The pandemic news remains rosy for the world except for the
Southeast Asia hotspot. The other bad news is the PLANET CROSSING THE 6 MILLIONDEATHS GRIM MILESTONE. Sad times indeed. The world’s total deaths chart is
shown above and unfortunately the rate of change higher is only subsiding
slightly. China owes the world reparations for the COVID-19 pandemic crime
against humanity. The likely Wuhan Lab leak murders over 6 million souls.
984K Americans are dead from China Virus only 16K shy of the
1 million mark. The United States death rate from coronavirus is 1,316 bodies
per day and thankfully the rate is dropping sharply. America will cross the 1
million grim milestone in 11 to 13 days; say 3/17/22. This terrible news will
dampen the drunken spirits on St Patrick’s Day and how appropriate that it will
occur during the Ides of March (3/15/22).
The pandemic news flow has slowed considerably. The pandemic
is waning. As conditions improve in the US and abroad, people are focusing
attention elsewhere and learning to live with COVID-19. The news is dominated
by Russia’s war against Ukraine. Dirtbag Dictator Putin went insane gunning for
WW III.
The US daily new cases chart is shown above a beautiful
sight. 45.7K daily new cases are reported for yesterday which is less than
1,000 cases per state. Some states only have a few hundred cases. The 7-day MA
is down to 47K cases per day so the daily numbers need to remain below 47K and
lower to keep pulling the 7-day MA trend line lower. The chart shows how the
7-day MA is taking on a more gradual glide path lower but down is the operative
word and that is what matters.
The 3-day MA for US daily cases (not shown in chart but you
can check it out on Worldometer) continues the trend of lower lows and lower
highs that verifies the ongoing move lower a lovely sight almost as pretty as
the California Girls David Lee Roth sings about. America is looking good
and it will be interesting to see how many states are remaining on the naughty
list below.
The US active cases curve is shown above that reflects the
stress and strain on the healthcare workers, caregivers, doctors, nurses,
medics and hospital staffs. The active cases are down to 25 million well off
the near 30 million peak about 3 weeks ago. The active cases curve is the ‘flattening
the curve’ chart. Remember this from 2 years ago at the start of the pandemic?
People are confused to this day as to what flatten the curve
ever meant. America’s active cases chart flattened and rolled over to the
downside forming the bell shape that ushers in far lower caseloads for
healthcare professionals.
The remaining mystery for the US is if the southern states
will experience high infection rates beginning in June and July as the hot
summer sun and sweltering humidity chase people indoors to breathe each other’s
air. The case numbers during the upcoming Southern Nights will provide a
heads-up for the northern states in the Fall as people flock indoors for
warmth. With a little bit of luck, US wave 6 may be the end to the pandemic
phase. Good riddance.
The US daily deaths chart is shown above. 1.5K Americans
lose their lives to China Virus yesterday and the 7-day MA trend line is down
to 1,316 deaths per day and dropping like a rock a fantastic sight. It is hard
to believe that 1.3K Americans dying per day due to the Wuhan Flu is a good
thing but the trend is almost straight down and 1.3K dead is better than over
2K dead per day. This is the way the mind thinks after a 2-year pandemic. Humans
always interact, compete and rationalize in ‘relative’ terms.
The world’s daily new cases chart is shown above displaying
the omicron wave inverted V pattern. The world reports 1.6 million daily new
cases yesterday with the 7-day MA at 1.4 million cases per day. Cases head
lower but the sharpness of the descent is slowing due to the trouble in
Southeast Asia.
The world’s daily deaths chart is shown above. 8K earthlings
die yesterday and the 7-day MA is down to 7,155 dead bodies per day dropping
nicely. Deaths have been in a downtrend ever since the record top at 15K to 17K
deaths per day in January 2021.
The brown trend line and circles show the pattern of lower
lows maintaining the downward trend in world deaths. Next in line is the 6.0 to
6.2K deaths per day circle that will be another lower low for the trend as well
as comparing back to 2020 numbers. Things are looking good and will get better
as soon as the omicron waves work through Southeast Asia.
