The Freedom Convoy is dominating the news in Canada, United
States and worldwide. Canadian truckers peacefully occupy Ottawa and are now
active in other cities. The occupation is at Day 15 now in its third week
starting on Saturday, 1/29/22, although some trucks rolled into Ottawa on
Friday afternoon, 1/28/22.
Baby King Trudeau can stop the demonstrations immediately by
removing the vaccine mandates that are now more about political control of the
people rather than protecting public health. People do not want to live under
tyrannical rule. The pandemic is being defeated and it is time to get back to a
normal life.
The truckers have slowed the traffic on the Ambassador
Bridge between Detroit and Windsor which causes Ford, General Motors and other
auto-associated companies to temporary halt operations because of a lack of
parts. Elitist Trudeau is running Canada into the ground. Manitoba decides to
lift its mandates so half of the Canadian provinces are on the side of the trucker’s
that continually gain momentum.
Baby King Trudeau is hiding under the bed only surfacing to proclaim
that the demonstrators are white supremacists, Nazi’s and terrorists. Doesn’t
the idiot realize there are hours of video on the internet chronicling the
Ottawa occupation? The protesters are peaceful with families and kids around.
Music is playing; there is no violence except for police strong arming an elderly
man. The crime rate in Ottawa has fallen during the occupation.
Shamefully, Canadian police are now knocking on people’s
doors that have posted messages on social internet supporting the truckers. A
cop shows up at their residences to inform them of “their rights” and educate
them on proper behavior. It makes you vomit. Canada is lost unless the
freedom-loving trucker’s win the day and the pandemic mandates end.
But the police are split on the mandate controversy and protest
mess. Some Ottawa cops are calling in sick because they do not want to mistreat
the trucker’s, their families and other demonstrators; these noble officers
know that the truckers are on the right side of history and do not want to be
involved with strong arming women and children.
Interestingly, tow truck drivers are refusing to show up to
tow away the big rigs. Trudeau has been stupidly hinting at military
involvement to resolve the matter but the officers are pushing back and do not
want to get any troops involved in the mess. Trudeau needs to do the right
thing and stop the mandates and the protests end immediately.
The trucker’s movement goes worldwide. Truckers in the US
are organizing with different events planned this weekend. Authorities say
security is increased at the Superbowl on Sunday (NFL championship game between
the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals determining the top American
football team this season) because they say truckers may disrupt the event.
Note that the authorities are doing the fear-mongering. There are demonstrations in New Zealand,
France and many other nations in solidarity with Canada that started the
worldwide movement for people to take back their freedom.
The idiot politicians are on the wrong side of history. Baby
Trudeau is the little rich kid that does not know how to handle the situation;
just end the mandates jackass. 85% of the Canadian truckers are vaccinated.
Others had COVID-19 and have natural immunity which scientists recognize more
each day as having superior protection as compared to the vaccination (remember
how the talking heads said the opposite was true over the last year to
encourage people to take the shots).
Canada reports daily new cases at 10K per day and still
dropping like a rock. This is only 0.03% of the population; 1 in every 3,800
Canadians test positive for coronavirus each day. This is nothing. In other
words, there are only 2.6 infections occurring per 10K people. No wonder half
of Canada is up in arms. The mandates should be removed. Canada is clearly on
the mend and needs to focus its efforts on the economy rather than covid.
The pandemic has seriously damaged the credibility of the
medical industry, Big Pharma, science and governments. President Biden tells
Prime Minister Trudeau to quickly resolve the situation by strongarm tactics if
necessary. The blind is leading the blind.
Canada plans to fine truckers 100K ($79K US dollars), issue
1-year jail sentences, seize their trucks and take away their licenses. It is
crazy talk. Tyrant Trudeau is freezing the donations provided to the truckers
on the GoFundMe and GiveSendGo websites. The tyrannical Canadian government is
now trying to seize control of companies. This is ridiculous nutso stuff.
Elitist Trudeau erred when he extended the draconian
pandemic mandates on 1/15/22 and he does not want to reverse himself and admit
a mistake so North America is tossed into disarray because of the immature
little rich kid Justin. Hopefully, his hissy fit will end quickly so folks can
get back to work.

The Botswana/South Africa B11529 Omicron Variant wave is
dissipating around most of the world but Asia is on the chopping block with
trouble in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and China. New Zealand is trying to
maintain the zero-covid strategy as infections ramp higher.
The BA2 Omicron Subvariant remains a concern with Denmark
and the UK providing the best data so far. The WHO clarifies the classification
of the subvariant. BA.1 is the current omicron virus circulating around the
globe (Botswana/South Africa B11529) which is a variant of concern (VOC) the
worst classification. The BA.2 subvariant, also called “stealth omicron,” or
“sister omicron,” is a lineage of the original omicron so it is also a VOC; all
the omicron lineages are under the Omicron Variant VOC label.
The latest studies provide interesting conclusions. BA2 is
about 1.5 times more transmissible than BA1. The BA2 infections are showing up
where BA1 infections have occurred but it does not mean that reinfections are
occurring. BA2 may simply be infecting those that did not catch BA1. It appears
that a BA1 infection will provide immunity from BA2, however, people that were
sick with prior COVID-19 strains such as delta, and even vaccinated folks, can
still contract the omicron variants.
A Denmark study indicates that the BA2 bug may evade
vaccines so BA2 is better at infecting vaccinated people than unvaccinated.
Isn’t that strange? Of course, the overall conclusion by all scientists is
telling folks to get vaccinated and boosted because they know who butters their
bread each day (beholding to Big Pharma and government).
The Denmark daily cases chart is shown above. Denmark leads
on the BA2 Omicron Subvariant information and data since one-half or more of
the COVID-19 cases are BA2. Denmark reports 45K daily new cases yesterday below
the 52K cases on 2/2/22 the peak thus far. It is encouraging to see the daily
cases come off the top, albeit slightly, on a week-on-week basis, so there is a
good chance that the top will hold. The BA2 Subvariant wreaks havoc in Denmark
that is providing the rest of the world with key information about this new
omicron sister bug.
The Norway daily new cases chart shows the same pattern as
Denmark where cases run higher, plateau for a couple weeks, then bump higher
again, but not in a meaningful way. Obviously, the expectation, and hope, is
that the cases quickly trail off. This behavior, that extends the topping
behavior in the daily new cases, must be a hallmark of the BA2 bug. The
subvariant maintains the buoyancy in daily new cases.
The US charts are not displaying this behavior and instead
show the characteristic skinny inverted V pattern for the omicron wave of daily
new cases; straight up and straight back down. The medical organizations are
not making it easy to identify the number of BA2 cases in the United States,
probably because they do not have a good handle on it, but there are probably
between 200 and 500 BA2 cases stretched across most of the states.
There is a little bump in daily cases in South Africa
causing scientists to freak-out that a BA2 wave may be starting but cases
subside again and Zimbabwe, Botswana and Eswatini are in good shape. The fears
concerning BA2 may be overdone but it deserves constant monitoring especially
the Denmark situation.
The world’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The world
is on the mend with the peak in daily new cases occurring on 1/20/22 at 3.8
million daily infections. The peak is 3 weeks past so that forecasts better
days ahead for the globe. The world reports 2.3 million cases yesterday well
off the peak highs. The 7-day MA is dropping like a stone down to 2.4 million
cases per day.
The world’s daily new deaths chart is shown above. The 7-day
MA trend line for deaths is at 10.5K souls per day. The world reports 11.2K
deaths yesterday. The peak in deaths for the omicron wave 6 thus far is 13.032
people. Thus, the death number on Tuesday, 2/15/22, is key to note whether it
is above, or below, the 13K peak. With world cases peaking-out over 3 weeks
ago, it is a reasonable forecast to expect the deaths to roll over lower this
week and the 2/15/22 number should be sub 13K deaths. Hope so.
Russia’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Dirtbag
Dictator Putin may invade Ukraine at any time. Government officials around the
world are in a tizzy to the delight of Vlad. An invasion would be an odd
backdrop against peak omicron occurring in real-time. Russia hospitals are
overrun. Russia reports 204K daily new cases yesterday the most ever and over
200K per day!! To visualize this rate of infection, it is five US baseball
stadiums of people getting sick with China Virus every day in Russia!!
