Food Banks Need Help

Here we go again in America. Sleepy Joe Biden's inflation is creating bigtime Hard Times on low-income folks. The food banks are hurting seeing a steady increase in need over the last few weeks with the busy conditions starting to feel like the early months of the pandemic in 2020.

People working low-paying jobs cannot afford the gasoline to commute to and from work. Food costs are also dominating the limited budgets. Inflation hurts the poor not the rich.

Thus, it is time for you to clean the pantry at home or in your apartment. Clear away the canned vegetables that have been sitting on the shelves for a while. Put them in a box with pasta and other non-perishable items. Drop them off at the local food bank. You can go buy new stuff at the grocery store to restock. The people in need greatly appreciate the food. Some tell stories about their predicaments and that is how you learn about America.

Some of the most desired items the food banks can use are peanut butter and canned or pouched tuna, chicken or salmon. Protein is important to give people energy and keep their minds sharp and positive. Heavier soups and stews are also in demand. Boxed meals such as macaroni and cheese and hamburger helper are needed. Also, cereals.

So get to cleaning your cupboard today. When you clear the stuff out, it is easy to get the shelves whistling clean and ready for the new stuff. Help people out. Some day you may be Alone and in need, shocked that it happened to you. If you went to bed hungry as a child, it is something you will never forget your entire life.
