have a calling for it. She will be kicked to the curb over the stupid vaccine mandate garbage. Starshine proclaims, "It was okay for us to work throughout the pandemic and it was okay for us to work without the flu vaccine year after year, but suddenly it's not okay for us to work now." Texas republican Senator Cruz files a bill that will prohibit the US government and public schools from mandating vaccines for schoolchildren.

Georgia republican Governor Kemp says, The Biden administration is now forcing hardworking Georgians to choose between their livelihood and the vaccine." Kemp proclaims that the new OSHA rules are "dangerous overreach." 26 states are now suing the Biden administration over the vaccine mandates. The entire pandemic is a political red state (republican) versus blue state (democrat) drama. Alabama republican Governor Kay Ivey, known for her sharp mouth, declares, "The Biden mandates will be challenged in the courts." The fiery Ivey proclaims that we "don't need an overreaching mandate" and "the state of Alabama will not force anyone to take the COVID-19 vaccine." The testing option under the new OSHA rules is receiving more scrutiny. Who pays for the testing? If the employer is screwing the worker with the weekly testing, they should pay but that is not the case for some companies like Delta Airlines that are charging employees for the tests. These worker's will find a way to screw the company back for screwing them out of money. Truckers are getting a free pass from the vaccine mandates. The US government decrees who wins and loses in the crony capitalism system. Labor Secretary Walsh says US truckers are exempt from vaccine mandates because "they're in a cab, they're by themselves, they wouldn't be covered by this (vaccine mandates)." Well, isn't that special. The American Trucking Associations (ATA) is relieved that protests and a walk-out do not occur. Humorously, in the corrupt daily pandemic mess, Walsh ignores the trucker's life of eating at diners and truck stops, fueling-up at gasoline and diesel stations, grabbing munchies at convenience stores, taking showers at public facilities if permitted, and of course inviting Lucy, at mile marker 45, into the cab this evening for giggle time. Truckers seek interaction with others because of their lonely jobs. King Biden lifts and lowers his righteous scepter dictating who shall kneel before him for a vaccination and who shall be allowed to walk free. The blacks and other minorities are underrepresented in many US workplaces. Interestingly, if workers are sh*t-canned over the silly vaccine mandate, proportionally more minorities will be let go. Stupid people never think about unintended consequences. If you are a person of color and lose your job over the stupid vaccine mandate, get an attorney and file an EEOC complaint. The business you work at will likely turn white overnight so a discrimination claim is in order. The attorney's are making out like bandits these days. They are likely the last to cash in as the crony capitalism system crumbles due to human greed (corruption) and non-transparency.
Note Added Friday Evening, 11/5/21: The House passes the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that should have passed 3 months ago since it was a done deal approved by the Senate. Instead, the bill was held up by the radical left-wing of the democrat party, the progressives that are dubbed "the squad," with outspoken mouths like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC). The radical left-wing members of the democrat party are continuing to work for President Biden's Build Back Better plan that provides trillions in social spending but its future is uncertain.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 11/6/21, at 6:00 AM EST: The US reports 85K daily new cases an elevated number but lower than Thursday that settled-out at 89K cases. It is a plus that the 85K is lower since it is a Friday number that is typically the highest of the week. So fingers remain crossed for the end of US wave 5, the delta wave, but the cases are unfortunately starting to base and move sideways. In charting, when data is moving lower and then stalls into a sideways pattern that is called "basing" not "plateauing" as many television commentators and medical pundits erroneously say. Data plateaus or peaks on the way up and then bases or bottoms on the way down. The 7-day MA for US daily new cases (see chart above) stalls into the sideways pattern at 71K cases per day. It's disappointing but may be short-lived since the pop is due to outbreaks in the northern states, mainly northeast, such as Vermont, and the increased cases in the Navajo Nation at the 4 Corners. Thus, after a few days of basing, hopefully, the cases will begin moving lower again. Bummer. The 3-day MA of US daily new cases comes back up but this time prints