Article 99. When does the COVID-19 madness end? The daily
cases for the initial days of 2023 will dictate the pandemic path ahead for the
US and world. The United States is now in the 6 to 9-day infection incubation
window after Christmas so if a big bump in daily covid cases occurs (new
infections) and a potential new US wave 9 begins, it will appear over the
coming days.
On the world stage, the Chinese communists (CCP) continue
refusing to provide COVID-19 data on cases, hospitalizations, deaths, vaccinations,
medicines and drug supplies. It is not surprising since the communists have
been lying about the pandemic since 2019. There are millions of covid
infections occurring daily in China but the filthy CCP will not tell the world
what is going on via their state-controlled media.
Hearses, vans and other vehicles are in line at crematoriums
billowing black and gray human smoke 24/7. Dirtbag Dictator Xi and the CCP are
okay with the elderly dying since that alleviates the aging demographic problem
in China. Such is the modern world.
US wave 8 is in the bag and America is looking good going
forward but the next few days are an obstacle. The daily new cases this week
will show if the Hannukah/Christmas/Kwanzaa/Boxing Day/Festivus/New Years
holidays are a superspreader. The betting money says the new cases appearing
after the holidays should not be a big deal.
Sure, XBB15 is slightly more transmissible and the vaccines
and treatments may not hold up as well, but many Americans are visiting the
same family and friends they saw on Thanksgiving. There are also office parties
and other community events during December so folks were active and comingling
for the last 6 weeks.
Keystone knows of a family that got covid during
Thanksgiving after the young 24-year old buck brought it home. The people that
got infected are a mix of vaccinated and unvaccinated and everyone recovered
fine without any issues saying it was like a cold with a sore throat.
Obviously, it is only one anecdotal story but these folks will not be getting
COVID-19 from the recent holidays; they already had it.
Let’s start with the United States COVID-19 charts and see
if infections are spiking after the holiday fun. Keystone spent December
walking around with mistletoe taped on the end of a selfie stick. He received many
kisses and hugs from lovely ladies and there is no sign of covid yet in his
unvaccinated body. Nurse Goodbody is not happy with Keystone’s antics but if
you look closely, you can see that she is smiling.
The US daily new cases chart is shown above. Wow. The US
reports only 9K daily new cases for 1/1/23, New Year’s Day; a single-digit
number! It is dramatic since infections would be expected to be elevated in
some fashion after the holidays. The happiness must be tempered because it is
New Year’s Day. It is doubtful that the covid data is high on the priority list
as under-staffed nurses struggle through holiday shifts.
The US daily new cases for today and tomorrow, to be known
on Thursday and Friday morning (2-day data lag), are most important since they
are in the infection incubation window after the holidays and the data catch-up
should be in better shape after the last couple of hectic weeks.
The news gets better because Saturday’s daily cases are only
12K so for the first 2 days of the key infection incubation window, the US cases
are a pig in a poke and wave 9 is nowhere to be seen; hopefully it stays with
Godot and never arrives.
The 7-day MA for US daily new cases is down to 26K cases per
day this case rate now comparing back to July 2021!! Yippee! Hurray! The year
is starting off on with an upbeat tempo. The covid song, however, has to play
out for the week ahead to make sure wave 9 never appears.
The US active cases chart is shown above. The news is
positive because you can clearly see the roll over occurring and hopeful start
of forming the coveted bell shape to prove that the virus is being defeated.
Revisions have occurred in recent days so the US active cases have been peaking
sideways at 1.9 to over 2.1 million for the last 3 weeks. Active cases are
currently at 1.96 million trending lower. Everything’s Coming Up Roses.

Americans are dying from COVID-19 each day. The trend is moving lower great
news for this pandemic of the elderly. Perhaps all the susceptible old folks
have already died off? The chart clearly shows President Biden’s miserable
failure at reducing the COVID-19 death rate during 2022.
The death rate is likely on its way lower now simply due to
the daily and active cases dropping and many of the elderly already dead from
covid. Thanks for nothing Sleepy Joe and Amateur Kamala that spent their time
in 2022 on the windmills, solar cells and battery cars instead of saving human
lives. To each his own.
The 120 to 150 deaths per day range and lower is comparable
to a regular flu season and would transition the US covid pandemic into the
endemic phase.
Of course, the lower the number the better and it will be
joyous news when/if the COVID-19 death rate in America drops below one hundo
souls per day. The 158 deaths per day compares back to the start of the
pandemic in March 2020 fantastic news and another feather in the endemic cap.
Isn’t it comical that humans hope and pray for an endemic
disease because it is better than a pandemic? Everything is relative in life. Or,
humorously, if you are married, relatives.
Covid conditions have greatly improved in America in recent
days and the US bad state list below provides further insight. The states
requiring a hairy eyeball this week include New Jersey, New York, Maryland,
Delaware (now reporting data on a weekly basis), Virginia, West Virginia,
Arkansas and Ohio, but overall, US wave 8 is dead. The only potential roadblock
going forward is new infections appearing this week due to the holidays (and
the news on this front is good so far as explained above).
As per the CDC, US hospital admissions are rising, but the
data is 6 days stale. Note that the age breakdown clearly shows the parabolic
up move for folks over 70 years old stricken with COVID-19 while the other age
groups are flattish. Covid is a pandemic of the elderly. Where have I heard
that before?
