When does the pandemic madness end? China has imposed massive
destruction and pain against the world with COVID-19 that was most likely
spawned from the Wuhan Laboratories in 2019. This is Article 84 in the
Coronavirus Chronology series and Keystone, like everyone else on the planet,
wants the madness to stop, but for the selfish reason of wanting to end the
chronology.
Over the last 2-1/2 years, the chronology has recorded each
day’s events including comments from political and medical leaders. Keystone
has written over 1 million words on the COVID-19 pandemic the equivalent
of over a dozen full-length novels in only 2-1/2 years. In addition, Keystone
has provided over 730 charts on the pandemic. It would be great if wave 7 marks
the end of the pandemic phase and start of the endemic phase so the chronology
can be put to bed, but only time will tell. Lately it occurs to me, what along, strange trip it’s been, as The Dead sing.
Keystone would ponder how Stephen King, the master of
horror, could be such a prolific writer publishing 61 books with huge word
counts. It does not seem humanly possible. Now Keystone understands churning
out the equivalent of one novel every 3 months. Writer’s write. Every 3 or 4
Coronavirus Chronology articles, including the daily updates attached to each
article, are equivalent to a full-length novel. Keystone never set out to write
the Coronavirus Chronology; it was never planned.
The Keystone Speculator blog explains stock trading using
charts and technical analysis. Keystone has been retired for 15 years, ditching
the rat race, and now only pursues topics of personal interest. When COVID-19
first started in the United States when the year changed from 2019 to 2020 (covid
was likely here sooner), Keystone posted a chart on China’s infection wave and
then other charts for other nations and the US. The virus was interesting but
most thought it was a temporary deal.
Dr Fauci and former President Trump imposed the 2-week
lockdown on America in early 2020 to “flatten the curve,” a big mistake because
here we are over 2-1/2 years later in a lingering wave 7. It was obvious early
on that coronavirus, also dubbed COVID-19, China Flu, China Virus, Wuhan Flu,
Wuhan Virus, covid, corona, ‘rona’ and the ‘the virus’, was a once in a century
pandemic that would change everyone’s lives forever. Keystone knew he would have
to chronicle the epic event continuing what he started by happenstance.
As Leo Trotsky said, “You may not be interested in war, but
war is interested in you.” In the case of the Coronavirus Chronology, ‘Keystone
was not interested in writing the chronology of the pandemic, but the pandemic was
interested in him’.
Keystone was plucked from the universe to be the standard
bearer and scribe for the COVID-19 once in a century pandemic. Sometimes life
works out that way but after 84 articles and over 1 million words, it’s gotten
old. Everyone wants to be done with the virus but the virus is not done with
us. The Coronavirus Chronology, the China Virus Bible, continues and perhaps
with a little luck, wave 7 will be the last hurrah and the chronology can be
put to rest soon.
It is important to record the pandemic events in real-time
to capture the virus zeitgeist. There will be dozens, perhaps hundreds, of
books written on the pandemic after the fact but the only document capturing
the daily pandemic buzz is the Coronavirus Chronology that will be a valuable historical
guide for decades to come. If people want to understand, or relive, the ongoing
31 months of misery, the Coronavirus Chronology is the first stop and a must-read.
Keystone has no idea as yet on how to publish the final
84-plus articles; it is a daunting task making “War and Peace” look like
child’s play. Maybe the articles can be grouped as seven volumes corresponding
to the seven waves but that is a decision for a later date.
All of the Coronavirus Chronology articles are archived on
The Keystone Speculator blog. If you want to look back at any event or specific
time of the pandemic over the last 2-1/2 years, it is all in the archives in
detail.
It will be a happy day when the Coronavirus Chronology
publishes the final article, because that means the pandemic phase evolves into
the endemic phase (like seasonal flu), but that day is not yet known. When that
day arrives, the covid shackles will be released and Keystone will be free to
move on and not record anymore of the pandemic events.
Interestingly, in the future, Keystone will likely publish
the titles of the articles as a first official book of the coronavirus pandemic.
The titles alone for the 84 articles thus far tell the entire story of the
pandemic and are a book unto themselves. Each article title capsulizes what has
occurred in the pandemic during that 10-day period between articles (each
article is spaced 10 or 11 days apart).
At this stage, old school Keystone has a self-imposed duty
to continue the Coronavirus Chronology, the China Virus Bible, until the
COVID-19 bastard is brought to its knees. Hopefully, this occurs sooner rather
than later. Wave 7 should be it for the pandemic phase but that was the thought
during wave 4.
The pandemic was over in the United States after wave 4 but
as is often said, ‘the pandemic is not over until it is over everywhere’ and
the mutant strains out of India (delta) and Zimbabwe/Botswana/South Africa
(omicron) wreak havoc over the last year prolonging the worldwide China Virus
misery.
US wave 7 is lingering like the summer stink around the
garbage cans. Wave 7 hit the northeastern United States first in April when it
was mainly the BA2 Omicron Subvariant with dashes and pinches of the BA4 and
BA5 sublineages. As the infection wave moves across America, the BA5 subvariant
is now the dominant strain placing BA2 in the back seat.
Thus, most states are experiencing wave 7 as a single wave
that is a combination of BA2, BA4 and BA5 with BA5 dominant. This is not true,
however, for the northeastern states that are now a double-hump wave 7 feeling
the backwash of BA5. This behavior creates a 7b wave for New York, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania and other states that already beat back BA2 (wave 7a).
The US daily new cases chart is shown above. All 6 prior
waves came up, peaked, and then retreated to the downside. Not wave 7. It
lingers sideways flatter than a newlywed’s souffle. The 7-day MA trend line for
daily new cases staggers sideways for 10 weeks now at 117K cases per day. It is
sickening to follow every day; we need wave 7 to drop!
The Friday cases are not yet available. Worldometer data is
not updating as quickly. Tuesday was 132K cases, Wednesday 141K cases and
Thursday 118K cases all the numbers remaining below the prior week’s high at
153K cases on both 7/21/22 and 7/22/22 which is sadly the new high for wave 7.
Friday’s cases need to come in below 153K, and preferably
below 117K and hopefully below 100K. The 7-day MA at 117K cases per day is
trying to develop a downside bias so fingers are crossed that BA5 will die-out
and the USA can start to mend going forward.
The US active cases chart is shown above. There is no sign
of a bell shape forming for wave 7 so there is no happiness. America’s
dedicated healthcare workers have seen the COVID-19 caseloads steadily increase
since April now over 3 months running. Nurse Goodbody is told to delay her
vacation for a couple months. Keystone will have to enjoy the beach, in his
sandals, red Speedo’s and shorty robe, without her.
US active cases are just now reaching 4 million a lousy
development. The active cases chart cannot flatten or move lower to form the
bell shape if it is moving higher. The only positive aspect is that the rate of
change higher for US active cases is diminishing hinting that the top is near
but there has already been three or four fake-out moves during wave 7.
The CDC’s US hospital admissions chart is shown above. On
the left hand side, all age groups are shown and the admissions for wave 7
continue higher. Interestingly, the chart clearly shows the rise in admissions
when BA2 was dominant, then the admission rate slowed, then whammo, BA5 sends
the admissions higher at a faster rate again.
The sliver of good news is that the hospital admissions for
those over 70 years old are trying to flatten-out and the number actually drops
by a hair and do not forget that the data is 6 days old. The situation can be
brighter than shown. Admissions continue higher, as of last Sunday, for all the
age groups under 70 years old. Looking for another positive, the admissions
remain far below the worst waves 3, 5 and 6 (thin red line). UShospitalizations are trying to flatten-out at 37K patients but this data is
also 6 days old.
