200 Americans continue dying from COVID-19 each day 2-1/2
years into the pandemic. President Biden is equally incompetent at handling the
virus as former President Trump. How
many of the deaths do you think are wealthy people?
The average American does not know that if they test
positive for covid with a home test, they have a 5-day window to seek EARLY
TREATMENT. Ask some people that question today. EARLY TREATMENT is the key to
recovering from COVID-19.
Both Trump and Biden have failed at properly educating the
public on the available treatments and therapies and where to go for help. The
Whitehouse can say that Pfizer’s Paxlovid anti-viral oral pills are readily
available but that is at best a half-truth.
Patients may be denied the pills if past the 5-day window or
if they are not old enough or if they are not deemed worthy by a hospital rule.
It is sickening. Maybe the government wants the public to get used to rationed
health care?
People need to be told repeatedly that free covid tests are
available at www.covid.gov. Some folks, especially
the poor and disadvantaged, may need their hand held. They do not have fancy
computers or understand today’s technological world. Unintelligent people in
government assume that everyone has a computer and smartphone when about 15% (1
in 7 people) of the United States population are luddites (not interested in
owning and using technology). It is a lazy government approach to tell
Americans to “go to the website.”
If you test positive for COVID-19, immediately reference the
Therapeutics Locator and find out where the Paxlovid pills and bebtelovimab mAb
infusions are offered near your residence and discuss this information with
your caregivers. Time is of the essence with a 5-day window. If a doctor tells
you to go home and monitor your temperature and oxygen levels and call them if your
symptoms worsen, ditch that bozo and find a doctor that can help you. Pass this
information along to your friends and loved ones.
It is a disgrace that the people handling the pandemic
cannot properly educate and treat the public. 200 stiff covid bodies stack up
at the morgue each day while Sleepy Joe Biden is lying in the sun on Rehoboth
Beach eating ice cream and yucking it up with friends and family. When are the
COVID-19 deaths going to end or at least be reduced to a small number? The
treatments and therapies that will reduce deaths are known but Biden is
distracted by his climate change agenda that is creating inflation and killing
the economy.

friends, coworkers, family and anyone that tests positive for China Flu. Meet
that 5-day window so the government cannot use this excuse against you and
withhold Paxovid like the soup Nazi refusing your soup order. No Paxlovid foryou!
The Memorial Day holiday weekend over a week ago was party time
so the daily cases today and tomorrow will provide the final clues as to
whether the weekend turns out to be a superspreader. It does not appear so.
America’s herd immunity (gained through vaccinations and natural antibodies) is
doing a great job at beating back the BA2 Omicron Subvariant little sister wave
7.
The US reports 54K daily new cases yesterday. This number
would be far higher if the prior weekend’s parties created increased
infections. The US appears in great shape without seeing a bump in cases after
the Memorial Day events and parties.
Keystone’s big shindig 9 days ago in southwestern
Pennsylvania, USA, results in no one catching COVID-19 and partiers ran the
gambit from the unvaccinated, like Keystone, to the triple vaccinated, like
Nurse Goodbody, and even quadruple vaccinated folks. The pandemic is fading
from people’s minds replaced by worried discussions about Biden’s inflation
mess and high gasoline prices.
The United States is trying to turn the corner on the virus.
Massachusetts and Vermont rolled-their daily new cases over to the downside and
more importantly they flattened and turned the active COVID-19 cases lower to
begin forming the coveted bell shape. 9 more states join this happy camp as
highlighted below with the US state list.
The US daily new cases chart is shown above with the 7-day
MA peaking from 5/22/22 through 5/26/22, at 112K cases per day, now down to 83K
cases per day; a 2-week downtrend in daily new cases. At this juncture,
America’s BA2 little sister wave is far smaller than the European waves.
The peak in US daily new cases is 131 cases on 5/19/22 that
is now 19 days in the rearview mirror almost 3 weeks past. The news is positive.
The 3-day MA trend line for US daily new cases prints 2 new lower lows and one
lower high verifying the ongoing downtrend in daily new cases.
The US active cases chart is shown above. The coveted bell
shape needs to form before the all-clear signal occurs. US active cases are
floating higher at tiny increments trying to flatten-out at 2.9 million cases.
There is no joy until the active cases roll over lower and verify that the
virus is being defeated.
US hospitalizations are trying to flatline at 21K patients.
There were near 150K hospitalizations during the peak of wave 6 in mid to late
January. The news is encouraging and optimistic but the rollover in active
cases is needed.
The US daily deaths chart is shown above with deaths
leveling-off at 200 souls per day. America can and should do better. 212
Americans die yesterday from COVID-19. The death rate is the lowest since the
start of the pandemic but it remains far too many deaths when Paxlovid and
bebtelovimab are proven treatments that can save lives. American mediocrity is
on full display daily.
Daily new cases lead the covid parade followed by hospital
admissions, then hospitalizations, then deaths. Perhaps in a week’s time, the
US death rate will begin descending again. There was only a small blip in
deaths for a couple days for wave 7, a negligible amount, so the sideways path with
deaths should continue followed by down. COVID-19 culls the elderly population
so the Social Security system will remain solvent longer.
New York’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The Empire
State serves as a BA2 poster child and the news is great with daily and active
cases charts rolling over to the downside. New York can be taken off the bad
state list. The 7-day MA for daily new cases is down to 6.4K cases per day
after the peak above 10K cases per day on 5/12/22 now 26 days ago almost one
month.