Humorously, you will never hear Biden utter those words that
COVID-19 is a ‘pandemic of the elderly’ since the seniors are a major voting
block for the democrat tribe. Sleepy Joe may be sleeping all day but he is a
shrewd politician that knows to not scare the people that vote for him even
though they are dropping like flies. Isn’t the crony capitalism system
sickening?
US COVID-19 hospitalizations are steady at 34K but again,
the data is 6 days old. We are dealing with the incompetent CDC after all. With
all the modern technology at their fingertips, and Wall Street capable of trading
stocks in millisecond time intervals, the CDC boobs are only able to provide
week-old data. American mediocrity is on full display daily (it used to be
American excellence).
The US covid hospitalization chart is shown above. The 34K
hospitalizations are below the wave 7b peak at 38K a positive development; as
long as it remains that way. It is a shame that lots of older Americans,
especially poor folks, are suffering and dying while octogenarian Biden, that
controls the situation, vacations on exotic islands drinking a beverage that
has a little umbrella. Would you give a sh*t about other humans if you were
filthy rich? Some wealthy folks do. Most don’t.
The US vaccination rate is 250K shots per day but this data
is almost 2 weeks old so the uptake must be pitiful in real-time. No one is
getting a covid or flu shot when there is holiday fun in motion. At the vaccination
kiosk, Nurse Goodbody has almost finished reading “War and Peace.”
Goodbody got excited thinking that a person was walking
towards the booth ready to take the new booster shot but it was only the
delivery guy. The man in brown short pants provides more syringes that are
placed next to the other unused boxes of syringes. Nurse Goodbody goes back to
reading the novel. America has moved on from covid but has covid moved on from
America?
CDC Director Dr Walensky and Whitehouse COVID-19 coordinator
Dr Jha told Americans to get the booster shot by Halloween so the protection
will be strong for Thanksgiving. No one was listening. Keystone was busy
putting the finishing touches on his Superman Halloween costume that consisted
of blue tights and red Speedo’s. The pre-Halloween vaccination campaign was a
bust.
The Whitehouse and CDC need a lesson in marketing. You have
to sell the sizzle not the steak. If you want to sell vaccinations, sell the
smell of freedom in the air, vacations, getting out in crowds and meeting
people again, love, concerts, living life, excitement, adventure, rather than
telling people to roll up their sleeve and take another third, or fourth, or
fifth shot. The former sells the sizzle if you take the jab, the latter sells
the physical taking of the shot which few look forward to; it is like going to
the dentist.
It did not help that Dr Walensky got her booster with
fanfare and then exactly 4 weeks later, when protection is supposed to be at
its maximum, she got COVID-19. You cannot make the stuff up. It is bad luck on
the timing of events but that is the way it goes but after these incidents more
people think they do not need the shots.
Another vaccination campaign occurred ahead of Christmas and
the other end-of-year holidays but no one was listening then either. The
Whitehouse is pushing again for people to take vaccinations by year end but that
has come and gone and the vaccination talk now sounds like background noise or
elevator music.
The CDC Community Transmission map is a useful tool that
will be needed in future pandemics. The United States map is split into
counties so health measures can be assessed and implemented on a localized
basis. It is good stuff showing that someone is smart at the CDC.
The map displays more green and yellow compared to a week
ago a welcome sight. Again, it is CDC data so you know it is slow as molasses
to update; the data providing the map colors is 6 days old.
The orange high-risk counties account for 9% of the new
COVID-19 infections which is a reduction compared to the last month; great
news. The green low-risk and yellow medium-risk counties account for 91% of the
cases. The high-risk percentage was down to 3% about 6 weeks ago before wave 8
showed its ugly face popping the percentage to 9%.
Thus, if the orange counties can drop below 2%, preferably
to zero, that will be enough to herald the arrival of the covid endemic phase.
It will be a happy day if/when the map turns entirely green and yellow and then
all green.
The COVID-19 pandemic is taking on a positive vibe and
hopefully the new infections in the week ahead will not be a cold covid slap
across the face.
As per the CDC’s variant proportions data, XBB15 is the top
dog these days accounting for 41% of the new COVID-19 cases in the United
States. BQ11 accounts for 27% and BQ 1 is at 18% of the new infections. The BQ
bugs combined are 35% of the new US covid cases, consistent and steady over the
last couple weeks, now getting squeezed-out by the big bad XBB15 the new
swinging cock in the covid courtyard.
BA5 accounts for 4% of the cases now only a shadow of what
it was during its peak of greatness during wave 7b. BA5 and BF7 are the two
main culprits at play in communist China. This is why China should not be a big
worry for the rest of the world right now. Been there, done that. Other
nations, including America, have substantive levels of natural immunity in play
so the rise of a BA5 wave around the world is not on the table anymore; it
already occurred. China represents the tail-end of BA5 not the head.
The XBB strain accounts for 4% of the new infections. The
XBB and BQ lineages account for 80% of the new infections in the United States;
4 out of every 5 new covid cases. BN1 and BF7 are each at 2% of the new US
cases. There are 17 variants in play in the US right now under close scrutiny
including those mentioned, a covid alphabet soup, with another two hundo
variants trying to make a name for themselves in the background.
The good news is that the virus realizes if it kills off all
the hosts, it will die too, so to extend its life in the endemic phase,
COVID-19 becomes less deadly but more transmissible a la XBB15. It is the
vulnerable and the elderly that should be the focus of the COVID-19 pandemic
and the doctors that signed the Great Barrington Declaration knew this in early
2020.