Russia’s 7-day MA for daily cases is parabolic (vertical) at
183K cases per day. Ukraine’s daily new cases are also at record levels. Little
Napoleon Putin puffs his chest for war but he is facing an onslaught of omicron
in real-time that will be ongoing during February.
Since Russia has state of the art night vision technology,
and the new moon is 3/2/22 (darkest time of the month), an attack window
appears between 2/28/22 and 3/6/22 when the night vision will provide the
greatest advantage. The next new moon is 4/1/22 and with spring arriving so
comes the mud; not good if you want to win a war.
Thus, shaving a few days off the front end of the new moon
range, allowing a couple days for the initial bullets and shells to fly, Putin
would likely start the war with Ukraine in the 2/26/22 through 3/2/22 window as
an educated guess which may look foolish if the situation falls apart tomorrow
or this week. Putin is KGB so he knows the value of mental games and making the
Allies wait until his new moon window appears.
There is lots of chatter that Putin will begin dropping
bombs any day but he may wait for 2 weeks (the weekend after next) as the
waxing crescent moon moves into the new moon (overnight becomes pitch black)
and his night vision technology can shine. Interestingly, dirtbag Putin may get
a little more than he bargained for if all the Ukraine troops and weapons are
equipped with state-of-the-art night vision technology provided by the USA. War
is Hell. No one wins except the casket makers.
The UK daily cases chart is shown above and is important
because the BA2 Subvariant is raising its ugly face here and there. There was a
scare on 2/1/22 when 112K cases were reported since that may be the BA2
ugliness starting a new wave higher for the UK but alas, daily cases thankfully
trail off lower from there. The happy UK chart also relaxes the fear of BA2 a
slight amount.
The UK is on the mend. Daily cases came down and then
started forming a base instead of dropping further. Many doctors and scientists
rightfully surmised that the BA2 variant may start to bite with a vengeance but
instead, the cases roll over lower again. This behavior hints that the natural
immunity protection provided by a BA1 infection probably stops the BA2 bug so
all it has to infect are a limited number of hosts and the infections then
peter out after a couple weeks. The peak in UK daily cases is 230K on 1/4/22
(six weeks ago).
Looking at the Denmark and UK daily cases charts, and
thinking out loud, the BA2 infections create sideways movement in daily cases
and not an increase. In Denmark’s chart, the BA2 cases have run amuck for the
last 3 weeks so they are entangled with BA1 and lead to a lingering flat top at
elevated case levels. The UK cases were dropping having defeated BA1 but the
sideways move then occurs which are BA2 cases puffing their chests out. This
causes a couple-week sideways lull in cases but then the downside resumes. This
is good news for the UK and world and diminishes the threat of BA2 but new data
is coming in daily.
Germany’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Germans need
to put down the beer steins and go home for a while as infections continue
higher. Germany reports 247K daily new cases on Thursday and 230K yesterday the
most ever. The 7-day MA for daily new cases is at 193K cases per day heading
higher. There is omicron nastiness circulating around Germany, Netherlands,
Denmark and Norway, a covid hotbed region.
South Korea’s daily new cases chart is shown above; it is a
nightmare. No one is taking advice from South Korea anymore about handling the
pandemic; they are in shambles. South Korea reports 54K daily new cases a huge
number the largest ever. The 7-day MA is parabolic at 44K cases per day. South
Korea is spiraling out of control with omicron and has no solutions.
Fortunately, deaths remain in check.
Japan’s daily deaths chart is shown above; the Japanese are
dropping like fly’s face down into the rice bowl. What is going on in this
island nation? For the other countries cycling through the omicron wave, the
wild ice pick pattern in daily cases, or skinny inverted V if you prefer, is
only pertinent to the daily cases. Deaths have remained subdued. Not so in
Japan. Something different is happening.
Is Japan counting people that commit hari-kari as COVID-19
deaths? This parabolic behavior in deaths also occurs in Israel another highly
vaccinated country. Is the jump in deaths a statistical and data issue or is a
new variant afoot that is extremely lethal?
Japan may have made changes to the way deaths are reported
but if they did not, there may be a problem occurring in Japan that the world
needs to know about. Japan has aging demographics, a nation of older people,
that are burdening society economically. Hopefully, the nurses are not holding
pillows over anyone’s face.
Malaysia’s daily new cases chart is shown above now in the
parabolic phase of the omicron wave. Malaysia reports a huge 21K daily new
cases teasing record levels. The 7-day MA for daily cases is parabolic at 14.5K
cases per day. Malaysia tags the 3 million total cases lousy round number and
exceeds 32K deaths a grim milestone. The Philippines was first in line for the
omicron wave and they infected Indonesia that now infects Malaysia.
Indonesia reports its first day of cases off a peak top so
fingers are crossed that the peak may be in which also means Malaysia may peak
with daily cases in the days ahead. Deaths remain subdued for both Indonesia
and Malaysia which is good news. Lots of folks are sick and miserable but at
least they are not dying.
Vietnam’s daily new cases chart is shown above; it is a
disaster. Vietnam reports 26.5K daily new cases the most ever. It is a shame
that Vietnam fought hard to get past the last wave and then whammo, it is
punched in the face by the omicron wave.
There is a hotbed of infections occurring in northern
Vietnam and southern China in the Baise area, part of the Guangxi Zhuang region.
Laos is okay but Myanmar will be added to the bad country list below because
its omicron wave is now taking off higher indicating further trouble at red
China’s border. China’s zero-covid strategy may be tested in the weeks ahead.
Hong Kong is a mess of infections.
Chile’s daily new cases chart is shown above. All the
surrounding nations Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina are okay and on the
mend. Chile’s not. What is going on there? Is the trouble mainly in Santiago or
elsewhere? The Andes are spectacular if you have ever been there. Chile reports
40K and 38.5K daily new cases over the last 2 days, respectively, the most
ever. The 7-day MA is trying to crest at 35K cases per day.
Hopefully, the omicron wave has run its course and these
case highs represent the peak in Chile. It is disturbing that Chile is not in
sync with its neighboring nations and also that deaths pop higher to 162 per
day yesterday; the most deaths since July. The WHO would be well served to keep
a close eye on Chile and figure out if something special is going on a la a new
variant.
Since the Chilean coast goes on forever, there are lots of
ports of entry which create the possibility that a new bug has entered Chile’s
shores? The pop in deaths is interesting. It may be a data one-off but if not perhaps
the heavy trade and interaction between Japan and Chile is spreading virus? Do
both countries have the same death problem? The coming days will reveal the
answer.
The United States daily cases chart is shown above. The US
reports 207K daily new cases for yesterday a great number since Friday’s data
are always big numbers. The 3-day and 7-day MA’s trend lower the latter is at
184K cases per day and dropping faster than a dress on prom night. Politicians
would be well advised to ditch the draconian covid regulations. The natives are
getting restless. Are you listening Prime Minister Trudeau?
The US active cases curve is shown above and is the chart
that should be cheered at hospitals, clinics, ambulances and ICU’s across
America. The active cases are rolling over to form the coveted bell shape that
finally verifies the virus is being officially defeated.
Healthcare workers should already be seeing caseloads lessen
and they are about to drop dramatically. The great doctors, nurses, especially
the nurses that do all the heavy-lifting during the pandemic, medics and
support staff will catch a break going forward as the cases drop off a cliff. Arendition of the ole Negro spiritual, “Good News, Chariots A Comin’,” is inorder to celebrate America’s good fortune and path forward.
The Keystone Model forecasted 2/11/22 as the top for the US
active cases, or sooner, since omicron is a faster-moving wave than the others,
and the top tick is 29.3 million active cases on 2/6/22, another good call by
the model.
The path forward for the US will be interesting (to see if
the active cases drop off drastically) and of course the Fall flu and covid
season will be approaching. First, the southern states will have to be on watch
for a rise in COVID-19 infections starting in June and July as the heat becomes
excessive and folks flock inside for air conditioning.
Hopefully, Sleepy Joe will put the pudding down and do some
planning this year to make sure Missouri, Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi,
Florida, etc…, are ready for any onslaught of virus in the summertime (only 4
months away). Let’s be proactive and have a strategy this year, folks. Chop,
chop.
The US daily deaths chart is shown above and things are
looking up, er, down. Yes, they are looking up as in a positive road ahead, and
down which is the direction required, hopefully to zero some day even if that may
be an ideal goal. US deaths peak on 1/26/22
at 3,594 deaths for the omicron wave. That is a lot of coffins for one day.