a higher high. The 3-day MA was at 83K cases per day on 10/29/21, the last high, and now as it comes back up and prints 84K daily new cases for yesterday, 11/5/21. Sadly, the 2-month downtrend of lower lows and lower highs for the 3-day MA of US daily cases, which maintains the overall downtrend, is over, and a sideways pattern begins. The pandemic is getting real old at this point and to see US cases begin lining out sideways is a sad state of affairs. The current outbreaks should resolve themselves in the days ahead providing a cleaner slate for America going forward. The weather got chilly and outright cold over the last couple weeks in the northern states so some of the buoyancy in cases can be attributed to the arrival of winter in the northern hemisphere.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 11/6/21, at 7:00 AM EST: THE WORLD CROSSES THE 250 MILLION TOTAL COVID-19 CASES MILESTONE FOR THE TRAGIC ONCE IN A CENTURY PANDEMIC. The world reports two consecutive days of daily new cases above 500K. Not good. The coronavirus stink in Russia, western Asia and eastern Europe sends the world's numbers higher. Record cases continue in Germany, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, Czechia and Greece. Russia's failure to control the pandemic sends the infections westward. Ruskie deaths remain at record levels. Ukraine remains at record case levels. The infections in Belarus, Lithuania and Latvia may be peaking. Estonia and Finland remain challenged. Russia has screwed its western neighbors and eastern Europe. Germany reports 35.8K daily new cases the most ever with deaths remaining at 5 month highs. Germans must put the beer steins down and buckle-down. German Health Minister Jens Spahn proclaims, "The fourth (coronavirus) wave is in full force." Spahn is correct that a new wave is spawned but it is actually wave 5 for Germany. Greece and Germany are providing booster shots to their entire populations. Czechia daily cases go parabolic. Ditto Poland. Denmark's daily new cases leap higher. Ditto Netherlands and Belgium; it is ugly. You can see the wave of China Virus moving from east to west Russia to Germany. The COVID-19 infected wall of misery continues westward bringing Denmark, Netherlands and Belgium to their knees, with France and Italy in sight. The cases are starting to bump higher in France and Italy so there is likely very disappointing news coming in the week ahead. Interestingly, the previous European wave was west to east. The UK was infected and the virus spread to the western shores of Europe. Remember how Portugal and Spain were hit? Then the virus moved eastward to central Europe and beyond. The current wave moves east to west spawning in sick Russia. Clearly, eastern Europe, western Asia and Russia is the epicenter of global pandemic creating the rise in world cases. The lingering stink of China Flu continues wafting around the globe.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 11/6/21, at 7:30 AM EST: The UK is on the mend as the daily cases continue lower. There is new concern, however, with a "super-cold" that is hitting Brit's especially those between 15 to 44 years old. People describe the super-cold as the worst cold ever creating a sore throat, muscle aches and fatigue. Doctors say humans will be more susceptible to colds after shielding themselves behind masks for a year and one-half. The super-cold complicates the handling of the pandemic in the UK as people second guess whether they have COVID-19 or the super-cold, basing their decisions on Facebook posts and Instagram messages. In California, democrat Governor Newsom has been in hiding for the last 10 days. He has been incognito after he received a booster shot so rumors are flying that he may have had an adverse reaction to the shot or maybe he has COVID-19 breakthrough case. Newsom releases two Halloween photos on Instagram of him and the family but it is difficult to tell if he looks sick. Other rumors say that Newsom had plastic surgery, or maybe he has the super-cold that is appearing in the UK, or the dreaded ADE reaction. ADE is antibody-dependent enhancement. If a vaccinated person contracts COVID-19, there are three potential outcomes. First, a mild infection occurs with some sniffles and after a couple days of watching television, while having honey wait on you hand and foot, you are good to go. This scenario indicates the vaccine worked. Second, you get a more serious breakthrough infection which leads to pneumonia or perhaps death. The double-vaccinated General Colin Powell died. Third, is ADE where the pathogen more easily infects cells. In other words, it would be better for this person with the ADE outcome to never have been vaccinated. A wide occurrence of ADE would halt the vaccine/s but for now it is all systems go and doctors and scientists do not view it as a concern.