The US daily new deaths chart is shown above remaining
shamefully high at 324 Americans dying from COVID-19 per day. The chart
represents Biden’s failure at handling the pandemic just like Trump. The rich
politicians and President Biden receive the Paxlovid anti-viral oral pill
treatment immediately upon testing positive for covid. Obviously, as
illustrated by the US death chart above, Guido, LuLu, Ajhid, Savita, Latisha,
Carlos, Little Feather, Abdul, Anthony and Cousin Larry are in caskets because
they did not receive Paxlovid immediately upon their positive covid tests.
President Biden brags that there is a -90% reduction in
deaths since he took office. He is correct since January 2021 was the height of
the nasty wave 3 at 3.25K deaths per day. We all lost loved ones in that
infection wave. A drop from 3.2K bodies per day to 324 deaths per day is a -90%
reduction. However, Sleepy Joe forgot to tell you that US covid deaths have increased
+30% over the last year. They don’t call him Sleepy Joe for nothing; he’s
asleep at the switch.
The US death rate was down to 248 bodies per day last July
and now, as misguided Biden spends his time chasing windmills, solar cells, and
glorified golf carts (electric vehicles), the death rate increases to 324 souls
per day a +30% increase. The coffin maker’s and funeral directors dance in the
light of the full moon celebrating their good fortune. Biden crafts his lies
just like Trump cherry-picking the data to boost their political narratives. No
wonder America’s rigged crony capitalism system is on its last legs.
The medical field has lost serious credibility during the
pandemic due to the wrong advice, misinformation and disinformation. Officials
told people to shut up and believe what they say about the pandemic, masks and
vaccines because they are experts but when the information is exposed as not
accurate, the public will never trust those people again because they know that
once a liar, always a liar.
If you tell the truth, you never have to worry about keeping
your lies straight. The graveyards are full of bodies that had good intentions.
The US does not need any more good-intention idiots; the country needs competent,
experienced people, leaders, calling balls and strikes and informing the public
with the same information.
Kentucky’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The main
covid hotspots are in the southern and mid-Atlantic states. Unfortunately,
Kentucky is hit with devastating floods wiping out a few towns and killing
people; 35 dead so far. Obviously, under these conditions, with neighbors
helping neighbors and citizens forced into shelters, the covid infections
increase.
Kentucky’s 7-day MA for daily new cases goes parabolic at 3K
cases per day. Other southern states are faring better and actually hinting
that they may have peaked over the last couple weeks.
Pennsylvania’s daily new cases chart is shown above
illustrating the BA5 backwash wave 7b that has also hit New York and New
Jersey. The northeastern states were hit first by the little sister wave 7 when
it was mainly BA2. The other states are hit with a single wave combination of
BA2, BA4 and BA5 with BA5 now dominant a la Kentucky’s chart; up, up and away.
New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and a few others (see the
state list below) display the double-hump for wave 7 the first hump is when BA2
was dominant (7a) and the second hump is BA5 dominant coming back to look for
more host bodies (7b). Hopefully, the 7b wave is short-lived and should be
since the BA2 dues was already paid and may provide some protection.
Pennsylvania’s daily new cases are moving sideways at about
3K cases per day. Hopefully, a downside bias will develop this week. New York,
New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Illinois display the same chart behavior wanting
to turn the BA5 wave 7b cases over to the downside.
Nevada’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Daily cases
are running over 4.2K cases per day with the 7-day MA going parabolic. Lots of
vacationers choose Las Vegas as a destination. They should call it Las Virus. The
slogan is “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.” Now it is “get coronavirus
in Vegas, and it does not stay in Vegas.”
Whoa. It is a good think Keystone is sitting down. Japan’s
daily new cases chart is shown above. The island nation reports over 230K daily
new cases yesterday the most of the entire pandemic. It is a huge number; 5
baseball stadiums of Japanese folks infected with China Virus in one day.
Wowza. A quarter of a million people. 24%, or 1 in 4, of the world’s daily new
cases are in Japan. Keystone’s trip to Tokyo is put on hold; the Geisha’s will
be disappointed.
Japan’s 7-day MA is parabolic at 190K cases per day. The
explosive rise in Japan’s cases is reminiscent of North Korea’s recent wave. It
is good news for the world that the majority of new cases are focused in a
limited number of countries but of course it is terrible and devastating news
for those countries.
Japan’s daily new deaths chart is shown above. 238 Japanese
die from COVID-19 over the last 2 days or 119 deaths per day the most since
March. BA5 is wreaking havoc in Japan.
South Korea’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The
7-day MA is going parabolic at 78K cases per day. Generally, countries that
shielded their populations from the pandemic with draconian lockdowns and other
measures are now paying the price for their low natural immunity levels. A
future PhD candidate may want to study the natural immunity levels in Japan,
South Korea, China, Australia and New Zealand, compared to the rest of the
world, and pit those findings against the daily new cases charts for the current
waves. 44% of the new COVID-19 cases, nearly 1 in 2 worldwide, are in Japan,
South Korea or the United States.
Democrat Majority Leader of the House Nancy Pelosi is
leaving on an Asian trip at the worst possible time from a COVID-19
perspective. She will be flying into a covid-infected nest in Japan, then on to
South Korea with infections on the rise and she will also visit Malaysia and
Singapore both dealing with outbreak waves. Pelosi also wants to visit Taiwan
but the filthy CCP is threatening to kill her if she flies into the island
nation. It will be surprising if Pelosi and her entourage returns to the states
without anyone infected with covid, vaccinated or not.
Bolivia’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Cases are
running above 6K per day each of the last few days and the 7-day MA continues
higher at 5K cases per day. Bolivia hospitals are overrun. The cases may
top-out in the days ahead. Keystone
postpones his trip to Puma Punku. South America is a mixed bag with Brazil
improving but Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela struggling.
Russia’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Russia
reports 11.4K cases yesterday another 3-month high and the 7-day MA continues
upward into a new wave at 8.5K cases per day. Dirtbag Dictator Putin will have
his hands full with the Ukraine War and a new infection wave. Will the 7-day MA
trend line go parabolic for Russia in the days ahead?
The world’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The planet
reports 977K cases yesterday with the 7-day MA trying to roll over lower at
925K cases per day.
The world’s daily new deaths chart is shown above. Over 2K
people are dying per day from covid. The death rate remains at lows not seen
since the start of the pandemic but 2,000 folks croaking per day is no reason
to be happy.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 93.0 million. India is next with 44.0 million total virus cases.
Brazil, France, Germany, UK, Italy, South Korea, Russia, Turkey, Spain, Japan, Vietnam,
Argentina, Australia, Netherlands, Iran and Mexico round out the top 18 worst
nations for total COVID-19 cases. Japan leapfrogs Vietnam over the last 10
days.
COVID-19 has infected 581 million people worldwide. China
(the CCP) owes reparations to the world for its sick crime against humanity. 6.4
million people on Earth are dead from the China Flu a grim statistic. 551 million
global citizens have recovered from the virus.
95% (551/581) of the people that become infected with COVID-19
recover in a reasonable time frame. This number was 96% for many weeks so the
recovery percentage slips a hair as BA5 bites harder.
Worldwide, 1.1% (6.4/581) of the people that are infected
with covid die; 1 in 91 (hit the 1/x button on your calculator). This number
was 1.2% for over a year so slippage to 1.1% is great news (less people are
dying after they become infected compared to prior waves).
