The doom and gloom in the US media are at fever pitch.
Pandemic commentators opine about the horrors of the BA4 and BA5 subvariants.
Hand-wringing and hyperbole are standard fare. Oh, the Humanity! Millions of
Americans have moved on from the pandemic resuming their pre-China Virus lives
and are not even paying attention to the medical pundits anymore.
Dr’s Fauci and Jha are a COVID-19 task force tag-team
professing to Americans that ‘if you are 50 years old or older and not had a
vaccination this year, get a shot now’. Millions of Americans have lost
interest in the so-called vaccines that even after 4 shots, the initial 2, then
the booster, and booster-booster, people can still become infected and pass the
virus on to others. That’s the new definition of a vaccine; a multiple shot
series that does not prevent a disease or its transmissibility. Go figure.
Fauci and Jha also declare that the BA5 subvariant is the
most transmissible strain and the most immune evasive strain. Wrong. These are
the folks that are running the show. All they have to do is look at a chart.
The US daily new cases chart is shown above. The chart clearly
shows the slope of the red lines for waves 3, 5 and 6 steeper than the current
wave 7 (that is actually moving flat sideways right now). The slope represents
the rate of infection occurring. US wave 6 was the most transmissible outbreak
(steepest parabolic move higher) which was the B11529 strain out of Botswana
and South Africa (which Keystone showed in the chronology via charts and data
that B11529 actually started in Zimbabwe).
The B11529 name was changed to BA1 by the WHO that also dubbed
the strain ‘omicron’ with their stupid politically-correct Greek naming system.
Thus, US wave 6 was the BA1 Omicron Variant the most contagious and
transmissible COVID-19 bug and outbreak thus far.
Looking at it from an immune escape perspective, the vaccine
efficacy was waning in the summer of 2021 about 5 to 6 months after the shots
began in December 2020. Thus, the only waves subject to the possibility of
immune evasion are 5 (Delta Variant), 6 (BA1 Omicron Variant) and 7 (BA2
Omicron Subvariant (7a) with the BA4/BA5 extension (7b)). Based on these three
waves with waning vaccine efficacy occurring, wave 6 is again the worst from a
transmissibility perspective followed by wave 5 then wave 7.
Naysayers to the above analysis, otherwise known as friends
of Tony and Ashish, will proclaim that many new COVID-19 cases are not counted
so the slope of wave 7 would be steeper. In other words, if ands and buts were
candy and nuts, every day would be Christmas. The chart uses the available data
and shows that the infection rate slope for wave 7 is not as steep as waves 3,
5 and 6. Wave 6 and the BA1 Omicron
Variant was the most contagious and transmissible COVID-19 strain thus far.
The good doctors are likely hyping the wave 7 outbreak and
the nasty BA5 bug for two reasons; first, to get people to put down the bag of
potato chips, rise up from their recliners and take their sorry arses to get
vaccinated, and second, to drum up fear so Congress will provide more funding for
handling the pandemic.
The US reports only 58K daily new cases for yesterday a calm
rather than Manic Monday. The trend for the US is positive and does not live up
to the doom and gloom in the media. The revisions to the daily case numbers are
diminishing in magnitude a good sign that the outbreak is peaking and rolling
over. The 7-day MA remains elevated at 101K cases per day bumping along in a
jagged sideways path.
The week on week comparisons (the Monday cases are lower
than the prior Monday, Friday’s cases are lower than the prior Friday, etc…)
are all lower a great sign that the trend in daily new cases is flattening and
likely wanting to start moving lower. These are reasons to be optimistic.
The BA2 Omicron Subvariant Little Sister Wave 7 with BA4/BA5
Extension chart is shown above to take a closer look at the current action.
Wave 7 is a double-hump; a camel-back. Wave 7 begins in April with the
northeastern United States hit with BA2. New York and New Jersey are slapped
silly. Ditto Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The infection wave then begins
moving across the US as the BA4 and BA5 infections increase and BA5 is now the
dominant strain in the nation.
Infections bump higher after the Memorial Day and
Independence Day holidays but not to an overwhelming extent (small black lines).
The Memorial Day events and parties no doubt opened the door to more BA4 and
BA5 infections.
Wave 7a is the BA2 portion of the infection wave and 7b is
the BA4/BA5 portion. Hopefully, the double-hump will fail from here forward and
the daily new cases will start a downtrend. The peak in US daily new cases for
wave 7 is 152K cases on Friday, 7/8/22 (a very important number). It is great
news that this peak day is 10 days past and Friday, 7/15/22, cases are at 113K well
below the 152K (this means that a flat move and then downtrend is likely on the
come).
The US active cases chart is shown above. US active cases
are at 3.6 million down from the 3.7 million peak on 7/14/22 (last Thursday). The
curve hints that it wants to flatten and roll over to verify that the virus is
being defeated but it is not over until the fat lady sings and the bell shape
forms. The active cases have tried to flatten a couple other times but then
bumped higher. Is the third time a charm? When will the wave 7 bell ring?
The shameful US daily deaths chart is shown above displaying
the 2-1/2 years of Trump and Biden incompetency. The sideways trend at about
300 American covid deaths per day continues for 3 months without relief.
President Biden promised to handle the pandemic but he is equally incompetent
as Trump.
If a chart is moving sideways multiple months, it clearly
verifies that the current plan is not working. Fauci, Walensky and Jha keep
telling people to get vaccinated but never tell an unvaccinated person how to get
help if they test positive. Isn’t that sickening? All for the sake of the
vaccine-only strategy so Big Pharma and Congress can enrich themselves.
America’s upper middle class and wealthy elite have all the
Paxlovid they want when they test positive for COVID-19. It is the common
people that are dying. Biden, the CDC and NIH are too lazy and incompetent to
go into the inner cities and poor rural areas armed with boxes of Pfizer’s
Paxlovid anti-viral oral pills and Eli Lilly’s bebtelovimab monoclonal antibody
treatments (infusions).
If people are unvaccinated, do not hope that they die to
prove a point about vaccines, help them. It is the Hippocratic Oath to help
them get immediate treatment if they test positive. Millions of Americans
remain clueless about their many treatment options for coronavirus.
EARLY TREATMENT has always been the key to treating
COVID-19. If you test positive, find the nearest facility offering Paxlovid or
bebtelovimab on the Therapeutics Locator and immediately discuss this with your
doctor/s and healthcare providers. You have to receive treatment immediately;
every minute counts. Drop everything you are doing and get treated immediately.
If your doctor gives you the runaround, ditch them and quickly find a physician
that can help you.
Interestingly, the US death chart shows the deaths in a flat
pattern for wave 4 and the current wave 7 hinting that the pandemic is
exhausting itself after a long 2-1/2 years. The red bars show the wicked death
rates for other waves with wave 1 the worst (most parabolic). At the start of
the pandemic in early 2020, elderly folks were dropping like flies as America
tried to figure out this new, novel coronavirus (a new strain that has not been
previously identified in humans).
Wave 3 was the second worst China Virus death wave. Waves 5
and 6 were also nasty. Some Americans died during wave 5 due to waning vaccine
efficacy. People thought they were protected by the two initial shots but
months later they got covid and croaked. Wave 6 was the BA1 Omicron Variant
wave the most contagious wave so more folks died since more were getting sick. Of
course, during all the waves, the unvaccinated make up a base portion of the
deaths.
After wave 4, COVID-19 was defeated in the United States. It
was done. The pandemic was over. But, as some of the doctors and scientists
opine, ‘the virus is not over until it is over everywhere in the world’. No
truer words were spoken as the nasty B1617 India Variant developed and then
circulated the globe. The B1617 variant
out of India was dubbed the Delta Variant wave 5 in the States.
After that, a new bug begins in Zimbabwe, travels south to
the Botswana/South Africa border where it is identified. The B11529
Botswana/South Africa Variant raises its ugly face and encircles the globe as
the BA1 Omicron Variant wave 6 in the US. Next comes the subvariants and
sublineages BA2, BA4 and BA5 showing their ugly heads creating wave 7 in
America. The beat goes on as Sonny and Cher sing.
Texas’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The southern
states are at high infection rates as people flock indoors to the air
conditioning to escape the heat. The border states are hit with a double-whammy
due to the ongoing migrant crisis. COVID-19 infections are rampant in Guatemala
and Mexico with the disease spreading north. The 7-day MA for daily new cases
for the Lonestar State is at 12.4K cases per day heading higher.
Florida’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Infections
are averaging between 10K and 12K cases per day for 2 months. Flat is better
than up. Florida is hit with the double-whammy of people congregating inside to
escape the heat and a large influx of vacationers. Florida is a summer
destination for lots of Americans that bring covid along for the ride. The
intimate interactions at the Tiki Bar create more infections.
New York’s daily new cases chart is shown above displaying
the double-hump pattern for the current wave like the US daily cases chart. The
northeastern states were hit first by the BA2 Omicron Subvariant wave. BA4 and
BA5 gain dominance as time goes by so the northeastern states did not feel the
wrath of BA4/BA5. Other states across the country are hit with the combo BA2/BA4/BA5
which is more of a single wave patten with BA5 the dominant strain currently.
The chronology mentioned in June there was a worry that the
BA4 and BA5 sublineages would back track to reinfect New York, New Jersey,
Vermont, New Hampshire and others. This is occurring for New York and New
Jersey but states north remain in fine shape.
The 7-day MA trend line for New York’s daily new cases is
7.7K cases per day moving higher. The expectation is that the BA4/BA5 bump will
roll over lower for New York going forward.
Louisiana’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The 7-day
MA retreats from over 3K cases per day down to 2.7K cases per day. Great news.
Also, the peak for the current wave is 5.4K cases on 7/7/22 now 11 days ago.
