Dr Fauci, the beloved father-figure of the coronavirus, that
appears on the cover of InStyle magazine last July, poolside, donning cool sunglasses, is now treading water at the deep end of that covid pool. The Wuhan
Lab leak scandal has legs. An investigation is needed to answer the myriad of
questions surrounding not only the origin of COVID-19 but whether or not US
funding was provided to the Wuhan Laboratories.
There are sharks in the pool looking for Fauci such as Kentucky
Senator Rand Paul and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis that has presidential
aspirations. Paul calls Fauci a fraud and spars doctor to doctor at the Capitol
Hill hearings. DeSantis will not be invited to Fauci’s future retirement party
after unleashing a barrage of attacks. DeSantis decrees, “We choose freedom
over Fauci-ism!” The governor, foaming at the mouth, proclaims, “He (Fauci)
fear-mongered about schools! He was wrong about masks! This (pandemic) was
about himself.” Ouch. ‘Dem are fightin’ words. Paul and DeSantis are republicans while Fauci leans left although he says he is neutral.
The luster is off the Fauci rose but ‘The Good Doctor’, as
the InStyle magazine cover names him, may weather the Wuhan Lab-leak storm with
the help of the Fauci-adoring media. Preliminary investigations indicate that
the NIH, ran by Fauci, provided $3.7 million in funding to EcoHealth. $600K was
peeled-off and given to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for their nefarious
deeds causing some people to refer to the money exchange as ‘laundering the funding’. In espionage, moving money through a friendly intermediary is called a 'cutout', thus, some are accusing EcoHealth as operating as a cutout organization.
Fauci defends the $600K going to the labs saying the bat
research was important. He also says the funding is a drop in the bucket
compared to the overall budget of the lab. Those are weak arguments since bat
research could be managed elsewhere, anywhere instead of a communist country,
and the amount of funding is not important. The US should not be providing
hard-earned taxpayer money to communist scientists experimenting with viruses.
Duh.
Fauci divides the $600K by 5 months and says it comes down
to $120K per month which is a tiny fraction of the budget. A lovely wife, or pretty
girlfriend, cannot be only a tiny bit pregnant. If the funding is traced to the
commie labs, which appears to be the case, stop it and do not permit it ever
again.
The liberal-leaning press are running cover for Dr Fauci,
now humorously dubbed Lord Fauci by the right-wing media, so calls for the
doctor’s resignation are muzzled. The celebrity has gone to Tony’s head. One of
the failings in handling the pandemic was not having more hands-on, in the
trenches, doctors, providing input into how to best treat patients directly.
The television doctors such as Fauci are not practicing so
they should yield to the expertise provided by the doctors at the hospitals and
clinics dealing with the coronavirus misery each day. The celebrity has
expanded the size of Fauci’s talking head on television to where it hardly fits
into the frame. The Wuhan Lab controversy continues.
Perhaps to get the Wuhan Lab leak story off the front
burner, the media is pumping a story about the rise in hospitalization rates
for adolescent children. This sounds serious. It must be based on thousands of
patients and a meticulous study. Nope. Turns out it is 204 kids 12 to 17 years
old and the data is based on January through March of this year (January was
the worst month of the pandemic). None of the children died. One-third required
intensive care and about 5% required ventilation.
The story is released to encourage parents to have their
kids vaccinated since bad things can happen otherwise. It is likely
fear-mongering at play but let us assume their intent is noble and give the
medical folks the benefit of the doubt. 204 kids is not a big sampling. Maybe they
were all attending a fat camp? The story fits the narrative of the Biden
administration that wants every American to roll up their sleeve. Keystone
remains on the fence. He wants Nurse Goodbody to administer the vaccine shots to
his buttock cheeks but she says it is the arm or nothing.
Levity aside, nearly 80% of the deaths from COVID-19 areobese people (BMI over 30). It is the dirty secret no one wants to talk about. Look at
yourself. You’re fat. You can call it thick, or plump, voluptuous, big-boned, chubby or muscular,
but it is still fat. In other words, when the covid patients are sitting around
looking at each other, everyone knows that the fat guy breathing heavy is likely going to die. This is not fat shaming. If anyone is weight-challenged,
use this as an incentive to lose a few pounds. Do not shoot for the fences with a quick weight-losing scheme, or scam, instead simply strive to not get one pound heavier. After you succeed at that for a few weeks, set small goals of a few pounds of weight loss at a time, knowing that you already achieved the first goal of maintaining your weight. You are in control and the only one that can make yourself healthier. The people dying from covid are
the obese folks.
Now that the coronavirus political drama and back stories
are updated, let’s look at a few charts. America is in great shape but it is a
shame that much of the world is suffering. The US daily new cases chart is
shown above with the 3-day MA squiggly trend line highlighted in blue. The
3-day MA is coming up again so make sure it prints another lower high to
maintain the downtrend, which it should. The US daily cases are at levels not
seen since the start of the pandemic in March of last year. Americans are out
and about more each day, shedding masks more each day, and beginning to enjoy
life again each day.
The UK was enjoying success at defeating the B117 outbreak
but wave 4 begins with the daily cases moving higher. The UK now deals with the
India B1617 variant. The UK daily new cases chart shown above displays the
rapid rise occurring for the new wave 4. UK PM Johnson wants to open the
economy on 6/21/21 but instead, Johnson, and all Brit’s, will be slapped silly
by coronavirus. The 3-day MA trend line for UK daily new cases bottomed on
5/3/21 and has been up ever since. Additional information is provided on the UK
after the country list below.
South Africa’s active cases chart is shown above with wave 3
in progress. Hopefully, they can get a handle on things and the wave will roll
over to form the bell shape.
Uganda’s daily new cases chart is shown above with cases
going parabolic. Africa, South and Central America and Southeast Asia need help
from the rest of the world although most northern hemisphere nations are lying
out on a lounge chair, soaking up the sun rays, and glad that the pandemic is
in the rearview mirror. Humans are narcissistic these days and spend a lot of
time concerned about themselves.
Malaysia is hurting and there is still a little bit of pain
remaining as the active cases chart above shows. The Keystone Model targets
6/9/21 as the peak in active cases so Malaysia should peak-out and begin to see
relief any day forward. The economy is hurting and perhaps the spread of
infections, despite the lockdown, is due to people having to work anyway to
support their families? Regardless, it will be a welcome sight for Malaysia to
see the active cases curve peak and roll over to form the bell shape.
Central and South America are hammered by covid. Paraguay’s
daily new cases chart is shown above with cases running higher non-stop.
Bolivia is the same. The central region of South America including Paraguay,
Bolivia, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina and Brazil is in bad shape.
US hospitalizations trend lower the CDC indicates the 7-dayaverage is now below the September lows. Hospital admissions also trend lower.
The charts are lower across all age groups so the overnight story about
hospitalizations rising for children may be anecdotal or the data considers it
insignificant or this study has yet to enter the data set.
For the United States, the Institute for Health Metrics andEvaluation (IHME) project 919K American deaths to date. This number is far
above the Worldometer data at 612K and Johns-Hopkins data at 597K dead. The
IHME is expecting the death rate to level off from here drifting slightly
higher to 940K dead by mid-August. The IHME obviously believes that the
‘official’ death data is undercounted and the US death numbers final tally will
be higher by a factor of 1.5.