The show is dumbing-down pandemic information as if they actually want to communicate to unintelligent adults. Perhaps it is the actual intent? The kids are surely not going to walk away with any lasting knowledge on the science of the virus or vaccines but will be brainwashed into taking shots if the government tells them to kneel before power. The indoctrination stuff has to stop in America (this is what Americans voted against a few days ago). Parents will simply tell their kids they will have to go to the doctor's office (if they want their child vaccinated) and promise them ice cream afterwards. Bribes work. Children's minds do not need exposed to vaccination dribble. Tell them to go outside and play. The vaccine mandate drama remains in the news although the business disruptions are remaining in check. Something funny is going on in the background as could have been predicted. Companies cannot afford to lose workers in today's environment so thousands of employees are claiming religious or medical exemptions. Businesses realize that if they slow-walk the information to the HR (human resources) department, and then take a long time to review the exemptions, since each will have to be handled individually, the unvaccinated workers can keep working for a while. Over 6,000 New York firemen and police are claiming exemptions and they remain on the job as their cases are reviewed. In other words, companies are hoping to limp through the vaccine mandate garbage, taking a long time to review the religious and medical exemptions, hoping the mandate disappears in the weeks ahead as the pandemic subsides. Businesses will do what it takes to keep the doors open and it is guaranteed that anyone they let go most likely will continue working only the boss will pay them in cash (under the table) and tell them to skate out the back door if anyone official shows up poking around.

The democrat media is slamming the Green Bay Packers quarterback for not being 100% honest about his vaccination status a few weeks ago saying he was immunized (with a coronavirus protocol not a vaccine). A health company sponsor drops Rodgers. Cancel culture is after him as signaled by the democrat media running hit pieces. Sick America wants to cancel another man simply because he prefers to not take a vaccine at this time. Rodgers is scrubbed from tomorrow's game and will watch it from the living room sofa. Rodgers has been in contact with podcast host Joe Rogan and is following the same protocol with monoclonal antibody treatment, ivermectin and other therapies. The democrat media is having conniptions over the word ivermectin as usual but interestingly, in two different CNN news stories, ivermectin is not referred to as a "horse dewormer." Interesting. CNN's lawyers must have told the teleprompter readers and the script writers to stop that lie. MSNBC democrat-run media did not get the memo running a story on the quarterback stating that Rodgers took ivermectin "a drug used to treat livestock." Liars. There is an animal-grade ivermectin that is used to treat horses but it is not the same as the human-grade, FDA and CDC approved, Nobel-prize winning ivermectin used in people with parasites and suffering from other health issues. When any news outlet mentions ivermectin and calls it a horse dewormer, horse paste or other derogatory names, you immediately know not to trust anything that news organization says.
Note Added Saturday Evening, 11/6/21: Mayor blowhard de Blasio flinches signing a deal with 20 New York City unions impacting 96,000 workers concerning the vaccine mandates. The vaccine mandate rules remain in effect allowing de Blasio to continue puffing his chest out but the fix is in with religious and medical exemptions. The exemptions will be permitted which will allow thousands to stay on the job and submit to regular testing. Score another win for the pro-choice folks that want Americans to decide for themselves if they want vaccinated and not be forced to kneel before Emperor de Blasio or King Biden. Humorously, Keystone just received a religious exemption from the Church of What's Happening Now and will pick up the documentation from the bartender tomorrow morning at Sunday services. Louisiana's 5th Circuit Court of Appeals issues a stay against Biden's vaccine mandate. It is another small victory for the pro-choice folks fighting the vaccine mandates including Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who opines, "We won." There are 27 states suing the Biden administration over the OSHA rules. The Whitehouse is starting to back track on the vaccine mandate semantics saying that the new vaccine mandate rules from OSHA are not a vaccine mandate. Sounds like the Jedi mind trick telling you that you do not see what you see. The Whitehouse spokesperson says the OSHA rules are a safety protocol and not a vaccine mandate trying to pound a square peg in a round hole.

