Keybot the Quant Turns Bullish
The Keystone Speculator's proprietary trading algorithm, Keybot the Quant, flips to the long side yesterday afternoon at SPX 2845. Bulls pump retail stocks (think AMZN) and chips to create the strength in the broad stock market. Stay alert for a whipsaw back to the short side. S&P futures are down -50 ahead of the hump day opening bell. Watch SOX 1610. If SOX 1610 fails, the downside for equities has legs. If stocks sell off, but SOX remains above 1610, bears got nothing and stocks should recover and resume the rally.