New York’s daily new cases peak on 5/12/22 so adding 28 days
as per the Keystone Model targets 6/9/22 for the peak in active cases which
actually topped-out in late May so about 18 days rather than 28 days. The BA2
wave is flushing through the system at a fast pace. New York covid deaths
remain steady and subdued at a pace of 24 deaths per day.
Florida’s daily new cases chart is shown above and it
remains in a knockdown drag-out fight with the BA2 Omicron Subvariant. In
addition, BA2’s sick buddies, the BA4 and BA5 sublineages, are rearing their ugly
heads in the Sunshine State. About 60% of Florida’s daily cases are BA2 so the
Omicron Subvariant remains dominant.
The 7-day MA for Florida’s daily new cases is over 10K cases
per day trying to flatten without success. Do you chalk up the difficulty in
Florida, as compared to New York, to the BA4 and BA5 bugs, or, more infections
due to Memorial Day partying. It is likely the latter. People flock to
Florida’s beaches for fun in the sun but there is covid hiding in those
neon-colored bikinis. It is important to see Florida’s daily cases level-off in
the days ahead.
Texas’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The BA2 wave
is underway in the Lone Star State with daily and active cases rising. The
7-day MA for daily new cases is ramping higher to 6.3K cases per day. The 3-day
MA is printing higher highs and higher lows verifying the ongoing uptrend in
cases. Texas slides down the BA2 Omicron Subvariant rabbit hole. Beware the
covid condiments at the barbecue party.
California’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The 7-day
MA trend line is down to 10.5K cases per day and dropping. The 3-day MA is
printing lower lows and lower highs verifying that the daily cases curve has
rolled over. California’s active cases are trying to flatten out at 477K cases
compared to 482K cases 3 days ago. The charts paint an optimistic path forward
and deaths remain tame at 18 souls per day in the Golden State.
Louisiana’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Last
summer, the southern states were hit with the delta wave 5 starting in July as
folks congregated indoors in the air conditioning escaping the sweltering sun,
heat and humidity. Over the last month, so-called experts warn about the same
scenario repeating this year but that is odd since the US is in the middle of
the BA2 wave 7.
It would be far smarter to forecast that the southern states
will be hit now with BA2 and perhaps virus conditions will actually be
improving in July and this scenario is starting to play out. Louisiana,
Mississippi and Alabama are seeing daily cases rise so their BA2 waves are
underway.
Louisiana is at 1.2K cases per day ramping higher. The 3-day
MA is printing higher highs and higher lows verifying the uptrend in cases. The
active cases curve also runs higher which is lousy news but at least the deaths
remain negligible. Louisiana needs to educate folks on how to home test and
where to seek treatments such as Paxlovid. Folks are partying in New Orleans
without a care in the world.
Speaking of the world, the planet is at 494K COVID-19 cases
per day and dropping. The world’s daily new cases chart is shown above. It is
nice to see the infection rate sub 500K cases per day again after the couple
weeks of elevated cases due to North Korea (DPRK). The planet’s daily new cases
are headed in the right direction again; down.
The world’s daily new deaths chart is shown above. 1.17K
earthlings are dying per day on the planet from China Virus. It will be great
to see a sub 1,000 deaths per day number maybe this month. The death rate is
back at levels not seen since the early days of the pandemic. Over time, the
virus is becoming more contagious but less virulent which is expected.
Taiwan’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Taiwan may
finally be turning the corner with the 7-day MA trend line of daily new cases
dropping to 72K cases per day from the peak at 82K cases per day 10 days ago.
Sadly, 132 Taiwanese are dying per day from China Virus. The deadliest day of
the pandemic is last Saturday when 152 Taiwanese died.
China’s outbreak improves if you can believe the numbers.
Beijing is without a new infection for 4 days. The dirtbag CCP conveniently
does not state that there are new cases every day in the quarantine facilities.
North Korea’s (DPRK) daily new cases chart is shown above. Daily
new cases spike to near 400K then retreat down to 84K cases per day and
dropping. 33% of the COVID-19 cases in the world, 1 in 3, are in North Korea
and Taiwan. 50% of the world’s coronavirus cases, 1 in every 2 infections, are
in North Korea, Taiwan and the United States. Only 3 countries account for
one-half the global cases.
South Africa’s daily new cases chart is shown above. It is
the poster boy for the BA4 and BA5 sublineages and a harbinger of what may appear
in the states this Fall; or actually far sooner the way things are going. BA4
and BA5 have traveled south across the Canada-US border into New York and are
now appearing in Florida. The infection waves may be washing across the world
at a faster rate.
South Africa’s wave 5, representing BA4 and BA5, is spanked
down faster than the previous 4 waves. The 7-day MA trend line for daily cases
drops below 2K cases per day. Wave 5 is over.
South Africa cases started popping higher mid-April, peaked
on 5/11/22, and then returned to the prior wave level or lower now. Thus, about
25 days up to the peak, then down for 23-ish days; let’s simply call it up 25
days and down 25 days for the BA4 and BA5 wave that runs for a 7-week duration.
South Africa’s behavior is telling the world that the BA4 and BA5 wave is no
biggie.
Brazil’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Brazil
reports 41.4K new cases yesterday and the 7-day MA is up to 31.1K cases per day
and rising. Brazil’s new outbreak wave is underway.
South America is hit or miss when it comes to the new
infection waves. Argentina was hit and is recovering. Chile remains under the
gun and now Brazil tosses its hat into the covid ring. Central America nations
are battling outbreaks. Costa Rica remains in trouble. The infections move
north with Mexico beginning an uptrend in daily new cases; it is added to the
bad country list below.