Japan’s daily deaths chart is shown above. The island nation
is on the mend with daily and active cases looking good but the elevated deaths
are tragic. Japan is an aging population and the demographics pose a dangerous
economic problem going forward because it is not the friendliest nation towards
immigrants (there is a worker shortage as the population ages and needs more
help).
Japan’s 7-day MA trend line rolls over to 228 deaths per day
and should continue lower. China Flu culls the elderly population. The old and
the fat are the victims of coronavirus but since there are not many fat folks
in Japan, the old are hit in higher numbers. Hopefully, no one is holding
pillows over the senior’s faces to lessen the government burden.
As omicron makes its way around the world ending in
Southeast Asia, some nations fare far better in the deaths department than
others. All nations show a bump higher in deaths as would be expected during
the omicron wave, however, most nations display only subtle rises in deaths
that do not test prior levels to any great extent.
Conversely, the countries that show large jumps in deaths
during the omicron wave are the United States, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong
Kong, Turkey, Israel, Azerbaijan, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Greece, Serbia, Croatia
and Belarus and there are likely others. What do these nations have in common?
Most are coastal nations. The Western diet of meat,
potatoes, pasta, white bread and gluten is in play for many of the nations
although there are a few Asian nations listed. Perhaps there are also inferior
vaccines at play and, in the case of Japan, some virus variants may be creating
mischief.
There are large military bases in Japan and South Korea so
perhaps the US servicemen are sneaking around at night kissing the pretty
Japanese and Korean girls spreading omicron. The reasons that some countries
had higher B11529 Botswana/South Africa Omicron Variant deaths than others are
best left for a future PhD dissertation by a budding epidemiologist.
South Korea’s daily new cases chart is shown above an
unmitigated disaster. In 2020, everyone wanted to be like South Korea. Their
testing, tracking and tracing procedures were unmatched. The nation is now in
shambles overrun and overwhelmed by the China Virus. There are lots of
servicemen and women in Seoul and elsewhere, nearly 40K, so many are likely
sickened.
South Korea reports 267K daily new cases yesterday another
new record. This is five US baseball stadiums of people testing positive for
omicron each day in South Korea. It makes you glad you aren’t there. 186 South
Koreans die yesterday the deadliest day of the pandemic.
Vietnam’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Vietnam
reports 126K daily new cases another record high. Vietnam produces lots of
American goods including computers and electrical gadgets so production may
slow since folks are sick thereby exacerbating the worldwide inflation problem.
The 7-day MA for Vietnam cases is at 105K cases per day.
Malaysia’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Malaysia
reports over 33K daily new cases yesterday the highest ever. The 7-day MA is
rolling over lower but the pop in infections yesterday will likely push the
moving average sideways for a couple days instead of lower. Malaysia is likely
relaxing restrictions too quickly and perhaps more foreign travelers are
reigniting the infections. The Omicron Variant continues working through
Southeast Asia.
Thailand’s active cases chart is shown above with the bell
curve nowhere in sight. In fact, active cases set a new record high at 228K.
Thailand’s medical system must be in shambles. Thailand relies heavily on
tourism their number one industry and no one wants to travel to a
covid-infected nest. On a positive note, Thailand’s daily cases may be pulling
back creating a better path ahead. For now, the wealthy silver-haired white
Americans will have to put their erotic vacation plans to Bangkok on hold.
Hong Kong’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The
now-commie region under mainland China’s control, reports 57K daily new cases.
The Omicron Variant makes mincemeat of the zero-covid strategy. Store shelves
are bare as residents panic that a communist-style lockdown and testing regime
is about to begin in Hong Kong. You heard of the ice pick pattern which is the
omicron wave but Hong Kong is a needle pattern pricking mainland China that is
becoming more infected.
Boom. China reports 294 daily new cases yesterday the
highest since the pandemic started 2 years ago. The 7-day MA trend line is also
at 2-year highs at 236 infections per day. China (the CCP) lies about everything
so the numbers are likely far worse. Look at the messes in Hong Kong and
Vietnam. There are not even 3 hundo cases per day occurring in red China, a
land of 1.4 billion bodies. Come on, now.