Too bad Fauci and others in control of the US narrative were
playing games and prevented the intelligent, reasonable and fact-based doctors,
with hands on experience treating covid patients in the trenches with a variety
of therapies, from speaking.
Even more sickening, the medical establishment still does
not get the memo that the elderly and folks with health conditions should be
the focus of the pandemic. Instead, the dolts are hawking and promoting covid
shots to toddlers, children, teenagers and young people, like a cable news
pitchman selling an energy drink on late-night television. Stupidity knows no
bounds.
Remember, the percentages of the variants will move up and
down and it sounds scary that one-half of the new infections are the XBB
lineage, however, the overall covid pie is shrinking. Look at the US daily new
and active cases charts in retreat above. XBB15 may sound scary and bad but so
far it is simply the most dominant variant occurring as the US COVID-19 cases
track solidly lower (unless infections pop higher this week due to the
holidays).
Moving on to the world stage, China (including Hong Kong) is
a covid Hell with millions of cases occurring daily but the CCP refuses to tell
the world what is happening. It is pretty bad when the WHO, that lies in bed
with the CCP, are criticizing China for lack of information on covid cases,
hospitalizations, deaths, vaccinations and availability of medicines and
medical supplies. The Chinese data is unreliable so a chart cannot be offered
due to the CCP’s dishonesty but this behavior is expected from a belligerent communist
nation.
The world’s daily new cases chart is shown above painting a
positive path forward for the planet as 2023 begins. The world reports 258K
daily new cases for 1/1/23 and the 7-day MA is trending lower at 428K cases per
day great news. Wave 10 is in the bag.
Remember, the Chinese communists are not providing their
COVID-19 data so the world charts do not include the heinous covid Hell
occurring across mainland China right now. Cases move lower as Central Europe
recovers from recent outbreaks. Japan, South Korea and Taiwan need to beat back
their ongoing covid infection waves for the world cases to make substantive
progress lower.

Covid is harvesting 1.4K souls per day around the world mostly old sick folks.
The death rate needs to go below 1.3K covid bodies per day to compare back to
the start of the pandemic and indicate that the endemic phase is within sight.
Japan’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The island
nation is slapped silly by XBB and other variants. The population was shielded
and secluded from the rest of the world so zero natural immunity was in play and
now the covid piper must be paid; just like China, South Korea, Australia and
New Zealand. The virus will eventually find you no matter how long you hide in
the closet or under the bed.
Japan is averaging 148K cases per day with the daily new
cases trend line curling over to the downside happy news. But will it stick?
The peak day is 216K cases on 12/28/22, last Wednesday. Thus, tomorrow’s cases,
which will be known on Friday morning, will tell the tale on Japan since the
daily cases can be directly compared to the 216K peak a week ago. Keep your
fingers crossed. Japan should be peaking now.
Japan’s daily new deaths chart is shown above. Sticking out
like a sore thumb is the 420 souls that died from China Virus on 12/29/22 the
deadliest day of the pandemic for the island nation. The 7-day MA averages over
300 covid deaths per day but may be peaking.
Taiwan’s daily new cases chart is shown above. It is a shame
that Taiwan was improving so nicely and now is sidetracked by a new infection
wave. The infections are rising at least in part due to the out-of-control
outbreak on mainland China.
Taiwan’s daily new cases go parabolic at over 25K new
infections per day. Lousy news but the Taiwanese are intelligent folks with
smart leaders that will figure it out unlike the unfortunate Chinese folks that
have to live under the communist and dictatorial rule of dirtbag Dictator Xi
and his CCP henchmen.
Brazil’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Covid is
attacking South America but the news media does not mention the trouble. They
likely do not know. The news is good for South America’s largest country.
Brazil’s cases peaked on 12/23/22 now 11 days in the rearview mirror so it is
likely that the top is in. The active cases chart is rolling over for Brazil
and it will probably be taken off the bad country list (below) in the days
ahead.
The covid infection waves in South America are running about
4 to 5 weeks up then 4 to 5 weeks down. Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina
and others are experiencing new infection waves but the cases are manageable.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 102.7 million. India is next with 44.7 million total virus
cases. France, Germany, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, Italy, UK, Russia, Turkey, Spain,
Vietnam, Australia, Argentina, Taiwan, Netherlands, Iran, Mexico, Indonesia,
Poland and Colombia round out the top 22 worst nations for total COVID-19 cases.
Over the last week, Japan leapfrogs South Korea. India remains at 44.7 million total cases for
the last month great news.
COVID-19 has infected 666 million people worldwide an
infamous Satanic number (trip 6’s). China (CCP) owes reparations to the world
for its sick heinous crime against humanity. 6.7 million people on Earth are
dead from the China Flu. 637 million global citizens have recovered from the
virus.
96% (637/666) of the people that become infected with COVID-19
recover in a reasonable time frame. The percentage remains steady for many
months. Worldwide, 1.0% (6.7/666) of the people that are infected with covid
die; 1 in 99 (hit the 1/x button on your calculator). This number has not
changed for a couple years. If the vaccines are effective at reducing death why
has the death rate not subsided? Maybe because the shots are not as effective
as touted.
