NYHL NYSE New Highs-New Lows Daily Chart
The NYHL shows how the new highs are decreasing as new highs in the market occurs, a divergence. The three green circles corresponds to three recent highs in the markets. The red circles show where the lows came to life and identified market bottoms in June and November. The divergence would be consistent with a market topping. As the broad indexes print higher and higher highs, less new highs are occurring, unlike in 2012 when new highs were building thru the year.