Other southern states such as Alabama and Mississippi are starting to follow
Louisiana’s lead. The COVID-19 news may be a lot brighter going forward.
The World Map of COVID-19 Hot Zones is shown above. South
America has troubles including Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela and
Colombia although the southern part of the continent is okay. Guatemala in
Central America is a disaster with cases at record levels. The infections are
rampant in Mexico impacting the US southern border states. Canada is having
trouble tamping down a new outbreak.
The COVID-19, specifically BA5, headaches continue in Europe
with the infection wave moving east towards Russia. Iran and India are
experiencing outbreaks but case numbers are low.
Asia is fully engulfed with COVID-19 infections rampant across
China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia,
Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.
The world’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The 7-day
MA drops from 925K cases per day on 7/12/22 down to 875K cases per day now a
great development but the trend must continue. There were several days over 1
million cases during the last 2 weeks; let’s hope for none of that this week.
The world’s daily new deaths chart is shown above. The
global death rate has been stumbling sideways through the 1.4K to 1.7K deaths
per day range for 2 months.
Note how the death rates leap higher for all the waves
through wave 6 (omicron) but the deaths drop or remain flat for the wave 7
bump, the wave 8 North Korea bump and the current global outbreak wave 9.
That’s a beautiful sight. 1.7K deaths per day is nothing to write home about
but seeing the death rate lower or flat for the last 3 waves is fantastic. The
pandemic may be in its last throes as a serious threat to human life.
Japan’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Japan reports
105K cases on Sunday a huge number with only one prior number larger during the
pandemic; the 2/6/22 peak at 106K cases. The 7-day MA has clearly gone parabolic
at 87.4K cases per day. It is an ugly chart perhaps the ugliest in the world.
12%, or 1 in 8 daily new global COVID-19 cases are occurring in Japan. Deaths
increase but not by any appreciable amount as yet.
Fauci and Jha should have referenced Japan’s chart to show
the serious contagiousness and transmissibility of the BA5 subvariant. Japan is
an infection rocket launch in only 2 weeks catapulting from 20K cases to over
100K cases. The nations that shielded their populations from COVID-19 did not
build up any natural antibody protections which may account for the vertical
rise in cases.
Germany’s daily new cases chart is shown above. It is a
nightmare. Germany is unable to tamp down the daily new cases reporting a big
161K cases yesterday. This is nearly 20% of the global cases. 1 in 5 new cases
in the world are in Germany. What’s going on there? Where’s Scholz? Sleeping?
Malaysia’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Malaysia is
in a new infection wave currently averaging 4K cases per day heading higher.
Singapore is further along with its wave and remains in trouble. Indonesia and
Philippines are coming up behind Malaysia with their new infection waves
starting. The COVID-19 bastard keeps circling the globe infecting humans
endlessly.
Guatemala’s daily new cases chart is shown above. It is
competing with Japan and Germany for the ugly title. Guatemala reported over
7.5K cases a few days ago the most ever. The 7-day MA trend line went parabolic
and is now trying to peak-out at 5.2K cases per day. The infections migrate
north into Mexico and then into the US southern border states.
Mexico’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Mexico is
averaging over 27K cases per day heading higher. The China Virus infections
migrating north from Guatemala, then Mexico are impacting the United States as
evidenced by the Texas chart.
Brazil’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Brazil
reports a big 108K cases on Friday, 7/15/22, the most for the current wave. The
7-day MA is bumping sideways at 57K cases per day but will be pulled higher if
the cases remain elevated. Bolivia, and other South American nations are
battling new infection waves. Venezuela is in bad shape.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 91.4 million. India is next with 43.8 million total virus cases.
Brazil, France, Germany, UK, Italy, South Korea, Russia, Turkey, Spain, Vietnam,
Japan, Argentina, Australia, Netherlands and Iran round out the top 17 worst
nations for total COVID-19 cases.
COVID-19 has infected 569 million people worldwide. China
(the CCP) owes reparations to the world for its sick crime against humanity. 6.39
million people on Earth are dead from the China Flu a grim statistic. 540 million
global citizens have recovered from the virus.
95% (540/569) of the people that become infected with COVID-19
recover in a reasonable time frame. This number was 96% for many weeks so the
recovery percentage slips a hair as BA5 bites harder.
Worldwide, 1.1% (6.39/569) of the people that are infected
with covid die; 1 in 89 (hit the 1/x button on your calculator). This number
was 1.2% for over a year so slippage to 1.1% is great news (less people are
dying after they become infected compared to prior waves).
7.4% (569/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion people
have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 14 people on earth. 0.08% of
the world’s population (6.39/7670) died from the pandemic; 1 in every 1,200
people on earth died from China Virus over the last couple years.
In the United States, 91.4 million people are infected with covid.
1.049 million Americans are dead. 86.8 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus.
This equates to 95% (86.8/91.4) of US citizens recovering after becoming
infected with COVID-19.
In the US, 1.1% (1.049/91.4) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. 1 in every 87 US citizens that are infected with coronavirus die. Thus, if
you are infected with China Virus in the United States, you have about a 1 in
90 chance of dying. 0.3% (1/330) of Americans have died from COVID-19 which is
1 in every 330 Americans over the last 2-1/2 years.
28% (91.4/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid; 1 in every 4 Americans (3.6 to be exact).
The CDC said a few months ago that one-half the US population, 50%, have been
infected by COVID-19 and have some level of antibody protection; it is likely
60% or even 80% or more now as the omicron bugs work through the system.
The US is doing a good job at holding wave 7 at bay. The
trend in daily cases is flat which is better than up so herd immunity must be
playing a role (vaccination and natural antibody protections).
The United States has 16% (91.4/569) of the COVID-19 cases
in the world. 1 in 6 people that become infected with covid on the planet are
Americans. The US vaccination program made an impact month’s ago, but not so
much in recent months.
The US accounts for 16% (1.049/6.39) of the China Flu deaths
in the world. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are Americans.
Over a year ago, it was 1 in 5 so vaccinations helped.
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart will flatten-out and roll-over lower. The active cases chart is the
‘flatten the curve’ chart that represents the maximum stress and strain on the
medical system and healthcare workers. Once the active cases chart rolls over
forming the bell shape, the virus is being defeated and healthcare workers can
breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the daily new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For communist nations where
the populations must do what they are told or they receive a bullet in their
heads (China), and for smaller authoritarian nations (Eastern European
countries, Africa and Middle East nations), and many Asian nations where
citizens follow government rules without questioning authority (South Korea,
Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand), the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 11 days after the peak in daily new cases.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases. It takes about 2 weeks longer for
a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or authoritarian
state because lockdowns are not strictly followed or enforced. As time moves
along, nations become better equipped and experienced to fend off outbreaks so the
time between the daily new cases peak and active cases peak is shortening.
For example, the last 2 waves in the UK show only an 11-day
difference between the peak in daily and active cases. After 2-1/2 years,
Western nations are experienced at handling the virus so the distance between
the daily and active cases peaks are decreasing towards the 11-day distance
where the authoritarian and communist style nations are at that enforce the
strict draconian rules to tamp down infections. Once the majority of the
population is either vaccinated or had the virus, the path forward becomes
easier.
All projections below for countries and the US states
continue to use the 11 and 28-day periods for forecasting for consistency. When
the peak in daily new cases occurs, if a subsequent day is within 8% of that
peak top, it is identified as the peak in daily new cases day in reference to
the Keystone Model.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily seen on the bar
charts provided by Worldometer, the CDC and Johns-Hopkins. The daily new cases
bar charts are shown on television news channels with a 7-day moving average
(MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that identifies the trend.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes and more data and information become available to push the
China Virus story forward. The Coronavirus Chronology identifies the real-time

to come by those that want to experience the entire pandemic as it unfolds in

superior for forecasting since it is updated more reliably in real-time.
The countries with rising active cases charts are
highlighted below with the worst nations at the bottom. The peaks in daily new
cases are shown and the projected peaks for active cases are based on the
Keystone Model. The peak and flattening of the active cases curves are
extremely important since it represents the maximum stress on healthcare
workers and the medical systems.
It will take longer for the active cases charts to roll over
to form the bell shape for the troubled nations at the bottom of the list since
they are still experiencing highs and peaks in their daily new cases. The
United States wave 7 is unfortunately pushed forward again with the active
cases not expected to flatten and roll over until early August (or sooner).

Six countries are a pleasant surprise removed from the bad
list including Chile, Switzerland, Bangladesh, Israel, Ireland and the UK. Their
active cases charts have rolled over and are beginning to form the coveted bell
shape.
Unfortunately, 5 nations were added to the naughty list as
their situations worsen including South Korea, Turkey, Iran, Serbia and Kazakhstan.
China, Venezuela, Bolivia and Canada charts are also taking on troubling
profiles.
Poland will probably be added to the bad country list in the
coming days as a new wave forms. Ditto Hungary, Slovakia, Czechia, Georgia,
Croatia and Lithuania. The infection wave is moving west to east across Europe
into western Asia and Russia.
India is doing a good job at keeping daily new cases at bay.
American medical folks should find out what India is doing. Are they telling
their population to take more HCQ and ivermectin? Maybe the new FabiSpray nasal
spray? It is important to know what India is doing right now to mitigate the
spread of BA2/BA4/BA5 because whatever it is, it is working.
The Netherlands outbreak is also mild. What are they doing?
Why are their circumstances different than other nations? More importantly, why
is Germany, France and Italy getting beaten harder, like rented mules, by the
BA5 bug? Genetics?
Africa is in fairly decent shape although some countries
have small outbreaks ongoing. Nigeria must be watched and a few other nations
on Africa’s west coast.