Russia reports 41.3K daily new cases the most ever and 1,188 deaths. The last 4 days are the deadliest days of the pandemic for Russia as Dictator Putin hides behind the knight statue in the foyer of one of his palaces. Ukraine reports 793 deaths the deadliest day ever as the total death count crosses the grim 72K milestone. The grave digger's in Europe, western Asia and Russia dance with delight under the light of the new moon. Italy and France need to wake up and smell the coffee, or wine, and proactively push back against the developing outbreak. Where's Prime Minister Draghi? Where's President Macron? Eating baguette and drinking wine? Draghi? Macron? Bueller? Singapore is on the mend after its daily cases spiked to a record level 10 days ago. Singapore's active cases chart has flattened and is dropping like a stone forming the coveted bell shape signaling that the virus is being defeated. Singapore deaths remain elevated but always lag cases and hospitalizations.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 11/7/21, at 4:30 AM EST: The US reports 32.5K daily new cases a nice low Saturday number. 422 Americans die from China Flu yesterday. Daily cases in New Mexico the last 2 days are 1.6K and 1.4K, respectively, remaining elevated. Navajo Nation is taking a hit. Some increased infections are due to migrants crossing the southern border. Arizona reports 3.8K daily new cases the numbers remain elevated. Daily cases are sneaking higher in California. Texas is in good shape. Perhaps, due to the media and law enforcement attention at the southern tip of Texas (Rio Grande Valley) the closest place for migrants traveling north to cross the border into the United States, the travelers may be continuing farther north and entering the US via southern California, Arizona and New Mexico. Michigan reports over 6K daily cases yesterday a bad number. There are higher bumps in infections occurring in recent days in the northern US states which has to be correlated to folks spending more time indoors due to the colder weather. Perhaps these cases can quickly run their course and the herd immunity due to vaccinations and prior infections will help defeat the pandemic once and for all. Vermont cases drop for 2 days after the record-setting spike in cases on Thursday.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 11/7/21, at 5:00 AM EST: Speaking of vaccinations, the CDC COVID Data Tracker shows 181 million US adults 18 years old and older are fully vaccinated, 70%, a major milestone and something for Sleepy Joe Biden to hang his hat on; if he can find his hat. The CDC shuffles the tab items on its tracker site so it is more confusing to find the vaccination data. Perhaps that is the intent. 86% of the US population 65 years and older are fully vaccinated. Wow. Almost 90%. The old folks sure want to live. Over 223 million Americans, over 67%, are vaccinated with at least one shot so they have at least some amount of protection. About 15% of the country have been infected with COVID-19 and this number is surely higher. The CDC has said there may be over 100 million Americans that have had coronavirus which is 30% of the population. Herd immunity is the combination of protection developed through natural antibodies and via vaccinations. Adding the percentages, the United States is at 82% to 97% herd immunity and this is without children being vaccinated. The only worry would be new variants but the dominant Delta variant is currently muscling-out any would-be challengers. Remember, for a year, Lord Fauci described herd immunity exactly as presented here but then ditched the natural immunity avenue when President Biden made the blunder in his springtime speech rallying the country to get vaccinated. Biden said herd immunity could only be achieved with vaccinations and all the little boot-licking liberal-minded foot soldiers, like Fauci, had to fall in line and weave a narrative to support the president. The bozo's purposely downplay and ignore natural antibodies, sweeping it under the rug, proclaiming that the only way to herd immunity and ending the pandemic is with vaccinations. Of course it is a lie but corrupt politicians say these things righteously in their hearts believing that the ends justify the means which is rarely the case. Honesty is always the best policy but that is rare as hen's teeth in today's corrupt America with the crony capitalism system in its last throes. The pandemic was a mess under Trump's rule as well with the underlings spinning narratives that the virus is no big deal as per the messaging from King Donnie. Sadly, the democrats and republicans are two sides of the same corrupt Washington, DC, coin. The vaccination trend remains weak for first-time