7.6% (581/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 13 people on earth. 0.08%
of the world’s population (6.4/7670) died from the pandemic; 1 in every 1,198
people on earth died from China Virus over the last couple years.
In the United States, 93 million people are infected with covid.
1.055 million Americans are dead. 88 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus.
This equates to 95% (88/93) of US citizens recovering after becoming infected
with COVID-19.
In the US, 1.1% (1.055/93.0) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. 1 in every 88 US citizens that are infected with coronavirus die. Thus, if
you are infected with China Virus in the United States, you have about a 1 in
90 chance of dying. 0.3% (1/330) of Americans have died from COVID-19 which is
1 in every 330 Americans over the last 2-1/2 years.
28% (93/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid; 1 in every 4 Americans (3.5 to be exact
so call it 2 in 7). The CDC said a few months ago that one-half the US
population, 50%, have been infected by COVID-19 and have some level of antibody
protection; it is likely 60% or even 80% or more now as the omicron bugs work
through the system.
The US is doing a good job at holding wave 7 at bay. The
trend in daily cases is flat which is better than up so herd immunity must be
playing a role (vaccination and natural antibody protections).
The United States has 16% (93/581) of the COVID-19 cases in
the world. 1 in 6 people that become infected with covid on the planet are
Americans. The US vaccination program made an impact month’s ago, but not so
much in recent months.
The US accounts for 16.5% (1.055/6.4) of the China Flu
deaths in the world. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are
Americans. Over a year ago, it was 1 in 5 so vaccinations helped.
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart will flatten-out and roll-over lower. The active cases chart is the
‘flatten the curve’ chart that represents the maximum stress and strain on the
medical system and healthcare workers. Once the active cases chart rolls over
forming the bell shape, the virus is being defeated and healthcare workers can
breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the daily new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For communist nations where
the populations must do what they are told or they receive a bullet in their
heads (China), and for smaller authoritarian nations (Eastern European
countries, Africa and Middle East nations), and many Asian nations where
citizens follow government rules without questioning authority (South Korea,
Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand), the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 11 days after the peak in daily new cases.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases. It takes about 2 weeks longer for
a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or authoritarian
state because lockdowns are not strictly followed or enforced. As time moves
along, nations become better equipped and experienced to fend off outbreaks so the
time between the daily new cases peak and active cases peak is shortening.
For example, the last 2 waves in the UK show only an 11-day
difference between the peak in daily and active cases. After 2-1/2 years,
Western nations are experienced at handling the virus so the distance between
the daily and active cases peaks are decreasing towards the 11-day distance
where the authoritarian and communist style nations are at that enforce the
strict draconian rules to tamp down infections. Once the majority of the
population is either vaccinated or had the virus, the path forward becomes
easier.
All projections below for countries and the US states
continue to use the 11 and 28-day periods for forecasting for consistency. When
the peak in daily new cases occurs, if a subsequent day is within 8% of that
peak top, it is identified as the peak in daily new cases day in reference to
the Keystone Model.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily seen on the bar
charts provided by Worldometer, the CDC and Johns-Hopkins. The daily new cases
bar charts are shown on television news channels with a 7-day moving average
(MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that identifies the trend.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes and more data and information become available to push the
China Virus story forward. The Coronavirus Chronology identifies the real-time
hotspots occurring around the world and within the United States. The
chronology serves as a historical document that will be referenced for decades
to come by those that want to experience the entire pandemic as it unfolds in
real-time.

CDC COVID Data Tracker is another excellent source of information. The Worldometer,
Johns-Hopkins and CDC data track each other well with the Worldometer data leading
the others by a few days. The Worldometer data is far superior for forecasting
since it is updated more reliably in real-time.
The countries with rising active cases charts are
highlighted below with the worst nations at the bottom. The peaks in daily new
cases are shown and the projected peaks for active cases are based on the
Keystone Model. The peak and flattening of the active cases curves are
extremely important since it represents the maximum stress on healthcare
workers and the medical systems for that infection wave.
It will take longer for the active cases charts to roll over
to form the bell shape for the troubled nations at the bottom of the list since
they are still experiencing highs and peaks in their daily new cases. The
United States wave 7 is unfortunately pushed forward again with the active
cases not expected to flatten and roll over until early August (or sooner).

One dozen countries are removed from the bad list since their active cases curves are starting to roll over lower to form the coveted bell shape. It is great news for Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Austria, Pakistan, Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Guatemala and Canada.
Germany, France and Italy shook free from the BA5 nuisance
after a 2-month battle. South America improves but Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela
remain in the covid dog house. The big surprise is how fast Guatemala is
improving. Also, Mexico that may have put the worst of the BA5 wave in the
rearview mirror.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that 6 countries are
added to the naughty list; Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Russia and
Nepal. Keystone postpones the trip to Katmandu, that is what he’s gonna do.
Note how the BA5 infection wave moves eastward across
Europe. The daily new cases are pushed higher in several countries in eastern
Europe and western Asia. Azerbaijan cases are rising.
Japan and South Korea are major trouble spots. Ditto Hong
Kong and China. Hong Kong is just another dirtbag communist city now under CCP
rule. Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines are fighting new outbreak waves but
cases remain small so far.
As mentioned above, US House Leader Pelosi needs her 80-year
old head examined for flying her entourage into the covid-infected nests in
Asia in the days ahead. God Bless Her since she is putting her and other’s health
at risk. President Biden flew into the covid infected nest in Israel on 7/13/22
and 7/14/22 and tested positive on 7/21/22. Israel was at the peak of their BA5
wave and Sleepy Joe walked away infected. Biden then required more sleep to
recover like Uncle Joe at the Shady Rest.
Bolivia, Peru and Venezuela have work to do in South America.
India’s new wave is pesky and running sideways but the cases remain low which
is great news. Generally, the world appears to be heading in a better direction
although eastern Europe, western Asia and Russia will likely be trouble spots
going forward.
The US list below identifies the worst states especially at
the bottom of the list. The peak in daily new cases and projections for the
peaks in active cases are provided as per the Keystone Model.
The flattening and roll over of the active cases curve
forming the bell shape (see US active cases chart above) indicates the virus is
being defeated and the caseload on healthcare workers will quickly improve.
Healthcare workers are not under duress with wave 7 like prior waves but the
caseloads are lingering since April.
The dates for the states to peak with active cases dribble
into August a disappointing sight. However, wave 7 is unlike the prior 6 waves
in its flat profile so it would not be surprising after this lingering 2 to 3
month period for the active cases to roll over within days of the daily new
cases rolling over (rather than the 28-day period that other US waves followed).
August may be the last big month for the COVID-19 pandemic
phase both for the US and the world but Keystone said July was that month in
the last article. The United States is improving but at a snail’s pace.

There are 34 states on the bad list above. Utah, Oregon and Colorado are taken off the list since their active cases curves are heading lower.
Seven states are added to the bad list so it looks like
things are getting worse but take it with a grain of salt. The states are
Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virginia, Maryland, Iowa, West Virginia and Delaware
and as noted above, most are 7b waves where the BA5 subvariant is backtracking
and reinfecting some mid-Atlantic and northeastern states. The positive side is
that the 7b waves are expected to be short-lived and roll over in quick order.
Another positive is the southern states with Louisiana,
Mississippi and Arkansas hinting that their active cases curves may roll over
in the days ahead. The US may have a very good week ahead finally gaining the
upper hand against BA5 but time will tell.