In total, the world hints that it wants to improve going
forward. Ditto the United States. The large numbers of cases are in only a few nations
such as Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Brazil, US and a few others. Since these
countries account for such a huge portion of the new cases, the pandemic
picture could improve very quickly if a few of the waves begin rolling over to
the downside.
China remains a mess with several days of 500 cases per day
now expanding to 700 cases per day. The CCP, however, always lies and the
communists are only reporting cases that occur outside the isolation facilities
further clouding the covid waters. Thus, that 700 cases can easily be 10,000
cases per day or more.
Chinese folks are rioting in front of the PBOC (China’s
central bank; Peoples Bank of China) that has frozen bank accounts since April.
Chinese folks cannot get their money out and the CCP rules with an iron fist
beating the protestors and hauling them away to prison. The human interactions
spread virus. The Chinese people are not going to pay their mortgages in
protest which will collapse the banking system.
The banking crisis, and a miserable heat wave, are occurring
in China as cities continue mass testing for COVID-19, lockdowns and hauling
away any person that tests positive to isolation camps. Dirtbag Dictator Xi’s
zero-covid strategy is a bust. China’s problems are negatively impacting the
global economy and exacerbating the worldwide inflation problem.
The US list below identifies the worst states especially at
the bottom of the list. The peak in daily new cases and projections for the
peaks in active cases are provided as per the Keystone Model.
The flattening and roll over of the active cases curve
forming the bell shape (see US active cases chart above) indicates the virus is
being defeated and the caseload on healthcare workers will quickly improve.
Healthcare workers are not under duress with wave 7 like prior waves but the
caseloads are lingering; not getting worse but not getting better.
The dates for the states to peak with active cases dribble
into August a disappointing sight. However, wave 7 is unlike the prior 6 waves
in its flat profile so it would not be surprising after this lingering 2 to 3
month period for the active cases to roll over within days of the daily new
cases rolling over.
July may be the last big month for the COVID-19 pandemic
phase both for the US and the world.

New York, New Jersey
and Ohio weathered the initial BA2 storm but BA4 and BA5 are back tracking to
smack them in the face creating the 7a and 7b double-hump patterns on their
daily new cases charts.
Pennsylvania worked
through the initial BA2 wave and its cases are staggering sideways currently
the BA4 and BA5 bugs not yet able to take a second bite of the Keystone apple.
States on each side, Ohio, and New York and New Jersey, are getting hit with
the second hump of BA4/BA5 but not the Keystone State, at least not yet. Why?
The old folks in
western Pennsylvania are shot-up with vaccines like pincushions. Most older
folks have listened to Lord Fauci, Queen Walensky and King Jha, and have
received their booster shots. Perhaps that is why the BA4/BA5 bugs are having
trouble making it back into Pennsylvania. The majority of folks are vaccinated
and the others likely had COVID-19 once or more already. Herd immunity may be
at play for Pennsylvania.
The bad US state list
is status quo over the last 3 weeks. The dominance of BA5 serves to extend wave
7 in the US but only in a sideways posture with daily new cases. It does not appear
that wave 7 will take off wildly higher quite the contrary, there will likely
be a half-dozen states taken off the bad list over the coming days which paints
a brighter picture for the weeks ahead and a snuffing-out of wave 7. There may
be good news on the come during the days and week ahead.
Dr Fauci is
interviewed yesterday and a reporter asks him about retirement. Fauci says he
will likely retire before the end of President Biden’s term so that is January
2025. The news, which is really not news (he said same a couple months ago),
receives lots of play on the cable news outlets.
The democrat-run
media including CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, NPR, New York Times and
Washington Post opine about Fauci’s retirement and the huge loss and vacuum
that will be created when his great mind no longer speaks on camera every day.
The republican-run
media such as Fox News, Newsmax, OANN, AM talk radio, Breitbart News and the
New York Post take the opposite side telling Fauci to not let the door hit him
on the way out. The republicans vow to drag Dr’s Fauci and Collins back before
Congress to come clean about the gain of function research they were funding at
the Wuhan Laboratories through the third party EcoHealth Alliance.
Fauci knows that
there will be investigations into him and Collins on the come. If the
republicans gain control of the House and Senate in this November’s mid-term
elections, only 112 days away, they will immediately begin investigations and
likely move to oust Fauci from his director position at NIAID.
Thus, if the
republicans win, Fauci will likely announce his retirement directly thereafter
this November only 4 months from now. Tony was likely also putting up a little
notice that in case this scenario occurs in the future he will tell everyone
that he was talking about retirement already for months and months.
If, however, the
democrats do better than expected in the mid-term’s, and Fauci does not think
his job is in jeopardy from the republicans, he will stick around longer and
likely announce retirement prior to the November 2024 presidential election.
No matter when El Faucho
retires, it would be prudent to hire some good lawyers now. Collins spends his
retirement sitting at the kitchen table calling attorneys in the yellow pages.
He takes occasional breaks, walking outside to the burn barrel, stoking the
fire and placing a few more gain of function research reports into the flames.
Los Angeles is still
deciding on whether to implement a mask mandate for indoors due to the high
infection rate. Don’t do it. People will be in mutiny. If you want to wear a
mask, knock yourself out, where 5 masks, but do not mandate such silliness on
humans that already have enough to worry about due to Biden’s climate change
agenda fiasco creating multi-decade inflation.
San Diego schools
make a big mistake and reinstate their mask mandates. Haven’t you tortured
those little kids enough already, jackasses? COVID-19 is not an issue for
youngsters. The limited deaths in children under 18 years old are kids with
other medical issues and/or suffered from childhood obesity.
Washington, DC,
schools are requiring vaccines for all students 12 years old and older.
Sickening vaccine mandates. Don’t these people learn anything? America is a
nation of sick control freaks.
Bennie Thompson,
democrat representative from Massachusetts heading the January 6 Capitol Riot
Committee and investigation into Trump’s improprieties, tests positive for
COVID-19. Thompson is vaccinated and boosted and says he has mild symptoms. He
encourages others to get vaccinated proclaiming that the shots are helping him.
Well, the shots did not help him from not getting the virus.
Thompson has been
closely interacting with colleagues and reporters in recent days so these folks
are huddled in the bathroom at home watching to see if a line appears on their COVID-19
tests. Humorously, one nervous male aid that shook Thompson’s hand yesterday, realizes
that he just took a pregnancy test by mistake.
It would be
surprising that other people around Thompson do not contract coronavirus
especially since it is supposed to be the most contagious strain (which it is
not as explained at the start of this article but it is a formidable covid foe).
Illinois Governor
Pritzker tests positive for COVID-19. Washington, DC, is a covid-infected nest
for the last 2-1/2 years. Pritzker was vacationing in Florida. He must have met
Carmaleta at the Tiki Bar. Pritzker is immediately offered Paxlovid pills and
starts the treatment within hours of testing positive.
Do you think poor
Americans that test positive for covid are receiving Paxlovid that fast or do
they end up as the death statistics in the never-ending 300 American deaths
from the virus each day? Probably the latter. Sleepy Joe Biden has failed at
handling the pandemic just like King Donnie Trump. Two bozo clowns.
The CDC no longer
plans to release COVID-19 case numbers for cruise ships. The CDC declares;
“Cruise ships have access to guidance and tools to manage their own COVID-19
mitigation programs.” The CDC is learning to let go of some of its overzealous
control during the pandemic. It is better to trust the smart American people that
can think for themselves rather than treat them as dumb idiots that need guided
through all facets of life.
In summary, the
United States is in better shape than the doomsters predict and not on the Eveof Destruction, as Barry sings. The picture should brighten going forward and
BA5 should not spiral out of control. The week on week trends are lower for US daily
cases so if that continues this week, wave 7 will be on its way out. Texas,
California and Florida are 3 key states that dictate the US path forward.
Note Added 5:50 PM EST: WHO Regional Director in Europe Hans Kluge is professing doom along with gloom. Europe's COVID-19 cases are rising rapidly. Did he just notice the outbreaks? Kluge declares, "It (the virus) has never gone away. It's still there. It's spreading! It's mutating! And unfortunately, it's still taking a lot of lives!" Kluge proclaims that people that have not taken a vaccination this year are no longer protected and need a shot right away. Only deaf ears are listening. Russia's dirtbag Dictator Putin visits Iran on bended knee hoping to secure more drones that can be weaponized and used in the Ukraine War. Putin appears pale and acts like he wants to simply get through the photo-ops without showing health weakness. Putin has isolated himself over the last 2 years worried about COVID-19 and his likely diminished immune system due to ongoing health issues (that remain a mystery). It is interesting that he is shaking hands and directly interacting with people around him; he is kissing the Iranian ring so he can receive more weapons of destruction. Iran is in a new covid infection wave so Putin's timing is not good if he wants to avoid the virus.
Note Added 6:05 PM EST: In the United States, the CDC approves the 2-shot Novavax vaccine for adults with a unanimous 12-0 vote. Director Walensky will now pull the rubber stamp out of her mahogany desk and get the ball rolling for shots to begin. The vaccine is protein-based instead of a mRNA offering so some unvaccinated people sitting on the fence may be more prone to give the Novavax a try. Others will likely wait to see if any side effects show up in people. NVAX stock catapults +13% higher on Wall Street. Big Pharma, the politicians and the medical bigwigs high-five each other celebrating their new riches. It's just another day during the final throes of America's faux free market crony capitalism system.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 7/20/22, at 3:00 AM EST: The CDC says the BA5 subvariant accounts for 78% of the new infections in the US up from 69% last week. 4 out of 5 new cases are BA5. The US reports 75K daily new cases for yesterday a beautiful sight. The 7-day MA is down to 96K cases per day. The United States is set up for good news going forward. Texas's daily new cases are trying to flatten-out in the 11K to 13K cases per day range a good thing. It is important for the cases in Texas, California and Florida to diminish to verify a happy road ahead. New York State continues its wave 7b bump at 7.3K cases per day down a hair from the prior day.