President Biden’s goal of vaccinating 70% of the US adult
population by 7/4/21 is receiving daily media attention. Let’s run through the
math. The CDC COVID Tracker says 63.2% of the adult population is vaccinatedwith at least one shot which is 163 million people. This means that 258 million
Americans (163/0.632) are 18 years old or older (adults). 70% of 258 million
adults is 181 million adults that need vaccinated to reach Sleepy Joe’s sleepy
goal. Biden needs another 6.8% of adults to be vaccinated to reach his goal or 18
million adults (181-163).
Since there are children between 12 and 18 years old being
vaccinated as well, a few more million need to be added to the 18 million to
arrive at a total American dose rate number. Adding 3 million to the 18 is 21
million total Americans that are any age 12 and up that need vaccinated to
reach the 70% adult goal. Is that clear as mud?
The US vaccination rate has fallen to 1.0 million doses perday based on the 7-day average. That is unfortunate. The vaccination rate
cannot be maintained. People are throwing caution to the wind and frolicking
among the springtime flowers thinking that the virus is ending.
Thus, if 21 million Americans need vaccinated, of which
about 18 million are adults, and the vaccination rate is 1.0 million doses per
day, it will take 21 days to reach the Biden goal of ‘70% of adults with at
least one shot by 7/4/21’ which is Saturday, 6/26/21, with 8 days to spare. If
the vaccination rate keeps dropping, the target date will move closer to
7/4/21.
What is the lowest vaccination rate that can occur with the
president still achieving his 70% goal? If 21 million people need vaccinated to
reach the goal, and Independence Day is 29 days away, the 7-day MA vaccination
rate can drop to 0.7 million doses per day, or 700K per day, and President
Biden will still reach his 70% adult goal by July 4th.
At the current vaccination rate of 1.0 million doses per
day, how many adults would be vaccinated on July 4th when Biden enters the
hotdog eating contest? If the dose rate is 1.0 million shots per day and there
are 29 days until the festivities and goal deadline, that is 29 million people
vaccinated. But remember, some are the 12 to 18 age group and also some are
receiving second doses. Taking away 3 million and assuming the bulk of the
shots are first-time shots with folks finally jumping off the fence and
rolling-up sleeves, about 26 million can be added to the current 163 million
adults for a total of 189 million or 73% of adults (189/258) a 3
percentage-point beat above the goal.
The 70% target appeared much more easily achievable when
Biden announced it. The vaccination rate has fallen off a cliff. Biden’s ace in
the hole if the goal is slipping away is to pressure the FDA, CDC and everyone
else involved to provide official approval for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine
rather than emergency approval, since it is in use the longest, because the
commander-in-chief will then command the military to take the shot which will
add millions more adults to the vaccinated ranks. It is a political pandemic
folks.
The CDC vaccination rate chart is shown above. On the way
up, you see the stutter-step in February where the rate fell back. This hinted
that the vaccination rate may fall into a sideways consolidation pattern,
however, if you recall at the time, the vaccine supplies were still ramping up
and that was the limiting factor. The rate then broke out to new highs once the
vaccine supply issue was resolved.
The vaccination rate peaked at 3.4 million doses per day in
early April then fell away. On the way down, price bounced which hints that a
sideways consolidation pattern may begin which is great since it means that the
rate will at least not fall anymore. Alas, in late May the rate took out the
prior low so more trouble is expected and the rate continues to drop. The fall from 3.4 to 1.0 million doses per day is a -71% crash in the vaccination rate in the last 8 weeks! Look at a
couple of the paltry individual day rates in the chart way down at only 70K to 180K shots per day.
Oy vey!
Americans may believe the pandemic and virus threat is over
and are saying to heck with vaccines and masks. States are providing lotteries,
scholarships, hamburgers, doughnuts, beers and other incentives to get
vaccinated. The jury is out as to whether the offers will make a big difference
in the vaccination rate, or not. People are partying in Las Vegas and the only
masks you see are the ones laying on the sidewalks being stepped over. It may
be going out on a limb here, but it is doubtful that any of those folks partying
in Vegas are getting up early tomorrow morning for a vaccination appointment.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 34.2 million. India is nearly 29 million total virus cases. The
order of nations with the most total cases has not changed over the last few
weeks. The third highest total cases are Brazil almost at 17 million cases and
then France at 5.7 million and Turkey at 5.3 million total coronavirus cases.
Coronavirus has infected 173.5 million people worldwide. 3.73
million people have died. Fortunately, 156.3 million global citizens have
recovered from the China Flu. 90% (156.3/173.5) of the people that become
infected with COVID-19 recover in a reasonable time frame. This percentage has
improved by about 5 points over the last month. More young people may be getting
sick but they must be recovering faster. The 90% is the highest recovery
percentage of the pandemic.
Worldwide, 2.2% (3.73/173.5) of the people that are infected
with covid die. This number has sat at 2.1%-2.2% for many weeks. 1 in every 46
people that are infected with COVID-19 around the world, will die, and this
number is relatively steady. 10 days ago, it was 2.1% so it worsens slightly. Generally
speaking, for the world, the mortality rate from covid is at an impasse and
cannot be driven lower. This number flatlines at 2.1%-2.2% for months. It will
be a great day if it ever decreases.
2.3% (1735/76700) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 44 people on earth. The Wuhan
Virus has negatively impacted everyone on earth.
In the United States, 34.2 million people are infected with
covid. 612,265 Americans are dead from covid. 28.1 million Americans have
recovered from covid. This equates to 82% (28.1/34.2) of US citizens recovering
after becoming infected with COVID-19. The number increases by 4
percentage-points over the last month after spending several weeks flat.
As stated above, more young people are becoming sick and
likely recovering faster giving the recovery numbers a slight boost. The
recovery rate should be much higher but the rampant obesity in the US
guarantees that many folks contracting covid will breathe heavy, then die.
In the US, 1.8% (612/34200) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. This number remains sticky week after week but the vaccines are supposed
to reduce deaths. It is amazing how this number will not budge month after
month. And it is amazing that this statement has to be repeated article after
article. What gives? It will be a big deal when the 1.8% does drop.
The 1.8% equates to 1 in every 56 US citizens that are
infected with coronavirus dying. Interestingly, the 1.8% death rate is
stone-cold steady for months in America where the vaccine program is hitting
its stride. The death rate is at 2.2% globally which is higher than the US
reflecting the lower vaccination rates, less hospitals and less medical folks
to work at the facilities. And, also, of course, more people will die in poorer
nations than wealthier nations.
10.4% (34.2/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid. This percentage keeps moving higher
albeit at small increments. 1 in every 10 Americans (1 in 9.6 to be exact) have
been stricken with coronavirus. The minority communities are impacted disproportionately.
The United States has 20% (34.2/173.5) of the COVID-19 cases
in the world. 1 in 5 people that become infected with covid on planet earth are
Americans. The US vaccination program is making a difference. This percentage
was 22% three weeks ago so the drop is great news for the US but sadly, bad
news for other nations since their infection numbers are higher.
The US accounts for 16.4% (612/3730) of the China Flu deaths
in the world down about 2 percentage points over the last month. The trend is
clearly lower. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are
Americans. A month ago, it was 1 in 5. The numbers are going in the right
direction for the US but that means proportionally more people are dying
elsewhere such as India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Bolivia, Paraguay,
Argentina, Chile, Namibia, South Africa, etc...
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart curves will flatten-out and roll-over lower. This chart behavior
represents the maximum stress and strain on the medical system and healthcare
workers. Once the bell curve forms with active cases dropping dramatically, the
virus will be defeated, and healthcare workers can breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For authoritarian and
communist nations where the populations must do what they are told or they
receive a bullet in their heads, and for smaller nations, and many Asian
nations where citizens follow government rules without questioning authority, the
active cases curve will peak, on average, 11 days after the peak in new cases.