Chile’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Chile is at
8.2K cases per day and rising; not good. Perhaps Chile can turn the corner in
the days ahead and follow Argentina’s path. Argentina is rolling the daily
cases over to the downside but active cases continue higher.
The global COVID-19 hotspots are North Korea, Taiwan, US and
Chile with covid trouble beginning in Brazil.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 86.6 million. India is next with 43.2 million total virus cases.
Brazil, France, Germany, UK, Russia, South Korea, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Vietnam,
Argentina, Japan and Netherlands round out the top 15 worst nations. This
ranking is steady for 2 months without changes with the exception of Japan
leap-frogging Netherlands a month ago.
COVID-19 has infected 536 million people worldwide. China
(the CCP) owes reparations to the world for its crime against humanity. 6.32 million
people on Earth are dead from the China Flu a grim statistic. 507 million global
citizens have recovered from the virus. 95% (507/536) of the people that become
infected with COVID-19 recover in a reasonable time frame. Worldwide, 1.2% (6.3/536)
of the people that are infected with covid die; 1 in 85.
7.0% (536/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 14 people on earth. 0.08%
of the world’s population (6.32/7670) died from the pandemic; 1 in every 1,214
people on earth died from China Virus.
In the United States, 86.6 million people are infected with covid.
1.033 million Americans are dead. 82.7 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus.
This equates to 96% (82.7/86.6) of US citizens recovering after becoming
infected with COVID-19.
In the US, 1.2% (1/86.6) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. 1 in every 87 US citizens that are infected with coronavirus die. Thus, if
you are infected with China Virus in the United States, you have about a 1 in
90 chance of dying. 0.3% (1/330) of Americans have died from COVID-19 which is
1 in every 330 Americans over the last 2-1/2 years.
26% (86.6/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid; 1 in every 4 Americans (3.8 to be exact).
The CDC says one-half the US population, 50%, have been infected by COVID-19
and have some level of antibody protection. The US is doing a good job at holding
wave 7 at bay so herd immunity must be playing a role (vaccination and natural
antibody protections).
The United States has 16% (86.6/536) of the COVID-19 cases
in the world. 1 in 6 people that become infected with covid on the planet are
Americans. The US vaccination program made an impact month’s ago, but not so
much in recent weeks and months.
The US accounts for 15.8% (1/6.32) of the China Flu deaths
in the world. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are Americans.
A year ago, it was 1 in 5 so vaccinations helped a little bit.
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart will flatten-out and roll-over lower. The active cases chart is the
‘flatten the curve’ chart that represents the maximum stress and strain on the
medical system and healthcare workers. Once the active cases chart rolls over
forming the bell shape, the virus is being defeated and healthcare workers can
breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the daily new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For communist nations where
the populations must do what they are told or they receive a bullet in their
heads (China), and for smaller authoritarian nations (Eastern European
countries, Africa and Middle East nations), and many Asian nations where
citizens follow government rules without questioning authority (South Korea,
Japan, Singapore, Australia), the active cases curve will peak, on average, 11
days after the peak in daily new cases.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases. It takes about 2 weeks longer for
a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or authoritarian
state because lockdowns are not strictly followed or enforced.
All projections below for countries and the US states
continue to use the 11 and 28-day periods for forecasting for consistency. When
the peak in daily new cases occurs, if a subsequent day is within 8% of that
peak top, it is identified as the peak in daily new cases day in reference to
the Keystone Model.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily seen on the bar
charts provided by Worldometer, the CDC and Johns-Hopkins. The daily new cases
bar charts are shown on television news channels with a 7-day moving average
(MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that identifies the trend.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes and more data and information become available to push the
China Virus story forward. The Coronavirus Chronology identifies the real-time

cases are shown and the projected peaks for active cases are based on the
Keystone Model. The peak and flattening of the active cases curves are
extremely important since it represents the maximum stress on healthcare
workers and the medical systems.
It will take longer for the active cases charts to roll over
to form the bell shape for the troubled nations at the bottom of the list since
they are still experiencing highs and peaks in their daily new cases.
Hospitalizations lag the daily cases by a week or two and deaths lag
hospitalizations by a week or two.

China is off the bad country list but skepticism remains since the communist nation’s numbers cannot be trusted. North Korea is not on the bad list since the active cases are dropping like a rock. There is a tiny increase in cases in Israel but that may be due to changes in their reporting methodology.
It is a shame that Portugal is not reporting its data since
the BA4 and BA5 bugs are accounting for some of the infections. Portugal can
serve as a poster boy for the BA4 and BA5 sublineages along with South Africa’s
wave 5 but they will have to update the data. Maybe the reason the data was
halted was because it reflected the BA4 and BA5 sublineages? You never know
nowadays since most everything is untrustworthy.
The United States battles wave 7 which should have a happy
ending over the next couple weeks. The US list below provides insight into
which states remain in the covid quagmire. The United States and world are improving
and likely gaining the upper hand against COVID-19.
The next list shows the 39 troubled US states. The peak in
daily new cases and projections for the peaks in active cases are provided as
per the Keystone Model.
The flattening and roll over of the active cases curve
forming the bell shape (see US active cases chart above) indicates the virus is
being defeated and the caseload on healthcare workers will quickly improve.
Healthcare workers are not under duress with wave 7 like prior waves.
The dates for the states to peak with active cases are
slipping into the first couple days of July but wave 7 will likely wrap up in
the states in the back half of June.