The US reports 1.9K deaths for yesterday a welcome number
under 2K even though 1.9K families grieve mightily today. The 1.9K is
approaching almost one-half of the peak at 3.6K deaths so the direction is
good. The 7-day MA for US deaths at 2.1K per day is now taking a decisive turn
lower so there is optimism that the deaths will continue subsiding even perhaps
accelerating lower in the days ahead. It is good stuff.
California’s active cases chart is shown above. La-la land,
the land of fruits and nuts, displays the coveted bell shape that rings in
happy times for the Golden State. Waiting for the California active cases to
roll over was like waiting for Godot but good things come to those that wait. California
active cases peak at 5.2 million cases on 2/6/22 the same day as the US active
cases peaked.
California healthcare workers are about to notice a dramatic
improvement in their caseloads if they have not already. The improvements in
hospital conditions will accelerate. California is a highly populated state
that has a big impact on the overall numbers for the United States so when the
active cases are rolling over, it is cause for celebration across America, and,
another reason to lift mandates. The chart is Californication as the Chili’swould sing.
The CDC COVID-19 Data Tracker shows US hospitalizations sub90K but the data is several days old as usual. Maybe hospitalizations are sub
80K by now? Hospital admissions continue falling like rocks and they lead the
hospitalizations by about 4 days. It is all good and headed in the right
direction.
Over 87% of Americans 18 years and older are vaccinated withat least one shot. That is a good number and if the natural immunity is
factored in, the US is at herd immunity. Now the virus has to be convinced of
that. 64% of the US population, 214 million people, are fully vaccinated.
91 million people are triple vaccinated; 2 initial doses
followed by the booster shot. This is 28% of the US population so it is obvious
why the CDC does not change the meaning of fully vaccinated. The US would go
from 64% fully vaccinated to 28% in a heartbeat. Isn’t it fascinating how
humans sell their souls for a career or for politics? Most likely regret that
path as they take their last breath on the proverbial death bed awaiting
judgement.
The interest in vaccinations is waning. Keystone walked by a
vaccination site yesterday and the only person sitting there was the nurse. A
tumbleweed rolls by and crickets can be heard chirping in the background. Oh
no. The US vaccination rate, as per the CDC, drops to the lowest rate since
January 2021 when the vaccines were first rolled out. Oh my. That makes you
step back and it requires a chart.
The US vaccination rate chart is shown above and sadly, even
with the data a few days old (it will only get worse), shows only 430K shots
administered per day and the rate is dropping faster than a mic after a long
speech at a political rally. The 7-day MA vax rate trend line sinks below the
lax vaccination rates last summer and now stretches all the way back to when
the vaccines started in early 2021.
It is a sad day for the pro vaccine zealots; vaccine
proponents are downtrodden upon viewing the chart. Their eyes dampen and tears
fall into their café latte.
Americans are moving on. We are a hardy people. Canadians
appeared weak always bowing in front of King Trudeau but the noble northern
nation is leading the entire world schooling everyone on what it means to be
free. Thank you, Canada. Hopefully, PM Trudeau decides to end the mess and stop
the mandates that are no longer needed. Trudeau knows this if he follows the
science.
The omicron wave is in the rearview mirror for the US. The
hospital conditions will be improving drastically this week and each day
forward. The GlaxoSmithKline Sotrovimab monoclonal antibody treatment works on
both the BA1 Omicron Variant and BA2 Omicron Subvariant. The Pfizer Paxlovid
anti-viral oral pills are also a key tool in the covid toolbox going forward.
It is good news, folks. It is time to
ditch all mandates and let everyone, especially kids, get on with life.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 79.2 million. India is next with 42.6 million total virus cases.
Brazil, France, UK, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Iran round
out the top dozen on the ugly list. Germany worsens leapfrogging Italy. The
Deutschland jumped in front of Spain last time. Germany is struggling.
COVID-19 has infected 409 million people worldwide. 5.8 million
people are dead from the China Flu. 329 million global citizens have recovered
from China Flu. 80% (329/409) of the people that become infected with COVID-19
recover in a reasonable time frame. This percentage had been at 90% to 92% for
many months, until the last 2 months where it has dropped 11 percentage points.
What is going on?
People are not recovering as fast from COVID-19 as one year
ago. The recovery percentage is worsening despite all the vaccines available
around the world. About 20% of the people that contract coronavirus (1 in 5) have
lingering health effects such as long-covid or die.
Worldwide, 1.4% (5.8/409) of the people that are infected
with covid die; 1 in 71. This number sat at 2.1%-2.2% for many months but
trends lower for the last 4 months to 1.4%. The vaccinations and natural
immunities are helping to lower the world’s death rate albeit by small increments.
If people are not dying as much and taking longer to recover, if they recover, it
hints that long-covid cases may be increasing.
5.3% (409/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 19 people on earth. This
was 1 in every 24 people only a month ago! Will it be 1 in every 15 people next
week? This behavior verifies the contagiousness of the Omicron variant.
0.08% of the world’s population (5.8/7670) died from the
pandemic; 1 in every 1,322 people on earth died due to the likely Wuhan Lab
leak.
In the United States, 79.2 million people are infected with covid.
942K Americans are dead. 49.6 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus.
This equates to 63% (49.6/79.2) of US citizens recovering after becoming
infected with COVID-19. The recovery percentage has been between 76% and 84% for
much of last year but over the last 4 months drops to the 61% to 63% range. What
is going on? The recovery percentage is also dropping for the world as shown
above. Vaccines have not improved the recovery percentage.
America’s rampant obesity problem has greatly added to
deaths, hospitalizations and long-covid problems. If you are overweight or obese,
and unvaccinated, call your doctor. For the last 2 years, people have put off
medical procedures so their bodies are weaker.
In the US, 1.2% (942/79200) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. This number was sticky at 1.6% to 1.8% for many months but has sagged to
1.2% over the last 4 months. 1 in every 84 US citizens that are infected with coronavirus
die. 0.29% (942/330000) of Americans have died from COVID-19 which is 1 in
every 350 Americans.
24% (79.2/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid; 1 in every 4.2 Americans. The minority
communities are impacted disproportionately. The 24% that now have natural
immunities solidly contribute towards developing herd immunity. The numbers for natural immunity are likely
far higher than reported. Many Americans had covid at home and never saw a
doctor or reported the illness and they have some level of natural antibody
protection.
The United States has 19% (79.2/409) of the COVID-19 cases
in the world. 1 in 5 people that become infected with covid on planet earth are
Americans. The US vaccination program made an impact month’s ago, but not so
much in recent weeks and months. This percentage was 22% about 11 months ago so
it is flatlining for a long time.
The US accounts for 16% (942/5800) of the China Flu deaths
in the world. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are Americans.
9 months ago, it was 1 in 5. The numbers are stalled at the same level for the
last few months.
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart curves will flatten-out and roll-over lower. The active cases chart
is the ‘flatten the curve’ chart that represents the maximum stress and strain on
the medical system and healthcare workers. Once the active cases chart rolls
over forming the bell shape, the virus is being defeated and healthcare workers
can breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the daily new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For communist nations where
the populations must do what they are told or they receive a bullet in their
heads (China), and for smaller authoritarian nations (Eastern European
countries, Africa and Middle East nations), and many Asian nations where
citizens follow government rules without questioning authority (South Korea,
Japan, Singapore, Australia), the active cases curve will peak, on average, 11
days after the peak in daily new cases.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases. It takes about 2 weeks longer for
a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or authoritarian
state because lockdowns are not strictly followed or enforced.
All projections below for countries and the US states
continue to use the 11 and 28-day periods for forecasting for consistency. When
the peak in daily new cases occurs, if a subsequent day is within 8% of that
peak top, it is identified as the peak in daily new cases day in reference to
the Keystone Model.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily seen on the bar
charts provided by Worldometer, the CDC and Johns-Hopkins. The daily new cases
bar charts are shown on television news channels with a 7-day moving average
(MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that identifies the trend.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes and more data and information become available to push the
Wuhan Flu story forward. The Coronavirus Chronology identifies the real-time
hotspots occurring around the world and within the United States. The
chronology serves as a historical document that will be referenced for decades

CDC COVID Data Tracker is another excellent source of information. The
Worldometer, Johns-Hopkins and CDC data track each other well with the
Worldometer data leading the others by a few days. The Worldometer data is far
superior for forecasting since it is updated more reliably in real-time.