Nevada takes a nasty turn for the worse with elevated cases.
Like Florida, people are going on vacation for fun in the sun but the Vegas
strip must be riddled with COVID-19.

dit … BULLETIN ……. PRESIDENT BIDEN TESTS POSTIVE FOR COVID-19 AGAIN. He
has a Paxlovid rebound case just like Fauci and did not make it through the
Thursday-Friday window when a rebound is most apt to show up 3 or 4 days after
the 5-day Paxlovid treatment ends.
Biden, with his vaccine-only strategy for 1-1/2 years, is
quadruple vaccinated including the booster-booster, and had COVID-19, but now
contracts the virus again. Biden goes back into isolation and says he is
“feeling well.” Dr O’Connor releases a memorandum saying, "The president has experienced no resurgence of symptoms." Biden's runny nose was continuing through yesterday but now it sounds like
it is not. Who knows since O’Connor refuses to answer questions?
Humorously, considering the last week of drama, Biden tweets
from his bedroom, “I’m still at work.” You’re pushing 80, old dude; crawl under
the covers and get some rest. Everyone knows you are not working anyway. Biden
proclaims, “This (Paxlovid rebound) happens with a small minority of folks.” He
is bull-sh*tting again. Paxlovid rebound is likely occurring far more than the scientist’s
tout. Biden destroys his credibility daily.
Typically, rebound patients will take another Paxlovid course
but O’Connor did not say anything and he is nowhere to ask. The prognosis for
rebound patients is excellent. Sleepy Joe should make it through okay. Now,
each morning, everyone will be waiting for another silly memorandum from Dr
O’Connor describing Biden’s condition but no one is allowed to ask the doctor
any questions. The heat will be turned up this week on Dr Keven O’Connor.
The CDC and Whitehouse say about 5% of the Paxlovid
treatments end in rebound with some saying it is as low as 2% but others say it
is far higher at 20%. It may be above 20% considering that two glaring examples
occur over the last few weeks; Biden and Fauci. 20% may be too small of a
number.
Also, maybe Paxlovid is not as effective with BA5 as
thought? Maybe the dosages should be increased or the 5-day regimen expanded?
Officials need to come clean about what they know about Paxlovid rebound.
Fauci, Walensky, Jha and O’Connor got some ‘splainin’ to do.
Lord Fauci is salivating at the timing of Biden’s relapse since
he will do the rounds on the Sunday morning political talk shows in front of
the glorious lights and cameras explaining Paxlovid rebound mixing in a helping
of monkeypox information. The stage lost a great actor when Fauci went to work
for the NIH.
Speaking of monkeypox, there are over 21K cases in 80
countries. The gay men wriggling and comingling on sweaty sheets are providing a
happy playground for the monkeypox virus to go ape. There are over 5K cases in
the United States with 1 in 4 monkeypox cases in New York City. San Francisco
also has a large gay community where the virus is spreading quickly. Hopefully,
the vaccines can make a difference in these two cities. Spain and Brazil report
the first monkeypox deaths outside of Africa.

Chafin with the Detroit Tigers will miss the series with the Toronto Blue Jays
because of tyrannical King Trudeau’s jackass vaccine mandates. Canada requires
COVID-19 vaccinations, everyone has to be a little b*tch in Canada, and Chafin
is the only player on the Tigers roster that is unvaccinated. What silly stuff.
Why can’t everyone simply respect Chafin’s decision to not be vaccinated and

The world and United States should improve going forward. As

Note Added Sunday Morning, 7/31/22, at 4:00 AM EST: Friday's daily new cases for the United States are 99K cases. Knock Keystone over with a feather. That is a beautiful number that likely points to strong progress this week in tamping down wave 7 across America. Revisions will likely bump the cases a bit higher but the important fact is the daily cases continue retreating from the 153K cases peak high for wave 7 on both 7/21/22 and 7/22/22. The 7-day MA trend line for US daily new cases is at 101K cases per day and should drop in the days ahead since the peak days drop out of the 7-day calculation. US active cases pull back a hair to 3.91 million from the near 4 million on the prior day. The US death rate is at 3 hundo bodies per day but their is hope that this rate will begin dropping since Dr Jha and the Whitehouse gang said over 40K courses of Paxlovid were distributed the week before last with the distribution increasing. Thus, if the Whitehouse is backing up the talk with action, the US death rate should drop in the coming days and few weeks. If the death rate continues sideways, the Paxlovid is still not getting to people of common means. The death rate numbers over the next month will not lie. The daily new cases charts for individual states are encouraging which hints that the pesky wave 7 may be in its last throes. The mysterious Dr O'Connor will release another memorandum this morning addressing Biden's health. Hopefully, Sleepy Joe is having a good night's sleep. Rest heals. Treasury Secretary Yellen should test daily because she was meeting with maskless Biden. Imagine a quarter of a million Japanese contracting COVID-19, the BA5 strain, per day. There are 126 million Japanese so 0.2% of the entire population is getting sick per day; that would be 1% of the population every 5 days. 1 in every 568 Japanese are getting sick with COVID-19 each day. Hopefully, Japan can catch a break in the days ahead. The good thing is that the wild parabolic spikes higher in daily cases will typically lead to an equally sharp and fast retreat lower (a skinny and tall inverted 'V' chart formation). The same chart behavior occurs with commodities in the stock market. South Korea's new wave continues higher averaging nearly 80K cases per day. Dr O'Connor releases a memorandum once again addressed to Karine Jean-Pierre, the Whitehouse press secretary, the lady with three first names. O'Connor says Biden tests positive for covid for 2 consecutive days. The president says he is feeling well and will remain in isolation. The doctor's letter is a chintzy update. He phoned it in on Sunday. O'Connor needs to put a little meat on those Biden health-status bones by fielding a few questions. With other important news on the table and the American people tired of COVID19, the Sunday morning political talk shows do not run stories on the coronavirus pandemic. Note Added Sunday Afternoon, 7/31/22: Doctors and scientists are commenting on the Paxlovid anti-viral oral pill rebound cases. The trial data for Paxlovid ended in December 2021 before the omicron strains started wreaking havoc. The Paxlovid trial results are great with over 84% success in preventing hospitalizations and deaths in unvaccinated folks. About 2% of the patients in the small trial of only a couple thousand participants had a rebound event. This is where the low 2% number comes from that is bandied about (for the occurrence of rebound) but it is based on pre-omicron data. The Whitehouse says about 5% of Paxlovid users end up as rebound cases so the number is bumped higher since Fauci, Jha, Walensky and the gang know the aforementioned. It also makes sense why some scientists and doctors say rebounds are far higher around 20% since they are seeing the actual rebound cases. Both Biden and Fauci ended up in the rebound camp and it is a bit of a stretch to think it is a coincidence. The incidence of Paxlovid rebound is likely far higher than 20% but that is okay since the symptoms should remain mild and recovery will occur in a few days. The American people can handle the truth. Paxlovid is a useful treatment for COVID-19. When Biden spews the nonsense that a rebound case is as rare as hen's teeth, everyone knows that it is a lie, or he just does not know or understand the topic, so his credibility suffers, what is left of it, and his approval rating slips lower; already the lowest for any US president in history since polls were available. Trust the American people. Tell them the direct truth about treatments and vaccines. You will find that people would make about the same decisions knowing the full story and the process would be healthier and one of openness rather than one of deceit and untrustworthiness.