The active cases charts have rolled over for 11 states
including the northeastern states that were hit first by the BA2 wave.

Vermont and
Massachusetts were taken off the bad list 10 days ago. Vermont has a mini
resurgence that will need monitored but it should not amount to anything. Thus,
2 plus 9 more is 11 states that have improved over the last couple weeks with
39 remaining on the naughty list. 3 weeks ago, all 50 states were on the bad
list so an improvement down to 39 states is a great move in the right
direction.

list above show active cases curves that are already flattening and trying to
slump over so many of these will likely drop off the list in the coming days.

Subvariant wave 7 is moving through the northeastern states first (Vermont, New
Hampshire, Maine, New York) since it infected these regions first. The virus
moves towards the southern states with the bottom of the bad list populated
with Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida.
West Virginia and Virginia are also fighting increasing infections.
Several western and
southwestern states are in trouble including Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Nevada,
Arizona and New Mexico. Northern states Montana and South Dakota are battling outbreaks.
The silver lining in US wave 7 is that deaths remain in check and people are
not getting as sick as prior waves.
The United States
BA2 Omicron Subvariant little sister wave 7 is on the run. All 50 states were
dealing with the BA2 outbreak wave 3 weeks ago but this drops to 39 states. 11
states, including the New York BA2 poster boy, show active cases curves rolling
over to the downside starting to form the coveted bell shape proving that they
are defeating the virus.
Quadruple-vaccinated
Pennsylvania democrat Governor Wolf contracts COVID-19 for the second time. You
have to laugh. A guy that is booster-boostered, and also already had covid, so
he has the super-immunity the scientists peddle to encourage mRNA vaccinations,
is now sick with China Virus again.
Wolf is isolating
with mild symptoms and from his sick bed he proclaims that the 4 shots are
preventing him from becoming seriously ill. Pause for laughter. This is
science? It is more like science fiction. Even 4 mRNA shots and natural
immunities from a prior infection, did not prevent Wolf from getting sick.
Would the same mild symptoms outcome occur if he was not vaccinated?
The FDA is
considering an emergency authorization for the non-mRNA Novavax vaccine. The
Novavax vaccine is a 2-shot regimen with the jabs 3 weeks apart. It is a
recombinant nanoparticle protein-based serum containing an adjuvant (immune
response enhancer).
Unvaccinated
Americans may be more receptive to the Novavax non-mRNA vaccine. The J&J
non-mRNA vaccine was a bust. 2-1/2 years into the pandemic and the United
States has still not been able to provide a conventional vaccine for treating
COVID-19. Perhaps today that wait ends.
Keystone remains
unvaccinated throughout the entire pandemic ordeal keeping the immune system
healthy with vitamins and supplements such as turmeric, zinc, D-3, C, E, selenium,
quercetin, butterbur and others as well as following preventive treatment
protocols laid out by doctors that have treated patients in the trenches such

The FLCCC doctors
provide great information that can be discussed with your doctor and
caregivers. Implementing the vaccine only strategy in the US is one of the major
mistakes of the pandemic. Useful treatments and therapies are dissed to this
day by ignorant people unwilling to educate themselves and others.
The US government
had to denigrate the other treatments (from their perspective) because vaccines
could not be given emergency approval if other treatments and therapies exist.
It’s a corrupt country, folks.
The positive
takeaway from Article 79 in the ongoing Coronavirus Chronology series is that
the US wave 7 is diminishing. There is more work ahead for the southern states
and others in the west and north but the daily cases countrywide are
diminishing for a couple weeks and the active cases may roll over lower any day
forward. The activity in Texas and Florida is key since they are
highly-populated states.
Wave 7 may be the
last major infection wave for the pandemic in the United States as COVID-19
transitions into the endemic phase like the seasonal flu. The first day of
summer is 2 weeks away and the United States should be in great shape
pandemic-wise ready for fun in the sun. Keystone is already walking around in

the use of the 2-shot Novavax vaccine for treating COVID-19 in adults 18 years
old and older. The vote is unanimous 21 to zero with 1 abstention. The FDA will
likely accept the advisory committee’s decision and grant the emergency
authorization although several members are unhappy that better data is not
available for the vaccine handling omicron. The FDA has to grant emergency
approval and then the CDC provides its blessing so Novavax shots in arms may
only be days away. NVAX stock catapults +24% higher. Big Pharma dances with glee.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 6/8/22, at 8:00 AM EST: The US reports 81K cases for Tuesday a great number since it is below the 7-day MA trend line at 91K cases per day and is a mid-week number that would be expected to be higher. US deaths are nudging higher at 242 souls per day. Florida's infection wave continues higher at 10.8K cases per day. The BA4 and BA5 bugs are at play creating the slight wave extension higher. The BA4 and BA5 sublineages are appearing across the southern states but remain in generally low numbers compared to BA2. Over the last week in the US, the CDC says the BA4 and BA5 subvariants increase from 7% of the new cases to 13%. US experts expect the BA4 and BA5 strains to dominate BA2 in the days and weeks ahead. Perhaps what is more likely is that the BA4 and BA5 infections will roll into the ongoing BA2 infection waves in the US, creating extended upside, like Florida, but then rolling over and fading away in short order. Texas's daily new cases rise to 6.6K cases per day the highest for the new wave 7. California takes a turn for the worse reporting over 16K cases per day the last couple days and the 7-day MA is up to 16.4K cases per day wanting to break out higher. America's path forward is going to depend a lot on the southern states where BA4 and BA5 are showing their ugly faces along with BA2.