Here is another look at the SPX 2-hour chart. It is set up to fail. That is certainly a humorous flat top over the last day or so. Flat as a pancake or Marine crew cut. Same-o stuff over the last few days. The chart is cooked so it is simply a question of if happy news will hit the tape today, to save the day, or not. If not, down she goes.
The RSI and stochastics are overbot agreeable to a pullback. The rising wedge is ominous. The red lines show universal neggie d wanting to see a spankdown. Price has violated the upper band so the middle band at 3186 and lower band at 3161 are in play. Another candlestick will print in a few minutes starting at 10 AM EST.
President Trump is impeached last night by the House of Representatives for Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress. Donny got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. The funniest part of the whole saga is that President Trump won election mainly by exploiting Hillary Clinton's dishonesty and corruption. She had a server in her residence to keep tabs on people impacting the upcoming election in November 2016. Comically, her zeal to make sure she was a guaranteed winner ended up bringing her down.
Fast forward 3 years, and President Trump is using his inner circle and his own attorney to gather dirt in Ukraine on his political opponent, Joe Biden, in his zeal to make sure he wins the upcoming November 2020 election. The stuff is hilarious. It gets better because democrat and former Vice President Biden and his son are up to their eyeballs in scandal in Ukraine for allegedly providing political access for dollars. You do not want to hitch your wagon to either of these corrupt tribes. Be an independent thinker instead.
Trump was in rare form last night with a rally that lasted two hours; that is impressive for a man in his 70's. No doubt Donny expected the impeachment vote earlier in the afternoon before he started his Michigan campaign rally but it was later than expected. Donny's orange-head was extra sweaty and darker orange; a couple of times when he opined about the impeachment and his record it looked like he was going to cry; very un-Trumpian.
President Trump is the 3rd president in the history of the US to be impeached. He needs a civics lesson to understand co-powers in US government. Donny was spoiled by the first two years, like President Obama in his first two years, where they both controlled the House and Senate as well as the presidency. Trump does not want to be accountable for the way he operates fast and loose but the Constitution protects against this type of stuff and he must keep Congress abreast of what he is doing, whether he likes it or not.
The impeachment saga continues. The only people that care are the die-hard 30% republicans that worship at Donny's altar, and the 30% democrats that cannot stand the man. The 40% independents in the middle do not pay attention to all this garbage because they know the country and the two parties, the Republican Tribe and Democrat Tribe, are corrupt. The beat goes on.