Note Added Monday Morning, 8/1/22, at 4:00 AM EST: August begins and the US mid-term elections are only 99 days away. The US reports a low 16K cases for Saturday and Sunday's cases should be lower. The news is good with the 7-day MA dropping to 88K cases per day. Friday's daily new cases remain at 99K which is surprising since revisions are expected to bump it higher; this is great news. Wave 7 may be further along and petering out faster than anyone realizes. The data is leaning that way but several more days need to play out. US active cases (the bell curve chart) drop to 3.8 million a positive development. The CDC Community Transmission map is showing some green counties in California catching up to the daily new cases data. The map is orange and yellow across the mid-Atlantic states and South as the daily new cases data indicate, however, the southern states are doing better than the extensive orange and yellow that is depicted on the map. The map's data is at least 4 days old or more. The CDC's map reports the status of each United States county and is an extremely valuable tool but it has to be updated faster. The daily new cases remain the superior metric in forecasting infection waves. The map shows Arizona entirely as orange and yellow but the daily cases hint that Arizona is actually improving and turning the corner. Put your stock in the daily new cases numbers. A week from now you will see some green counties in Arizona when the sloth-like map plays catch-up to the daily new cases. What a difference a couple days make on the US hospital admissions chart shown above. The admissions are curling over to the downside; great news! The data is through Friday so it is about 3 days old which means the hospital admissions picture is even brighter. It also means US hospitalizations will drop. The hospitalizations remain a flat profile at 37K coronavirus patients but the data was last updated 6 days ago. The US hospitalizations chart is likely peaking and starting to roll over which is great news but you have to wait a few days to see the happiness after the CDC performs another belated update to the chart. Nurse Goodbody may be able to go on vacation after all.
Note Added Monday Morning, 8/1/22, at 5:00 AM EST: The world reports 684K daily new cases the lowest in nearly 3 weeks a downward move in the positive direction. The 7-day MA trend line for the world's daily new cases drops to 863K cases per day moving lower putting distance between itself and the over 1 million daily new cases per day 2 weeks ago. Japan, South Korea and the United States are adding to the global case count more than any other countries so great improvements will develop for the world as these infection waves subside. No sign of that in Japan that reports 213K cases yesterday another humongous number. South Korea's peak thus far with daily new cases is 100K last Wednesday, 7/27/22, so if this week's cases, especially hump day's, remain below 100K, the infection wave will improve and not look like Japan's disastrous outbreak. Cases in Hong Kong move steadily higher reporting 4.6K cases the most since April. Hong Kong is in the process of lowering the vaccination age to 6 months. Hong Kong does what the filthy CCP tells them to do; it is just another communist city now. Singapore is trying to roll the daily new and active cases charts to the downside as US House Leader Pelosi lands in this covid-infected nest beginning her Asia trip. Note Added Tuesday Morning, 8/2/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The US daily new cases for Saturday and Sunday are 63K and 55K cases, respectively. Worldometer is falling one day behind in its data reporting; the delay can be occurring at any point along the data collection path. The prior Saturday and Sunday, ,7/23/22 and 7/24/22, reported 128K and 102K cases, respectively, so it is great to see the big week on week improvement with weekend cases cut in half. Friday's cases are revised higher but only by a couple thousand now at 101K cases; this is good. Last week's high was 140 cases on Wednesday which was below the peak for wave 7 at 153K cases on 7/21/22 and 7/22/22; this is great news showing that the daily new cases likely peaked 11 days ago and a downtrend is developing and in motion. The 7-day MA for US daily new cases is at 95K cases per day. Wave 7 should peter out going forward but this week's data needs to play out to make sure. US active cases are at 3.8 million flattening-out and wanting to roll over lower to start forming the coveted bell shape. America is poised for a positive path forward; BA5 be damned. The 7-day MA for US daily deaths are down to 272 bodies per day slipping below the 3 hundo souls per day and higher for the last 3 months. Perhaps Paxlovid is finally getting to the common folks that test positive for COVID-19 instead of only the rich and well-connected. If the death rate drops under 100 bodies per day, the pandemic is morphing into the endemic phase, finally, like seasonal flu. Someday there will be victory over COVID-19. Someday this pandemic is going to end.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 8/2/22, at 5:00 AM EST: The world's daily new cases continue improving with the 7-day MA trend line down to 864K cases per day. Global deaths are averaging 1.9K bodies per day at least that is better than the 2,000-plus dead covid bodies per day shown in the chart above. Japan reports 197K cases remaining a nasty high number but at least it is back below 200K cases. 100 Japanese are dying daily from China Virus. South Korea's daily cases continue higher at 82K per day but the rate of ascent may be slowing. US House Leader Pelosi and her entourage are flying into Taiwan over the next couple hours at the ire of the CCP that warns against the trip. Screw China. The Taiwanese want their life and freedoms to remain in place and want nothing to do with the mainland communists (CCP). Estonia and Latvia report rising cases as the European infection wave moves eastward to Russia. Romania and Czechia show signs that their new waves may level-out with small numbers. Just as the BA5 infection wave was worse for the countries that protected their populations during the pandemic with draconian lockdowns and other strict measures (China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand), the BA5 waves are not as big a deal for other nations that were battered with nasty prior waves and high infection rates such as the eastern European countries. Is this due to natural immunity? At this stage of the pandemic, is natural immunity providing more protection against BA5 than vaccines? Quadruple vaccinated people are testing positive for covid. An epidemiologist, virologist or budding PhD can figure it out but perhaps their work will never be seen since their bosses pursue political agendas. "The president continues to feel well, though he is experiencing a bit of a return of a loose cough." Biden's symptoms worsen but the doctor downplays the loose cough saying it is the only symptom and all vital signs are fine. Biden tests positive for covid for the fourth consecutive day as he deals with Paxlovid rebound. Why wasn't Sleepy Joe given a second course of Paxlovid? Where's Fauci? Ask him to detail his rebound protocol and compare it to Biden's. The O'Connor letter is another cut and paste job. Where's O'Connor? He needs to answer some questions. The Whitehouse spinmeisters can spin the news any way they want, but the president developing symptoms again is not good. Loose cough means phlegm in the nasal, throat and lung passages. Hopefully, Sleepy Joe is spitting the stuff out, expelling it, into a wastebasket and keeping his lungs clear. Biden looked good last evening so O'Connor must have pumped him up on something to get him through the 8-minute speech (since he tested positive again this morning). At today's Whitehouse daily briefing, the sub-par Karine Jean-Pierre says the president is "doing well." She says the covid illness "does not stop him from doing his job." She says, "There is no recurring symptoms" which disagrees with the O'Connor letter that says the loose cough is back. She is asked if the American people will lose confidence in vaccinations and Paxlovid due to President Biden's illnesses. Jean-Pierre says, "No. Paxlovid has over a 90% chance of preventing severe illness if it is taken early." She does not know that the plan is to cut the president loose as soon as he tests negative for two consecutive days. Jean-Pierre says he will be good to go after one negative test. O'Connor can clear up the confusion. Where's he at? Jean-Pierre is confused and a lousy spokesperson. She looks like an overachieving college girl trying to do a job she is not yet qualified to handle. There are 6K monkeypox cases in the United States and three states declare states of emergency; California, New York and Illinois. This is interesting since, deductively, it shows that these three states, more specifically the cities of San Francisco, New York City and Chicago, respectively, have the largest male gay populations of the country. Complaints continue that there is not enough monkeypox vaccine but it is disheartening to hear that the gay community is still having parties and events during this contagious outbreak. The gay community needs to take more personal responsibility, even for just a couple weeks, and help tamp down the monkeypox spread by other measures besides vaccines, such as placing all parties and events on hold and stop waving their privates around at each other.