China uses the conventional style vaccines Sinovac and Sinopharm
that have not proven that effective so 2022 may be a hairy year for the
communists. China will be a fascinating story to watch over the coming days and
few weeks. If the zero-covid strategy fails as infections spin out of control,
China’s ports will be congested and backlogged worsening the global inflation.
China’s active cases are trending higher as well the 7-day
MA is at 3.3K active cases. China is teasing the 3.5K highs from 6 weeks ago
and if it is taken out, which is likely, there is big trouble ahead for red
China. The 2022 Paralympics are underway in Beijing more unfortunate timing for
the athletes.
New Zealand’s daily cases chart is shown above with 3 days
of cases above 22K at record levels. Perhaps a top is in otherwise, New
Zealand’s zero-covid strategy butt is going to be sitting on that ice pick
formation. Ouch. 22K infections per day with the omicron wave still in the
parabolic up phase, is not good news for the scenic country. Is another
zero-covid strategy taking a shiv to the ribs? Were the draconian lockdowns
worth it? Omicron does what omicron feels like doing and it seeks vulnerable
hosts and those zero-covid bodies are looking mighty tasty.
Back in the United States, the CDC COVID-19 Data Tracker
shows US hospitalizations down to 31K and this is data 3 days old. COVID-19
hospitalizations are ready to go sub 30K. Great news and spring is in the air.
Life is a cabaret, old chum.
75% of Americans 18 years old and older are fully vaccinatedand 87% of the folks 18 and older have at least one shot. The Whitehouse and
CDC have nothing to complain about with this excellent participation. Add in
the Americans that had covid and recovered (natural antibodies), and the US is
at herd immunity. The tricky part is that sometimes a sneaky variant decides
not to play by the herd immunity rules.
95 million Americans have received booster shots so 29% ofthe country (95/330). This is a poor number and the main reason the definition
of fully vaccinated remains at only the two initial shots and is not changed to
the two shots plus the booster jab. 216 million Americans, or 65%, are fully
vaccinated by the current definition making the CDC and the Whitehouse look
like successful bigshots. Why spoil it by changing the definition which would
immediately result in only 29% of Americans fully vaccinated? It is a political
pandemic with officials following the ‘political science’.
The US vaccination rate drops to about 240K shots per dayand the data is a few days old. The vax rate is the lowest since the jabs
started in December 2020 and January 2021 proof that Sleepy Joe’s never-ending
mantra “get vaccinated” falls on deaf ears. Humorously, people are already
viewing China Flu like the regular seasonal flu, and ignoring the protective
inoculations.
A positive development from the CDC is the new US countycommunity transmission map that provides mask guidance with 3 simple colors, like
a street light, only the orange color should be more reddish. About 90% of the
United States is in the green and yellow areas where masks are not required.
The immunocompromised folks should check with their doctors about wearing masks
in the yellow counties. Doc will probably say yes.
The orange, or red, counties, are high transmission so masks
should be used in indoor public venues. Masks are still required on public
transportation and this expires 3/18/22 the day after St Patty’s Day. The
Whitehouse and CDC probably do not have the guts to extend the mask mandate.
Authorities say a decision will not be made until 3/18/22.
Americans may burn the place down (figuratively) if forced
to wear masks on airplanes and busses all summer long. Nope. Not going tohappen. Not gonna do it. It would not be prudent at this juncture, as DanaCarvey would quip when he imitated President Bush, but time will tell. The
natives are getting restless. The CDC and Whitehouse are going to have to roll
with the flow or risk a mutiny.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 81 million. India is next with 43 million total virus cases. Brazil,
France, UK, Russia, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Argentina and Iran round out
the top dozen on the ugly list.
COVID-19 has infected 444 million people worldwide. 6.0 million
people are dead from the China Flu a grim statistic. 377 million global
citizens have recovered from China Flu. 85% (377/444) of the people that become
infected with COVID-19 recover in a reasonable time frame. This percentage had
been at 90% to 92% for many months, and then dropped to 80% for a couple months
now rebounding to 83%-85%.