China, Singapore, Japan and South Korea are in this group.
Also New Zealand and Australia since the populations are scattered across the
countryside. Several Middle East nations are under authoritarian rule and the
peaks in the new cases are quickly followed by the peak in the active cases
chart. However, several of these nations are dealing with nasty new outbreaks
and waves so no country is ever safe from the virus until it is eradicated
everywhere, or burns itself out.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases (it takes 17 days longer, about 2
weeks longer, for a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or
authoritarian state).
During the last three months, the 11 and 28-day timeframes
compress slightly since more is known about handling coronavirus. Thus, a
couple days can be shaved off the current target dates. The Keystone Model will
not change since it needs to be consistent the whole way through the pandemic
in its approach.
The Keystone Model has a great track record over the last
year in predicting when the active cases curve flattens and the bell shape
begins to appear to ring-in the end to the pandemic. Healthcare workers cannot
catch a break until the active cases curve flattens and rolls-over forming the
bell shape. That is when the patient load substantially declines. The India and
Japan charts above show textbook bell-shaped curves.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily identified by the
bar charts provided by Worldometer and Johns-Hopkins. You see these daily new
cases bar charts on television news channels. The bar charts typically show the
7-day moving average (MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that helps you
identify the trend of the data.
The Keystone Model considers any subsequent high number of
daily cases occurring after the peak high to be the new peak high day, if it is
within 8% of the peak high on the bar chart. Is that clear as mud? If the daily
new cases are within 8% of the peak high, that day becomes the peak new case
date from which the 11 or 28-day period begins. This is why the daily new case
peak dates in the lists below may be a few days after the peak high that you
see in the bar chart.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes and more data and information become available to push the

Worldometer, Johns-Hopkins and CDC data track each other well with the
Worldometer data ahead of the Johns-Hopkins and CDC data by a few days. The
Worldometer data is far superior for forecasting since it is updated more
reliably in real-time.
The worst countries with rising or flat active cases charts
are highlighted below. The peaks in daily new cases are shown and the projected
peaks for active cases are based on the Keystone Model. The peak and flattening
of the active cases curve represents the maximum stress on healthcare workers. The
pandemic is not under control until the active cases curve flattens and rolls
over forming the bell shape. India and Japan are displaying bell curves on the
active cases charts so they are on the mend and no longer on the bad list
below.

Terrible news for the UK that reports 6.2K daily new cases the highest for the new wave 4 in progress. The India B1617 strain is slapping the UK that wanted to continue reopening the economy and relaxing pandemic measures. By the looks of the data and charts, that is not going to happen. As the wave 4 develops and worsens, PM Johnson is sleeping like a baby; yes, he wakes up every hour and cries. Johnson is likely not getting any sleep these days and it is not because of his young child’s restlessness. The UK has got big virus problems again.
Interestingly, the UK is pulling back its citizens
vacationing in Portugal (beautiful beaches) fearing that they will return
infected with a variant. The UK is imposing a 10-day quarantine on folks
entering the country after Tuesday so there is a mad dash to board an airplane
back before then. Amber lists, green lists, go, don’t go, Europeans are getting
fed-up with the stops and starts and never-ending pandemic confusion.
The UK wants to reopen its economy on 6/21/21. As they say
in Brooklyn, “Good luck wit dat.” Idiots. Humorously, albeit in the context of
a tragic pandemic, the UK does not want anyone to bring the variants ashore but
the India B1617 variant is already biting hard and the UK is already in a new
wave 4 outbreak. Dolts.
UK PM Johnson should have his pretty newlywed wife read him
the children’s story about a gardener placing fences and barriers to keep
rabbits out of his plants only to discover that the rabbit was already living
inside the garden. Ironically, Portugal should actually be more worried about
the UK citizens visiting their vacation spots rather than the UK worried about
citizens returning home from Portugal. The two nations are in a tiff after the
UK decision.
Peru reports a big spike in daily new cases but the data
remains unreliable. Columbia reports 30K daily new cases yesterday the highest
ever. Colombia is in serious trouble. Panama has deteriorated quickly. Cases
are rising in Guatemala. Venezuela remains a mess as many infected refugees
flock back and forth across the Colombia border. El Salvador remains
challenged.
Nepal creates the bell shape on its active cases curve so it
is on the mend and was removed from the bad list above. India continues to
improve but has not yet reported a sub 100K daily new cases day. Bangladesh
reports elevated cases the last few days and requires close watching. Sri Lanka
is having a tough time at stopping the pandemic with cases remaining stubbornly
high. Sri Lanka may have to be added back to the bad list next time. Myanmar
(Burma) reports a rise in daily new cases but the data from that country, under
a military coup, is unreliable.
Malaysia is not improving despite the lockdown (see chart
above). Perhaps citizens are not taking the lockdown seriously? Malaysia
remains in serious trouble but as the active cases chart shows above, the top
may be at hand. Cambodia is experiencing a spike in daily cases again and may
be added back on to the bad list next time. Indonesia is looking shaky with
daily cases remaining elevated but for now, the nation of islands is hanging in
there.
Philippines daily cases are rising slightly and not looking
good. Philippines may be headed into troubled virus waters again and the sad
part is it really has not ever pulled itself out from the prior outbreaks.
Philippines will probably be added to the bad list next time.
Bahrain’s active cases curve peaks and rolls over to form
the bell shape so the worst is over if they stay the course. Saudi Arabia and
Egypt remain challenged. UAE is looking shaky with cases rising. Kuwait reports
elevated daily new cases and will probably be added to the bad list next time.
Oman is seeing a slight rise in daily cases that requires watching.
Russia is not doing well for months with daily cases
remaining elevated day after day. The information and media is controlled by
Dictator Putin so the assumption can only be that conditions are far worse in
Russia than presented to the outside world.
Mexico’s data is looking ugly. Daily cases are beginning to
rise and the active cases curve is starting to curl higher. Mexico will likely
be on the bad list above next time. The infections from Colombia move into
Central America and then continue north into Mexico.
Japan continues to improve and the negative talk around the
upcoming Olympics in late July and early August becomes quieter. Japan has to
stay the course and the Games should go off fine. Let the athletes compete
since they worked to that goal for many years. Singapore reports a slight rise
in cases but the numbers remain small. Nonetheless, the Formula 1 car race is
cancelled due to the pandemic.
China remains unscathed by the pandemic, although the real
death numbers and other statistics will never be known. A small outbreak occurs in Guangzhou a port city in southern China. The communists are tracking
and tracing the virus and handling the outbreak.
India and Sri Lanka remain challenged and that extends
across Southeast Asia through Myanmar and on to Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and
Malaysia. Parts of the Middle East are dealing with outbreaks. The central
region of South America remains in horrible shape including Bolivia, Paraguay,
Uruguay, Brazil and Chile.
Northern South America, Colombia and Venezuela, remain in
bad shape and the infections are rampant in Central America now moving up into
Mexico. Parts of Africa, mainly southern Africa, remain challenged. South
Africa’s outbreak may trickle into Botswana. The nations of Tunisia and French
Guinea must also be watched closely. Ditto the DRC (Congo) where COVID-19 has sickened over 30 politicians including President Felix Tshisekedi.