The expectation for this week is that the daily new cases will continue rolling over and confirm that wave 7 is fading and on the downside; perhaps the pandemic's last hurrah is now in progress.

Russia's new infection wave is at 11K cases per day but the numbers remain small and hint that the wave may not have a lot of upside juice which is good news for the Russian people. The Ruskies are dealing with Dictator Putin that has gone mad like Hitler murdering Ukrainians. If Russia's new infection wave is not a big deal, it would further the hypothesis that the countries that fared the best against the highly contagious BA5 subvariant are the nations with the highest natural immunities. The world and United States look good for defeating the BA5 bug going forward. The cut and paste letter does not provide sufficient information about the president's health. After a couple weeks of the memorandum nonsense, the letters are sounding more like a smoke screen. O'Connor needs to answer questions publicly but he refuses (or the Whitehouse will not permit him). Why does O'Connor keep hiding? Situations like this breed conspiracy theories and it would be the Whitehouse's own fault for hiding information. One possibility is that the mysterious Dr O'Connor is pumping the president with multiple drugs at different times and he does not want to do a press conference and lie. That is probably the gist of it. Biden and O'Connor are analogous to Michael Jackson and Dr Conrad Murray that would pump Jackson with propofol every night so Michael could get rest from his pain and perform at his self-imposed high level (if you ever had propofol for a colonoscopy or other procedure, you know how you felt like a million dollars when you woke up). One night he got too much and the King of Pop was lying in a casket instead of a bed. We definitely do not want that outcome to ever be repeated for anyone. Hopefully, O'Connor's letter today will announce that the president is on the mend and no longer testing positive for COVID-19.

The letter says O'Connor examined the president after Joe finished a light workout. He is a near-80 year old guy; no one expects him to exercise. Biden puts on a show, like riding the bicycle, for political theater; his boney frail body is trying to project an image of virility. Doc says all vital signs are fine and the cough is less frequent. Sounds like the president is doing okay waiting for the test results to change to negative each morning. Treasury Secretary Yellen is in the window where she should be most concerned about testing positive for coronavirus. Infections typically appear in 4 to 10 days, some say 2 to 14 days for a wider range, and Keystone has found 8 days to be a sweet spot for incubation especially for identifying superspreader events. Paull has been trying to get a hearing for over 1 year. The panel says specific evidence is available indicating that coronavirus did not originate from animals and Dr Steven Quay issues a challenge to Fauci and others to debate the origins of COVID-19. The gain of function garbage should have already been investigated but the US government is not functioning properly. Paul wants to make sure taxpayer dollars do not fund gain of function research especially through back doors like the current scandal with Fauci, Collins, NIH, EcoHealth and the Wuhan Labs. Dr Fauci did not attend the hearing but he and Collins continue tap-dancing trying to explain the funding away saying gain of function means something different now. They are playing semantics games. The panelists conclude that Dr Fauci lied under oath when he provided testimony to Congress on gain of function research. The hearing is a shot across the bow at Tony Fauci letting him know that if the republicans take control of the House on 11/8/22 (mid-term elections), they will hold lengthy detailed meetings into exactly what Fauci and Collins were doing over the last few years. If republicans are victorious on 11/8/22, Fauci will likely resign on 11/9/22. If republicans choke in the elections, perhaps due to women unhappy about the new approach to abortion (more women vote than men), Fauci will be smiling ear to ear and staying on the job into the 2024 presidential election.
Note Added Wednesday Evening, 8/3/22, at 6:00 PM EST: From the strange case department, three Toronto doctors, Sawicki, McKenzie and Segall, die within a few days of each other. The social internet blames the fourth vaccine shot on their deaths and the news spreads like wildfire. Their employer, Trillium Health Partners, says the three did not die from a COVID-19 vaccine but instead from other ongoing illnesses. Segall had lung cancer. Sawicki had gastric cancer. Due to all the misinformation and disinformation from the Canadian government under the rule of tyrannical baby King Trudeau, it will be an uphill battle to convince the Canucks that everything with the three deaths are on the up and up. Back in the States, media sources say the CDC plans to ease COVID-19 restrictions on schools. As usual the CDC is a follower not a leader. Many schools around the country are ditching or modifying COVID-19 protocols including masking, testing and isolation requirements. The CDC does not want left behind especially since they want it to look like they are leading.

The person developed the rare Guillain-Barre Syndrome after receiving the J&J shot, was put on a ventilator, then died. Over 100 cases of Guillian-Barre were reported in the United States after the J&J shots leaving people with severe illness and one patient died. J&J is not commenting on the South Africa death. As would be expected, South Africa and other health officials proclaim that the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks. Sure they do as long as you are not one of the people suffering debilitating side effects from the jabs that ruin your life forever. Life is a risk.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 8/4/22, at 7:00 AM EST: The New England Journal of Medicine releases a study, "Effects of Previous Infection and Vaccination on Symptomatic Omicron Infections," that says natural immunity is better than two vaccination doses when battling the omicron strains. Three doses of vaccine edge out natural immunity but they are at the same level of effectiveness in the 46% to 52% range. Previous infection and two doses of vaccine are 55% effective and a previous infection and three doses of vaccine provides 77% effectiveness against the omicron strains. All the above scenarios, including natural immunity by itself, provides protection against severe outcomes from the omicron strains at 70% effectiveness and higher. The study concludes that there is no discernable difference between natural immunity only, vaccinations only, and hybrid immunity of both a prior infection and vaccinations, in protecting against symptomatic BA1 and BA2 infections. Wow. It is a bombshell study and it makes perfect scientific sense as compared to the misinformation fed to the public over the last 2-1/2 years. Obviously, no one wants to get sick with COVID-19 for the purpose of developing natural immunity but the so-called scientists and doctors should have gave it more street cred. Natural immunity after one or more COVID-19 infections, that was dissed by Fauci, Biden, and medical talking heads for the sake of promoting vaccinations, is just as good or better at preventing omicron infections and severe outcomes than vaccinations only and should be shown more respect. The medical field has lost a lot of credibility over the last 2-1/2 years and it will take a long time and a concerted effort by the healthcare providers to reverse the damage. The study is important now because it is verifying what is occurring in real-time around he globe. Countries that protected (in the politician's minds) their populations with draconian lockdowns such as China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, are paying the price during the omicron infection waves with worse outbreaks than other nations because their natural immunity in the population is low. The pandemic is one heck of a learning experience for everyone involved. 13% of the National Guard continue to not want to be vaccinated and the government has to make a decision on their status. People should be allowed to make their own decisions about COVID-19 vaccinations. Has the United States learned its lesson? Bebtelovimab mAb is an effective treatment for COVID-19 but the US government supplies are running out and there is no more funding available. The government has not used bebtelovimab to the extent possible and that is shown by the shameful American COVID-19 death rate at 350 bodies per day, every day, for over 3 months. It is a Biden failure at handling the pandemic. Note Added Thursday Evening, 8/4/22: The CDC is tracking and monitoring a new omicron sublineage BA46 (BA.4.6; the chronology simplifies the names for ease of readability). The WHO considers BA46 another descendant lineage of the B11529 Omicron Variant and a variant of concern. The subvariants keep popping-up and have medical folks concerned about the growing frequency of new strains. The strains are appearing so fast that trying to develop booster shots seems futile. Big Pharma always makes its money but provide vaccines that are fighting the last war. Dr Fauci weighs in on the subject decreeing that the 'new boosters under development are trying to hit a moving target'. 43 other countries have identified the new BA46 subvariant. 4.1% of the US cases ending 7/30/22 are BA46. The CDC says BA46 is also in play in the mid-Atlantic states and the South. So much of this makes perfect sense. The downward bias in daily cases remains in place over the last couple weeks but the path lower is painfully slow. The BA46 bug must be exerting itself creating buoyancy in cases over the last week. Hopefully, BA46 will not be more serious than BA5 and the downward bias in US cases will develop into a sharp drop. Georgia reports 5.8K daily new cases yesterday teasing the highs for the current wave. Atlanta, Georgia, proclaims its city to be in the 'Red Zone' the highest of three COVID-19 danger levels. Keystone cancels the trip to LEGOLAND. The US daily cases are important for yesterday and today and must remain below 140K which was last week's highs on Wednesday and Friday. The peak for daily new cases is over 150K in the prior weeks. The step-down in daily cases week on week needs to be maintained to continue the positivity and begin the demise of pesky wave 7. The strains in play for wave 7 are the BA2 Omicron Subvariant then BA4 and BA5, then BA275, and now BA46, and each of the new strains becoming dominant create the sideways profile of wave 7 which is different than the prior 6 waves.