People are not recovering as fast from COVID-19 as one year
ago despite all the vaccines available around the world. About 20% of the
people that contract coronavirus (1 in 5) have lingering health effects such as
long-covid or die.
Worldwide, 1.4% (6/444) of the people that are infected with
covid die; 1 in 74. This number sat at 2.1%-2.2% for many months but trends
lower for the last 4 months to 1.4%. The vaccinations and natural immunities
are helping to lower the world’s death rate albeit by small increments. If
people are not dying as much and taking longer to recover, if they recover, it
hints that long-covid cases may be increasing.
5.8% (444/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 17 people on earth. This
was 1 in every 24 people 6 weeks ago and 1 in 18 only 10 days ago. This
behavior verifies the contagiousness of the Omicron variant.
0.08% of the world’s population (6/7670) died from the
pandemic; 1 in every 1,278 people on earth died from China Virus.
In the United States, 81 million people are infected with covid.
984K Americans are dead. 54 million Americans have recovered from coronavirus. This
equates to 66.6% (54/81) of US citizens recovering after becoming infected with
COVID-19. The recovery percentage has been between 76% and 84% for much of last
year but over the last 5 months drops to the 61% to 67% range. The recovery
percentage is also dropping for the world as shown above. Vaccines have not
improved the recovery percentage.
America’s rampant obesity problem has greatly added to
deaths, hospitalizations and long-covid problems. If you are overweight or obese,
and unvaccinated, call your doctor. For the last 2 years, people have put off
medical procedures so their bodies are weaker. China Flu kills the old and the
fat.
In the US, 1.2% (984/81000) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. This number was sticky at 1.6% to 1.8% for many months but has sagged to
1.2% over the last 5 months. 1 in every 82 US citizens that are infected with coronavirus
die. 0.30% (984/330000) of Americans have died from COVID-19 which is 1 in
every 335 Americans.
25% (81/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid; 1 in every 4 Americans. The minority
communities are impacted disproportionately. The 25% that now have natural
immunities solidly contribute towards the herd immunity number mentioned above
and the numbers for natural immunity are likely far higher than reported. Many
Americans had covid at home and never saw a doctor or reported the illness and
they have some level of natural antibody protection.
The United States has 18% (81/444) of the COVID-19 cases in
the world. 1 in 5.5 (2 in 11) people that become infected with covid on planet
earth are Americans. The US vaccination program made an impact month’s ago, but
not so much in recent weeks and months. This percentage was 22% about one year ago
so it is flatlining for a long time.
The US accounts for 16% (984/6000) of the China Flu deaths
in the world. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are Americans.
9 months ago, it was 1 in 5. The numbers are stalled at the same level for the
last few months.
The Keystone Speculator Coronavirus Infection Rate Model,
the Keystone Model for short, is a simple model that predicts when the active
cases chart curves will flatten-out and roll-over lower. The active cases chart
is the ‘flatten the curve’ chart that represents the maximum stress and strain on
the medical system and healthcare workers. Once the active cases chart rolls
over forming the bell shape, the virus is being defeated and healthcare workers
can breathe easier.
The Keystone Model uses the peak in the daily new cases to
forecast the peak and flattening of the active cases curve. The ‘flattening of
the curve’ only pertains to the active cases chart. For communist nations where
the populations must do what they are told or they receive a bullet in their
heads (China), and for smaller authoritarian nations (Eastern European
countries, Africa and Middle East nations), and many Asian nations where
citizens follow government rules without questioning authority (South Korea,
Japan, Singapore, Australia), the active cases curve will peak, on average, 11
days after the peak in daily new cases.
For the Western countries, such as the US and European
nations, the so-called free societies, the active cases curve will peak, on
average, 28 days after the peak in new cases. It takes about 2 weeks longer for
a free society to tamp down a virus wave than a communist or authoritarian
state because lockdowns are not strictly followed or enforced.