The northern hemisphere is in good shape with more of its
populations vaccinated than the rest of the world and the summer season is
ahead which helps tamp down the virus spread. The southern hemisphere remains
challenged as the hotpots indicate and sadly, many nations are going into the
winter season.
Australia requires watching since they provide a heads-up
for the coming flu seasons in North America. The coronavirus behavior Down
Under over the coming weeks will provide hints on how the US pandemic may look
this coming Fall into the end of the year in America.
The next list focuses on the US with 11 states remaining
challenged. The peak in daily new cases and projections for the peak in active
cases is provided as per the Keystone Model. The flattening and roll over of
the active cases curve forming the bell shape indicates the virus is being
defeated.

Mississippi had a fourth wave that occurred so fast if you blinked you missed it. Mississippi daily cases drop again in recent days and the active cases curve is favoring the downside so it is removed from the naughty list above. Ditto Wyoming that saw a steady ramp higher in cases into 5/20/21 but bloop, the cases drop again and the active cases curve falls off lower.
The southern states and a few western states such as
Colorado are a major focus ahead since they represent the least-vaccinated
regions of the country. And the states that require close watching are
Louisiana, Mississippi, Colorado, Washington state and Hawaii. Alabama reports
a couple days of highly elevated cases which may begin a new wave. Alabama will
likely be added to the bad list above next time. It is one of those
less-vaccinated southern states.
Arizona is reporting a few days of higher daily new cases.
Missouri’s daily new case are moving sideways and those will need to move
lower. Nebraska is also another state to watch closely since its active cases
curve is not rolling over lower.
The seven US states at the top of the list are likely
underreporting the daily new cases. Their respective active cases curves head
higher and higher for months, while the daily new cases move lower in the same
time period. Math does not work that way. Either the active cases are way
overreported, the daily new cases are underreported, or a combination of the
two. The active cases are a more reliable number since hospitals, clinics and
so forth are directly treating folks and reporting same each day and week.
Politicians may be holding the true daily new case numbers
back so they look better to the constituents. Everyone knows that politicians
are soulless. Some states have changed the way they report daily cases as the
pandemic lingers on which may create discrepancies. The most obvious reason is
that the daily case counts are underreported.
The seven states at the top of the list will probably
disappear off the list over the coming couple weeks as the active cases curves
roll over. The USA is in great shape. Dirty politicians will exclaim in the
days or weeks ahead, “Oh my, heavens to Betsy, we found these 12K daily new
cases under the desk, sorry we did not report them earlier, and also this 14K
batch that fell behind the Xerox machine. Our bad.”
The summer heat begins which further helps the northern
hemisphere eradicate covid. Folks are outside enjoying the warm nights. Lovers
are promising the moon and the stars to one another which may lead to
disappointment 15 years hence. More time
outside and less time indoors helps tamp down the virus transmission.
The main concern is the southern states as the humidity
escalates and folks congregate indoors around the air conditioning. Louisiana,
Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas may be subject to breakouts in the days and
weeks ahead.
The 11 US states above need their active cases curves to
roll over. The top seven listed may disappear quickly once their active cases
curves roll over. People are socializing again feeling that the virus is in the
rearview mirror.
It is obvious that the doctors and scientists are concerned
that Americans think the pandemic is over. Here comes Fauci proclaiming, “It
ain’t over ‘til it’s over, and it’s not over, yet.” New York Yankees famous baseball Coach Yogi Berra,known for his witty and comical sayings, dubbed ‘Yogi-isms’, such as “it feels
like déjà vu all over again” said “it (the baseball game) ain’t over till it’s
over.” Fauci uses that line wanting folks to still think of him as the endearing kindly
ole doctor and witty gentlemen, like Yogi, so you will forget about the Wuhan
Lab leak, but Fauci ain’t no Yogi.
Fauci warns of another surge if the variants take hold. Of
course he does. Tony does not plan to quit over the Wuhan Lab scandal and the
liberal government will never fire him, so Lord Fauci will continue ruling over
the land far and wide. There are no consequences for decisions in today’s
society.
Employers continue complaining that they do not have enough
workers to meet demand as businesses reopen. The enhanced unemployment benefits
are ending over the next couple months so folks will slowly return to jobs.
That is not good enough. Half of the US states, republican states, strip away
the supplemental unemployment benefits to force workers to return to jobs a
month or two sooner than they would have. This action against common people
will only make the coming class war that much more violent and long-lasting.
The optimism in the United States is noticeable. People are
congregating more each day, without masks, and genuinely enjoying one another’s
company again. At least for the first get-together until you remember and
notice Bob’s nose-picking habit, Latisha’s horse laugh and Carlos's cheapness, but you also realize there aren't any blue ribbons hanging off you either. Nonetheless,
everyone is happy having fun together declaring the pandemic over and shouting
in unison, “America is back!”
Doctors, nurses, scientists and first responders cringe at
the euphoria worrying that the newfound freedoms will lead to superspreader
events but so far so good. The week ahead is important to see if the daily new
cases spike in the United States, or not. If daily cases remain low, people
will toss the masks in the trash, ignore the vaccine shot incentives and party
all night long. As Stevie sings, “If the House is a Rockin’, don’t botherknockin’, come on in. Come on baby, shake somethin’ loose. Daily new cases are dropping for 4 months and the active cases curve remains dead-flat; something is amiss in the California data. Overall, America is in great shape enjoying a great weekend of sunshine and warm weather. On the PGA Tour in Ohio, USA, professional golfer Jon Rahm is removed from the event after testing positive for covid. Rahm is only the fourth golfer over the last year testing positive for coronavirus and having to leave a tournament unfortunately he is leading the entire field by six shots. Former President Trump speaks last evening in North Carolina bashing Dr Fauci over the Wuhan Lab leak controversy and demanding that China pay reparations to the world.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 6/6/21, at 3:00 AM EST: A YouGov poll (Yahoo News), also provided at The Daily Caller, reports that 58% of Americans believe that coronavirus originated from the Wuhan Lab. That is 3 out of every 5 Americans. 77% of republicans (4 out of every 5 republicans) and 43% of democrats (2out of every 5 democrats) believe that COVID-19 started in the Chinese labs. Only 13% of Americans believe the virus started completely on its own naturally which is the narrative the majority of the press has been pushing the last year; until the bombshell report with the Fauci emails. The #FauciEmails hashtag is going viral on Twitter. The poll says 24% of Americans believe that China released the virus on purpose (1 in 4 Americans). 30% say it may have been released from the Chinese laboratories by accident (3 out of every 10 Americans). China needs to come clean about the origins of COVID-19. The communists owe reparations to the entire world. First Lady Jill Biden and Dr Fauci visit a vaccination clinic in Harlem (New York City). There is no sign of the Globetrotters which would have drawn a huge crowd. The UK reports more elevated daily new cases at 5.3K so the last few days are 4.3K, 5.3K, 6.2K, 5.8K and yesterday at 5.3K. The Brit's better hope wave 4 is the shortest wave in history, otherwise, things are going to get ugly for PM Johnson. Friday is typically the high day of the week for data which prints the 6.2K daily new cases. The weekend numbers are typically lower but they remain robust. The next couple-three days tell the tale for the UK now in wave 4. Paraguay reports 135 deaths yesterday the deadliest day ever. Malaysia reports 6.2K daily new cases yesterday the lowest since 5/19/21 about 2-1/2 weeks ago and well off the terrible 9K daily new cases record high on 5/29/21 a week ago. The small outbreak in the port city of Guangzhou in southern China remains a concern; it is turning into a bigger outbreak. Most of the new cases in Guangzhou are the India B1617 variant. The Yantian port is vital for shipments leaving the communist nation. Note Added Monday Afternoon, 6/7/21: The UK begins vaccinating 25 to 29 year olds. Wave 4 is underway in the UK but the Johnson administration is hesitant to provide the bad news to the Brit's. The UK economy is expected to reopen with great fanfare on 6/21/21 so PM Boris Johnson is in a pickle. He will have to provide the bad news to the population. Instead, the UK remains optimistic concerning the pandemic touting that hospitalizations are not rising. The leadership in the world is incompetent. One of the key things learned over the last year with the pandemic is that daily new cases rise first, then hospitalizations follow in a couple weeks, then deaths increase a couple weeks after that. Biden announced the 90-day investigation into the Wuhan Lab leak theory but obviously Sleepy Joe is hoping the situation will go away. It will not and all Americans should hope it does not. If US taxpayer money was given to a communist lab for gain of function research on viruses, basically providing the communists money to develop bioweapons against the United States, both Fauci and Collins need held accountable. Psaki runs interference labeling anyone asking questions about the lab leak or funding of the Chinese labs as propagandists. She says she does not want the briefing room to be a forum for propaganda. In other words, Psaki does not want reporters asking questions on the Wuhan Lab leak or the funding provided to the communists. It is obvious that America's crony capitalism system is in its last throes. Trump cheers Fox News for running cover and protecting him while Biden cheers CNN and MSNBC for protecting and promoting his decrees. Isn't it sickening?