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 6/8/22, at 9:00 AM EST: The world bumps along at 500K new infections per day and 1.2K global citizens dying from China Flu each day both key metrics in happy downtrends. 1 in every 5 COVID-19 deaths in the world each day are in the United States. Smack. Brazil reports over 71K daily new cases yesterday the most since early March. The new infection wave is clearly underway in Brazil with the 7-day MA ramping higher at 35K cases per day. It is Brazil's turn in the covid pickle barrel. Brazil is a massive country so an increase in daily cases will likely bump the world's cases higher for a few days or week or two like North Korea. Argentina is holding its daily cases at bay but Chile's cases continue higher at 8.3K cases per day. Mexico's cases continue higher at 2.9K cases per day. Taiwan and North Korea continue improving with daily cases but at a snail's pace. The people have spoken. 25% of the democrats do not trust Biden and Fauci to handle monkeypox properly, 83% of republicans, and 61% of independents. The CDC raises the alert level for monekypox to Level 2 recommending that Americans wear masks on public transportation. That is stupid. Unless you plan to take your clothes off and rub up against another passenger that also agrees to don their birthday suit and participate in sweaty comingling becoming members of the Mile High Club, you have nothing to worry about. Monkeypox is not airborne; it transmits mainly through sexual contact. The CDC loses more credibility; there must be a lot of stupid people working there. Brazil reports 50K new cases yesterday adding to Tuesday's 71K cases. Chile worsens reporting 11K cases the most for the current wave. The Chinese people are tired of the zero-covid routine but it will continue under Xi's rule. Keeping it in context, the US case numbers for wave 7 remain small compared to the larger waves 3, 5 and 6. Some cases are not reported due to home testing. The stubbornness of the 7-day MA trend line preferring a sideways posture as opposed to down is likely in part due to increased infections from holiday parties and would be expected to roll over lower in the days ahead. Also, the BA4 and BA5 subvariants are at play in a few states especially in Florida and the southern states, so these 2 sublineages may be creating small bumps higher in cases. Three highly-populated states, California, Texas and Florida, see a rise in cases sending the overall US cases higher. The case data for the remainder of the week takes on a new urgency. The US wave 7 of daily new cases peaks on 5/26/22 at 131K cases (the data is subject to small revisions that bumps the numbers to and fro). It would be disastrous for cases to top 131K today or tomorrow. Friday is typically the biggest number day of the week so if America can make it through the next couple days with cases at or below 100K, the downtrend should resume. The WHO says the Wuhan Lab leak theory concerning the origin of COVID-19 should be further investigated. Hollow words. The WHO lies in bed with the CCP trying to cover-up the lab leak and gain of function research during the first year of the pandemic. Under public pressure, the WHO performed the dog and pony show in 2021 sending a team of buffet-eater's to Wuhan to investigate the origins of coronavirus. No one got their hands dirty. Chile reports 13K cases the most for the current wave. Chile cannot catch a break with the 7-day ramping higher at 9.6K cases per day. Portugal finally updates its data after hiding in the basement for the last month. Portugal is important because it has a lot of BA4 and BA5 infections and can serve as another test case along with South Africa that defeated the BA4/BA5 wave in 7 weeks; the daily new cases rise for 25 days then drop for 25 days. Portugal's 7-day MA trendline for daily new cases falls to 17K cases per day so the country is on the downside of the daily cases wave. Portugal's peak day for the current wave is 38K cases on 5/17/22 so the BA4/BA5 dominant wave runs from mid-April to mid-May, then drops off continuing lower. Portugal is repeating the South Africa example where the BA4/BA5 wave runs about 25 days higher, peaks, then runs 25 days lower. Some regions of the US, such as Florida and other southern states, are seeing increases in the BA4 and BA5 cases so their daily cases waves may extend for an extra week or two due to dealing with these two sublineages in addition to the BA2 Omicron Subvariant.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 6/11/22, at 4:30 AM EST: The US reports 93K cases for Friday and the 7-day MA is at 103K cases per day continuing sideways. Although an elevated number, the 93K is a welcome sight. The important peak days of the US wave 7 of daily new cases are 131K cases on 5/19/22, 132K cases on 5/26/22, and 132K cases on 6/3/22. Thus, any cases above 132K would be a disaster. The peak is the prior Friday so the drop from 132K cases to 93K cases week on week is great news and shows that the upward trend is weakening and cases are likely going to roll over lower. The peak day last week was Wednesday, 6/8/22, at 120K cases again, nowhere near the 132K peaks. Keystone has shown over the last 2 years that 8 days is a sweet spot incubation period for identifying superspreader events. Thus, counting forward from the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, 5/30/22, places 6/7/22 as the eighth day after, with cases at 109K, and 6/8/22 is the ninth day after the holiday, at 120K cases. The bump in infections occurs exactly as expected but the move is subtle, not enough to call the Memorial Day weekend a superspreader event, but the data clearly show that there was a bump in cases following the memorial events and parties. US active cases are up to 3.2 million cases but the rate of change higher is slowing again; a good thing. US wave 7 is not defeated until the active cases curve rolls over to form the coveted bell shape. 