shot-taker's. The folks not planning to get vaccinated are likely set in their ways especially with mAb treatments available, other therapies and now the two oral covid pills (Merck/Ridgeback and Pfizer) are coming in a few weeks or months. The 7-day MA trend line for US vaccinations is over 1 million per day which is great but not so much when realizing that many of these shots are boosters. Over 23 million booster shots are administered in the US nearly nil for the young folks 18 years old and younger but this is because most are not at the 6-month waning level yet. Over 83% of the booster shots are in Americans that are 50 years old and older. These folks want to live and anxiously roll up their sleeves for any vaccine or shot available placing full trust for their lives in their doctor that is currently enjoying an adult beverage at the 19th hole at the private country club. Note Added Sunday Morning, 11/7/21, at 11:00 AM EST: After 19 months, the United States reopens its borders to double-vaccinated non-essential foreign travelers. New York is a major point of entry so time will tell if the European and UK travelers bring a new round of virus to America via the East Coast. Most vaccinated people fail to understand that they can carry the virus and infect others, like their kids, and their masklessness has likely infected many unvaccinated folks. The travel ban was placed by former President Trump. Travelers entering the US will have to show proof of vaccination. Young folks under 18 are exempt. Vaccinations are accepted from any pharmaceutical company approved by the FDA or WHO. Airline travel is about to go from bad to worse. The ban is lifted as the Thanksgiving Day US travelers flock to airports. The US airports are going to be a nightmare from next weekend through the Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend 11/19/21 through 11/29/21. United Airlines expects a 60% surge in travelers and is already telling people to be patient over the coming weeks. American Airlines plans to offer employees holiday pay increases to try and avoid staffing shortages. Maybe the best idea is to drop the vaccine mandates and then airlines would operate at full staff levels?

The 7-day MA is at 62K cases per day and dropping so the US remains on a good path. The US active cases chart is moving sideways so the daily cases need to keep moving lower to resume the downside in active cases and produce the bell shape to prove the virus is being defeated. Only 123 Americans die of COVID-19 yesterday although that is 123 families in grief. Good news. The 7-day MA for US deaths drops below 1K deaths per day to 965. The US popped above 1K deaths per day on 8/18/21 and never looked back, until now, so this is positive news; a 3-month low in average US deaths per day. Perhaps the hospitals and clinics are finally getting their act together and pumping monoclonal antibody (mAb) treatments into folks to stop the needless dying. Cases remain elevated in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado (4 Corners). Navajo Nation infections are creating the higher numbers along with migrants crossing the southern border that may be carrying China Flu. Overseas, Europe remains a mess. Germany reports 21K daily new cases coming off the peak of 36K cases on Thursday and Friday a positive development. Russia deaths are at 1.2K per day for the last 10 days running. WHO predicts 500K deaths this winter in Europe and western Asia. France, Italy, Portugal and Spain must be watched closely since they are next in line for the westward-moving coronavirus infection wave that started in Russia. All four nations are on shaky ground with cases showing a higher bias. Leaders would be wise to tell their public to be careful and try and nip the new potential wave in the bud but more than likely all four nations will be sinking into the covid quagmire over the coming weeks. France and Italy have to place a firewall to stop the spread and it has to be done immediately. Oh no. While all eyes are focused on western Asia and eastern, and now central Europe, cases in Bolivia in South America are moving higher. The pandemic is a bastard that is difficult to defeat. Paraguay and Uruguay are okay. Damn. Chile is a mess with daily cases spiking higher. Argentina says Don't Cry For Me because they remain in good shape. Brazil and Peru are hanging in there fine. Ecuador has been a mess during the entire pandemic with erratic data. Colombia was smacked hard this year and currently hanging in there but the daily new cases are starting to edge higher again. Thus, Chile and Bolivia will be added to the bad country list. There are lots of copper mines in these countries, including Peru, so the culprit is likely the ports as usual.
