USNA Usana Health Sciences Intraday Chart Mini Flash Crash in Multi-Level Marketing Sector
On Thursday, USNA stock crashed -10% in a heartbeat, dropping from 81 to 73, but then quickly recovering, due once again to the proverbial computer glitch. The drop in USNA triggered a move in HLF and NUS to the downside, although not as dramatic, and all three stocks quickly recovered. The flash crashes and computer glitches continue to occur with frequency. Everyone remembers the 5/6/10 Market Flash Crash where the Dow lost 1,000 points in a few minutes time. The trend of more and more mini flash crashes, and perhaps another biggie, will continue. Be careful in setting stop losses since flash crash moves will trigger a sell on your position at a loss, only to see the stock recover minutes later, leaving you with empty pockets. Use mental stops instead and constantly monitor the markets especially in the current environment. Markets remain very erratic and unstable.