It remains too high but it is great to see it under 100K and continuing in the right direction. India has been through a lot and will go through a lot more over the coming months. The mental pain of losing loved ones can be worse than physical pain, at least for a while, until you realize that your loved one would want you to spend your remaining lifetime happy and positive and not sad. India is offering free vaccines to all adults. For the last 3 days, Malaysia reports 84K active cases (not daily new cases), 87K cases and yesterday back down to 84K cases. Malaysia's active cases curve may have peaked on Sunday 6/6/21. The Keystone Model targets 6/9/21 and a top was expected this week. Hopefully, the top in the active cases curve is in and Malaysia will form the bell-shaped curve on the chart and tamp-out the China Flu. Malaysia should be happy since this is the best news for the troubled nation over the last month and more. Bolivia crosses the 15K deaths grim milestone and sadly Paraguay passes the 10K deaths milestone. The UK reports 5.7K daily new cases as wave 4 continues.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 6/8/21, at 2:30 AM EST: The US reports 12.3K daily new cases yesterday and 312 deaths. US vaccination sites are closing since people willing to take the shots are disappearing faster than doughnuts at a Weight Watchers meeting. Mississippi is dead last in vaccinations and also paring back vaccination facilities. The drop-off in the US vaccination rate is astounding. President Biden's goal of vaccinating 70% of the adult population with at least one shot by Independence Day looked like a cake walk when it was announced but no one saw the complete collapse of the rate occurring. In addition, people must be blowing off the second shot with more frequency since the democrat-leaning media (that gladly serves as a mouthpiece for the Whitehouse, CDC, NIH and WHO) is stressing the need for the second shot. The media is pumping the story that the first dose provides 51% protection so the second shot is absolutely necessary to provide full protection (90% plus). Prior protection percentages after the first shots of the 2-shot Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines were all higher than 51% for the entire pandemic, until now. The lower percentage may be a manipulated number reported the lowest of the entire pandemic as a means to incentivize people to return for their second shots. All news is manipulated nowadays. It appears that the vaccination program may be falling apart right before our eyes. Americans are sick of the pandemic, and taking note of the low daily infections, reaching the conclusion that the virus is defeated. It then makes sense that people are not concerned about getting vaccinated and those with one shot are avoiding the second shot which is known to bring on side effects in most recipients. The United States should ship more vaccine overseas since the demand is falling off a cliff. Doctors and scientists are quick to warn that despite the positivity, the virus will likely return in the Fall. They say booster shots may be needed for the vaccinated people and continue to tell everyone that is not vaccinated to get the shot. America seems to be moving on and ignoring the multi-month fear-mongering. After many months, people get sick of hiding under the bed. The CDC stresses that 89% of the people contracting covid now are unvaccinated. Duh. What else would be expected? The experts tell us that after two shots the person is protected about 90% plus from contracting covid. That tells you that about 1 in 10 new infections are going to be vaccinated people and about 9 in 10 will be unvaccinated. The 89% number is exactly what you would expect. The CDC is stressing the fact that the new infections are unvaccinated people to encourage people to get the shots. Everything, even a pandemic killing nearly 613K Americans, is a media game.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 6/8/21, at 3:00 AM EST: The CDC COVID Data Tracker reports 63.7% of US adults vaccinated which is 164 million people. This means there are 257 million US adults over 18 years old (164/0.637). The Biden goal for July 4th is 70% of adults so that is 180 million people (257x0.70). 16 million more adults need vaccinated to reach the goal (180-164). Unfortunately, as discussed above, the vaccination rate is falling off a cliff. The rate continues dropping like a stone no wonder the vaccination sites are closing. The US vaccination rate, based on the 7-day MA trend line, is 829K shots per day way under 1 million. Americans are saying to Hell with the pandemic and the vaccines. Biden's goal is officially in jeopardy. The 12 to 18 year age group is receiving vaccinations currently so the 16 million adults needed to reach the president's goal must be bumped higher to account for the youth shots and also second shots. Simply round the number up to 20 million shots needed to reach the 70% adult goal. At 0.83 million shots per day current rate, it will take 24 days to reach the Biden goal or July 1 (24/0.83). That's tight since the deadline date is 7/4/21. There are 26 days until Independence Day. At the 0.83 million per day dose rate, 22 million shots would occur by July 4th (26x0.83). If 20 million shots are needed to reach the 70% adult goal in 26 days, that would be a minimum vaccination rate of 0.77 million shots per day. If the vaccination rate falls further to 600K or 700K shots per day, Biden's 70% goal will not be achieved. Currently, 13 states have over 70% of the adult population vaccinated with at least one shot and all are democrat-leaning states. The democrats kneel and obey under authority. Rest assured there is pressure to provide official approval for the vaccines instead of emergency approval. Pfizer was first so it would make sense it is the first to receive official approval. This edict would allow the US military to make shots mandatory and the one-half of service members that do not want the shot will have to roll up their sleeves and take it. Experts say human to human transmission does not occur with this virus. The infected female was cleaning an unoccupied residence that likely has an active rat and rodent infestation. The rats are migrating to the suburbs, like the humans, since they go where the garbage and trash goes.