8.7% (666/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 11 people on earth. 0.09%
of the world’s population (6.7/7670) died from the pandemic so far; 1 in every
1,145 people on earth died from China Virus over the last 3 years.
The latest census data shows that the world has crossed the
8 billion population milestone but the Coronavirus Chronology will continue
using the 7.67 billion number for calculations to remain consistent. With a
little luck, Keystone’s 3-year Coronavirus Chronology writing journey may end soon
maybe with Article 100 but that may be too much to ask with China’s infections
spinning out of control.
In the United States, 102.7 million people have been
infected with covid. 1.12 million Americans are dead. 99.6 million Americans have
recovered from coronavirus. This equates to 97% (99.6/102.7) of US citizens recovering
after becoming infected with COVID-19.
Those are good odds especially when you look around and see
most people fatter than yourself. Most of the COVID-19 deaths are old or fat
people and heaven help you if you are old and fat. COVID-19 is a pandemic of
the elderly.
In the US, 1.1% (1.12/102.7) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. 1 in every 92 US citizens that are infected with coronavirus die. 0.34% (1/330)
of Americans have died from COVID-19 which is 1 in every 297 Americans over the
last 34 months.
31% (102.7/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid. That is almost at 1 in every 3 Americans.
The latest data and commentaries, even from the CDC is that 80% and maybe 90%
or more of Americans have been infected with COVID-19 over the last 34 months
(many positive tests and illnesses are not reported and some people did not
know they had covid).
The US is defeating wave 8 probably because of the strong
herd immunity in play (vaccinations plus natural immunity).
The United States has 15.4% (102.7/666) of the COVID-19
cases in the world. 2 in every 13 people that become infected with covid on the
planet are Americans. The US vaccination program made an impact month’s ago,
but not so much in recent months.
The US accounts for 16.7% (1.12/6.7) of the China Flu deaths
in the world. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are Americans.
A couple years ago, it was 1 in 5 so vaccinations helped.

China is in covid Hell with millions of infections per day. Good luck to the Chinese folks, especially the elderly, since the CCP does not care.
Over a dozen countries are requiring covid tests from
travelers arriving from China, Hong Kong and Macau, the gambling mecca,
including Japan, South Korea, India, Taiwan, Malaysia, France, Spain, Italy,
UK, US, Canada, Qatar and Morocco. The Chinese communists (CCP) accuse these
nations of discrimination. Shut up, comrade. China is not providing COVID-19
data to the world so these nations are doing what is necessary to protect their
people.
Granted, nothing will stop the spread of any virus but since
red China will not provide the genomic sequencing, countries are performing
these tests on infected passengers. The good news is that none of the samples
tested so far, from Chinese passengers that test positive for COVID-19,
indicate any new variants at play. Most of China’s ongoing heinous outbreak is
the BA5 variant and the rest of the world already went through that wave.
Note how the bad country list is dominated by South America
including Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina but these case
numbers are small in comparison with other hot zone countries. The worst covid
hotspots are China (including Hong Kong), Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
Germany should improve going forward.
Slovenia, Australia, New Zealand, Guatemala, Venezuela and
Sweden were all taken off the back country list as their active covid cases
curves are dropping lower. Guatemala crosses the 20K COVID-19 deaths grim
milestone.
The United States bad state list below calls out the states
with rising active COVID-19 cases. Infections are increasing in these states. People
are seeking medical care and the situation is worsening. New Mexico and Arizona
were the only 2 states on the list 7 weeks ago, then there were 15 states on
the list 5 weeks ago, then 37 states 3 weeks ago, then 33 states about a week
ago and now 17 states.
That’s a big improvement and many other states should
disappear off the bad list in the coming days as noted below. The wildcard is
the holiday infections which will be known in the following days. Hopefully,
states will not have to be added back on to the bad list. Did Santa deliver
covid with those toys?
The key takeaway is that Wave 8 is over and in the coming
days we find out if a new wave 9 begins.
Focus on the US daily new cases now through 1/4/23 since
this is the infection window where a big pop in cases will occur if Christmas
was a superspreader. The US cases that appear, or do not appear, in the next
few days, will tell the tale for America’s pandemic for Q1 (January, February,
March).

US wave 8 was created by the Thanksgiving Day and holiday weekend infections and it is over. Now we wait to see if wave 9 appears after Christmas. A big spike in cases in Arkansas requires close watching.
16 states were removed from the bad list since their active
cases are moving lower including Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Indiana, Iowa,
Washington, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kansas, New Hampshire,
Oklahoma, Missouri, Massachusetts and Florida.
As mentioned many times, the tell for the COVID-19 pandemic
for Q1 2023 depends on the case numbers from 12/30/22 through 1/4/23 that will
be known now through Friday, 1/6/23. America’s covid fate will be etched in
stone in the week ahead. America’s herd immunity is holding up well so a happy
ending is expected.
The Coronavirus Chronology is using 8 metrics to assess the
pandemic to endemic transition and the world is not making much headway. (1) The
world’s daily new cases should be below 360K per day to claim endemic status and
cases are in the 400K’s per day. (2) The world’s daily new deaths should be
below 1.3K per day and they are 1.4K so this metric has a little more to do to
wave the endemic banner.
(3) For the United States to be in the endemic phase, the
daily new cases should be below or around 10K cases per day and are now at 28K
per day and dropping. (4) US active cases should be below 730K cases (at least
below 1 million) now at 1.9 million. (5) The US COVID-19 death rate should be
below 180 bodies per day now at about 158 souls per day so there is a checkmark
in the endemic column.