All projections below for countries and the US states
continue to use the 11 and 28-day periods for forecasting for consistency. When
the peak in daily new cases occurs, if a subsequent day is within 8% of that
peak top, it is identified as the peak in daily new cases day in reference to
the Keystone Model.
The peak in the daily new cases is easily seen on the bar
charts provided by Worldometer, the CDC and Johns-Hopkins. The daily new cases
bar charts are shown on television news channels with a 7-day moving average
(MA) line which is a smoothing mechanism that identifies the trend.
An update for The Keystone Model is provided since another
10-day period passes and more data and information become available to push the
Wuhan Flu story forward. The Coronavirus Chronology identifies the real-time
hotspots occurring around the world and within the United States. The
chronology serves as a historical document that will be referenced for decades
to come by those that want to experience the entire pandemic as it unfolds in
real-time.
With the pandemic hopefully subsiding and entering an
endemic phase, the Coronavirus Chronology articles may end soon. If the country
and US state lists below dwindle down to only a handful of names, that will

Worldometer data leading the others by a few days. The Worldometer data is farsuperior for forecasting since it is updated more reliably in real-time.
The countries with rising active cases charts are
highlighted below with the worst nations at the bottom. The peaks in daily new
cases are shown and the projected peaks for active cases are based on the
Keystone Model. The peak and flattening of the active cases curves are
extremely important since it represents the maximum stress on healthcare
workers and the medical systems.
It will take longer for the active cases charts to roll over
to form the bell shape for the troubled nations at the bottom of the list (they
are still experiencing highs and peaks in their daily new cases).
Hospitalizations lag the daily cases by a week or two and deaths lag
hospitalizations by a week or two.

5 more countries are removed from the bad list including Ukraine, Chile, Germany, Cambodia and Myanmar. All are showing their active cases charts flattening and rolling over to the downside. Iceland was overlooked over the last couple weeks and is added to the list. Spain crosses the 100K deaths grim milestone.
The world is on the mend with the obvious exception of
Southeast Asia. There is trouble brewing in China where the Wuhan Virus was
spawned. New Zealand remains challenged.
Finland and Norway may be dealing with a pesky variant that
lingers. Norway shows a mini spike in cases over the last day but it may simply
be a one-off. There is also a spike in cases in the Netherlands which requires monitoring.
The next list shows the 15 US states that have not yet
rolled-over their active cases chart. The other 35 states are in good shape. The
peak in daily new cases and projections for the peaks in active cases are
provided as per the Keystone Model. The flattening and roll over of the active
cases curve forming the bell shape indicates the virus is being defeated and
the caseload on healthcare workers will quickly improve.

It is disappointing that the bad list did not thin out more over the last 11 days. Only 2 states, Georgia and Alaska, are removed from the list as their active cases charts flatten and roll over to the downside starting to form the coveted bell shape officially kicking covid in the rear.
All 50 states have peaked with daily new cases but the
active cases curves are key since they confirm that the hospital caseloads will
lighten each day forward. Generally, the healthcare workers still under
sustained duress are in the states above but conditions will improve in the
days ahead.
On the positive side, 13 of the 15 states above should see
their active cases curves drop in the days ahead and disappear from the list.
It will be great to have no list.
US healthcare workers are going to be happy campers seeing
caseloads drop. It is time to relax and recharge the batteries. No one would
fault the medical professionals and staffs if they got plastered on St Patty’s
Day celebrating the end to their 2 years of covid work misery.
Since 15 states above remain unagreeable to smacking their
active cases charts lower (they will over the coming days), another Coronavirus
Chronology article or two is likely needed to see the bad list above through to
its end. America is looking good. The current vibe feels like it did after US
wave 4 rolled over which would have been the end of the pandemic if it was only
a United States thing. It was not. It is a global pandemic.
The worn-out pandemic mantra proves true that “the pandemic
(virus) is not over until it is over everywhere (around the world).” That is
true because the Delta Variant (US wave 5) hit America, that was spawned in
India, and then the Omicron Variant (wave 6) inflicted more misery, that was
birthed in Zimbabwe/Botswana/South Africa, during the holidays and new year.