The Paxlovid rebound started last Saturday morning with a positive test. Dr O'Connor releases another memorandum on Biden's health. He says, "His (Biden's) cough has almost completely resolved." Don't you love the vague stupid phrases that do not tell you anything of substance? The letter is another cut and paste job. It is interesting what you can learn from a document if you look at it closely. At the end of the sentences, sometimes there are 2 spaces, sometimes one. The older way of typing was 2 spaces from the period to the first letter of the next sentence but nowadays with technology and computers, only one space is used. Thus, Sherlock can deduce that there are likely one or more people aiding O'Connor in editing the memorandum each day. The misalignment on the top address area of the letter also remains askew so at least one person is not someone that pays attention to detail. One person is probably over 60 years old and the other younger. When a doctor refuses, or is not permitted, to answer questions about the president's health, the conspiracy theories and imaginative narratives will flourish. Something is fishy. Biden talks for 13 minutes from isolation and looks a lot better than yesterday. Is O'Connor pumping the president with drugs which would explain how Joe can look much different at several hour or daily intervals? Biden is wearing his aviator sunglasses but why wouldn't he set up things where he did not have to wear the shades? His eyes are slits. The sound is messed up on the video because it is hard to hear Biden talk with all volume knobs at maximum. He signs a couple of documents reading off notes but he is inaudible. Maybe he will test negative for covid tomorrow morning.
Note Added Friday Evening, 8/5/22: Unvaccinated tennis champion Novak Djokovic has to pull out of the Canadian Open later this month because jackass tyrannical baby-boy King Trudeau decrees that unvaccinated foreigners are not permitted into the country. Sickening, isn't it? Djokovic is playing for a record-tying 22 Grand Slam wins but dirtbag Canada will not allow him the opportunity. Trudeau's tyrannical rule makes you never want to visit Niagara Falls again. Good on Djokovic for standing up for what he believes in. Novak decrees, "I'm not planning to get vaccinated." Shove your vaccine mandate garbage Canada. Trudeau likes playing God controlling people's lives. In Europe, quadruple vaccinated German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach tests positive for COVID-19. Four COVID-19 jabs did not help the health minister's health although, like the talking heads in the United States, Lauterbach proclaims that the 4 shots will create a less severe outcome. Isn't this starting to sound ridiculous?
Note Added Saturday Morning, 8/6/22, at 2:00 AM EST: The Whitehouse fixes the sound problem on Biden's video and edits it into a better package. If you run the captions while the president speaks in the video, because he mumbles and stumbles too much, the crooks edited out his words. Biden proclaims, "It has taken years for America to recover from an economic crisis that we inherited." The captions drop the 'that we inherited' part. Biden's handlers must not have wanted that in the written record. You can see corruption and deceit every where you look in America these days. During the 13 minute speech, Biden's energy level starts out strong but he finishes with a weaker and softer voice.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 8/6/22, at 2:30 AM EST: The US reports 110K cases for Thursday below the 127K cases for Wednesday which is below the prior weeks cases; it's all good. Friday's cases are not yet available so if they behave, America will be in a confirmed downtrend in daily new cases for wave 7. The 7-day MA is at 106K cases per day. The path forward remains encouraging for daily cases but not for deaths. Nearly 400 Americans continue dying per day from COVID-19 displaying the glaring incompetence of Biden, the Whitehouse staff and cabinet, CDC, NIH and FDA. Biden was hired to handle the pandemic but it remains a chaotic and confusing mess under his watch matching Trump's incompetency. It is American mediocrity on full display daily. Despite US wave 7 lingering on, news stories on the pandemic are scarce in the democrat or republican-run media. The news outlets are running more coverage on monkeypox. Americans have moved on to other problems and consider inflation, caused by Biden's war on energy and misguided embrace of climate change, as the number one issue not the pandemic. Boom. Indiana reports 3.9K cases for Thursday the highest of the current wave 7. Is the BA46 bug at play in Indiana? Georgia continues reporting elevated cases. Indiana and Georgia are experiencing higher infection rates right now compared to neighbors. Interestingly, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Atlanta, Georgia, are major travel hubs. Atlanta is a busy airline hub but more importantly, common folks are taking summer trips in their cars and the major roadways converge and pass through Indianapolis and Atlanta. Perhaps the higher infection rates are due to the road travelers passing through these two states but stopping and spending time at truck stops, convenience stores, gasoline stations and restaurants. Idaho reports a spike of 2.2K cases the most for the current wave but they are reporting data in groups of days so it is hard to gauge. Oh no. Kentucky reports over 3.6K cases for both Thursday and Friday the most for the current wave 7. President Biden wants to visit Kentucky due to the devastating floods but this is a near 80 year old guy trying to recover from the virus and when he does he wants to visit a covid-infected nest. Sleepy Joe does not appear to be a very smart man.

The 7-day MA for the world's daily cases is at 850K cases per day continuing to move begrudgingly lower. The global death rate is at 2.2K deaths per day not good. Japan reports 254K cases yesterday the most ever more than a quarter of the new cases in the world. Every 4 days, over 1 million Japanese are infected with COVID-19. Something has gone terribly wrong on the island nation. Pelosi's entourage packs Japan's covid into their suitcases and head back to the US. 183 Japanese die from China Virus yesterday with the numbers starting to move towards the February and March pandemic record highs. Japan is adding to the global death rate causing the number to remain above 2K deaths per day as mentioned above. South Korea's infection wave continues higher averaging over 93K cases per day and deaths spike to 47 yesterday the highest since mid-May. What the heck is going on in Japan and South Korea? These two nations account for 4 of every 10 new COVID-19 cases in the world and if you lump in the United States, the trio of gloom account for one-half the new China Virus cases. Russia's new infection wave expands higher with 19K cases yesterday.

