Fed's Operation Twist Schedule October 2011
The POMO Pump link in the right margin shows the Operation Twist schedule released yesterday; $44 billion for October starting Monday. The Fed will purchase treasuries in 13 operations during October, the last one of the month on 10/27/11. The Fed also has sales operations listed of $44 billion between 10/6/11 and 10/28/11. U.S. Treasuries held steady on Friday, the 10-year yield about 1.92-1.93% and 30-year about 2.92%. The entire Operation Twist bond program targets $400 billion.