The countries with rising active cases charts are
highlighted below with the worst nations at the bottom. The peaks in daily new
cases are shown and the projected peaks for active cases are based on the
Keystone Model. The peak and flattening of the active cases curves are
extremely important since it represents the maximum stress on healthcare
workers and the medical systems.
It will take longer for the active cases charts to roll over
to form the bell shape for the troubled nations at the bottom of the list (they
are still experiencing highs and peaks in their daily new cases).
Hospitalizations lag the daily cases by a week or two and deaths lag
hospitalizations by a week or two.

14 countries are removed from the bad list but 5 are added. It is great that countries are disappearing off the list making it smaller. Hopefully the list will completely disappear in a few weeks.
The nations that are happily displaying active cases curves
that are rolling over and dropping and are removed from the list include the
United States, France, Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, Sweden, Brazil,
Bangladesh, Poland, Belgium, Pakistan, Paraguay and Iraq.
Vietnam, Myanmar, New Zealand, Hong Kong (now communist
China) and Guatemala are added to the list as their daily and active cases
curves move higher. Myanmar (Burma) is now starting into its parabolic phase of
daily new cases.
Norway crosses the 1 million total infections milestone. There
is a nasty cluster zone, likely with the BA2 Omicron Subvariant at play, in
Norway, Denmark, Germany and Netherlands.
Russia and Ukraine are both in terrible shape and are two of
the worst covid countries on the planet right now as they square off for battle
like two drunks on Saturday night.
South America is improving although Chile has to be watched
closely to see if any covid mischief is afoot. Central America remains
challenged. Guatemala cases are rising although Costa Rica daily cases are
retreating. Mexico is in good shape with daily and active cases dropping,
however, 927 Mexicans die yesterday a terrible death number.
Omicron is attacking Asia right now with Malaysia,
Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam and China all under pressure. China is
hosting the Olympics in Beijing. There are about 8,000 people inside the
Olympic bubble about 3K athletes and coaches and 5K in staff and support
people. 6% of the Olympics bubble has tested positive for China Virus; almost
500 cases
Some China-friendly news outlets are now saying 15K people
are inside the bubble. This is more lies from the CCP where they want to dilute
the infection percentage so it does not sound as bad. The news is muzzled
anyways so no one hears about the 6% infected and the number is likely higher.
The Beijing Olympics ends on Sunday, 2/20/22. There are 8
more days where lots of drama can happen in the Games, as well as inside the
covid-infected Olympics nest. Vietnam cases are at record levels so southern
China is likely in a heap of trouble, there are infections increasing in Baise,
most of which is being covered up by the communists.
The next list shows the US states with the worst at the
bottom. The omicron daily cases have peaked in all states. The peak in daily
new cases and projections for the peaks in active cases are provided as per the
Keystone Model. The flattening and roll over of the active cases curve forming
the bell shape indicates the virus is being defeated and the caseload on

Thus, 26 US states
are in firm recovery with bright futures ahead. The other 24 states on the l
ist above are reporting lower daily cases but their important active cases have
not peaked as yet and rolled over. The healthcare workers in the states listed
above have another week or so of hectic shifts ahead but if your state is not
listed, you are in great shape with covid patient loads dropping sharply and
you can see better times ahead.
Most of the 24
remaining states on the bad list above should disappear next time. It will be
nice when the list vanishes all together. With US wave 6 on its way out, the
pandemic may be legitimately on its last legs after 2 long grueling years.
Pfizer delays
submitting its data to the FDA for vaccinating kids under 5 years old until
April, which was the original target month set last year. There are too many
missteps during the pandemic. People have lost confidence in the medical
establishment and politicians. Some parents will be disappointed but on the
bright side, the virus does not appear to be a serious threat for young
children so a couple-month delay may prove beneficial for everyone.
The FDA gives its
official blessing to the Glaxo Sotrovimab monoclonal antibody treatment. If you
test positive, especially if you are unvaccinated, discuss the GSK mAb
treatment with your doctor, and the Paxlovid pills. EARLY TREATMENT is the key
to handling COVID-19. Prevention and EARLY TREATMENT would have saved a couple
hundred thousand American lives, but Uncle Joe is movin’ kinda slow at thejunction, and only had the strength to cheerlead vaccines.
A lot of the
information on vaccines is getting more attention. In a nutshell, people do not
want the vaccines for various reasons such as studies showing the jabs are
basically not needed for children. Typically, vaccine advocates will deny that
natural immunity exists. Pro vaccine folks ignore the VAERS data and will
usually not want to discuss any adverse side effects or deaths from vaccines.
Also, people are
skeptical of pro-vaccine studies from other countries. Israel leads the parade
in COVID-19 data and research and has vaccinated the population nearly 4 times
and yet they are hit worse than other nations with the omicron wave with
elevated deaths. Same dealio in other nations and in the United States. The
northeastern states are heavily vaccinated and they were smacked hard with
omicron like any other state.
Another key factor
with vaccine hesitancy is that the Pfizer data on vaccines will not be provided
to the public for 55 years. Hey Buddy, you know that serum we stuck into you?
Yes, sir. You’re not allowed to understand the research behind it or see the
data from the studies for 55 years, you will probably be dead by then, but make
sure you kneel when we tell you to take the booster-booster-booster. Yes, sir.
Those are five major
reasons for vaccine hesitancy that pro vaccine folks can develop answers for
but the sad fact is, how do you respond to a question asking you why the data on
vaccines will be hidden from the public for 55 years? Good luck.
The lockdown studyfrom Johns-Hopkins released last week has generated huge interest. The
democrat-run media either ignores or downplays the story. The republican-run
media cheers the information. The J-H study says lockdowns did little good
during the pandemic but at the same time caused great harm.
Companies and
businesses went bankrupt due to the lockdowns. People have mental issues
including depression and worse. Addictions to opioids and other drugs increased
during lockdowns. Ditto alcoholism and domestic abuse. People also postponed
cancer screenings and other health needs due to the lockdowns.
There will be a
revolt if the lockdown stuff is pulled again in America. Pandemic measures must
be more specific to areas of high transmission only. Blanket lockdowns will not
fly.
America and the
world are on the mend. Omicron is working its way through Asia which will then
bring the world’s cases and deaths way down. The United States is in great
shape going forward and the BA2 Omicron Subvariant is not posing any problem as
yet.

With cases coming
down fast in the United States and the world also on the mend, the omicron wave
may be the pandemic’s goodbye song. If US wave 6 continues to subside, there

It will be great joy
when the COVID-19 pandemic ends (the endemic phase begins) but the virus, not

Note Added Sunday Morning, 2/13/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The Freedom Convoy protests continue dominating the news. Canadian police remove truckers from the Ambassador Bridge, which can now also be called the 'Edmund Pettus Bridge', but bottlenecks and congestion remains on the Canadian side. King Trudeau is hiding under the bed. Protests increase around the world in support for the Canadian truckers. In France, 7K police are called into Paris to stop a truck convoy but do not succeed. The riot police fire tear gas and lob gas grenades to disperse the crowds. People are sick of the vaccine passports and the authoritarian rule by incompetent politicians. Traffic is snarled as people park cars in the middle of the streets of Paris. A convoy is headed north wanting to roll into Brussels. Protests in Frankfurt, Germany, become unruly. Global leaders need to stop the mandates. The data, as explained above with charts, supports this decision. The world is on the mend. People need to get on with life to maintain their sanity and stability in this complicated world. It does not make much of a difference if you are vaccinated or not. Therapeutics and early treatments are now blessed by the medical hierarchy and more widely accepted going forward. Note Added Sunday Morning, 2/13/22, at 5:00 AM EST: Chile reports 36K daily new cases another elevated number but perhaps a peak is forming. Russia reports 204K daily new cases another record. Ukraine reports 38K cases yesterday but it appears that the peak is likely placed a week ago. Both Ukrainian and Ruskie deaths are ramping higher. Folks are dying from covid in both countries and more may die from bullets in the coming days and few weeks. Belarus is also at record cases and is added to the bad country list above. As Iceland beats back its latest infection wave, Prime Minister Katrin Jakobsdottir, tests positive for COVID-19 and will isolate for 5 days. Indonesia leaps to 55.2K cases per day at record levels. Indonesia is in trouble and will see their hospitals go crazy busy in the coming days. Ditto Malaysia at 23K cases per day at record levels. New Zealand reports 464 cases yesterday the most ever. South Korea reports a record 55K daily new cases and crosses the 7K deaths grim milestone. Hong Kong, now a communist-owned region, reports 1,514 daily new cases a big spike higher a new record. These numbers will keep pulling down the moving averages. The 7-day MA for US deaths is down to 2K souls per day and ready to dip below. America is on the mend. There are a couple media outlets saying that US deaths are rising. Not true. US deaths peaked on 1/26/22 at 3.6K dead bodies. The 7-day MA for deaths peaked at 2.6K deaths per day on 1/27/22. Both death numbers are trending lower ever since. The 7-day MA US death rate at 2K deaths per day is the same level as the peak of the delta wave 5 deaths. The Walmart store chain lifts the mask mandate for vaccinated employees. The United States is moving on from China Flu and the CDC and Whitehouse can come along or be left behind.