236 Americans continue dying day after day from COVID-19 while Biden plays on the beach and appears on comedy shows. Arizona cases rise to nearly 2K cases per day but the data has stopped over the last few days. Florida reports 12K cases yesterday which is a good number because the peak is 14K cases on the prior Friday. Florida's 7-day MA trend line continues higher at 10.6K cases per day but at a slower rate. Florida was originally hit with BA2 starting in April through May but the BA4 and BA5 bugs are likely extending the wave a few extra days or week or two. Texas crosses the 7 million total COVID-19 infections milestone with cases rising at 6.4K cases per day. Thwack. California is slapped in the face with nearly 21K daily new cases on Friday and the 7-day MA is running higher at over 18K cases per day. The Golden State is tarnished with COVID-19 infections. Over 1 in 5 new cases in the US, 22%, are in California. Florida accounts for 13% of all new cases so the Golden and Sunshine States are dull and dark instead of shiny and bright creating over one-third of the new COVID-19 infections in America. Florida and California are two key vacations spots so perhaps 'all those tourists covered with oil', as Jimmy sings Margaritaville, are spreading infections.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 6/12/22, at 9:00 AM EST: The democrat news outlets such as CNN are reporting that 67% of America is in the medium or high risk infection areas. Wrong. The CDC Community Transmission map displays 10% of US counties at high risk and 33% of counties at medium risk for a total of 43%. Where did they get that fear-mongering number? Here you go. The CDC issues a bulletin on top of the web page that says a data problem occurred on Saturday so perhaps that is why the incorrect information is being given to the public? Who knows? It is a confusing and chaotic pandemic under both Trump and Biden; Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber. American mediocrity is on full display daily. The CDC added a comment at the top of the web page that states, "Maps, charts, and data provided by CDC, updates daily by 8 pm ET." No they don't. The FDA says the Moderna vaccine is safe and effective for kids 6 months to 17 years old laying the groundwork for potential approval next week. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is already in use for children 5 years old and older but Moderna has lagged because of the myocarditis (heart inflammation) and other side effect issues. Americans are far more concerned about the inflation that is running out of control due to Biden's war on energy. Gasoline prices are at record levels from $5 to $10 per gallon depending on location. Businesses are getting squeezed as consumers pull back since more of their money has to go into the fuel tank. High gasoline and diesel prices hurt retail spending. Bungling President Biden is trying to destroy the oil-related industries and he believes his misguided climate change agenda is going along swimmingly. Inflation hurts the poor more than the rich.
Note Added Monday Morning, 6/13/22, at 5:00 AM EST: French pharma company Valneva SE crashes -22% on news that the European Commission is terminating their contract agreement because the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has not yet approved the drug for commercialization. Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline say their next generation vaccine is effective against the Omicron Variant and better than other offerings. World stock markets are crashing. A Black Monday is in progress. Major US stock index futures are down over -2% after dropping over -5% last week. The Federal Reserve meets Wednesday to raise interest rates to stabilize the economy but the higher rates will push America closer to recession. The 2-10 yield spread inverts again (the US 10-year yield slips to 3.16% below the 2-year yield at 3.18%) this morning which forecasts that a recession is coming in the weeks and months ahead. US stocks remain in a bear market. Public opinion sours when they see their savings dwindling away.

The focus this week will be on how Florida, Texas, Arizona and California handle the BA2 wave 7, which is now morphing into a BA2/BA4/BA5 wave 7. The 7-day MA for US daily new cases drops nicely to 84K cases per day from the 100K per day perch late last week but the jury is out until this week's daily cases are known. The 3-day MA for US cases continues printing lower lows and lower highs an encouraging sign that maintains an overall downward path for cases. US active cases slip a hair from 3.21 million cases to 3.13 million over the last couple days hinting that the curve may start to flatten (good news). 213 Americans die from China Virus yesterday. Florida's daily new cases dip to a rate of 9.4K cases per day. This is encouraging news since the peak at 14K cases on 6/3/22 is now holding for over 1 week. Texas cases are trying to move sideways at 6.3K cases per day but remain in shaky shape since 8.3K cases occurred on 6/9/22 the highest for the wave thus far. Texas cases on Thursday must come in sub 8.3K to prove the wave is rolling over. Southern states such as Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia show cases rising but the numbers remain small compared to the initial BA1 omicron wave 6. Arizona has not updated their data since Wednesday when the cases numbers started popping higher.