(6) To declare the endemic phase in America, US
hospitalizations should drop below 10K patients and are now flatlining at 34K. (7)
The CDC Community Transmission map should turn completely green and yellow to
usher in the endemic phase and 91% of US counties meet these criteria with 9%
remaining in the high-risk orange zone.
(8) Lastly, the public needs to accept that the pandemic is
over and this is already in the endemic column since most Americans have
resumed their normal lives and ignore the COVID-19 news.
There is a lot more work to do to declare the endemic phase.
Only 2 of the 8 guidelines are in the endemic phase. But playing the role of MrBrightside, two is better than one and also better than zero so the planet is
heading in the right direction to transition into the endemic phase.
Perhaps big progress will occur in the days ahead because
the charts show that the world’s wave 10 is diminishing and the US wave 8
pimple is popped and flattened with daily cases at levels not seen since July

Tragedy strikes at an American football game last evening
between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. Buffalo Bill Damar Hamlin, a
safety, makes a tackle then jumps up grabs his helmet, and collapses. He
remains in critical condition in an induced coma with a breathing tube down his
throat.
Doctors say he suffered a heart attack. Right away, it is
predictable, social media is abuzz that it may be a COVID-19 mRNA
vaccine-induced heart event. All the NFL (National Football League) players and
staffs are vaccinated like pincushions so that is a lot of spike proteins
circulating in their bodies. The game was postponed due to the terrible event.
Everyone is praying for his recovery.
The medical talking heads on television immediately reach a
conclusion that it is a commotio cordis cardiac event. In simple terms, the blunt
force of the routine tackle may have knocked his heart out of rhythm. How come
when these athletes drop over with a heart attack over the last few months, or
journalists, or CNN producer, or European soccer players, or a jogger in Florida, or others, young people all vaccinated like

condition that no one knew about during their entire lives until they took the
jabs and dropped over?
A recent poll indicates that 49%, call it one-half of the
respondents, says that the COVID-19 vaccines are linked to deaths. It is common
sense. It is a matter of to what degree. Are a few deaths tolerable for helping
millions? Probably, yes. Where is that line where a bunch of deaths, especially
in young viral people, are too many to justify using a vaccine?
Perhaps the COVID-19 vaccines should only be administered to
older folks and those with underlying health conditions? That would be smart
but there are still stupid people in charge despite the Fauch retiring a couple
days ago.
Smart doctors have been preaching for 3 years that only the
older Americans and those with underlying health conditions should consider the
COVID-19 mRNA vaccines but their voices are silenced by the two political
tribes, Fauci and television talking heads promoting their own corrupt narratives.
The heart attacks and heart issues must be monitored in
America over the next 2 years to determine if there is any links with the mRNA
vaccines. The likely culprit is the spike proteins circulating in the body. If
they cluster in a specific area such as the lung, heart or brain, problems
occur, but the scientists will have to figure it out over the coming years. The
heart attacks (myocarditis) and blood-clotting issues in vaccinated individuals
must be investigated over the next couple years if trust is to be restored in
vaccines and the medical establishment.
Vice President Kamala Harris is requiring all senators,
their spouses, guests, and anyone within sight of Her Majesty’s butt, to submit
a negative covid test before they can have their picture taken with the sacred
one. Isn’t it sickening? If you are that paranoid lady, simply do not take any
photos and postpone or cancel the event. Interestingly, visitors can be
vaccinated or unvaccinated that does not matter. Queen Kamala, however, wants
you to prove that you do not have covid before you kneel and kiss her feet.
The endemic phase remains elusive. The pandemic should
improve going forward but China remains a wildcard. Scientists fear a new
variant developing in China and then the new bug circulating the world creating
another year of pandemic pain. These fears are unwarranted since China’s
outbreak is mainly BA5 with some BF7 and the world has been there, done that.
The world needs wave 10 to continue subsiding and for China,
Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and South America to defeat their infection waves
before an end to the pandemic can occur. The United States looks good but the
data is needed for this week to determine if the holidays are a superspreader
event.