Note Added Sunday Evening, 2/13/22: 100K fans are jammed inside the Superbowl along with the support staff, food service workers and team entourages. Early in the pandemic, this event would have superspreader written all over it but many concerts and large events over the last few months have not resulted in superspreaders. The attendees at the American football championship game of the season had to vaccinated or have a negative test. The game itself will likely not be a superspreader issue, however, the home parties around the United States, where few hosts are checking vaccination status at the front door, will likely lead to a bump in US infections starting in about 4 days. If the House is a Rockin', don't bother knockin', come on in, there's some bad honky tonkers laying it down. Most fans ignored the mask rules and plenty of videos and pictures surface of celebrities ignoring mask guidelines. With a home stadium advantage, the Los Angeles Rams defeat the Cincinnati Bengals that are a team that is typically left at the altar.
Note Added Monday Morning, 2/14/22, at 2:00 AM EST: Happy Valentine's Day. Give your honey a covid kiss. The world's average cases drop to 2.2 million cases per day falling sharply. The world's average deaths roll over dropping to 10.2K souls per day and likely headed sub 10K over the next couple days. The world is improving daily although trouble continues in a few hot zones around the world mainly Asia. South Korea is in covid Hell reporting over 56K daily cases another record. South Korea's total infections are over 1.4 million and the death tally exceeds 7.1K souls a grim milestone. Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia all remain challenged. Thailand cases are jumping higher into the omicron parabolic phase so their vital tourism industry will take another hit. New Zealand's daily cases are going parabolic so the zero-covid strategy is starting to unravel. Hong Kong hospitals are overwhelmed so the population is told to stay home if sick. Healthcare workers are focusing on the elderly and young children. Three Hong Kong folks die yesterday from China Virus and one was a child. Just think, if you caught a glimpse of the packed Superbowl last evening, Russia's COVID-19 infection rate is two of those stadiums of people every day! Note Added Monday Morning, 2/14/22, at 3:00 AM EST: The US reports only 32K daily new cases yesterday an expected small Sunday number. The 7-day MA of US daily new cases drops to 148K cases per day falling faster than Cincinnati's Superbowl hopes. The 7-day MA trend line for US deaths drops below 2K per day still too high but going in the right direction perhaps headed for a sharper fall in the days forward. California crosses the 8.8 million total cases milestone. Tennessee and Mississippi cases had jumped higher creating concern but now fall back to earth the last few days and the states are on the mend.
Note Added Monday Morning, 2/14/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The Freedom Convoy truckers protest continues in Ottawa, Canada. The blockage on the Ambassador Bridge is removed and several protesters arrested. 400 trucks remain in Ottawa. Some protesters agree to remove trucks from residential neighborhoods. Baby King Trudeau refuses to come out from under the bed and stop the draconian mandates instead wanting to maintain tyrannical rule over his Canadian subjects. Interestingly, many Canucks are content with spending their lives under government control. Many Aussies also have taken on this warped submissive thinking. Trudeau is meeting with the province leaders to perhaps map out a solution forward. Canada's data and charts look great. All that Baby Trudeau has to do is cite the data (to save face) and call off the mandates so life can return to normal. Too many people continue suffering from the covid mass hysteria. A Pew poll reports that 50% of Americans have lost confidence in public officials. The anti-mask movement is gaining momentum in the US. People are sick of wearing the stinky unwashed mouth diapers each day breathing in their own bad breath. On the airline beat, American, Alaska and JetBlue are planning to comply with ongoing vaccine mandates but Delta and Southwest are unsure what mandate route, if any, they want to fly going forward.
Note Added Monday Morning, 2/14/22, at 5:00 AM EST: Great news. US hospitalizations collapse to 64K below 70K and this is Friday's data already 3 days old. The hospitalizations may be below 50K right now as the new week begins. Americans feel the optimistic vibe and begin tossing masks in the air like Mary Tyler Moore tossing her beret. The bird flu is now a worry because people do not have enough to worry about already. A bird flu outbreak started in Indiana, USA, last week and has spread to chickens and turkeys in Kentucky and Virginia. Turkeys are culled in Kentucky to stop the spread. There is no bird flu transmission to humans. Mexico is banning all chicken imports until the outbreak is controlled. Across the pond, the Duchess of Cornwall tests positive for coronavirus. She is triple vaccinated and caught the virus off of triple vaccinated Prince Charles. No word yet if Charles infected his dear ole Mom, Queen Elizabeth, also triple vaccinated. By golly, this 2-year nightmare is now a pandemic of the vaccinated.
Note Added Monday Afternoon, 2/14/22: Ontario plans to lift covid restrictions on 3/1/22 and says it is not because of the Freedom Convoy but instead based on science. The truckers are slowly winning but Trudeau keeps doubling down now declaring emergency powers that have never been invoked before (the Emergency Wars Act was massaged into the Emergency Powers Act in the 1980's). Of course he does; he views himself as king. He is a dictator now granting himself wide powers. The restaurants in Ottawa are happy because they have not been this busy since before the pandemic. The out of control Canadian government is trying to freeze the donations in the GoFundMe and GiveSendGo accounts and as the attorneys fight over the matter, the truckers are now using bitcoin and cybercurrencies to help with funding. The Freedom Convoy in Ottawa is stressing that they are not part of the other groups protesting at US/Canada crossing points and bridges although they support all truckers. The Freedom Convoy bitcoin crowdfunding site is Tallycoin under the "Bitcoin for Truckers" title. The site has $942K already in funding. That will buy some hamburgers, hotdogs, buns, water, flashlight batteries, Canadian flags and fuel cans. Pittsburgh fires city employees for not getting vaccinated and of course the *ssholes in charge will not release details on the firings. What purpose does it serve to destroy someone's life and family? Always remember, payback's a b*tch.