Both waves 5 and 6 were also negatively impacted by waning vaccine efficacy.
So six waves may be the end of the pandemic phase and start
of the endemic phase in the United States. The bad state list still has 15
names but, in a few days, there may only be 2 or 3. Maine admits to data issues
so that horrendous record-setting case number on 2/21/22 was a one-off.
Nonetheless the Maine cases remain on the slightly elevated side. The northeast
states brag of the high vaccination rates but they fared no better, and perhaps
a little worse, than other less vaccinated states.
The pandemic notes and film rolls are disappearing from the
news desks as American eyes refocus on Russia’s war against Ukraine, and
potential start of WW III, and other matters such as the global inflation and
high energy and fuel costs.
Americans are going maskless. Some feel naked exposing their
cheeks after 2 years. “Oh, behave,” as Austin says. The springtime in the
northern hemisphere adds to the optimism but there is little joy as murdering
Dictator Putin orders the killing of women and children. Putin elevates himself
to junior Hitler status.
The Peoples Convoy continues across America rolling into
Washington, DC. The convoy does not want to cause a commotion or riot. Other
convoys are going into the city limits perhaps looking for trouble. The Peoples
Convoy is a great success calling attention to freedom and draconian mandates
over the last couple weeks.
It would be great if the convoy could stay in Washington,
DC, until 3/18/22 when the mask rules will be announced for public
transportation but that is still 13 days away. The crowds cheering on the
convoy wave American flags reinforcing the themes of freedom and liberty from
tyranny. There are some Trump flags here and there in the crowds but some
supporters of the Peoples Convoy and freedom and liberty for America may not
enjoy the attachment of the event to King Donnie the orange-headed bloviating
carnival clown.
Aussie cricket great Shane Warne, 52, and on the overweight
side, dies suddenly in Thailand. Maybe he was on an erotic vacation? News
reports say Warne died of a suspected heart attack. He had COVID-19 in August
and was put on a ventilator-type contraption but he downplayed the ordeal
saying he was fine. Warne was vaccinated and thought he was invincible with the
double-whammy of natural and vaccine immunities but he was not especially lying
in Thailand’s covid-infected nest.
Controversy erupts because social media jumps to the
conclusion that the vaccine jabs may have brought on Warne’s heart attack.
Oddly, fellow cricket big shot Rod Marsh died days before. Marsh died of a
heart attack as well further fueling internet rumors about vaccines.
Any three outcomes may be correct for Warne’s demise. He may
have keeled over from omicron especially since he did not fare well with a
prior infection, or he may have died of a simple heart attack, or he may have
died from a heart attack as a result of the vaccine (perhaps a too-large
cluster of spike proteins collecting at a specific area of heart tissue). The
dates of his vaccinations especially the booster, if applicable, would be
helpful.
The political pandemic continues. Every news bite is
immediately manipulated by the political tribes to fit their specific talking
points and narratives. Over 6 million people are dead from China Virus and 1
million will be dead in the United States in the days ahead.
A better outcome would have been achieved if medical
officials, politicians, King Donnie Trump and Sleepy Joe Biden would have
followed ‘actual objective science’ instead of ‘political science’. EARLY
TREATMENT is the key to treating COVID-19 and all treatments and therapies, in
addition to vaccines, should have been cheered and made available to doctors
and healthcare providers form the start.
Instead, valid proven treatments are ridiculed to this day
by know-nothing doctors that handle politics daily rather than patients. It was
a mistake to place all of America’s eggs in the vaccine-only basket but the
only way emergency approval could be granted to the vaccines was if the
authorities said there are no other treatments available. It is just another
day in crony corrupt America.
The pandemic is likely in its last throes, and so is America’s crony capitalism system.