The betting money says that good things are ahead for the US
and the world in 2023. The transition from the COVID-19 pandemic to the endemic
phase should be at hand. Israel may announce the transition to the endemic
phase later this month. A German official was heard saying that he thought the

Anecdotal stories about families losing elderly loved ones are making their way out through the communist firewall. The crematoriums remain packed with hearses and vans cueing in line. Japan likely topped-out with daily cases during the last few days and should chart a happier path forward. Over 300 Japanese continue dying each day from COVID-19 more than the United States covid death rate. The XBB lineage is wreaking havoc in the island nation and China better hope and pray that the bug from Japan does not infiltrate the mainland. If so, commie China may spend the first half of the year battling COVID-19. Yesterday's cases, to be known tomorrow morning, say in about 20 hours, will be the first important read on US cases after the holidays. If the cases tomorrow morning (for Tuesday) come in under 30K, it will be celebration time since a wave 9 will be unlikely setting-up a happy walk to the endemic phase ahead. Arkansas's data is delayed but the last two days are the big spike of 1.8K cases on 12/30/22 and then down to 669 cases for 12/31/22 a big retreat. The spike in cases in Arkansas may be a one-off but it requires monitoring this week and is interesting since the mayor of Little Rock is sick with covid. Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, New York, New Jersey, Ohio and a few other states must be watched closely but it appears that a happy ending is ahead for the United States. The daily new cases are needed for the next few days, however, before confetti can be thrown. The doom and gloom in the media both US and international is unwarranted. The US is looking good and probably escaping a winter wave. Central Europe is improving. Japan is likely peaking now. South America is working through their infection waves. China's outbreak is out of control but it is mainly BA5 that the rest of the world has already seen. Maybe the covid glass of water should be considered half-full rather than half-empty.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 1/4/23, at 6:30 AM EST: The XBB15 variant is identified in 70 of the 200 nations on earth so it is likely occurring in at least one-half the countries on the planet. The WHO continues applying pressure to China to provide data on the current major outbreak. The WHO does not fault nations for screening travelers from China due to the lack of information on the variants at play. The WHO is likely trying to regain credibility by pushing back against the CCP. China and the WHO had too cozy of a relationship at the start of the pandemic in late 2019 and early 2020 when the communists were placing infected passengers on airplanes sending them all around the world. The WHO says that BA5, BA52 and BF7 account for 98% of the infections in China. BA52 is a variant that has not been applicable until now. Across the ocean in Asia, the border is reopening between China and Hong Kong but this is much ado about nothing. Travelers are flying back and forth and there are two checkpoints where people have crossed for months. The world reports 368K cases for Tuesday and the 7-day MA trendline is down to 392K cases per day dropping below 400K cases per day. Japan's active cases chart is over 8 million cases. 6%, or 1 in every 15 Japanese, are receiving healthcare for a current covid infection or for long-covid. Tomorrow morning's daily new cases will dictate if the top is in for the daily cases for Japan which would signal the worst is over and the infection wave has peaked. Hong Kong's peak infection day is 12/31/22 for the current wave so extrapolating this across all of China (since the communists will not provide covid data) sets-up a potential top for the daily cases. The Hong Kong cases for 1/7/23 are important because they will directly compare to 12/31/22 but this is not available until 1/9/23. Thus, a few more days are needed to guesstimate that the top is in for mainland China's current covid infection wave. The world is heading in the right direction to transition from the pandemic into the endemic phase but the one thing that no one is thinking about is a potential more serious wave for China in the weeks ahead. China is battling the BA5, BA52 and BF7 variants right now. The world has already seen BA5 and to a lesser extent BF7. Been there, done that. A worst-case scenario for China, and the world, due to the economic rather than health impact, is if the communist nation is hit with the XBB, XBB1 and XBB15 wave say, during February and March. China will be in a world of hurt this spring if those bugs hit the mainland and they likely will. Taiwan reports 34K daily new cases for Wednesday the most for the current infection wave. Mainland China infected Taiwan. This being the case, Taiwan is likely a week or two behind China's infection wave so it can be used as a gauge to assess what is going on inside the communist mainland. When Taiwan peaks with daily new cases, it can be assumed that China's infection wave likely peaked a week or two earlier. For now, Taiwan's COVID-19 wave continues higher. The world is healing from covid and heading towards the endemic phase. With Japan and South Korea likely improving going forward, the only China Virus hotspots to keep an eye on are China (including Hong Kong) and Taiwan.

The over 70 years old group displays the sharpest spike higher so they are filling the covid coffins in greater proportions. The 60 to 69 year old's are under a greater threat with the admissions starting to sneak higher than the prior wave 7b; not good. The daily cases data do not show a problem but admissions are clearly ramping higher especially for older folks; it is a pandemic of the elderly. More folks over 60 years old are getting sick with covid that means the fatties in this age group better take better care of themselves, otherwise, the guy in the black covid robe may be coming to get you. Using the dropdown menu, New York State shows a big spike in hospital admissions for the over 70 crowd. Ditto New Jersey so you wonder if these two states are creating the bulk of the spike in the admissions graph. Nope. If you check random states, many show a pop higher in hospital admissions in the folks over 70 years old because, all together now, covid is a pandemic of the elderly. US hospitalizations also ramp higher, they typically lag admissions by 3 or 4 days, and New York and New Jersey show sharp rises. The elderly are most impacted by covid but considering that flu and RSV are still prevalent, are the hospitals still receiving incentives to report more COVID-19 cases? Is this occurring? Money controls human behavior. The daily new cases are undercounted these days since people take covid tests at home and many do not report the results. However, the CDC data is notoriously slow to update. Therefore, the graphs shown on the CDC sites are days behind the actual daily new cases data so the situation could already be improving. The elderly are most seriously impacted by XBB15 but the concern may dissipate quickly. The CDC wastewater map is not of much use. Keystone calls it the glitter-dot map but it shows a high percentage of COVID-19 cases on the East Coast around New Jersey and New York (tiny red glitter-dots). The wastewater data can help with identifying variants but other than that, the entire budget should be slashed and that money put towards updating daily cases and other data in real-time. Note Added Tuesday Morning, 1/10/23, at 8:00 AM EST: Lynette Hardaway, 51, of the television and radio duo Diamond and Silk, that promote the republican agenda, dies presumably from COVID-19. The family does not release the cause but social media is in a tizzy once again. This time, liberals proclaim that Hardaway's death is due to COVID-19 because she did not get vaccinated. Humans like to dance on graves nowadays. Rumors say she had covid in November but others say this is unsubstantiated. It appears that she did have a respiratory ailment but it may have been RSV or flu. The republican tribe decrees that Hamlin the football player may have collapsed due to taking the COVID-19 vaccine while the democrat tribe proclaims that Hardaway passes away because of not taking the vaccine. They are all sick idiots talking out of their butts. There is a high likelihood that Hamlin's affliction may be vaccine related at least in part, and if Hardaway died from covid, the major factor would be her obesity regardless of vaccination status. God Bless Her. Good luck to Silk since it is difficult losing someone close let alone a business partner. COVID-19 loves the heart and lungs of old and fat people. These precious elderly and obese folks need protected and educated about their health but instead the Whitehouse and CDC are spending time and resources marketing vaccines to toddlers, teenagers and young adults. The level of stupidity and complete lack of common sense in America these days is remarkable.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 1/10/23, at 11:00 AM EST: The WHO recommends wearing masks on long airplane flights. They have learned nothing during the pandemic. People will remain calm as long as the masks are only a recommendation and not a mandate. A mask is not effective if you are picking your nose, wearing it over your chin, eating, scratching an itch, lifting the corner to get a gulp of fresh air, sneezing, smiling for a selfie, coughing, blowing your nose, etc... The best defense against catching a virus is simply staying away from people as much as possible until the threat passes. At the same time, keep your weight within the normal range for your height and bone structure, your BMI, and exercise, eat healthy and take vitamins and supplements to support your immune system.