The shots should be available in the coming days and weeks as the Biden administration has already committed to 3.2 million doses. Novavax is the fourth COVID-19 vaccine. CDC Director Walensky proclaims, "If you have been waiting for a COVID-19 vaccine built on a different technology than those previously available (mRNA vaccines), now is the time to join the millions of Americans who have been vaccinated." Note Added Wednesday Morning, 7/20/22, at 6:00 AM EST: In the NBA (basketball), Golden State Warriors player Andrew Wiggins, that helped the team win a championship, regrets getting vaccinated. Humorously, he will not be invited to the Whitehouse anytime soon. Wiggins and a few other players, such as Kyrie Irving, did not want to take the mRNA vaccine at the start of the season a few months ago that the NBA was mandating. Without the vaccination, Wiggins would not have been permitted to play the home games and would not have had a banner year or the money or the fame. Irving stuck to his guns and missed the home games during the season. Wiggins declares, "I don't like putting all that stuff in my body. I didn't like that it wasn't my choice." But it was your choice Wiggins, and you got down on your knees licking the NBA's shoes and took the shots for money and notoriety. That is who you are now. San Diego school system president Dr Sharon Whitehurst-Payne throws gasoline on the fire stating that kids that do not want to wear masks should "just not return." She decrees that anyone that disagrees with her policy "can opt not to return to the regular school but to go to the school where they don't have to go to school at all, other than via Zoom." This is an educator talking nonsense. This Whitehurst-Payne lady is telling parents that their kids are not welcome at school if they do not wear a mask all day long. It is sickening. She has it *ss backwards as hundreds of people across social internet highlight. Payne should not create more pain for kids but instead make masks optional and if a parent is frozen and frightened with fear each day at this stage of the COVID-19 pandemic, they should be the ones that keep their kids home and use Zoom. Let everyone else get on with life. Their kids can wear masks at home and everyone will be happy. The lady shows a complete ignorance on the studies and science of masks which are of little or no value in preventing virus transmission but cause social, mental, learning and emotional issues. The mask and vaccine mandate garbage is all about control. It is a shame to see the stuff continuing. Even educators are stupid people nowadays. Seeing the social media wrath going against San Diego, perhaps other school systems across the US will think twice before they implement a garbage mask mandate for kids. Move on, folks. COVID-19 is no real threat to children. The folks in the peanut gallery yell out that kids may develop long-covid. The beat goes on.
Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 7/20/22: Health officials worldwide are sounding warning bells concerning a new BA275 (BA.2.75) COVID-19 variant that is dubbed, "Centaurus." The chronology simplifies the names for ease of readability so BA275 will be used for the name of the new Centaurus bug. Humorously, a guy on Twitter, Xabier Ostale, named BA275 after a galaxy and the father of centaurs (Greek mythology), and the name is sticking on social internet. The new strain is first detected in India and cases appear in the UK, South Korea, Netherlands, Australia, Japan, Canada, Germany and 2 other countries. It is too early to know how BA275 will stack-up against the BA5 variant. Look at how those country names match the trouble spots Keystone has been discussing over the last few days so a culprit is identified; BA275. Japan is in horrible shape along with Germany, Canada, Australia and South Korea all dealing with new infection waves. India and Netherlands are as well but their waves remain benign compared to prior waves. Japan and Germany should focus on testing for the new BA275 bug (since their ongoing outbreaks are serious and hard to stop) to see what is going on.

About 300 Americans continue dying from China Virus each day while President Biden plays with windmills and solar cells. The US reports 114K daily new cases an elevated number. The 7-day MA is at 109K cases per day. The walk across the covid eggshells continues. Today and tomorrow's cases are key. The peak in daily cases for US wave 7 remains at 152K cases on Friday, 7/8/22, two weeks ago. Revisions for last week push the Thursday, 7/14/22, cases up to 149K and last Friday, 7/15/22, is 139K daily new cases. This is positive stuff hinting at a weakening infection wave but the cases today and tomorrow need to remain below last week's 149K peak. Friday's cases need to be below 139K. Looking at the individual state charts, it is hard to understand why the daily cases bumped-up a touch yesterday to the 114K number. Bingo. It is the South. Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/21/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The world reports 1.032 million daily new COVID-19 cases yesterday. It is disappointing to see the cases over 1 million. Global deaths remain elevated compared to the last 3 months at 1.8K souls per day. In Europe, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia and other eastern Europe and western Asia nations are reporting higher cases with new infections waves clearly underway causing the world's cases to move back above 1 million. Germany and Japan remain a mess. Australia reports 50.5K daily new cases yesterday the highest number in 2 months. Boom. South Korea reports a spike in daily new cases to 76K cases the most in 3 months crossing the 19 million total cases milestone. South Korea is in trouble with its new wave on track to potentially go parabolic. The nations that guarded their populations during the pandemic, resulting in less natural immunity, are breeding the BA5 and new BA275 Centaurus pathogens. Note how the important people receive Paxlvid immediately. What about the 300 and more Americans dying each day from COVID-19 for over 3 months? He was shaking hands and close enough to kiss Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Friday, 7/15/22. But you know the incubation drill. The bug takes 4 to 10 days to appear and 8 days is the sweet spot as Keystone has demonstrated many times. It is simple math. Count backwards 8 days and voila, it is Wednesday, 7/13/22. It is obvious what happened. Israel is dealing with a nasty BA5 infection wave so the president's timing for the trip was bad. Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/21/22, at 10:40 AM EST: Another news flash. First Lady Jill tests negative for COVID-19 so that is good news. Dr Jonathan Reiner appears on CNN (democrat-run media) and says the United States is likely at 600K to 800K infections per day. Wow! That is 6 to 8 times the reported number of about 100K cases per day. Reiner cites the home tests that are not reported. The doctor provides solid commentary about the pandemic during the last couple years so he has to be taken at his word but his estimate is likely high. Several medical folks are commenting on the Paxlovid treatment interacting with other drugs that Biden is taking. The president is discontinuing use of blood thinner Eliquis and a cholesterol drug Crestor while he is on the 5-day Paxlovid treatment protocol. Whitehouse Dr Kevin O'Connor is on top of things. Medical people are also concerned about Paxlovid rebound. This is impacting about 5% of the Paxlovid users (some say 2% others say as much as 20%) according to Dr Jha where COVID-19 returns about 3 to 5 days after the 5-day Paxlovid regiment is completed. Dr Fauci is a Paxlovid rebound case. Biden will simply have to go through the regimen, and take the covid tests, and cross that rebound bridge if he comes to it. The Whitehouse says Biden is isolating at the Whitehouse residence and will continue working. Just like when former President Trump contracted COVID-19, the politicians want to create a narrative that they are doing fine and show that they are working despite being sick. CNN reports that Dr Jha says the president says he is "doing fine." Jha says the president has a runny nose and fatigue but no fever so far.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/21/22, at 11:00 AM EST: Biden's COVID-19 vaccine shots were administered on December 2020 (1st jab), January 2021 (2nd), September 2021 (3rd; the Pfizer/BioNTech booster) and March 2022 (4th; 3/30/22; the booster-booster). The late March booster-booster is 3-1/2 months ago good news for President Biden. The vaccines wane at about 5 to 6 months so Joe should be protected adequately and severe illness would not be expected. The Whitehouse announces that Dr Jha will speak at the pressroom at 2 PM EST providing an update on the president.

A masked videographer stands 6 feet (2 m) away to shoot the video but people on social internet are complaining that the president should be masked since he is infected. Biden says, "Hey folks, I guess you heard, this morning I tested positive for covid. But I've been double-vaccinated, double-boosted. Symptoms are mild. And I really appreciate your inquiries (mumbling) and concerns. But I'm doing well, getting a lot of work done. Going to continue to get it done. And in the meantime, thanks for your concern. And keep the faith. It's going to be okay."
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/21/22, at 2:25 PM EST: Whitehouse spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre, who is cute as a button but not that good at her job, provides an update on President Biden repeating all the known information. She says that Biden will isolate as per the CDC regulations. Dr Jha is introduced and begins speaking at 2:27 PM EST. Jha says the president is "feeling fine." He says Dr O'Connor examined the president thoroughly and recommended Paxlovid treatment that was started immediately. The Whitehouse is taking advantage of Biden's illness to promote vaccines touting four shots for the folks over 50 years old and three shots for the folks under 50. Jha decrees, "If over 50 and you have not had a shot in 2022, go get one!" Jha says they have been working hard to have adequate supplies of vaccine and treatments. This statement is wrong because a flatlining of the American covid deaths at 300 to 400 bodies per day for over 3 months running tells you the current plan is not working. Nursing home deaths are at 3 times the pace as this time last year. Are these folks receiving Paxlovid immediately? Obviously not if they are lying in caskets. The Whitehouse may say there are adequate supplies of Paxlovid but the logistics and distribution leg of the process is broken if the treatments are not reducing the loss of life. There also remains limits on who can receive Paxlovid which plays into the game of the Whitehouse saying 'there are adequate supplies (based on their guidelines of limited distribution)'. Jha says the president is "working comfortably in his residence." Jha begins taking questions at 2:31 PM EST. He is asked if the strains are known that infected Biden. Jha says it takes about one week for the sequencing test to come back but since it is the president, they may know in a few days. Jha says the president has stopped taking blood thinner Eliquis and cholesterol drug Crestor while on Pfizer's Paxlovid. America's drug and surgery medical model is on full display daily. "Gimme drugs, gimme drugs," as Vinnie Barbarino would say in Welcome Back, Kotter. Exchange one drug for another. A reporter asks, "Where exactly was the president infected?" Jean-Pierre and Jha say they do not know how the president got infected (it was in Israel on 7/13/22 and 7/14/22 as explained above). Jean-Pierre decrees, "I don't think that matters." Hey idiot, it does matter where and when the president was infected if you plan to perform contact tracing as per the CDC. Jha says Paxlovid rebound may occur but the key is that even with rebound, people do not end up in the hospital. Jean-Pierre blurts out "restless sleep" as another symptom the president is experiencing. Humorously, while Biden is isolating in the Whitehouse residence for the next 5 days, smiling Vice President Harris sneaks into the Oval Office measuring the drapes and rug. Biden, while infected, met directly with lots of folks in Massachusetts yesterday, shaking hands and back-slapping, so those people are at home in the bathroom trying to see what lines are forming on their covid tests.