Vietnam reports 132K new infections another record high. Malaysia reports 33.4K daily new cases another record high. Hong Kong crosses above 440K total daily new cases a terrible milestone. China reports 281 daily new cases yesterday and the 7-day MA trend line rises to 241 cases per day. The last nations on the planet that will rid themselves of the omicron scourge will be Malaysia, Vietnam and China (including Hong Kong). China is going to be the big mystery going forward. The low weekend numbers are just what the doctor ordered since they will help the states on the bad list above roll their active cases charts over to the downside in the days ahead. China is trying to Hold On Loosely to the zero-covid strategy but not let go, however, cases are running higher. China reports 329 daily new cases yesterday atop 3 hundo heading for 4 hundo per day. The 7-day MA trend line for China's daily cases is at 254 cases per day climbing higher. The 3-day MA for China's cases prints a higher high suggesting that the trend higher is real and sustainable. Note Added Monday Morning, 3/7/22, at 11:00 AM EST: The Peoples Convoy that is promoting freedom and liberty in America, rather than tyranny, like Canada, rolls into Washington, DC, but remains on the beltway that encircles the political city. The truckers drive around the beltway honking horns as onlookers and folks in other vehicles wave in support. The convoy is a great success but it is a shame that Russia's war against Ukraine drowned-out its media coverage. Truckers and freedom lovers did a couple laps around the beltway yesterday and continue today. The convoy is protesting the COVID-19 mandates and the heavy hand of US government overreach. The protest is not interrupting traffic as the truckers are rolling along with the other vehicles. Maybe someone took a minute or two longer to get to where they were going but no one seems to care (the support for the Peoples Convoy is overwhelming).
Note Added Monday Afternoon, 3/7/22, at 3:00 PM EST: Florida announces plans to recommend against using the COVID-19 vaccine on healthy children. The covid risk to a healthy child is minimal and a growing number of Americans feel their kids should not be vaccinated with the mRNA shots. The CDC continues recommending vaccinations for most children but the credibility of the medical profession and vaccinations has taken a big hit during the pandemic. The talking heads declare themselves to be all-knowing touting science as their guide, when the actual real science, rather than their science fiction, proves their poor judgment and direction. Former President Trump was most concerned about the election in 2020 when COVID-19 took hold, so the pandemic was a political hot potato from day one and remains that way as the third year of misery begins.
Note Added Monday Evening, 3/7/22, at 6:00 PM EST: The US stock market mini-crashes due to the Russia/Ukraine conflict and out of control inflation in commodities (oil, wheat, copper, nickel, etc...). The S&P 500 (United State stock market) plummets -3%. The Dow Jones Industrials Average, watched by the public, collapses -2.4%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq indexes, COMPQ and NDX, crash -3.6% and -3.8%, respectively. Oil prices are through the roof which will drive gasoline prices higher that are over $4 per gallon in most states with some at $6 per gallon. The blood is flowing on Wall Street. A study on the long-covid, or covid long hauler syndrome, shows that the brain of infected patients is impacted in the smell area. The study claims that the damage to the brain is equal to a decade of normal aging. it sounds like a lot of hocus pocus to likely encourage people to get vaccinated. The US vaccination rate drops to only about a quarter-of-a-million (250K) shots per day and many of these are likely people continuing to be forced to inject the mRNA into their bodies by their employers. The CDC places New Zealand, Hong Kong and Thailand on the Level 4 travel warning list up from Level 3. It is not recommended that Americans travel to these three nations. This would have been useful 2 weeks ago. The CDC needs better real-time data since their reaction time always appears slow. At a press conference, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, try to fit that on a business card, says the pandemic is not over. "Although reported cases and deaths are declining globally, and several countries have lifted restrictions, the pandemic is far from over, and it will not be over anywhere until it is over everywhere. The virus continues to evolve and we continue to face major obstacles in distributing vaccines, tests and treatments everywhere they are needed." Dr Tedros is concerned that "countries are drastically reducing testing" which will not provide enough visibility going forward. There are about 1.5 million cases occurring per day in the world and about 10 million per week with numbers dropping. Tedros says 99.7% of the COVID-19 cases in the world over the last 30 days are the Omicron