German 10-Year Yield Multi-Year Historic Lows
The German 10-year yield prints a low at 1.144% this morning at a multi-year historic low. Investors are running to the perceived safety of German bonds (higher prices lower yields). This occurred in the US yesterday with the 10-year Treasury note yield collapsing through 2.50% and remaining below. If the yields recover higher, the geopolitical tensions are easing. If the German and US notes and bonds continue to be well bid driving yields lower, the geopolitical tensions are becoming more intense.