Note Added Thursday Evening, 7/21/22: Paxlovid works quickly. A typical recipient of Paxlovid notices a dramatic improvement in the way they feel within 24 hours surely within 48 hours. Thus, America will be anxious to see how President Biden is doing after a night's sleep. Sleepy Joe's China Virus symptoms are a runny nose, fatigue, dry cough and restless sleep. It will be good news if the president is feeling better in the morning; not so good if he is not. Scientists analyzing wastewater samples in Dane County, Wisconsin, believe they have identified a COVID-19 variant that has not been seen before. Testing continues. California resident Mitcho Thompson says he had COVID-19 and monkeypox at the same time. He says he endured weeks of misery but has recovered. A polio case is reported in the United States.

Europe remains in trouble with the COVID-19 infection wave moving east across the continent. Russia reports 6.4K daily new cases the highest in nearly 3 months and the start of a new infection wave with active cases now curling higher. The case numbers are small but the days and weeks ahead may tell a different story. Dirtbag Dictator Putin has a new problem. South Korea cases spike over 70K for 2 days running at levels not seen since April. Oh my. Japan reports an obscene 135K daily new cases the most for the pandemic. Wow. Japanese deaths inch higher with 54 souls biting the dust yesterday. Australia reports over 55K cases another high for the current wave while New Zealand may be finally topping-out with its daily cases. Note Added Friday Morning, 7/22/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The US reports 101K daily new cases less than the 130K cases on Wednesday and below the 7-day MA trend line at 112K cases per day. The numbers remain encouraging, however, the revisions now place both Friday's, 7/8/22 and 7/15/22, at 152K cases (it would be better if the 7/15/22 number remains lower than the prior week). Today's number is important since Friday's are typically the biggest number of the week. Watch to see if today's new cases are below the 130K cases for Wednesday, 7/20/22, and below the peak days for wave 7 thus far at 152K. Georgia is on my mind, as Ray sings, due to the big rise in COVID-19 cases, and the Peach State reports over 5.9K daily new cases yesterday another high for the current wave. The CDC says the BA4 and BA5 infections are spreading rapidly in Georgia. Atlanta is an airline hub so that may be adding to infections. Lots of Americans travel through Georgia on the way to vacationing in Florida so rest stops and gas stations where people closely interact are breeding grounds for coronavirus. The southern states remain challenged with elevated daily cases and are accounting for most of the new infections in the US.
Note Added Friday Morning, 7/22/22, at 6:00 AM EST: America anxiously waits for President Biden to provide a morning statement on his health and battle against COVID-19. Vice President Harris is named a 'close contact' of the president so she will need to take covid tests and use a mask as per CDC protocol (so it will be interesting to see if she does). Also, the First Lady will have to test daily to see if she has the virus. Some doctors opine that, considering Biden's good physical health for a near 80-year old, it may be better to not prescribe Paxlovid and instead keep him on the blood thinner Eliquis. Others suggest a reduced dosage of Eliquis, or the Paxlovid, may be another direction. Doctors are like economists. If you ask 10 of them for opinions, you get 14 different answers. Armchair quarterbacking will be standard fare as Biden works through his illness. It will be great to hear or see him first thing this morning knowing that the Paxlovid is working. The next couple hours will tell a lot about Biden's health journey forward.
Note Added Friday Morning, 7/22/22, at 10:50 AM EST: It is disappointing that there is little information on the president's condition this morning. Dr Jha appears on a couple news outlets saying that the president continues resting. He says Biden had a temperature of 99.4 Fahrenheit (37.4 C) last evening and he took Tylenol (acetaminophen) to bring the temperature back down.. A 'normal' human temperature is considered to be 98.6 F (37.0 C) but this is misleading and can vary greatly person to person. For example, Keystone's normal constant body temperature is 97.4 F (36.3 C) over a degree lower than what is supposed to be normal and he is not a stiff yet. President Biden's temperature is about one degree high which is no biggie. Jha says Biden's symptoms are a runny nose, fatigue and a loose cough. The Whitehouse says President Biden's status will be updated at 3 PM EST. Biden is not in front of a camera because he likely does not feel well which is no surprise--he has covid. His handlers are likely hoping that the second dose of the 5-day regimen of Paxlovid, that was probably given to him 3 or 4 hours ago, will kick-in so a video can be offered to Americans this afternoon.
Note Added Friday Afternoon, 7/22/22, at 3:00 PM EST: President Biden is on video meeting virtually with his economic team to discuss gasoline prices and other problems. The video is grainy. How can that be in this technological age? It is like looking through yellow gauze. The cameras have attachments that can soften the look but they overdid it since the video looks dirty and yellowish. Women that are concerned about their physical appearance on television will use a camera filter. It is easy to see since the image (their faces) will look a touch fuzzy. Biden sits behind a desk, sets his black face mask off to the side, and has a big cup of coffee in front of him (the docs probably knocked him out last night to give him lots of rest and he probably has only been up for a couple hours). "Well, thanks (cough), let me start (cough) by apologizing about my voice, I'm feeling much better than I sound." That is not a good start to his appearance today. Biden then brags about gasoline prices falling (but they are still way high) continuing on with the meeting. As he speaks, he coughs occasionally and wipes drool from the sides of his lips which he does every time he speaks in recent months. He's old; this stuff (saliva production) happens as you age. Generally, the president appears okay but the grainy poor quality videography does not help him look his best. Perhaps the camera is set up stationary and unmanned so the Whitehouse does not have to field complaints about him masking, but the camera's settings and/or lighting need adjusted.
Note Added Friday Afternoon, 7/22/22, at 3:50 PM EST: Whitehouse pressroom spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre, with three first names, an employee operating one rung above where she should be as per the Peter Principle, provides an update on Biden's illness. The president's temperature has come back down. Oxygen is normal. He is tolerating treatment well. He is using an Albuterol Inhaler now and then. He is using low doses of aspirin because his blood thinner was stopped while on Paxlovid. KJP says Biden is working 8 hours per day and wants everyone to get vaccinated. The Whitehouse keeps stressing that Biden is 'working hard'. No one believes that he is working 8 hours a day; he did not do that before he got sick. Jean-Pierre provides this spin to preemptively shoot-down any future calls to remove the president from office under the 25th Amendment due to his decreasing mental capacity. The two corrupt political parties plot their strategies and nurse their narratives daily. She says vaccines are available at 90K locations nationwide. She says Paxlovid is available at 42K locations. Then why are 300 to 400 Americans dying per day for over 3 months with no end in sight? The Paxlovid must be sitting on the shelves collecting dust at those 42K locations. Dr Jha joins Jean-Pierre and says they spent FaceTime with the president today (videoconferencing). Jha says the president ate his breakfast and lunch and joked that his appetite has not changed (makes for a good soundbite). Jha decrees, "He (Biden) is doing better because he is double-vaccinated." Jha says vaccinations are the highest in weeks so folks are heeding the Whitehouse messaging (patting his own back). "We have made it (vaccines and treatments) widely available and free." He says 3 months ago, there were less than 4K prescriptions per day for Paxlovid. As of last week, "about 40K courses of Paxlovid were prescribed every single day across America." He says with about 120K infections per day, and the numbers may be higher, that is a lot of people receiving Paxlovid every day. Then why do they keep dying at the same rate? If Paxlovid is available in 42K locations that means, on average, one course of Paxlovid is given-out at each location per day. Something is wrong in the numbers. The Whitehouse needs to provide information on who is dying over the last 3 months (age, race, male, female, comorbidities, etc..). It could be that the death rate remaining elevated is a good thing because it could actually be worse, but that is a stretch. Thinking more about Jha's statement, perhaps the Paxlovid scripts were at 4K per day all the way up until last week when they jumped to 40K per day. That would make sense and explain why the COVID-19 bodies keep stacking up at the morgue. Sally wants to go on vacation but she has to keep wheeling the stiffs into the cutting rooms for autopsies. This hypothesis, about the Paxlovid use suddenly jumping higher, can be proven over the next few weeks if a noticeable drop in the US death rate occurs. The pressroom discussion becomes teste. The reporters are complaining that they do not have access to Biden's direct physician, Dr O'Connor. Jean-Pierre pushes back saying daily updates and reports will be provided. Journalists are not buying it, pressing KJP harder, and she becomes snippy at reporters. The journalists want to question O'Connor directly and not hear comments through Dr Jha. For example, was the president also given bebtelovimab monoclonal antibody treatment? It would be funny, and not at all surprising in today's shallow society, that the vaccine-only president ends up getting his life saved by the monoclonal antibody treatments he always dissed and ignored. In fairness to Dr O'Connor not yet being grilled by reporters, he may be shy. Not everyone seeks the limelight, or is good at public speaking, although it does seem that most folks lust for their 15 minutes of Andy Warhol fame these days. When you listen and watch speakers and performers on stage including politicians, musicians and comedians, it looks easy, but it's not. It takes many years of practicing and honing your craft which creates solid confidence when walking onto the stage, which makes it look easy. When you are standing up there looking out at the people, you realize that you had better know what you are doing, be it discussing a subject, or singing songs, or telling jokes, otherwise, you are in trouble. At the same time, to have such a high profile job as chief doctor for the POTUS, you should expect that you will have to do some public speaking along the way and have to answer questions about the president's health. America awaits the appearance of Dr O'Connor.
