SPX Daily Chart Bradley Turn Windows

This chart highlights the Bradley turn dates and windows for the year thus far. The Bradley turn dates forecast an area where a market turn may occur, the dates do not foretell direction. Sometimes the turn date ushers in an acceleration move in the current trends direction rather than a reversal. For this year, the correlation is remarkable. The double circles are major turn windows, both marked substantial tops. Note how the turn dates correspond to market tops and bottoms to confirm that a trader should at least respect and monitor the concept. Keystone thinks of the Bradley turns as a subtle background market current. Think of the turns like a weather forecaster telling you it may rain. To be safe and plan ahead, you take an umbrella that day but you realize it may or may not rain; think of the Bradley's in a similar light.

Reference Donald Bradley, Peter Eliades, Arch Crawford and the Amanita Market Forecasting sites for additonal information. The next Bradley turn dates are 10/12/11 (we are currently in a turn window now from 10/5 thru 10/19 and the recent trend has been up), 10/28/11, 11/22/11-11/23/11, 12/28/11 (a major turn), and 1/11/12.