When did he take his COVID-19 vaccinations? There's nothing wrong with asking. A new study shows that the excessive deaths in young folks in their 20's and 30's has increased 10-fold and more during 2021 and 2022. Is it COVID-19 vaccine-induced myocarditis and blood clots at the root of the big increase in deaths in young folks? Inquiring minds want to know. Young people drop over from heart issues it is nothing new. Keystone previously mentioned when he was in high school many decades ago, his friend Mike, the best athlete among us boys, collapsed and died in gym class. However, when these types of deaths are occurring with great frequency and at a rate many levels higher than the data for previous years, something is amuck. COVID-19 vaccines are in play as the deaths increase substantially. Is anyone looking into this or is the corrupt crony capitalism system covering-up the truth about vaccine-induced myocarditis for political reasons? Will we ever know the truth? There remains a grey area where commanders may choose to not deploy unvaccinated troops at their own discretion. Humorously, for an unvaccinated soldier that is a lover not a fighter, this would be a good thing. There are stupid people in charge of the country. The vaccine mandate should have never been implemented. The Pentagon buckles because their recruitment goals are being missed by wide margins. Young people see how the military treats troops like animals telling them to heel and inject mRNA into their bodies because the guy in the fancy hat says so. No thank you. Thousands of highly-skilled dedicated troops were sh*t-canned and lost forever from the service because of the experimental vaccine mandate implemented by stupid people. The COVID-19 vaccine mandate backlash will be a lingering problem for the US military branches and their recruitment goals. The airline industry and healthcare industry, the nurses, have the same problem. Japan's outbreak continues with covid deaths averaging 352 Japanese bodies per day the highest rate of the pandemic. South Korea's infection wave is in retreat at 54K cases per day. South Korea slaps back at China concerning the tit-for-tat travel restrictions. 80% of the passengers arriving in South Korea from China are testing positive for COVID-19. Dirtbag Dictator Xi and the CCP love to purposely infect the world with viruses. The travelers are not all Chinese folks. There are Korean nationals and extended and blended families so the discrimination issue touted by corrupt media outlets is unwarranted. South Korea is simply trying to protect their population from China's unwillingness to provide data and information on the current COVID-19 outbreak and from the CCP constantly sending infected travelers around the world. Taiwan is trying to flatten its daily new cases curve at 26K per day; good news. The global data is going in the right direction and the 261K covid cases worldwide for a weekday number is a welcome sight. Brazil is improving nicely ditto Bolivia. Countries that have lower vaccination rates and experienced widespread infection waves built up stronger natural immunity across the population and fare better with the new outbreaks than the countries that shielded and isolated their people while relying on vaccines that are not as effective as originally touted. In the end, as the pandemic makes the transition into the endemic phase, the countries that chose isolation as their 3-year pandemic path had to pay the covid piper in the end (China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand).

The 7-day MA for US daily covid cases is down to 25K cases per day moving towards the teens to signal the end of the pandemic phase. New Jersey reports only 1.8K cases for Monday and New York State remains steady reporting 6.7K cases. Keep your fingers crossed as the US and world march toward the COVID-19 endemic phase.