Note Added Friday Evening, 7/22/22, at 7:00 PM EST: The Whitehouse says there are 17 close contacts to President Biden that are being monitored for COVID-19. The medical pundits and covid talking heads are out in full force on television and radio since there is broad interest in President Biden's health and COVID-19 illness. Lord Fauci sees the lights and cameras so he jumps into action providing comments on Biden's condition. Everyone is regurgitating the information already known. Dr Fauci provides insight into his Paxlovid rebound a month ago which is what Biden may face in the days ahead. . Former FDA head Dr Gottlieb says an infection from BA1 will likely provide some protection against BA5. Dr Hotez, however, says the opposite that a BA1 infection will likely not provide protection for the BA5 subvariant. Another television doctor says a BA2 Omicron Subvariant infection will likely not help against BA5. Is your head spinning yet? As the chronology has highlighted for a couple years, the major problem of the chaotic and confusing pandemic mess is that there is never one point person in charge. Everyone is in charge, but no one is in charge. Americans do not listen anymore especially since healthcare folks cannot agree on what is happening. CDC Director Walensky decrees, "We are tired of the virus but the virus is not tired of us." She tells Americans to keep up on their vaccinations and says there will be new boosters available in the Fall that address the subvariants. The FDA has not yet approved the fourth shot (the booster-booster) for folks under 50 years old but rumors are surfacing that this may not be recommended. Whitehouse reporters will not be happy until Dr O'Connor makes an appearance and answers some questions. Biden, Jean-Pierre, Jha, O'Connor and the staff have access to the empty pressroom so put the doc at the podium and let him practice fielding questions if he is not well-versed on public speaking. He is going to have to learn fast.
Note Added Friday Evening, 7/22/22, at 9:00 PM EST: Disturbingly, Dr Birx, that was Fauci's right-hand woman during the Trump administration, proclaims, "I knew the vaccines would not protect against infections" and "we overplayed the vaccines." Birx says, "50% of the people that died from the omicron surge (US wave 6) were older vaccinated people." Isn't that something? The Birx information blows you away. The US government wants to be the arbiter of disinformation and misinformation and they are the biggest purveyors of same. It is shameful that vaccine mandates have destroyed American lives when the medical people knew up front that vaccines would not prevent virus infection or transmission even though they said otherwise. America is a corrupt lying nation like all other countries on Earth. You will not hear the Whitehouse or CDC repeat that statistic about the vaccinated folks dying since they are too busy telling everyone that the jabs prevent serious illness and death. The government and its surrogates want everyone to keep getting COVID-19 vaccinations every few months by hook or by crook.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 7/23/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The US reports 106K daily new cases for Friday. We'll take it. 106K is well below the peak highs at 152K cases on the prior two Friday's and is also below the 7-day MA at 119K cases per day. Wednesday's cases are revised higher to 144K which is fine as long as it remains below 152K. Friday's 106K cases will be hit with some revisions but hopefully it will not boost this welcome number much higher. It would be great if the revisions would trail off to show that the wave is dying. US active cases push higher towards 3.9 million not good. The coveted bell shape cannot form until the active cases flatten and roll over lower. Although the cases were more buoyant this past week than hoped, the lower bias in the data remains in place with perhaps bigger retreats in cases next week. Georgia remains in the thick of a new wave with cases pushing towards 6K per day. New York State's cases are trying to level off at about 7.6K per day which is interesting since the BA5 bug that backtracked to bite the Empire State may be more bark than bite. Ditto New Jersey. Cases remain elevated in the South. Oklahoma, where the wind comes sleeping down the plane, reports 1.6K cases the most since February.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 7/23/22, at 6:00 AM EST: The world reports another day of 1 million cases which is disappointing. Infections increase in eastern Europe and Asia. France is on the mend averaging about 77K cases per day coming down fast. Italy is improving. Germany remans a mess. Russia cases pop to 6.7K yesterday as a new infection wave begins. South Korea's daily cases worsen. Oh no. Japan reports a humongous 180K daily new infections yesterday. It is literally off the chart. Japanese deaths inch higher now running between 30 and 50 souls per day. Australia reports over 53K cases another high for the current wave. Australia does not want to go back to draconian lockdowns or other harsh measures since they created extensive societal damage, but the cases edge higher Down Under. New Zealand is concerned over the increase in China Flu infections since it is burdening the hospital system. Prime Minister Ardern finally woke up, set aside the woke climate change agenda, and is now handling the pandemic. China is reporting about 1K cases per day with outbreaks occurring across the communist nation.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 7/23/22, at 8:00 AM EST: The US morning news shows run COVID-19 stories centered around President Biden's health. Fauci appears on several news shows talking about Biden's condition. On ABC television (democrat-run media), the interviewer tells Fauci that the network's sources heard that the FDA is not planning to approve the fourth shot for those 50 years old and younger (the FDA probably wants to wait for the new boosters in a couple months and tell the folks to get that one). Fauci says not so. He says he had a discussion with the FDA late last night and nothing is final, they are still in the decision-making process so that rumor is not true. The palace intrigue continues over booster-booster shots for the under 50 crowd and also on Dr O'Connor. Everyone wants to see and hear from O'Connor so he may as well get his hair trimmed by the Whitehouse barber and get ready for some public speaking. Dr O'Connor needs to appear and answer questions to satisfy reporters. It's like waiting for Christmas morning. The anticipation and drama increases each day. When will O'Connor appear to answer questions about the president's health? President Biden probably received his third dose of Paxlovid a couple hours ago so it will be interesting to see how he is doing today. The Whitehouse needs to fix the grainy and blurry videography if they want the commander-in-chief to look the part today. Biden's video image should be crystal clear like his first 21-second video on the Truman Balcony announcing his covid illness. Fauci is interviewed on Fox New (republican-run media) by Bret Baier who presses the doctor on the origins of COVID-19 (Wuhan Lab leak). Fauci becomes defensive when questioned about his emails in 2019 and 2020 that were released that paint the doctor in a controversial light. Collins and Fauci are up to their eyeballs in the gain of function research at the Wuhan Laboratories and all that information will come out later. Fauci becomes worked up and then the interview cuts to the commercial. Baier comes back on after the commercial and says Fauci said he would testify in any future proceedings. Humorously, Fauci will likely not return to Bret Baier's show anytime soon and instead stick with the democrat-run media outlets.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 7/23/22, at 10:00 AM EST: The WHO declares monkeypox a global health emergency which means a worldwide response is required. It sounds like the WHO wants funding. Just tell the gay guys to quit butt surfing for a couple weeks; read a book or take up a hobby instead. The US vaccination rate remans in the doldrums at about 250K jabs per day, but as Dr Jha said, the jabs are increasing over the last week. It is the tiniest of victories as the chart shows but hey, take the positive news where you can get it. US hospital admissions are heading higher especially in the older age groups. US hospitalizations are trying to flatline at about 37K so perhaps the rate higher is slowing. Using the dropdown menu, Georgia's hospitalizations are ramping rapidly higher. The CDC data is always several days old. The CDC Community Transmission map is the most yellow and orange since February. The map is a useful tool, especially for future pandemics, but none of the talking heads ever tell people that orange means they should probably wear masks indoors. Studies show that masks are of marginal or little benefit while causing social and learning problems but if this is the CDC game plan, they have to stick to it. The new line from the Whitehouse in recent months is that local communities should make decisions on masking and that is a smart approach. 'Masks are recommended indoors in the orange high-risk counties' but perhaps the words 'depending on local business and government policies' should be added to the directive. At any rate, much of the map is yellow and orange. The southern states are the most orange as a result of the heat wave chasing people indoors where infections increase and also the ongoing southern border crisis. COVID-19 infections are rampant in Guatemala and Mexico and the disease spreads north.