Note Added Monday Afternoon, 2/14/22: 1,432 New York City workers are canned by Mayor Adams because they did not get vaccinated. It's enough to make you vomit. Big man destroys over 1.4K lives and families over a vaccination of questionable efficacy while at the same time refusing to accept the science of natural immunity. Welcome to America where the government destroys lives. Always remember, payback's a b*tch. Lots of firings are in the Department of Education. Adams claims that the employees are quitting which is a jackass statement especially when, in the next breath, the idiot proclaims, "Our goal was always to vaccinate, not terminate." He admits that he just terminated 1,432 employees. If any of the fired workers are over 50 years old, get yourself a labor lawyer because Adams actually got rid of you because of your age. Adams, and NYC, is using age discrimination against workers.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 2/15/22, at 4:00 AM EST: King Trudeau turns Canada into a dictatorship. The pandemic turns politicians into tyrants. Instead of ending the pandemic mandates and allowing the Freedom Convoy folks to go home, since the cases, hospitalizations, deaths and other metrics are dropping like rocks, Dictator Trudeau doubles-down again imposing wide-sweeping emergency powers. The action is scary since it pushes Canada towards martial law. Why? Because of a peaceful truckers protest? The government tries to lump all protests together but the truckers say the Freedom Convoy is in Ottawa. There are other protests occurring across Canada, such as at the key border crossings at North Dakota and Montana, but these are separate from the Freedom Convoy. Trudeau and his henchmen label the demonstrations in Canada as the "blockade protests." Do you see the media manipulation? They should accurately say that there is the Freedom Convoy protest ongoing in Ottawa and there are other groups protesting in other parts of the country. The government wants to link everything together because then they accuse the Ottawa protesters of completely blocking roads and other nefarious activities which they are not doing. Note Added Wednesday Morning, 2/16/22, at 10:00 AM EST: Walmart and Amazon ditch the masks for employees. The Walt Disney theme parks are relaxing mask regulations. The huge Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals set for April will not require vaccinations or negative tests. Masks are tossed into the garbage can along with the used red Solo cups. It is time to par-tay in Party Town. Not for the CDC or Whitehouse. CDC Director Walensky, that is triple vaccinated and wears two masks, says the mask guidance is under review and new regulations and rules are coming. So is Christmas. Comically, in March, Walensky, Fauci, Zients and Murthy will be the only ones in the US wearing masks; two masks. Walensky cites the US county map and says over 97% of the nation is in the red or orange high or substantial transmission range (98.6% to be exact). This is the map that is holding Walensky back from issuing new guidance. If the CDC was smart, they would raise the threshold for the substantial and high transmission zones. Humans weave tangled webs. The transmission rates were likely set at low ranges to aid the fear campaign and nudge people to get vaccinated (oh the horror or the blood red map!). Now that the pandemic may be performing its swan song, and people are getting on with life, ignoring the officials that were wrong for much of the time over the last 2 years but never in doubt, the lower ranges are a detriment because they maintain the US county map as blood red tying the CDC's hands on providing new mask guidance. Walensky has her fingers crossed that the county map will improve quickly, which it should, and then she can relax the mask and other guidelines as counties fall into the moderate and low transmission zones (yellow and blue, respectively). As previously mentioned, it is an abomination that the CDC cannot update the data, maps and charts in real-time (no more than 24 hours behind on any day); it is shameful. Walensky is looking at the US county map that is already information several days old sometimes a week or more out of date. Walensky opines, "We want to give people a break from things like mask-wearing when these metrics are better, and then have the ability to reach for them again should things worsen." Oh vey. The powerful people are already making plans for future draconian rules. What poor messaging. The nobility On High decrees that the peons receive a break in the near future. No one is listening anymore. "We must consider hospital capacity as an additional important barometer." The goalposts change from monitoring cases to now including hospitalizations. Does the CDC plan on controlling what new hospitals are built and which are decommissioned? How do they control capacity? It is a stupid comment. Many hospitals were overrun during the last few months because of human greed. There are only a limited amount of beds that are ever available, say fewer than 5%, because operating lean and mean increases the bottom line profits for the greed merchants. Then, when a tragedy hits such as a pandemic or hurricane, the weakness is exposed and jackass officials opine about the over capacity issues. Open your eyes to human greed folks; it is staring back at you. Walensky does not provide details about how hospital capacity will be assessed. Of course not because she does not know herself. Walensky says vaccines, boosters, testing and treatment are the path forward. Wrong comment. She should have said that vaccines, boosters, GlaxoSmithKline Sotrovimab monoclonal antibody (mAb) treatments, Pfizer Paxlovid anti-viral oral pills, testing, and a new commitment in the United States to address the rampant obesity problem, is the path forward. Instead, the vaccines and boosters are pumped endlessly to keep the big money rolling into Big Pharma. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, the guy with the fancy hat, says his 4-year daughter is sick with covid but she is okay. Poor youngster but like most kids she will come through it like a trooper. Her triple vaccinated and double-masked dad or mom likely gave her the infection but Murthy does not provide details on how his daughter got infected. Of course he doesn't. Another disturbing twist occurs in the pandemic. The goalposts are moved around so much that they are now installed on wheels. Americans were always told to wear masks because it protects others so this spiel fed the narrative that if you wear a mask you care about others but if not, you are a bad uncaring person. The medical pundits now say wearing a mask protects the individual from infection. So the other person garbage was never really true? They are just making the stuff up as they go along. Mask studies are showing that any benefit is marginal at best and it has to be weighed against the many negative impacts of wearing masks.

He says everyone will get a shot. The science on vaccinating toddlers is shaky but the FDA will be forging ahead with approvals. He says money is an incentive for endorsing vaccines (recurring revenue streams for Big Pharma). The republican-run media is in heaven plastering the story across Fox News, Newsmax, OANN, Breitbart, AM talk radio and New York Post exposing the dirty backdoor dealings at the FDA. Of course the democrat-run media (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, PBS, New York Times, Washington Post) ignores the story (for now; they may not have a choice in a day or two). Cole? Who? Never heard of him. In the videotape, Cole says he is involved with the vaccine decision-making and approval process. The FDA quickly reacts to the breaking story proclaiming that this Cole guy does not speak for the vaccines or on any matters concerning the vaccines. Whoopsies. Someone is lying which gives the story legs. It will be easy to find out. Is Cole involved in the vaccine approvals or is he not? Inquiring minds want to know. Everything is corrupt these days as the crony capitalism system is in its last throes. Maybe the vaccine reviews for children under 5 years old were delayed a few days ago because the FDA knew this story with Project Veritas and Cole would hit the covid fan?

President Biden created the inflation problem by canceling the Keystone XL pipeline and other energy projects in favor of Don Quixote's windmills. The 7-day MA is down to 129 cases per day the sub 100K per day is on its way. Cases are back down to where the omicron wave 6 started. The skinny inverted V pattern, or ice pick pattern if you prefer, runs its course in America. It's beautiful as Zoolander says. The 3-day MA for US daily cases continues printing lower lows and lower highs so the downtrend continues. The US reports 2.8K deaths yesterday not a good number. The daily deaths average 2K per day an unacceptable number. Deaths remain elevated because of the contagiousness of the Omicron Variant (more get sick so more die), people delaying health matters for 2 years worsening outcomes, the waning vaccine efficacy, the lack of vaccine effectiveness against omicron, people that are not taking booster shots now getting infected, the unvaccinated and especially fat old folks regardless of vaccination status. The Superbowl was Sunday, so Monday, 2/21/22, is the 8-day mark but this is the President's Day holiday so the data will be needed through Tuesday to see if there is any bump in cases. It is probably no big deal like other large events and concerts in recent months. Scientists are keeping a close eye on the BA2 Omicron Subvariant in 74 countries and dominant in 10. Nearly all the US states have identified at least one case of BA2 but it is not a major concern as yet. Denmark is the poster child for BA2 and the daily cases are subsiding. The subvariant extended the top by a week or two. The disturbing aspect is the huge jump in Danish deaths. 44 Danes die yesterday tying the record from 1/14/21 one year ago. it is only one data set but the BA2 subvariant may supercharge the deaths.

The man wore a surgical mask but "Let's Go Brandon" is written on it (which means "F$#% Joe Biden") and the attendant says the mask must be changed because of the "comment you've written on there." Everyone is king these days. Allegiant proclaims that passengers are not allowed to wear any garb that displays "Let's Go Brandon." Does that mean they cannot display "F$%# Joe Biden?" The man had a proper face mask and followed policy but did not meet the airlines demands in prohibiting free speech. He was reimbursed for his flight and he took a different airline. The case numbers are in retreat. The 7-day MA for US deaths is at 1.9K souls perishing per day. As the sick folks are wheeled into the hospital, Sleepy Joe Biden keeps mumbling, "get vaccinated and boosted, do you have any pudding?" while the people dying on gurneys are pleading, "where's the Glaxo Sotrovimab monoclonal antibody treatments or the Pfizer Paxlovid anti-viral oral pills that can save my life? Help me!" The nurses say their hands are tied but there is plenty of vaccine if anyone needs a shot of mRNA. How cute, and stupid. People need basic terse language that is easy to understand not a bunch of confusing word slop. S stands for shots, M for masks, etc..., it is all too stupid to list. Newsom says the pandemic will never end. Simply tell Californians to get on with life and masks are no longer required but if you want to wear one fine. Newsom does not need a 10-page dissertation. Newsom is stupid like the CDC and Whitehouse folks during the entire pandemic providing wordy confusing, and sometimes contradictory, information that common folks cannot understand. People lead busy lives trying to keep their families together and make ends meet and have little time to study wordy guidance. If a fifth-grader can understand what you are saying, so will the maximum amount of Americans. Minnesota republican Congressman Jim Hagedorn passes after testing positive for COVID-19. Hagerdorn had kidney cancer and was obviously overweight/obese. China Flu has culled the old and fat population in America.