Note Added Tuesday Afternoon, 6/8/21: The Doctors Fauci, Walensky and Nunez-Smith join Andy Slavitt for a virtual briefing on the pandemic. This is Slavitt's final meeting. Current plans for vaccinations continue including getting shots into poorer areas. Walensky provides good news about decreasing cases and hospitalizations. Fauci is worried about the so-called Delta Variant, that Fauci then refers to as, "...B16172, which, in fact, as you know, originally was noticed in INDIA and dominated in certain states in INDIA...." Of course it did Fauci. It is the India B1617 variant. It will be funny each day forward hearing the talking heads stumble through their stupid delta, alpha, iota names. Organizations and people lose credibility when they do stupid stuff. Of course Fauci warns about a new variant because he immediately follows up with telling people to get vaccinated. Then he says the younger 12 to 20 year old's are most impacted by the new variants and again his solution is telling the youth to go get vaccinated. Funny how each anecdotal piece of information ends with the conclusion that you should get vaccinated. Lord Fauci, who does not receive any questions from the liberal press about the Wuhan Lab leak or the funding provided to the commie labs, next coaxes people to get their second shots. Both the Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are only 33% effective against variants after one shot but the Pfizer is 88% effective after two shots and the AstraZeneca is 60% effective after two shots. Fauci concludes that everyone should make sure they receive the second shot. Of course he does. America continues to improve daily and people are believing that the pandemic is finally over. This is why the vaccination rate is dropping like a stone and people are blowing-off the second shot which typically offers more side effects than the first shot. On news shows, the internet and in print, the same funny outcomes are occurring where people mention the alpha, or the delta, and then have to state the country or region name anyway (which is what the Einstein's at the WHO were trying to eliminate with the stupid Greek alphabet names for viruses). It makes you laugh out loud. Even Fauci references India after he says Delta Variant. The WHO is actually forcing people to say the country and region names more not less due to the confusion. Note Added Wednesday Morning, 6/9/21, at 1:30 AM EST: Global coronavirus cases total nearly 175 million with the Wuhan Virus killing nearly 3.8 million people. What a horrific pandemic that started in China. Despite the covid hot zones occurring around the world, the daily new cases and daily deaths for the globe is dramatically improving. In a couple more weeks, both metrics should display their 7-day MA trend lines at lows going back to last summer which is a huge positive for the world. Brazil reported its second highest daily new cases on 6/2/21 a week ago. There was worry that conditions would deteriorate but during the following days into today, Brazil's cases are falling off again. India reports 91K daily new cases a second day sub 100K. The world is moving in a positive direction following America's lead. Malaysia, you are looking good. The Malaysia active cases curve (see above chart) peaks and rolls over the last couple days. Start to form that bell shape and you will see dramatic improvements in the days ahead. The Malaysia hospital workers will not notice a difference right now but in a few days they will notice the caseload dropping and in a week or two there will be a noticeable improvement in Malaysia's healthcare system as long as they stay the course. Japan's daily new cases drop to 1.3K the lowest in 3 months. The USA is relaxing travel guidelines for 110 countries including Japan that will carry out a great and safe Olympics. Good luck to the athletes. The Olympics naysayers are finally shutting their traps and quieting down. The UK reports 6.05K daily new cases the second highest number (6.2K daily new cases on 6/4/21) of the ongoing fourth wave. South Africa forges ahead with reopening its economy despite the ongoing wave 3. The officials must be confident that the wave 3 will roll over and die quickly (a good thing). Indonesia cases continue rising creating an ugly picture for the days and couple weeks ahead. Indonesia is accelerating the vaccination program as cases rise.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 6/9/21, at 1:45 AM EST: The total China Flu cases in America are 34.2 million and the deaths cross 613K. That is immense hardship the CCP has inflicted upon the USA and the entire world. The US reports 13.5K daily new cases. The 7-day MA trend line is at 14.4K cases and slightly higher than the last few days. You do not want to see that since it forecasts that the trend is developing into a sideways move rather than further downside. COVID-19 will be around for a while but it should fade into the background of daily lives. The 3-day MA trend line for US daily new cases (the squiggly trend line) is printing its lower lows and lower highs maintaining the downtrend but a major test now occurs. The 3-day MA is coming down again and now at 11.6K cases. The prior low for the 3-day was 11.3K on 6/2/21 a week ago. Thus, to maintain the downtrend in US cases, we need a lower low on the 3-day MA and today's data will tell the tale. That 11.6K needs to drop sub 11.3K which would forecast that the 7-day MA trend line will roll over again and resume its downtrend. If the 3-day MA trend line does not make a lower low, a sideways pattern will be verified with daily new cases going forward. The 3-day MA has gloriously printed 8 lower highs and 7 lower lows. We need the lower low again to maintain the downtrend in daily new cases. 401 Americans die from coronavirus yesterday and the 7-day MA is at 419 deaths starting to curl a hair higher which is not good since, like the daily new cases, it hints that a sideways malaise is developing in the data. Overall, America remains in great shape but that baseline of 2K to 10K daily new cases may linger a few weeks. In a population of 330 million people, it begins to not be a worry. People have lives to live and are sick of the virus. It is summer and it's time to visit Party Town saying goodbye to the pandemic chaos, confusion, misinformation and incompetent management. Washington state is the latest to offer a wild vaccination incentive; one joint (a marijuana cigarette) will be given to anyone getting vaccinated. Get high on the shot, man.

Healthcare workers in Texas and Indiana are threatened to take the vaccine or they will be fired. In other words, kneel in front of your master and be vaccinated or you are terminated. Welcome to America. A group of nurses at Texas Methodist have filed a lawsuit fighting their suspension and firing for not wanting to take the vaccine at this time. The nurses say the vaccine is different than taking the flu shot each year and they do have a point because the shots are experimental and only 'emergency approved'. The vaccines are not 'officially approved' so the courts may consider this fact. America splits into a vaccinated and unvaccinated society. One-half of the country supports the nurses and the other half does not. Interestingly, since over one-half the country is vaccinated, many people that took the shot are supporting the nurses rights to not want the shot now and instead wait a while. Americans see less risk from COVID-19 each passing day and are ready to move on in life. The question about employers mandating shots for workers remains unanswered. The courts will likely have to decide the issue this summer before the school year begins. The summer concerts scheduled thus far are selling-out but only open to people that have been vaccinated. Well, isn't that a fine how do you do? Maybe the unvaccinated folks will have another Woodstock this summer to celebrate life? The unclean and unwashed unvaccinated would let vaccinated folks join the fun but the elite vaccinated want nothing to do with the filthy huddled masses that choose not to be vaccinated. The Biden administration is likely orchestrating a major push behind the scenes to at least get the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine 'officially-approved'. Sleepy Joe has the FDA and CDC in headlocks, shining a lightbulb into their eyes, beating them with a rubber hose, demanding the official approval be provided immediately. Most employer lawsuits would evaporate into thin air with official vaccine approval and the employer typically has the upper hand in lawsuits anyway (a company can fire a worker for any reason). Also, Biden would reach his goal of vaccinating 70% of the adult population with at least one shot by July 4th because official vaccine approval allows the military brass to tell the troops to roll up your sleeves whether they want to or not. The millions of military vaccinations would put the president over top his goal. Right now, with only emergency approval for vaccines, the military cannot force all troops to be vaccinated.

That is good news. Biden leaves for a trip to the G7 (top seven Western nations; US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan) meetings in the UK and will also visit Europe and then meet with Dictator Putin in Geneva before coming home in a week's time. Biden says he has a vaccination strategy for the world and a plan to end the pandemic by December 2022. The president stresses that the India B1617 variant (delta) that is multiplying in the UK is also in the US. Of course Biden then says the solution is for everyone to be vaccinated so 'go get your shot'. UK Secretary of State for Health Hancock is concerned about the new outbreak with the cases mainly the India B1617 variant (delta). Hancock says it is important to know the origin of coronavirus. The US is negotiating with Moderna and Pfizer to buy vaccines for foreign nations. Some J&J vaccines may go bad if the doses are not used within 2 or 3 weeks. The Johnny John vaccine pause due to blood clot issues has made many folks prefer one of the other vaccines. The Pfizer and Moderna shots have problems with myocarditis (heart inflammation) appearing in young people and studies are showing the occurrences are more than would be expected. The Whitehouse does not currently have a strategy about taking vaccine back from states and sending the doses to other countries such as Haiti that are in desperate need for help, or, if they do, it is not in the public domain. Humorously, the government will probably just extend the expiration date of the vaccine and say problem solved.
Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 6/9/21, at 12:00 PM EST (noon): NIAID Director Dr Fauci is making the rounds to all the friendly news shows such as liberal-leaning networks CNN and MSNBC. The doctor looks pale. The pressure of the Wuhan lab leak controversy and funding for the communist labs must be taking a toll. The democrat media, however, which includes broadcast television (ABC, CBS, NBC) is running cover for Fauci and doing a good job shielding him from criticism coming from the right-leaning media such as Fox News, Newsmax, OAN and Breitbart, and talk radio. Comically, the Whitehouse announces that the J&J vaccine shelf life is extended from 3 months to 4-1/2 months an extra 6 weeks. Thus, the expiration dates of 2 to 3 weeks are now 8 to 11 weeks. Voila. If something with a shelf life will expire, simply extend the shelf life. If the carton of milk in the refrigerator says drink before yesterday simply cross that out with a Sharpie and write in an August date. The J&J vaccine was only 2 weeks away from being called medical waste, but now it is good to go for at least another 8 weeks. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine remains potent for an extremely long time. Tests are underway verifying the potency level over time; this is standard fare for all vaccines. Despite the joking around, the vaccine has legitimate solid testing behind the FDA's decision to extend the shelf life and do not be surprised if the 4-1/2 months is bumped up to 6 months in the near future. The US suspends shipments of the J&J vaccine due to low demand. The doctors and scientists are making it up as they go along. There is nothing wrong with that since we are trying to control a once in a century pandemic. The problem is that the officials managing the pandemic think projecting an image of always being right and correct and all-knowing is important. It is not. That is a disaster. Instead, owning up to every fork in the road is important and people will believe and follow you if you are on the level, but once you are exposed telling half-truths about things, people view you as dishonest, untruthful and a bozo. Many people in power, however, are incapable of being self critical of themselves or able to admit they made a mistake. Some justify their actions because they say they are married and have a family to support; that is a pitiful excuse. Look at King Donnie Trump; he's the poster child for this behavior and all the other politicians on both sides fit the bill as well.
Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 6/9/21, at 1:00 PM EST: Fauci is given an entire half hour of media airtime on the liberal-friendly MSNBC cable news network the show is hosted by Chuck Todd. Right off, Todd refers to the Wuhan lab leak theory and communist lab funding issues as a "conspiracy theory." This passes for journalism in America. You can see the country is lost. Todd then throws the obligatory bone to the lab leak theory saying it may be remotely possible only to cover his butt. Dr Fauci is serious in his interviews today not the happy-go-lucky man of months past. Issues must be weighing heavy on his mind and perhaps as a way to save his reputation, he is remaining focused on the pandemic news as to steer away from the lab leak and commie lab funding issues. The US vaccination rate is slowing down. Fauci calls people "cold-hearted" that are unvaccinated. Talk like this is not helpful to the country. Lord Fauci decrees who is worthy of his praise and who is not. Derogatory remarks will never win-over people to your way of thinking. Fauci says 13 states are 70% vaccinated but many are sub 50% vaccinated. The 'get vaccinated' droning message continues. Todd throws Fauci softball questions since they are buddies; it is a mutual admiration society. Fauci says, "You make an extraordinary point, Chuck." A skilled interviewer would probably pick Fauci apart on the lab leak theory, communist lab funding and finding out what was going on at the NIH, CDC, Wuhan Labs and other agencies, a few years ago. The softballs continue and Fauci decrees, "... the most likely origin (of COVID-19) is a natural one." There it is. Lord Fauci says look at this shiny bobble over here and do not pay attention to the Wuhan Lab over there, they are all fine scientists after all. As an after thought, Fauci says he does not rule out the lab leak theory but makes no mention that he pooh-poohed the lab leak theory for the last year and his actions led to calling people conspiracy nuts that would mention that the virus may have leaked from the lab. Todd says the Chinese vaccines may not be as good as others so this proves that China did not release the virus (because they would have had a better vaccine ahead of time). Pause for laughter. Fauci proclaims that he has an open mind but at the same time decrees that the virus origin is natural. When Todd puts on his big-boy pants and asks a pointed direct question, Fauci becomes defensive and plays the victim. The good doctor says, "Everything I say gets taken out of context, not by you (Chuck)." He used the same line the other day; it must be a new go-to tag line for the Fauch. Will someone please tap Tony on the shoulder and tell him that his own words prove that he is no longer an effective communicator and should probably step down. If you are supposed to communicate pandemic news, and admit that everything you tell people is twisted and misunderstood, then it is time for a new communicator. Fauci plays the 'everybody is out to get me' card and wants everyone to not forget how he has been a loyal public servant for decades and spearheaded many of the AIDS efforts. What was going on at those Wuhan Labs? It must be more serious. Fauci should come clean about what he knows about the Wuhan lab funding and safety issues at the lab because the information will come out in a drip, drip, drip fashion anyway. He will remain in the news, with a new tidbit uncovered each week about the labs, and Fauci will be lambasted and dragged through the coals. He would be better off to rip the band aid off quick and take his lumps. If the US funded China's sick bioweapons projects so be it. Chalk it up to being duped and move on to where it will never happen again. Fauci is knee-deep in the trouble, however, since he may have approved the Wuhan Lab to handle dangerous viruses in a lower level security setting. Investigations are needed to find out what happened. Fauci stands on a soap box, with index finger pointed skyward, proclaiming that "the attacks against me are painfully ridiculous" and he cites the GOP (Grand Ole Party; republicans; conservatives) as the instigators making the situation completely political. Todd flies the Fauci banner over his head praising the doctor for his "consistency." That is the funniest statement of the interview. Fauci is the complete opposite of consistent. He has flip-flopped on the pandemic issues many times. Humorously, when there is conflict in the messaging, daily, he, and others, will say, "follow the science." It is similar to when a person is losing an argument and ends up trying to label the person winning the argument, with solid facts, as a racist. Society has become sick. If you question any comment from officials on the coronavirus pandemic, you are shouted down as not following the science, and you are anti-scientist, and anti-patriotic, and toss on racist too. It is funny in a Dave Chappelle way. The interview ends with a disturbing proclamation by Fauci saying "if you attack Doctor Anthony Fauci, you are attacking science." Oh my. You have to feel bad for someone making a statement like that. Give it up Tony. Ask yourself, why does a man spend a half-hour on cable news defending himself, trying to dispel the Wuhan Lab leak theory and steer people away from the commie lab funding, when all he has to do is completely support a detailed investigation into the matter that would answer the questions? When the pandemic information becomes all about you rather than the coronavirus, it is time for you to go.