Note Added Saturday Afternoon, 7/23/22T: President Biden's physician, Dr O'Connor, provides an update sending a memorandum to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. O'Connor is still in letter mode but that is not going to cut it; he has to come out and play with the media. O'Connor says the president "completed his second full day of Paxlovid last night." This is a stupid statement. Biden tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday morning and immediately went on Paxlovid since he is one of America's privileged. Let's call it 8 AM EST. Thus, the first 'full' day of Paxlovid treatment is from 8 AM Thursday morning to 8 AM Friday morning and day two of the 5-day oral pill regimen is 8 AM Friday morning to 8 AM Saturday morning. Why is the smart doctor saying the second full day of Paxlovid was completed Friday evening? Maybe he should not have said "full?" Either O'Connor is wrong or they may have actually known the president was sick on Wednesday evening and that is when the Paxlovid started perhaps after returning from the Massachusetts event where he glad-handed everyone there? O'Connor says the "preliminary sequencing results have returned" and President Biden "most likely" has the BA5 variant. Does he or doesn't he? If O'Connor has the results why doesn't he know 100%? Biden likely contracted COVID-19 in Israel (based on the 8-day incubation sweet spot) where the BA5 outbreak was rampant. The memorandum is not impressive. Get some public speaking coaching pronto O'Connor because you need to show up at the Whitehouse pressroom podium this week and answer questions. The US death rate is over 3 hundo bodies per day and it will be interesting to see if this terrible statistic drops over the coming days and few weeks since Dr Jha says 40K courses of Paxlovid are being given out each day as of last week. The US should break through the covid funk of wave 7 this week and keep sending cases lower as long as the southern states cooperate. Georgia has been in focus because of rising case counts so it will be important to see cases retreat this week. Perhaps no matter when you take the first dose of Paxlovid during the day, it is simply called the first full day, and then it continues on from there. These are the questions that O'Connor is hiding from. The doctor says Biden's symptoms improve with the sore throat the remaining predominant symptom. Sleepy Joe's vital signs are normal and body aches are diminishing. Sounds like the Paxlovid is working. The letter is a cut and paste job. The peak highs for US wave 7 are 151,902 cases on Friday, 7/8/22, and 151,578 cases on Friday, 7/15/22. The 106K cases on Friday are beautiful maintaining the lower trend. The peaks are at 152K but notice that 7/15/22 is a hair below 7/8/22 and in technical analysis each hair matters. It is good news. Further, last Wednesday, 7/20/22, was the high for last week at 144K cases which is below the prior Wednesday's 145K cases and below the 152 cases peaks. This is positive stuff although it is obvious we are not quite out of the covid storm as yet. The expectation is for a great week ahead with lower cases that will confirm a happy back-half of the summer but the next few days will have to play out. The 7-day MA trend line is down to 93K cases per day moving lower although it has been a jagged sideways ride for 2 months. The daily cases need to be below 93K to pull the average lower. The good news with the 7-day moving average is that the peak Friday day at 152K cases on 7/15/22 will slip out of the calculation so the expectation is that the trend line should develop a more steady and reliable downward path. Good stuff is expected this week (lower cases). The table is set but what will be served? California cases show signs of peaking and Los Angeles County says the infections are leveling off. Texas reports peak cases for wave 7 at 15K on 7/14/22. One week later, later cases are down to 13.6K and 13.4K for 7/20/22 and 7/21/22 a positive sign that the wave may have peaked. New York and New Jersey are interesting since they are getting hit with the pure BA5 reinfection wave; a 7b partial wave extending the 7a wave that was mainly BA2. The other states are hit with a single wave 7 that is a combination of BA2, BA4 and BA5 with BA5 dominating at about 80% of US infections currently. New York's cases are subsiding and New Jersey's cases, the 7b wave, may be rolling over now as well. More positive news. The South is the main headache right now and as mentioned above, Georgia and Kentucky serve as poster children since their waves are elevated. A couple days are needed to assess the incoming cases. If Georgia's and Kentucky's daily new cases can roll over lower, that would seal a happy path ahead for the US.

He says he had "two great nights of sleep" and "I feel fine." Biden says all the tests are normal. The upper respiratory tract still bothers him. He wants to be back to work in person this week and says he is still keeping a full schedule. It is good news that the president is feeling and looking better. The Whitehouse spokesperson Jean-Pierre and Dr Jha are taking questions in the pressroom after the chip event. Reporters keep grilling the two asking why Dr O'Connor will not take direct questions. Many young men, and ladies, do not want to join due to the forced COVID-19 vaccinations. An article published in the JAMA Network Open journal reports on a study of about 1,500 kids in 8 countries that went to emergency rooms with COVID-19 symptoms. 90 days later, 6% still had symptoms (long-covid) so that is only 90 kids. The study is small. Teens over 14 years old are more susceptible to long-covid than the younger children.

The 7-day MA is at 102K cases per day but it is factoring in the biggest day last week on Wednesday which now drops out of the calculation so the moving average should trail lower. Last Monday was about 75K cases but was revised up to 104K so it is good news that the 68K is below both these numbers. US active cases continue trying to flatten at the 3.7 to 3.9 million range. The active cases have to flatten before they drop to form the bell shape and prove the virus is being defeated. US deaths remain at about 3 hundo souls per day but a lower bias may be developing. This would be great news and verify that the increased Paxlovid distribution, highlighted by Dr Jha the other day, with over 40K courses distributed last week, is bringing down the death rate. It only took Biden and the gang 7 months to finally get the Paxlovid logistics correct a pitiful display of incompetence. The world reports 700K cases yesterday so 22%, or 1 in 5 global cases, working towards 1 in 4, are in Japan. 14%, or 1 in 7, world cases are in South Korea. Indonesia reports 6.5K cases the most for the new wave. Malaysia cases are trying to level-out but Philippines cases continue higher. Australia and New Zealand daily cases are slumping-over and will hopefully begin a solid downward bias. South America is improving. Taiwan continues improving and is on the mend displaying the coveted bell shape for its active cases chart but the China Virus outbreak has taken a serious toll. There were less than 1,000 deaths in South Korea in mid-May. Fast forward to late July and there are now 8.7K dead bodies. 7.7K South Koreans die over the last 10 weeks which is 770 souls per day. He contrasts his COVID-19 illness to former President Trump's in October 2020 saying that he could work while sick proving how the vaccines have made a big difference. The Paxlovid got Biden through the covid illness more than the vaccines and he had the best case scenario because of the EARLY TREATMENT (he immediately received the first dose of Paxlovid upon testing positive last Thursday morning). The chronology has touted EARLY TREATMENT as the key to beating COVID-19 but the Whitehouse, CDC, NIH, FDA and others never stress this important fact that has been a mantra of the Frontline doctors and others using alternative treatments and therapies for over 2 years. Biden proclaims that "covid deaths are down negative 90%." What? He says this is when he came into office, then mumbles, then says a year ago. What is he talking about? Total deaths are obviously going to continue to rise. On 1/20/21, when Joe took office, 437,302 Americans were dead from COVID-19 under Trump's watch. There are 1,053,969 total deaths from China Virus (over 1.05 million people) so 616,667 Americans were placed in coffins under Biden's watch a +140% increase in dead bodies. He is likely cherry-picking the data and referencing the 7-day MA trend line for daily new deaths now at 323 Americans dying per day from COVID-19. When Biden took office on 1/20/21, the US was at the peak of the nasty wave 3 with the 7-day MA at 3,248 deaths per day. Thus, this reduction is -90% on the dot (3248-323/3248=0.90 or -90%). Those sly devils. There's a numbers guy or gal in a far off corner of the Whitehouse playing with their calculator mining for soundbites. When Biden says the -90% improvement in deaths, he is referencing the US death rate using the peak numbers of the pandemic in January 2021 compared to now. Comically, as his confused mumbling shows, he likely does not know what the -90% number means himself. That's funny. The rebuttal for POTUS would be that the US death rate has worsened (increased) by +32% over the last year. This is true. He must have forgot to tell everyone this statistic. The 7-day MA US death rate was down to 245 souls per day last July and now 323 deaths per day (323-245/245=0.32 or +32%). As Mark Twain quipped, "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and Statistics." Keystone says, "Statistics do not lie, but people do." At 11:52 AM, Sleepy Joe's short 9-miniute vaccine pep talk ends. He does not take any questions. Biden turns and walks to the Oval Office that he has not been in for one week. It looks like shy little Dr O'Connor avoids the public eye, this time.
Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 7/27/22: President Biden releases a video denouncing the January 6 Capitol Hill Riot but it is not what he says that creates a buzz but his odd appearance. He appears all hepped up with wild eyes. Biden wore the aviator sunglasses in the Rose Garden but in the video his wide-open odd eyes are on full display. Social media goes wild wondering what drugs the president is taking. He is likely taking steroids which explains the mildly aggressive language and mannerisms in the short video. As for the wild eyes, who knows what drugs he is on? Dr O'Connor does not speak to the media because he probably does not want to lie.