Chile remains in bad shape with cases running higher at 10.4K per day. Oh no. What is going on in France? A new wave is starting with cases ramping higher at 30K cases per day. There is only one news story on the new outbreak in France reported by The Connexion that quotes Professor Antoine Flauhault, a leading epidemiologist, proclaiming that the virus "appears to be starting a new wave." Note Added Tuesday Morning, 6/14/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The United States reports 49K cases for Monday a happy number. The 7-day MA of daily new cases has rolled over down to 85K cases per day. US active covid cases are trying to flatten-out at 3.1 to 3.2 million cases. 209 Americans die from China Virus yesterday. The elite class in charge does not care because they are not the ones dying; they receive Paxlovid immediately. Florida, Texas and California remain challenged but the daily cases are at least trying to move sideways instead of up. New Mexico worsens at over 900 cases per day. Illinois is rolling its daily and active cases curve over to the downside so the state is on the mend. Ditto Pennsylvania with the active cases chart starting to form the desired bell shape to prove that the virus is being defeated. Alaska may be slipping into a bit more trouble. The US bag remains mixed as the CDC Community Transmission map highlights the blotchy outbreaks across America. Note Added Tuesday Afternoon, 6/14/22: On this Tuesday Afternoon, the FDA recommends the Moderna 2-dose vaccine for children between 6 and 17 years old. The CDC will take a look aat the FDA's findings and provide further recommendations for the emergency approval. The shots are based on the pre-omicron strains so it is unclear how effective the jabs will be on the new subvariants. Moderna says a third shot will provide added protection and that data will be provided to the FDA in the weeks ahead. The data does not show an increased incidence of myocarditis in the young folks but parents remain skeptical. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has been in use for the 6 to 17 year age group but the Moderna jabs have been delayed due to concern over heart inflammation and other potential side effects. Pfizer halts the enrollment for standard-risk patients into its Paxlovid drug trial. The stoppage is based on an Israeli study that finds Paxlovid effective for reducing hospitalizations and deaths in those 65 years and older (high-risk) but not for the middle-aged standard-risk folks. Huh? Sounds like hocus-pocus. Think about it. Over 200 Americans continue dying day after day from China Virus as Sleepy Joe stumbles around the Rose Garden looking for his hat. To put it in perspective, Pfizer and the medical talking heads are telling Americans that if all those patients dying each day from covid were given Paxlovid in a timely manner, like the privileged elite class that immediately receives the anti-viral oral pills if they test positive for covid, that not one of their lives would be saved. Bull sh*t. It makes no sense. Over 200 souls die per day from COVID-19 in the US and the Whitehouse and Pfizer say oh well, the pills would not have saved not one single one of them. It is stupid talk. in addition, 'the study' says Paxlovid magically works in older folks but when you cross a mystical age line, at 65 years old, the pills no longer work. Something smells. Manufacturing Paxlovid is a tricky business and time-consuming to get the batches just right. If one step of the process goes bad, the batch is toast and it is start-over time. Maybe the Whitehouse, Pfizer and CDC, all lying in Big Pharma's feather bed, cannot supply the amount of Paxlovid that Biden promised one-half year ago. A lot of months have passed. If the Paxlovid is not available in adequate supplies, it is convenient to say 'a study' now says it is not needed rather than potentially coming clean and stating that after many months the Paxlovid production remains at a snail's pace. Everything is dishonest these days so you never know what to believe. Pfizer and the Whitehouse would be wise to supply the exact data and numbers on how much Paxlovid is available, where it is at, and what is in production. 1.2 million courses of Paxlovid have been administered in the US and that would be over the last 8 to 10 months which equates to 4K courses given out per day this year. There are 31 million COVID-19 cases this year in the US, in 49 weeks, thus, about 91K cases per day. Remember, the BA1 wave 6 was nasty. It is shameful that about 90K Americans have been infected with China Virus per day this year but only 4K courses of Paxlovid are provided each day (and most of the anti-viral oral pill treatments likely went to the wealthy connected class). It is convenient that 'a study' now shows that Paxlovid is not effective in standard-risk patients when it has only been available and treating about 4% of the people testing positive for coronavirus this year. The Paxlovid news appears too cute by half. If you are older and contract covid, pray that it is on your 65th birthday because then Paxlovid will save your life so you can see 66 but if you are one day short of your birthday, you're a goner because the pills will not work. The story stinks and smells but taken on face value, 'a study' says Paxlovid works in high-risk older folks but not in anyone else. Perhaps the Whitehouse is playing more games with the vaccine-only strategy telling folks that Paxlovid is not effective hoping folks will opt for vaccination. The United States has been throwing out vaccine, wasting taxpayer's money, because of the waning interest in the shots. Hey jackasses, take the taxpayer's valuable money and put it towards something that can save their lives like Paxlovid and monoclonal antibody treatments while paring back with the vaccine-only strategy. On the positive side, deaths are at the lowest since the start of the pandemic over 2 years ago. India and Brazil report increasing daily cases. Chile remains in trouble. France's daily cases pop higher with the 7-day MA up to 38K cases per day heading higher. Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, UK and now also Italy show increasing cases although the numbers are small relative to the prior big waves. Note Added Wednesday Morning, 6/15/22, at 6:00 AM EST: The US reports 72K cases yesterday a welcome sight since it will help pull the 7-day MA at 87K cases per day lower. 211 Americans die from covid yesterday but the Whitehouse and Pfizer say Paxlovid would not have saved any of their lives basing their potentially erroneous conclusion on 'a study'. Daily cases continue sideways or higher in Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona (data is a week late) and California. Cases pop higher in Louisiana to 2.4K cases yesterday the most since February. Cases rise in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and other southern states. Kentucky cases pop to 3.3K cases yesterday the most since February. Although the news is not ideal, the number of cases remain small in magnitude compared to the prior big waves and many of the daily cases charts are showing a preference for sideways rather than up. A rising curve has to move sideways before it can roll over and head lower. The next 3 days of cases are key in determining the path ahead for the United States and its battle against BA2, BA4 and BA5. The BA4 and BA5 sublineages account for about 1% of the US cases in early May. By the end of May, 2 weeks ago, BA4/BA5 account for 8% of the cases. Last week, it was 13% and this week 21% of the US cases are BA4/BA5. Thus, the rate of change is 5 percentage points a week ago and now 8 percentage points. The trend higher is increasing at a steady rate but not going exponential. The BA4 and BA5 bugs, especially BA5, are muscling into BA2's action. Fortunately, the severe COVID-19 illnesses, hospitalizations and deaths are far less than prior waves although a hairy eyeball must be maintained on BA5.