The administration is supposed to provide 60 days notice before terminating the emergency order so it was known in late November and December that bonehead Biden would extend the order that is no longer needed. The new order will expire in April if Biden confirms this intention before the end of February. If Sleepy Joe sleeps through February and says nothing the corrupt ruling will allow the pigs to feed at the trough for another 3 months beyond April. Such is America and the crony capitalism system in its final throes. Kansas democrat Governor Laura Kelly tests positive for COVID-19 so you know that she is, all together now, isolating at home experiencing mild symptoms. She has come in contact with many people at an inaugural ball and many other events in recent days so everyone is encouraged to take a covid test to see if they are sick. Decisions that are made for the public have to be made based on all available information, not just some information, but all information." Jha tries to smooth-talk the issue saying, "It's a different bivalent vaccine." Whozzit? Whatzzit? When is there a different bivalent vaccine? Jha says the current booster is better than the original shot (the new data questions this conclusion) and it is irrefutable because independent researchers performed the studies. Who were the so-called independent researchers? Uncle Fred, Cousin Larry and Neighbor Frank? Jha creates confusion talking about another bivalent vaccine and then concluding that the booster shot is fine and there is nothing to see here move along, move along. Scientists scream at Americans telling them to blindly believe and follow what they say when it is increasingly obvious they are not smart people. The medical profession has lost credibility over the last 3 years due to the shoddy work, lying, pledging allegiance to political narratives instead of patients, and never owning up to the many pandemic mistakes and missteps. The Chinese government is telling citizens to not visit elderly parents during the lunar new year holiday. The idiot communists are woefully unprepared to handle the current outbreak and learned nothing from the rest of the world over the last 3 years. Dirtbag Dictator Xi and the CCP pretend to care but they are glad the elderly are dying since it will help the flailing economy (communists perceive old people as a burden to society) and improve the nations aging demographics problem. China's funeral homes and crematoriums remain packed with dead bodies with no end in sight. The hospitals buckle under the demands of the hard-working and dedicated nurses and the strike is over. The hospitals agree to increase staffing and enforce lower nurse to patient ratios. The nurses also receive pay raises and improvements to their health insurance plans. Good on them. They deserve all that and more. Look around, folks. The United States is not getting any younger.

Reporters are seeking information on the vaccination status of Hamlin, the football player that collapsed on the field, but are stonewalled by the hospital and family. Something smells. There was a rumor days ago that Hamlin received the covid booster shot 6 days before he dropped over. Japan continues struggling with covid cases at about 200K per day; one-half the cases worldwide (China is refusing to report its data). Tragically, 400 Japanese are dying per day from COVID-19 more than the United States or any other nation sans China that is likely experiencing thousands of covid deaths per day. Taiwan's infection wave is at 24K cases per day and likely peaking. Taiwan reports 26K cases for Wednesday and this is below the 34K cases the prior hump day which is the peak for the current infection wave; great news. The rest of the world is in good shape. Germany's infection wave is in retreat. Ditto Brazil. The bad country list above will have to be whittled-down further in Article 100 of the Coronavirus Chronology that is slated for publication tomorrow. The endemic phase is coming into sight if only Japan and China would cooperate. Global deaths remain high in the 1.6K to 1.7K covid bodies per day range. Note Added Friday Morning, 1/13/23, at 4:00 AM EST: The United States reports 48K daily new cases for hump day a good number since Wednesday's and Friday's are the highest numbers reported each week. The trend is fantastic when looking back at the Wednesday's since they serve as the peak day of cases for each week. Wednesday is 48K cases. A week before that number was 58K. Two weeks before it was 66K and the week before that 74K and the week before that in mid-December, which was the peak for the US daily cases for wave 8, the cases were pushing 80K for a couple of days. The US daily new cases have been trending down for a month. Why are the news reports (mainly from the democrat-run press) non-stop doom and gloom? Is it more orchestrated fear porn by the Whitehouse, CDC, NIH and democrat-controlled media to try and encourage people to take the covid shots? Probably. America is ran by sick control freaks; nothing is going to change that. The US COVID-19 hospitalizations are flat-lining at 40K or less for this year and would be expected to roll over lower considering the ongoing drop in daily cases. The only accurate and fair assessment of the COVID-19 pandemic occurring in real time is the Coronavirus Chronology. US covid deaths remain elevated averaging 365 bodies per day. Biden was hired to handle the pandemic but he failed at preventing Americans from dying from COVID-19. Sleepy Joe is now mired in a new scandal with secret documents, that he is responsible for, showing up in three different unsecured locations. Note Added Friday Morning, 1/13/23, at 5:00 AM EST: Israel releases a study concluding that most people experiencing long-covid symptoms after a mild COVID-19 infection see those issues resolve within a year's time. This is good news for those struggling with covid symptoms that hurts their ability to work. The lesson is hang in there, take care of yourself, eat healthy foods, take vitamins and supplements, drink a lot of water, go for a walk or run to pump fresh air into your lungs, and get yourself better. Maintain a positive attitude and know that you will get better as the study proves.
Note Added Friday Morning, 1/13/23, at 6:00 AM EST: Keep your fingers crossed. It appears that the COVID-19 endemic phase is parting ways with Godot and will arrive for the world in the days and weeks forward perhaps coming on far faster than anyone realizes. No one will be happier than Keystone that will put the Coronavirus Chronology to bed as the pandemic winds down morphing into the endemic phase. China and Japan need to get with the program. Writing 100+ articles and annotating about 800 charts is enough pandemic misery for a lifetime. Maybe the Coronavirus Chronology will end over the next couple articles (this has been opined before only to see another infection wave). There were 101 Dalmatians so maybe 101 Coronavirus Chronology's will do it. Time will tell. The Whitehouse, CDC and NIH will be glad to see the Coronavirus Chronology end since they will not have to shadow ban, outright ban, censor, harass and cancel Keystone's writing anymore. At least until they see Keystone's future COVID-19 articles and books published on the pandemic. After being intimate with China Virus every day for the last 3 years, Keystone knows where all the covid bodies are buried and will be glad to remind everyone.