Write this down because next month when kids are no longer wearing masks and there isn't any problems, Fauci will be proven wrong again. Fauci has become irrelevant. Whitehouse spokesperson Jen Psaki, nicknamed Peppermint Patty from the Charlie Brown cartoon, receives today's idiot award proclaiming, "Well, what I can tell you is the CDC guidance follows data and science, and data and science moves at the speed of data and science." Statements like this expose stupidity. The CDC is following their data and science that is from 3 days to a week old. It is laughable. Biden is just like Trump in that the political narrative is set first, then the so-called science is manipulated by the CDC and Whitehouse to fit that narrative. People are on to the tribal games by both incompetent leaders and have stopped listening. Joy Behar, one of the gabbing women on "The View" television show, proclaims that she will continue wearing a mask even if guidelines change. All of America is grateful to her for covering that ugly mug as much as possible. These argumentative and disagreeable people that want to blindly follow politicians shove the edicts down people's throats but it is one-directional. People that want to ditch masks do not care if folks keep wearing masks, that is fine, wear 10 masks if you like, but the pro-mask zealots want everyone to wear the mouth diapers continuously without excuse or complaint (although the politicians and elite privileged class ignore their own decrees). Note Added Friday Afternoon, 2/18/22: UK scientists are investigating vaccination data that shows an increase in deaths of boys and young men from 15 to 19 years old. Girls deaths did not increase. The death numbers for boys is likely even worse as the data accumulates. This is serious business. The earth's population serves as guinea pigs for the mRNA vaccines. A couple of American teenage boys that died after vaccinations were autopsied and myocarditis played a role in the deaths. Further research is needed to exactly determine if the China Virus killed them, the myocarditis issue, or both (the vaccination may bring on myocarditis in boys and young men). Former NIH head Collins opines that people should have been better informed about the side effects of vaccines. Thanks for nothing, buddy. Get yourself a lawyer as more documents surface about you and Fauci's involvement in funding the gain of function research that may have led to COVID-19 as well as hiding information concerning the likely Wuhan Lab leak that started the pandemic. The CDC keeps telling pregnant women to get vaccinated claiming that it helps protect their newborn. What? Where's the science on this? COVID-19 impacts children minimally; it is simply not a major concern. Smart parents know this and that is why they are choosing to not vaccinate their children. How can the CDC say it is better for pregnant women to be vaccinated in reference to their newborns when the data is so scant that a conclusion could not be drawn? It sounds like science fiction. No wonder Americans have lost confidence in Walensky, Fauci and the whole Hee-Haw gang.
Note Added Friday Evening, 2/18/22: In Ottawa, Canada, the sick and disturbed King Trudeau uses his dictatorial power to begin a hard crackdown on the truckers and families of the Freedom Convoy. Protesters ask the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to "please join us!" but instead are wrestled and handcuffed. The police are thugs and goons. A few of the protesters swear at officials and one tosses a bicycle under a horse's legs but these incidents are outliers. The Freedom Convoy in its 21st day has always been a peaceful protest as it endures the wrath of Dictator Trudeau. Journalists are roughed-up by cops and threatened with arrest if they do not move far away from the action. The protesters chant, "Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, etc.." as the police muscle peaceful protesters to the ground applying handcuffs. Two peaceful protesters are pushed to the ground and trampled by the advancing horses. Does Trudeau's consider the strong-arming of innocent civilians his finest hour? It is shameful. People continue protesting and Trudeau's dictatorial edicts may not resolve the issue. It is easy to understand why many folks have disdain for the police when witnessing such atrocities. Canada is destroying itself so the little baby boy King Trudeau can have his way. As one protester is taken away he declares, "We're coming right f%#$in back!" Ironically, Monday is Family Day in Canada. That is funny. The Canadian parliament cannot meet until Tuesday so King Trudeau will maintain the emergency power over all Canadians through Tuesday. As Canadian families enjoy Family Day, do not forget to take turns kneeling in front of a picture of King Trudeau as you are now a subject of his kingdom. Trudeau destroys the peaceful Freedom Convoy protest where families are enjoying time with each other. How does Trudeau then celebrate Family Day? Maybe by burning boy's hockey equipment and girl's baby dolls? Justin believes the holiday is only for his family. Canada is not worth visiting anymore. Trudeau is a villain for his deeds against Canadians. A poll shows that two-thirds of Canadians, across all 10 provinces, support the Freedom Convoy and their peaceful protests. Over one-half of Canadians say the country has changed forever in a bad way. Confidence is lost in banks, governments and institutions as Trudeau seizes bank accounts and crypto wallets and tracks down people that donate to the trucker's protest. Names are outed by the government and businesses and individuals are being harassed. What a sick country Trudeau creates. Call it what it is; martial law. You are thrown in jail and your money taken away if you disagree with the government. Canada is shaming itself. The mess in Ottawa is Trudeau's legacy; he will be known for his mistreatment of peaceful and freedom-seeking folks and enforcement of dictatorial martial law, along with his 'blackface' parties. Jackass US lawmakers are no better than Canada so America likely faces the same fate. Today, the US Congress defeats a bill that would stop the vaccine mandates. Corrupt US politicians talk a good story but only support the lobbyists and other big-money folks that shove cash into their pockets. Be glad that the crony capitalism system is crumbling and falling apart in real-time; it is corrupt to the core. Americans pledge allegiance to their political tribes rather than the country. There are 330 million people in the US so 24%, or 1 in every 4 Americans, have been infected with China Virus and the number could be twice as high. Some folks had covid and did not know it while other cases go unreported. Over 958K Americans are dead from coronavirus barreling towards 1 million souls; mainly fat and old folks. The US reports 108K daily new cases yesterday a low number for a Friday which is typically the highest data of the week. Saturday and Sunday numbers will be minimal. Ditto Monday because of the holiday. The new cases next week, Monday through Wednesday, will indicate if the Superbowl was a superspreader event (probably not). The 7-day MA for US daily new cases continues to plummet down to 108K cases per day and will be sub 100K per day next week. The US active cases curve continues rolling over and heading lower to form the bell shape and verify that the virus is being defeated. 2.1 Americans croak from COVID-19 yesterday and the 7-day MA is at 1.9K dead bodies per day continuing to move lower but too slowly. It is a shame to see 2,000 Americans dying per day this late in the pandemic game. The world's death rate drops to 9.8K per day moving sharply lower. Russia, Germany and Turkey continue struggling at handling their outbreaks with daily cases remaining at elevated numbers. Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam remain a mess. Chile continues struggling with elevated cases. New Zealand reports 1.9K daily new cases as the omicron wave goes parabolic.

