European 10-Year Yields 11-18-11

Italy's 10-year yield is moving between 6.70% and 6.74%.  Spain 10-year yield remains highly elevated at 6.76%. Germany 10-year yield is at 1.90%. U.S. 10-year is 1.96%.

Germany is the strongest Eurozone economy followd by France, then Italy. ECB is buying Italian bonds today keeping the Italy yield lower and supporting the euro.  But, however, Spain and France, who hold a lot of Italian debt, continue with elevated yields verifying the increasing contagion.

Note Added 11/18/11 at 5:33 AM EST: 10-Year Yields are Italy 6.71%; Spain 6.75%; Germany 1.89%; U.S. 1.98%.

Note Added 11/18/11 at 9:01 AM EST:  Spain 10-year yield is 6.78% remaining elevated.  ECB bot Italy and Spain debt this morning. Keep an eye on Spain.