Note Added Sunday Morning, 8/7/22, at 3:00 AM EST: The world is averaging 835K cases per day starting to establish a steady downtrend again. Obviously, the path of the world cases is entirely beholding to Japan, South Korea and the United States since they represent one-half of the new worldwide COVID-19 cases each day. Japan reports 236K daily new cases yesterday an obscene number but below Friday's 253K cases so perhaps the peak is occurring in real-time. Oh my. 189 Japanese succumb to China Flu yesterday. South Korea's infection wave continues higher at almost 100K cases per day. 92 South Koreans die from covid over the last 2 days. Russia reports 20K daily new cases yesterday with the new infection wave heading higher. The BA5 infection wave ripples eastward across eastern Europe, western Asia and into Russia and the interesting aspect is nations are holding up well. Cases may be plateauing in Czechia, Slovakia Poland and other countries, at small numbers. Perhaps this data furthers the thesis that nations not as well prepared for the pandemic, with vaccines not available, saw huge swaths of their populations catch COVID-19, developing natural antibody protection, and that may be the reason these nations are faring better through the omicron subvariant waves as compared to countries that shielded their populations from the virus, such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, China and Hong Kong, that are smacked senseless by BA2, BA4, BA5, BA275 and BA46. That is something for the epidemiologists and virologists to figure out. Guatemala and Mexico are improving quickly with daily new cases in a confirmed downtrend. This good news will help the US southern border states beat back their infection waves.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 8/7/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The US reports 93K daily new cases for Friday a beautiful sight. The high cases for the week are on Wednesday at 127K. Thus, Friday is below Wednesday that is below the prior week at 142K that is below the 7/21/22 peak for wave 7 at 152K daily new cases. It is groovy that the peak in daily cases is now 17 days in the rearview mirror. US active cases continue trying to flatten and roll over at 3.9 million cases another positive. It's all good stuff. Then there are the American deaths from China Virus with bodies continuing to stack-up and compete for morgue space. No one is happy except for the coffin makers and funeral directors. US citizens continue dying from COVID-19 at a clip of 354 bodies per day. That is 354 souls that did not receive the care, or Paxlovid, that Biden received. Dr Jha and the Whitehouse gang said Paxlovid is getting to those that need it but the proof is in the death numbers. With daily cases retreating, there should be a downside bias developing in deaths in the days and couple weeks ahead but if the Paxlovid is truly getting to folks that need it, the drop in deaths should be more substantive and dramatic. Over the coming days and week or three, we will see if the Whitehouse is telling the truth or blowing wind. The news should be good for the US going forward with wave 7 on the ropes but the news will not be great until the poor, disabled, disadvantaged and uneducated stop dying from China Virus.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 8/7/22, at 9:30 AM EST: Good news. President Biden tests negative for covid this morning so that is 2 consecutive days and he is now out of isolation. Sleepy Joe wastes no time leaving his Whitehouse bedroom and heading to his bedroom in Delaware to meet up with First Lady Jill. Dr O'Connor provides another cut and paste memo declaring, "He (Biden) will safely return to public engagement and presidential travel." O'Connor is clearing the path for Biden to visit Kentucky on Monday. Any Kentuckian meeting with Biden tomorrow will be wondering if he is still carrying around disease. O'Connor escapes public scrutiny for a second time but at some point he will need to come clean about the details of Biden's care. Americans are entitled to know since he is president. Biden is quadruple vaccinated including the booster and booster-booster, and now has been sick with COVID-19 twice, so he should have great immune protection going forward. Humorously, going forward, the natural antibodies will likely protect him better than the shots.
Note Added Monday Morning, 8/8/22, at 3:00 AM EST: The world reports 655K daily new cases yesterday the lowest cases in about 5 weeks and the 7-day MA trend line drops to 807 cases per day. Global daily COVID-19 cases peaked on 7/13/22 at 1.18 million and are in a downtrend for 3-1/2 weeks; great news. The China Virus global death rate is 2K bodies per day. Japan reports 214K new covid cases continuing the misery. 189 Japanese die another new high for the current wave teasing pandemic records. South Korea's infection wave continues higher at 102K cases per day. Russia reports 20.3K cases yesterday another new high for the new wave underway. Australia and New Zealand continue improving but at a snail's pace with cases Down Under still running about 30K per day. 15% and more of New Zealand's current deaths are due to China Virus lifting it to the major cause of death in the nation overtaking strokes and heart attacks. Where's PM Ardern? Sleeping? Or is she busy spending her time on the misguided climate change agenda like Biden in the United States? COVID-19 cases are improving in South America including Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Paraguay. Chile sees a bump in cases as a reinfection wave may be occurring. Argentina sees a slight rise in cases as well. Chile and Argentina worked through their infection waves, and were on the downside, as the rest of the continent's waves increased. It is a similar situation to the northeastern United States. New York State and other northeastern states were first hit with the BA2 Omicron Subvariant dominant wave (7a) and now there is BA4 and BA5 backwash creating another bump in infections (wave 7b). This same thing occurs in Argentina and Chile but the waves are expected to not be any big deal. South America has made it through the BA2/BA4/BA5 infection cycle better than any other continent. Is it because of their massive natural immunity in the population? Eastern European and western Asia countries are dealing with rising infections but these waves may be minor. The world is looking good and may be finally on the road to defeating the 2-1/2 year pandemic.
Note Added Monday Morning, 8/8/22, at 3:00 AM EST: China remains mired in the pandemic with 80K tourists now stranded in Sanya a popular resort city on Hainan Island referred to as the Hawaii of China. Trains and planes are cancelled. Stranded folks must remain locked-down for 7 days and show proof of 5 negative covid tests before allowed to leave. What a mess. Dirtbag Dictator Xi's disastrous zero-covid policy is full steam ahead. If you are stupid enough to travel to or within China with the zero-covid garbage at play, you deserve to be locked down. The CCP (communists controlling China) say the BA5 subvariant is dominant in the Hainan outbreak and blames foreign seafood dealers for starting the spread. 1 million residents in Danzhou, Hainan, are put into full or partial lockdown. Several million others are locked down in neighboring cities. Chinese folks are tiring of the draconian zero-covid policy. The situation worsens in Sanya minutes ago with another 413 cases reported prompting officials to institute more lockdowns. BA5 is wreaking havoc in China because there is minimal natural immunity at play and the Chinese vaccines are junk. China controls the press and lies so think how much worse the covid outbreak is than reported. The COVID-19 monster seeks retribution from the communist nation from which it was spawned like Frankenstein returning to attack its master.
Note Added Monday Morning, 8/8/22, at 3:30 AM EST: The 7-day MA for US daily new cases is down to 81K cases per day but it has been a jumpy number. US daily new cases peaked on 7/21/22 so each day of distance from that date is good news. US active cases drop to 3.8 million so fingers are crossed that the chart will start to form the coveted bell shape to prove that wave 7 is being defeated. American covid deaths remain shameful at 325 bodies per day. Biden remains distracted on the climate change follies and Congress is about to waste 100's of billions of taxpayer's hard-earned dollars on windmills and solar cells (can you say Solyndra?). It is fascinating watching the collapse of America's crony capitalism system in real-time. The US may not be recognizable in a year or two. It is Our Destiny. Georgia remains challenged but the state is not reporting its data since Tuesday. US wave 7 is expected to continue improving this week.
Note Added Monday Morning, 8/8/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The Dr O'Connor daily letters on Biden's health will likely end now that the president tests negative for COVID-19. Those memorandums were a joke but that is what Americans accept nowadays. President Biden and First Lady Jill are scheduled to visit Kentucky today to view the flooding. Treasury Secretary Yellen does not have China Virus so she did not get infected by Sleepy Joe when they met between his initial covid illness and the Paxlovid rebound. House Speaker Pelosi and her entourage will find out if they got infected with covid in Japan or South Korea later this week or on the weekend.