The flu season is extending into the summer with children showing up at hospitals with a multitude of viruses and infections including the adenovirus and rhinovirus and influenza and parainfluenza. That's not all. The RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) and human metapneumovirus cases continue at a steady pace and some kids contract coronavirus. The medical authorities did a lot of harm to children with their edicts based on political narratives rather than science. Sweden never locked down schools or forced kids to wear masks and the children are doing great these days. Epidemiologist Michael Mina says the seasonal shift in the flu and virus season is likely due to the lack of exposure to common viruses. The medical authorities succeeded in making the kids sicker.

The pandemic remains a 2-1/2 year mess.

The CDC will review the FDA recommendation and provide guidelines and final approval in the days ahead. CDC Director Walensky opens her top desk drawer to retrieve the rubber stamp. The scientists and doctors say the two vaccines provide the same performance so it does not matter which you choose to have injected into your toddler's body downplaying the fact that Pfizer is a 3-shot vaccine and Moderna a 2-shot jab, and both will likely require boosters a few months out. The kids that receive the Pfizer vaccine will receive three ice cream cones. The Whitehouse has already ordered 10 million doses ready to jab those tiny arms. COVID-19 does not pose any significant threat to children although vaccine proponents will counter that the disease may cause long-covid in kids or other health complications. Parents have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages with their doctors. Of the miniscule number of American young people under 18 years old that have died from China Virus, the whole lot either had serious (other) illnesses and/or were suffering from childhood obesity. Many doctors may be hesitant to recommend the multiple shot series to parents of healthy vibrant active normal kids. If you are the parent of a chubby kid, teach them good eating habits as they grow so they do not end up like you; help them get into the habit of eating a salad at every dinner meal and encourage physical activity even walking if that is all they are motivated to try. Parents are holding their breath waiting for Queen Walensky to decree emergency approval for the vaccines for toddlers (under 5) and to provide useful practical guidance that will help them decide if the vaccine route is the right path forward for their very young child and family. The US reports 99K cases yesterday so the stubborn wave 7 for daily cases is not yet ready to roll over.

Note Added Thursday Afternoon, 6/16/22: Florida is the only state that did not preorder the COVID-19 vaccine for children under 5 years old. The CDC is expected to rubber stamp the FDA's recommendation (probably Saturday) granting emergency approval for the Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna vaccines for toddlers especially with the Whitehouse inserting itself into the process proclaiming that the jabs can begin on Tuesday. Republican Florida Governor DeSanits, that has presidential aspirations, receives heat for the decision to not preorder the vaccines for children but taking fire is nothing new to the man that may be sitting in the Oval Office come January 2025. DeSantis decrees, "There's not going to be any state programs that are going to be trying to, you know, get covid jabs to infants and toddlers and newborns. That's not something that we think is appropriate, and so that's not where we're going to be utilizing our resources in that regard." DeSantis proclaims that the "risks outweigh the benefits" when it comes to vaccinating children (the FDA scientists say kids should get vaccinated since the risks outweigh the benefits). His claims are valid as per the data (the COVID-19 deaths in children under 18 years old are miniscule and the kids that have died had one or more underlying serious health conditions such as cancer or diabetes and/or suffered from childhood obesity) but he is attacked because he is not following the general medical guidance espoused by the Washington, DC, eggheads that have made numerous mistakes over the last 2-1/2 years. Florida parents that are gun-ho for injecting the mRNA serum into tiny arms will be able to do so at hospitals, doctor offices and clinics. Infections are rising in the southern border states and Mexico creating buoyancy in the US cases. Cases continue bumping higher in southern states such as Louisiana as people flock indoors to escape the heat and humidity. Unfortunately, folks indoors breathe more of each other's air, including Uncle Bob's garlic breath, helping covid find new hosts. New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and other states that were first hit with the BA2 wave and/or the BA2/BA4/BA5 wave continue sending their daily cases lower. The southern states are America's covid hotspot; a summer wave is underway in the South but it is not summer until Tuesday.
Note Added Friday Afternoon, 6/17/22: Florida is preordering vaccine for children under 5 years old to get ready for when the emergency approval is blessed by the CDC probably tomorrow. Governor DeSantis reverses the earlier decision, or does he? The initial statement was that Florida hospitals and clinics can still provide the vaccines to the toddlers. Details were not provided but the assumption was that Florida will not order the vaccine and distribute it but the hospitals and clinics can. The new news sounds like the old news. The confusion may revolve around who is ordering the vaccine. Sounds like the Florida hospitals are encouraged to order their own vaccine. All 50 states have now preordered vaccine for the young children and are ready to begin inoculations next week after CDC Director Walensky provides the rubber stamp tomorrow. Senator Rand Paul and Dr Fauci go at it again at a Senate hearing. Fauci is participating remotely since he is infected with COVID-19. Fauci's complexion is pale. Paul questions the science behind telling people to keep taking booster shots since it is based on generating antibodies rather than actual results in the field. Paul questions Fauci about receiving royalty payments from vaccine makers which devolves into a heated discussion.
Note Added Friday Evening, 6/17/22: Chinese protestors plan a peaceful demonstration at a bank because their funds are frozen and unavailable for withdrawal. The Chinese citizens start marching towards the bank to begin the protest but a smackdown occurs. The smartphones of all the demonstrators begin buzzing with the red alert for COVID-19. The protestors are gathered-up by the police and ushered off to a detention camp, er isolation facility. Welcome to dirtbag communist China where lives are monitored and controlled 24/7 a la George Orwell's "1984." Just think, a protest will never occur in China again. COVID-19 was a convenient excuse for scumbag Dictator Xi and the filthy CCP to enforce full dictatorial and authoritarian rule over the Chinese people. The world is not a pretty place.