Murthy gets touchy-feely opining, "When you've been as safe as you can, getting COVID-19 can be frustrating and disappointing. I've felt that. It can also be a source of shame. Many people assume you must have been careless to get sick. Our safety measures reduce risk but they can't eliminate risk. Nothing can." Feeling shame? Who would feel that way? If you are sick, you are sick. People think oddly nowadays. Who the Hell cares what someone else thinks anyway? If you do, you lead an idiot's life. Murthy continues, "So if you've done everything you can and gotten COVID-19 anyway, don't beat yourself up. A lot of us are doing the best we can. And let's not assume those who get sick are careless. We don't know people's circumstances. They may not be able to protect themselves the way we can." The way he can? Buddy, you and your family are triple vaccinated and wear five masks and you got covid. Murthy and the gang needed to spearhead efforts to help GlaxoSmithKline speed the production of monoclonal antibodies and Pfizer to produce Paxlovid pills 24/7 and the Americans would not be dying.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 2/19/22, at 7:00 AM EST: In America, 49 of the 50 states have lifted mask mandates in indoor settings (or will over the next couple weeks or so). Hawaii is the lone holdout. The country has moved on without the dithering CDC and Whitehouse. A poll indicates that 1 in 4 Americans want life to return to normal just like before the pandemic with no vaccine or mask mandates or any other draconian rules. Scientists continue monitoring the BA2 Omicron Subvariant and it remains in check so far. BA2 appears more contagious but the jury remains out if it is more deadly. Interestingly, some doctors and scientists are saying that BA2 is extremely hard to detect (which hints that the numbers may be far more, or less, than reported). The US daily and active cases continue dropping faster than Biden's approval ratings so the data shows that BA2 is not a serious threat as yet. Cases are subsiding in both Denmark and the UK, two of the poster children for the BA2 Omicron Subvariant, so it does not appear to be a big threat at this time.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 2/19/22, at 8:00 AM EST: Boston, Massachusetts, relaxes its mask and other guidelines based on the lower positivity rates, lower ICU beds occupied by covid patients, and lower 7-day MA trend line for hospitalizations. These are 3 useful criteria for exiting a pandemic although not great for warning people when entering an outbreak; daily new cases would be needed. The CDC COVID Data Tracker displays the US county map and it uses new cases and positive test rates to calculate the transmission risk. These are 4 great metrics that the data scientists will have to rejigger many different ways to see if a useful metric can be developed to warn people of a spreading virus, and provide guidance, as well as notify folks that the danger has passed and restrictions can be lifted. To keep things simple, a focus on the reporting and real-time data collection and analysis of daily new cases can be the universal basic metric for any pandemic. It leads all other data so obviously, for forecasting, like racing, you go with the fastest car; this metric is daily new cases. The CDC should tout the US county map more to train Americans to reference it for ongoing and future pandemics and other public health needs. The CDC needs to up its game and get that map and data to update daily not the week on week garbage they are using; no wonder the map remains blood red (indicating high transmission rates). There are no excuses in this technological age to be showing data that is always 3 days to a week, or more, old. The CDC requires shaming until they fix the data feed to update in real-time. Streamlining the reporting system for daily new cases from all states and hospitals would be a great goal helping future pandemics. Also, revising the data ranges on the map because right now, one-half of the states should be blue or yellow telling folks to relax the mask use; but this cannot be accomplished until the map updates daily. The funny thing is that any day forward, when the US county map flips to show its new week on week data, there will probably be one-half the states that turn yellow and blue. CDC Director Dr Walensky should be ready to tell those states to ditch the masks especially since they already have.

Another demonstrator is injured by the cops. More blood on Trudeau's hands. The injured person turns out to be a reporter and she is sitting on the ground crying. The cops are shutting down the peaceful protest. King Trudeau and the new Canada dictatorship wins. Or did he? Just think of the millions of young people that will now hate and distrust cops as long as they live. In the UK, PM Boris Johnson, that continues to hold onto his job despite the Partygate scandal, plans to roll back all the covid restrictions. Australia opens its borders to vaccinated foreign tourists. Trudeau's handling of the Freedom Convoy situation is disastrous. All he had to do from the start was meet with the truckers, show respect to their concerns, and work out a solution. People do not want the third shot let alone a fourth. The mRNA vaccines are not vaccines, instead, they are COVID-19 death prevention shots. Americans are weighing the risks and benefits of taking the multiple death prevention jabs and many are now saying they would rather take their chances. With coronavirus problems and the controversies surrounding communist China, the Games were not heavily followed by the world. Viewership did hit a record, however, since all 1.4 billion Chinese were told to watch the Games or receive a bullet in their head. Hong Kong's China Flu outbreak worsens daily with cases running over 6K per day since Thursday. Hospitals are overwhelmed. Hotels are commandeered to treat patients. Temporary facilities are being erected to handle isolation and testing. Residents are shocked seeing sick people lying on beds and sitting in chairs on the streets. Hong Kong is a mess jeopardizing China's zero-covid strategy. A Hong Kong official exclaims, "We are in full-scale combat!" Medical teams are sent into Hong Kong from mainland China to help with the outbreak (and likely single-out past dissidents, telling them they test positive, and sending them back to the mainland to never be heard from again; the world is an ugly place). New Zealand reports 2 days of over 1.8K cases per day with the zero-covid strategy in jeopardy. On a positive note, Denmark's 7-day MA trend line for daily new cases plummets to 35K cases per day dropping like a rock. More importantly, Denmark's active cases chart is dropping and starting to form the coveted bell shape verifying that the virus is being defeated. Why is this news in Denmark joyful? Because it serves as the posterchild for the BA2 Omicron Subvariant that is not putting up any kind of worrisome fight; in fact, with cases dropping sharply in Denmark, the new mutant is in decline.

The 7-day MA of US daily new cases is down to 96K cases per day a sub 100K number. Celebrate good times, come on! 1.8 Americans continue dying per day, however, is not good news. As patients gasp last breaths on earth, they ask if the GSK mAb treatments or Paxlovid pills shipments arrived. Not in time for them. US hospitalizations are down to 68K and this is from 2/13/22 the last data point on the subpar CDC COVID Data Tracker site. Note Added Sunday Morning, 2/20/22, at 5:00 AM EST: In Ottawa, Canada, the Freedom Convoy protesters set off fireworks and continue to occupy the city for 23 days running now in the fourth week. Canadian police, the Dudley Do-Right's that turned into Dudley Do-Wrong's, have arrested 170 peaceful citizens since Friday. The dictatorial behavior of King Trudeau is a shameful disgrace, and scar, upon Canada. The Freedom Convoy demonstrators say they will protest until Trudeau removes the COVID-19 mandates. Little Justin is finding it difficult to crush peaceful protesters that want freedom. Trudeau is on the wrong side of history digging a deeper hole for himself. Trudeau's riot police thugs say they are using pepper spray chemicals on the protesters instead of tear gas trying to make their actions sound less violent. That's funny. Ottawa Police Interim Chief Steve Bell flexes his muscles, denies that the cops have done anything wrong over the last few days, and proclaims, "If you are involved in this protest we will actively look to identify you and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges." Jawohl, Herr Kommandant! Bell decrees that he "will end this unlawful occupation." Canada used to be a friendly place now it is an ugly place.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 2/20/22, at 8:00 AM EST: Queen Elizabeth II is infected with China Virus. The 95-year old monarch has been on the British throne for 70 years. The Queen says symptoms are "mild" and "cold-like." Prince Charles tested positive for COVID-19 last week and had met with his Queen mother so there was concern that she may become ill. Said in jest, perhaps Charles wants to hurry along his ascension to the king's throne? The Queen is everybody's Mom and a tough ole bird, so a speedy recovery is surely on the way.
Note Added Sunday Evening, 2/20/22: Canada's King Trudeau is succeeding at destroying the Freedom Convoy in Ottawa and he plans to annihilate any individuals and businesses involved with the peaceful demonstration. The tyrant declares that 200 people are arrested, bank accounts frozen, crypto wallets seized and information is leaked to the public so citizens can hassle and berate the people and businesses supporting the peaceful protest. It is sickening stuff from the immature boy king Trudeau. The Ottawa replacement police chief (the real police chief resigned because he disagreed with Trudeau's plan to strongarm the peaceful protesters) lied about the activities over the last few days. Two people are injured when the cop on horseback trampled them (one is a Native Indian woman) and another peaceful demonstrator was injured by a projectile shot by police. Of course the cops lied. The daily death rate is dropping nicely at 9.5K souls per day. Russia, Germany, Turkey, Indonesia and Japan are peaking with daily new cases. Indonesia has been struggling at containing the outbreak since the majority of the vaccinated citizens have received the less-effective Chinese Sinovac vaccine. Malaysia may top out any day forward with its daily new cases. South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, southern China and Hong Kong remain worrisome with daily cases at record levels. Four China Flu cases are identified in Wuhan where the global catastrophe started in 2019 likely from a lab leak that the communists (CCP) continue denying as they destroy evidence. Perhaps karma is knocking at the Chinese door? What goes around comes around. China's zero-covid strategy will be tested to its limit in the coming days and few weeks. The Omicron Variant is highly contagious and the BA2 Omicron Subvariant even moreso. The countries to the south of China, such as Vietnam, are in covid Hell exacerbating the greater Southeast Asia outbreak. If the communists say 4 cases are found in Wuhan, China, then, like mice and roaches, there are far more hiding or not counted in the shadows. Many of the omicron cases are asymptomatic or cold-like so people work through it for a couple days. Nonetheless, it is poetic justice to see the deadly China Virus pathogen, spawned in the Wuhan Laboratories, likely in part with US funding and participation by Dr's Fauci, Collins and others, travel around the world for 2 years, and now return to its poison Wuhan womb.