Even in Fauci interviews he keeps saying, "...the Delta variant, which started in INDIA." The whole purpose of the WHO's stupid move with new virus strain names was to stop people from naming the strains after countries and physical locations. What dolts. Some people now think these alpha and delta variant names are new and totally different virus strains. That is funny. Put simply, the US downtrend in daily new cases is over and a sideways malaise begins. It was great to see the daily new cases trend lower since the first lower high occurred on the 3-day MA in early April. It has been 2 months of joy but now America will bump along sideways for a while with the daily new cases. As the 3-day MA moves higher it is important that it makes a lower high since that verifies a sideways move ahead, and potentially further downside remains on the table, but a higher high in the 3-day says the US will be under siege from covid again with a new outbreak potentially developing. The top in the 3-day MA should occur over the next couple days so the answer will be known quickly. Tenpenny has written a book titled, "Say No to Vaccines" so it is obvious what angle she is coming from. She talked about people becoming sick with different ailments after being around someone vaccinated. She says the vaccine will interface with 5G technology. Tenpenny said the vaccines magnetize people and a registered nurse Joanna Overholt placed a key on her neck saying it sticks but it kept falling away. She did get the key to stick for barely a second but the stunt came across as a parlor trick. Tenpenny's proclamations are wild but there are many people that eat her cooking. The US government, now dominated by left-minded thinkers, wants to take action against vaccine misinformation but who is the person that decides what is misinformation and what is not?

The 3-day MA for US daily new cases is at 14.3K and rising. The prior high for the 3-day is 18.2K on 6/4/212. The 3-day MA will peak today or tomorrow and we need it to top-out below 18.2K since that will forecast a sideways move ahead for daily new cases and potentially more downside. If the 3-day MA pokes above the 18.2K level as it tops-out, that would be bad, and place a rise in cases on the table going forward. The cases are a bit elevated in recent days at the 13K to 17K range but if that is all that is thrown at us after the euphoric celebrations and folks walking around maskless all over the place, that will be great news. Further downside in cases would then be expected once the data and charts digest the maskless parties and reopening of the US economy. Americans are moving on looking at COVID-19 in the rearview mirror as the medical folks keep warning about the India B1617 variant (delta). Many people are sick of worrying and decide to start living again (which means listening to the medical experts less). The southern states are in focus as the summer heat intensifies. Note Added Friday Afternoon, 6/11/21: The New York Times reports that the FDA orders Johnson & Johnson to toss-out 60 million vaccine doses due to potential contamination at the Emergent BioSolutions plant in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. That is terrible news since the vaccine cannot be sent to other countries. 10 million doses are salvaged and can be sent to nations in need. The plant is plagued with safety violations but this has gone on for many months. Fix it, jackasses. America's mediocrity is on full display daily. Concern increases over the myocarditis cases in young men and boys after taking the 2-shot mRNA vaccines. Moderna says it has not found a link between its vaccine and the heart inflammation problems. There is a small number of people impacted, 80 cases out of 250 million shots, however, it may number in the hundreds. A couple of news sources say there are 226 myocarditis cases. That is not good. Especially since the myocarditis is mostly impacting the key demographic of young American men. To see 'only' 16.1K daily new cases is a positive outcome. Today's and Sunday's numbers should be small. Give it a few more days but despite all the businesses reopening and Americans interacting like pre-pandemic, the daily case numbers remain in check. If this positive situation holds, the US will likely resume the downtrend in daily new cases. The 3-day MA for US daily new cases is at 16.1K and should print its peak today and it needs to stay below 18.2K. Alabama and Louisiana require close monitoring. Discrepancies are appearing in the California data which is no surprise. About 400 deaths in one county are reversed and not credited to COVID-19. How do you know what is a violation? You will know when they decide it is and ban you. Johnson is an abrasive dude, hard right, a Trump boot-licker, so of course YouTube, that is left-leaning, is ready to pounce on any little excuse to ban him. Johnson is controversial but YouTube calls out his references to hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin as the reason for the temporary ban. That is wrong. YouTube obviously needs to talk to some real doctors about the two drugs. Several medical studies have shown that hydroxychloroquine is effective as a pre-treatment and an early-stage treatment for COVID-19 but then is found to be completely useless if the virus worsened for the patient. Thus, in this political pandemic, the democrats and liberal-leaning media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washington Post, Bloomberg) grasp-on to the middle and late-stage results where hydroxychloroquine is proven to be useless and proclaim it to be snake oil in every way (they lie), while the republicans and right-leaning media, such as Fox News, Newsmax, OAN, Breitbart and talk radio, glam on to the pre-treatment and early stage proven benefits of hydroxychloroquine and say the drug is a super treatment for COVID-19 in every way (they lie). As usual, the truth is in the middle. That is why young people are smart for registering to vote as independents in huge numbers; they realize how corrupt the two-party crony capitalism system is in America. Ivermectin is put to huge use across South America. Ditto Africa. As bad as the continents are hit with coronavirus, it would be orders of magnitude worse without ivermectin. WaPo then slams ivermectin but it is in reference to people taking the animal version of the drug and nothing to do with the human treatment. Note Added Saturday Evening, 6/12/21: An article in the Wall Street Journal Opinion Column by Steven Quay and Richard Muller reports that the COVID-19 pathogen likely did not develop naturally. Its genetic footprint is not what would be expected in a natural coronavirus. The article states that the virus mutated in the least-expected direction opening the door to a mutation created by gain of function research (making a virus worse in a laboratory setting so it can be studied with the intent to prepare for a future pandemic although the research can also be used to develop bioweapons as part of a military program and bioterrorism). The Chinese scientist providing initial reports on the virus did not mention these key details about the origin of the virus that the dirtbag obviously knew. Communists lie and they did not want the Wuhan lab leak theory to become the predominant news. Despite the liberal-leaning press trying to protect Fauci and Collins, more information about the origin of COVID-19 will surface over time. The most plausible explanation for coronavirus, if you review the current information and think subjectively, is that the bug was likely being manipulated by scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, with US scientists such as Fauci aware of the gain of function research occurring, and then the virus either escaped accidentally or on purpose from the lab. One of the key Chinese military men involved in their (CCP) bioweapons program joined the Wuhan Labs before all the trouble started. Folks, if it sounds, smells and tastes like a duck, its a duck. What does all this mumbo-jumbo mean? The US daily new cases are in a sideways malaise pattern but the door remains fully open that the downtrend can resume. The slight bump in daily new cases the last few days is due to the increased human interaction after the CDC relaxed the mask guidelines for vaccinated folks (lots of unvaccinated folks are ditching masks as well even though the doctors and scientists cringe at this thought). This is important since some are not bothering to seek treatment which may promote the spread of the virus. Apple stores in the US are going maskless although the clerks will wear masks. Most stores have already adopted this policy. The unvaccinated people are still supposed to wear masks in indoor settings under the CDC guidelines. The G7 meetings end and a communique is released. It is Sunday data which is usually the lightest of the week but we will take victories and good news every chance we get. After a few days of flattening, the US daily new cases appears poised to begin moving lower again which is more good news. Americans are becoming more relaxed about the pandemic with each passing day. The US vaccination rate has steadied in the 800K to 1 million shots per day range for the last 2 weeks which is better than going down. This rate will allow Biden to attain his goal of vaccinating 70% of the adult population with at least one shot by Independence Day that is only 21 days away (3 weeks). 64.4% of the US adult population is vaccinated with at least one shot or 166 million Americans. The data will be submitted to the FDA during Q3 (July, August, September) and millions of doses will be available by the end of Q3 if approval is received. It would be a fourth vaccine in the US arsenal along with Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna and J&J. NVAX stock jumps +9% at the opening bell but then settles back up +2%. German biotech CureVac provides good news on its drug trials so CVAC jumps +3% higher. PFE (Pfizer) drops -2% and MRNA (Moderna) collapses -8% in early trading since the competition just expanded. JNJ (Johnny John) trades flat.

NVAX trades down -3% a -12% intraday turnaround and ends the day down -1%. Erck proclaims, "The boosting (booster shots) story is going to be around for years to come."