A pair of studies say that COVID-19 started with animals. Wow, 2 studies. However, they are both led by the same guy, Michael Worobey at the liberal University of Arizona. So why not call it one study? Two makes it sound like a bigger deal. Dude, the Wuhan Laboratories, where they were experimenting on viruses, are a stone's throw from the animal market. In addition, the CCP destroyed the Chinese data on coronavirus from the initial stages of the pandemic (for Western eyes). The WHO lies in bed with the CCP so any hope of finding out the real truth about COVID-19 is unrealistic. China owes the world reparations for their dastardly deed. Worobey's studies conclude; "Have we disproven the lab leak theory? No, we have not. (Then why do you promote your studies as the solemn word that coronavirus is of natural origin?) Will we ever be able to know? No." Of course not. New York City Health Commissioner Ashwin Vasan wants to make a name for himself and grab his 15 minutes of Andy Warhol fame by asking the WHO to change the name of monkeypox because it stigmatizes "communities of color." There are 3,600 monkeypox cases in the US mainly in the gay male community. WHO considered changing the name of monkeypox about a month ago but shied away from the action. The sick elitists are the actual racists. The doctors and scientists at the WHO, and now the politicians in New York City, are telling everyone that when the word 'monkey' is said, everyone thinks of black people. How sick, twisted and racist is that under the guise of being the do-gooder's? Normal folks do not think that way; not at all. When people see the word monkey, they may think of the zoo and fun times they had their with their family, or maybe a television show about animals, or a movie, maybe Planet of the Apes, or Clint Eastwood with his orangutan, or maybe Dame Jane Goodall that dedicated her life to studying chimpanzees. The people at WHO and those that run NYC government think of black people when they hear the word monkey. Vasan claims that racism increased because former President Trump used the term "China Virus." Proof? There is none but the elite privileged class, that want to instruct you on how to live life, shoot their mouths off anyways stoking sick racism that they say they want to stop. These people know what they are doing (purposely stoking racial hatred in America). Imagine how sick in the head you are that when you see the word monkey you automatically think of black people and nothing else. You should seek psychiatric help if you think this way. Note Added Wednesday Evening, 7/27/22, at 10:00 PM EST: CNBC media releases an article titled, "What to do if you have Covid symptoms but keep testing negative at home, according to experts." Clinical Biologist Esther Babady at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York says some of the antigen tests are taking longer to appear positive. That's not good. She says BA4 and BA5 are not detected as well with antigen tests perhaps due to a mutation in the protein structure. She also opines that there may not be enough of the COVID-19 protein produced early on in the BA4 and BA5 infections which hampers detection. People are complaining that they have aches and pains, headaches, fevers, fatigue and loss of taste and smell, characteristic covid symptoms, but test negative. Babady wonders if the problem may be due to a specific brand of test rather than labeling all rapid antigen tests as questionable. Can Americans trust the free covid tests in the bathroom cabinet? Officials say a PCR test will provide better results but poor and average income folks do not have money to throw away on tests. Why aren't global health officials communicating with one another about this issue? Is the same potential problem with antigen tests not detecting BA4 and BA5 occurring in Japan, South Korea, Australia and/or New Zealand? Medical people are sitting around drinking coffee discussing names of viruses instead of doing their jobs. Modern-day incompetence is global. The pandemic problems and woes continue.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/28/22, at 3:00 AM EST: The US reports 122K cases for Tuesday an elevated number with the 7-day MA at 119K cases per day. The pesky US wave 7 remains stubbornly sideways with the lower bias. Georgia plays catch-up with its data with the 7-day MA for daily new cases at 4.1K per day heading higher. Kentucky cases are averaging about 3K per day and rising. It is surprising to see the 122K cases for Tuesday since the charts for the individual states display a more positive path ahead. Indiana and Illinois report elevated numbers. Pennsylvania reports 4.4K cases the most in 7 weeks. Just when the Keystone State looked like it weathered the storm, it is now smacked with BA5 and a wave 7b. Cases are elevated in West Virginia at highs not seen since February. An elevated BA5 infection zone is formed with Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee. California, Texas and Florida are steady and trying to improve which is great news but the BA5 bug wreaks havoc in the other southern states and is moving back up into the mid-Atlantic states. The CDC Community Transmission map shows lots of orange (high-risk of infection) and yellow (medium risk) In West Virginia and Kentucky and across the southern states. However, Pennsylvania is green and that is not true so it exposes the data lag at the CDC that says the map was last updated last Thursday. That makes sense so Pennsylvania should be displaying more orange and yellow on the map if it was up to date. For the CDC map to be useful, the data needs to be updated faster. California is shown as completely orange with some small yellow spots but they are improving so there should be far more yellow in the Golden State. And furthering the nitpicking, the orange color should be a pastel red or rose color instead because that would match the colors of a street light; green means go, yellow means caution and red means stop. If the CDC and Whitehouse mask lovers want more people to wear masks indoors as per the recommendation of the orange color, from a psychological perspective, they would get more people to wear masks if the color was red. Orange does not denote action but red does.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/28/22, at 4:00 AM EST: South Korea reports over 100K cases yesterday the most since April. Japan remains in trouble. Boom. Russia reports over 9K cases yesterday the most since April. Dirtbag Dictator Putin has a new BA5 infection wave to deal with in addition to his insane war against Ukraine. The Russia cases are small but clearly a new wave has started; the weeks ahead will dictate its magnitude. Australia reports 50K cases yesterday and continues struggling to defeat the BA5 menace. Indonesia reports 6.4K cases yesterday the most since March. Peru and Bolivia remain challenged. Iran reports over 10K cases yesterday the most since February.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/28/22, at 7:00 AM EST: The US Coast Guard is separating members from the ranks because they are not complying with the vaccine mandate garbage. The Guard is not honoring religious and other exemptions or providing due process to the unvaccinated members. The Guard changes their rules telling members to kneel and take multiple mRNA shots and if you do not, you lose your job. The Coast Guard *ssholes have not met their recruitment goals since 2018. Duh. Young Americans are avoiding all branches of service instead choosing other careers because of the vaccine mandate garbage. When you go on a beach vacation, on a boat ride several miles off shore, and little Jimmy drowns because the Coast Guard was short-staffed and not available to help, do not forget to be thankful that the vaccine mandates are being enforced (even though the jabs do not prevent infection or transmission of virus). The control freaks are everywhere.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/28/22, at 8:30 AM EST: The US GDP number for Q2 (April-May-June) is -0.9% two consecutive negative quarters of growth ushering in an economic recession for the United States; sad day. A recession is officially named by a small committee of economists but sometimes they do not have the necessary data to make the call for a few weeks or months. President Biden is seeking a distraction so he scheduled a phone call to dirtbag Dictator Xi of the CCP that controls China as the GDP number drops. Biden does not want Americans to realize they are in a recession since it will only breed more negativity. The job situation remains robust so the Whitehouse will push back against the recession call touting the positive aspect of a strong job market. Grabienews displays a montage of the economists, politicians, journalists and Biden all wrong about the recession. American mediocrity is on full display daily.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/28/22, at 9:00 AM EST: All eyes are on the president over the coming days to see if he becomes a Paxlovid rebound case like Dr Fauci. If a rebound appears, it is usually 3 to 4 days after the 5-day Paxlovid anti-viral oral pill treatment ends. Monday was Biden's last day of Paxlovid so Tuesday would be day 1 of the rebound watch, yesterday is day 2, and today day 3. Biden is in the rebound window now so hopefully his 79-year old frail body does not suffer a rebound case. We will know the answer by the weekend. The Whitehouse and CDC say about 5% of the Paxlovid users end up with a rebound case (some say it is as low as 2% but others say it is way more at 20% or 1 in 5 Paxlovid users). The good thing is that folks that rebound typically go on another course of Paxlovid and have great results. The Whitehouse and CDC need to provide the data on how many folks are doing repeat Paxlovid courses because that number could be assumed to be a fair indication of rebound cases. Good luck to Sleepy Joe especially today and tomorrow. Unlike basketball, this is a rebound you do not want. Where are those Biden test results Dr O'Connor? Chop chop.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 7/28/22, at 9:30 AM EST: Illinois democrat Senator Dick Durbin tests positive for COVID-19. Washington, DC, is a covid-infected nest. Durbin is waving the flag of quadruple vaccination including the booster-booster (fourth shot) but now sick with coronavirus. He has mild symptoms and will remain in quarantine for a few days. The democrats need Durbin's vote in the Senate to push through liberal legislation, and he has to be physically there, so democrat Majority Leader Schumer sends chicken soup to Durbin's home. Do you think Durbin already has the first Paxlovid pill in his tummy? Of course he does. He is rich not a low-life poor person.

Note Added Friday Morning, 7/29/22, at 3:00 AM EST: The US reports 128K daily new cases for Wednesday an elevated number that is disappointing but is below last Wednesday's 149K cases a good thing. The United States is trying to roll the BA5 wave over for daily cases but it is occurring in slow motion. The 7-day MA is at 120K cases per day. Higher revisions to the case numbers continue which is not good since it indicates that the infection wave remains strong. Last Friday's cases are revised higher to 153,227 a disappointment since it is now the highest day of wave 7. Today's cases are important and must remain below 153K preferably far lower at least under the 7-day MA at 120K. America is trying to turn the corner but the pesky BA5 bug is a formidable foe. The cases in the majority of states are not increasing but the problem is that they are not wanting to go down either. The daily cases are in a sideways malaise. The positive aspect of this sideways behavior, however, is that the move out of the flatness should be down.
Note Added Friday Morning, 7/29/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The world reports over 1 million cases for Wednesday with the 7-day MA trying to trend lower at 926K cases per day. Japan and South Korea are no doubt boosting the global numbers higher. The COVID-19 global death rate climbs to over 2K deaths per day a disappointment since the rate was down to 1.3K deaths per day only 6 weeks ago. BA5 wants its name written in pandemic infamy and it succeeds. Oh no. Japan reports over 207K cases yesterday the most of the pandemic with the 7-day MA trend line parabolic (vertical) at over 183K cases per day. Employees at the casket-making factories are going to be working overtime as 122 Japanese die yesterday the most deaths since March. BA5 is culling the elderly Japanese population. South Korea is averaging 100K cases per day over the last 3 days. 30% of the world's daily new cases, almost 1 in 3, are occurring in Japan and South Korea. Two years ago, South Korea was held up as the gold standard on how to handle the pandemic but it is now in shambles. Germany, France and Italy continue improving with daily cases trending slowly lower. Thwack. Russia reports 12K daily new covid cases yesterday the new wave is on solid footing and moving higher. US intelligence agencies estimate that 75K Russian troops have either been killed or maimed in the Ukraine War with about 15K dead and 60K injured. Russian families grieve over the mess and human tragedy Putin has created and now must deal with a new BA5 infection wave. Cases continue rising in Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czechia and other eastern European and western Asia nations although the case numbers remain small. Iran worsens with cases jumping to near 11K per day. Brazil is improving. Damn. Bolivia reports 6.4K cases another high for the current wave. Health Minister Jeyson Auza confirms that the BA4 and BA5 bugs are wreaking havoc. Only about one-half of Bolivia's population is vaccinated with 2 shots. The good news is that not many Bolivians are dying from the current outbreak as yet with only 8 deaths yesterday. Mexico's daily new cases are rolling over and starting to trend lower so hopefully this will continue since it will create a more positive picture for the US southern border states.
Note Added Friday Afternoon, 7/29/22: Pfizer and Moderna step out onto a covid tree limb proclaiming that they can provide updated COVID-19 booster shots by September. The FDA is holding off on recommending the fourth shot (booster-booster) to folks under 50 years old instead choosing to wait for the new booster shots to become available before giving the green light. President Biden is playing it low-key today behind closed doors. It sounds like he does not have anymore symptoms so a Paxlovid rebound is probably off the table. It depends on how Sleepy Joe wakes up tomorrow morning.