Variant. About 63% of the world's countries, call it 2 out of every 3 nations, have 40% or more of their populations vaccinated. How does it feel employees that knelt before power to receive your shots and keep your job, when the people refusing the shots now have their jobs back again? United succeeds in creating disgruntled employees that lost wages over the vaccine mandate garbage while, simultaneously destroying moral with the rank and file that licked the boss's shoes and got vaccinated. Screw people and they will screw you back. It is likely productivity will falter at United and 'incidents' may occur in the months ahead. Let's see. If a worker was screwed out of, say, $10K or $20K in wages, he will think over the coming months and years how to screw the airline back an equal amount. An eye for an eye. Whoopsies daisies. Sorry Frankie, I dropped the wrench in the engine we were testing. That is going to cost a lot to fix. I'll be more careful next time. And all is back to even again. When you lead and manage people, you should treat them with sincere respect, not like pets. The consequences for jackass management can be catastrophic. Other companies are hiring back their unvaccinated workers so the tension, jealousy and backstabbing will increase in company offices and on shop floors in America. Hey Jealousy. Since they have the address in the computer, they must have hit go and the tests flew out the door on Tuesday to arrive Thursday morning; only 48 hours from the time the test was ordered on the internet. That is impressive. People that need COVID-19 tests can actually receive them in a timely manner from covidtests.gov where they then can immediately seek medical treatments such as the Glaxo monoclonal antibodies or Pfizer Paxlovid pills. EARLY TREATMENT is the key to treating COVID-19. The US is finally starting to get its act together with the pandemic as it evolves into the endemic stage. The quick shipment of covid tests and the new US county community transmission map are notable accomplishments for the Whitehouse and CDC and they deserve credit. The first batch of free COVID-19 tests ordered in January took one month to deliver and the second batch ordered Tuesday took only 2 days.
Note Added Thursday Afternoon, 3/10/22, at 1:00 PM EST: The CDC and federal officials decide to extend the mask requirement for public transportation (planes, trains, busses, transit hubs, etc..) until 4/18/22. The mask requirement for public transportation was set to expire next Friday, 3/18/22, and the CDC hinted that it was going to wait until nearly the last day before making a decision but the verdict is in. Americans will likely take it in stride since it is only another month. There would be mutiny if it was any longer. Wintertime remains in play in many states so the masks are not as much of a burden. Airline travelers will moan but if the mask mandate disappears on 4/18/22, Americans can live with this situation. Over 98% of the United States is in the low or medium transmission areas where masks are not required according to the new CDC COVID-19 community transmission map. The US map is becoming engulfed in the beautiful green color. The US is set up for a pleasant springtime but there is no reason for glee when Russian Dictator Putin, that has gone mad, is murdering women and children each day. Russian mothers are asking the government why they do not hear from their young sons that went into Ukraine. Deep down, they know the reason. They're dead. Putin misjudged Ukraine so now he will try to level the country a la Syria, unless someone levels him first.

The convoy has taken in $1.7 million in donations and some are wondering where the money is going. The republican tribe is more involved with the convoy now that it has reached Washington, DC, and there are more Trump flags on display. It is too bad that the convoy started out as an anti mandate demonstration, a protest against government tyranny and a fight for liberty and freedom, but is now morphing into a republican campaign rally. Lots of folks that support the convoy want nothing to do with King Donnie, the orange-headed bloviating carnival clown, so the movement may be splitting in different directions. Trump refused to stop the 1/6/21 Capitol Hill riot and instead let Americans hurt and maim one another which forever disqualifies the narcissistic authoritarian from sitting in the Oval Office again. The Peoples Convoy may be at a loss to figure out its next move or event. The US Congress passes a $1.5 trillion spending bill but the COCID-19 funding was pulled to get the bill to pass. House democrat Majority Speaker Pelosi says a new bill will handle future covid spending.

The 7-day MA for daily new cases ramps higher to 346 cases per day. The behavior hints that a parabolic omicron wave spike may be in the offing. If China's manufacturing and shipping are slowed because of infections, the worldwide inflation problem will be exacerbated (higher prices for goods and services). That is a lot of souls (Seoul's). It is equivalent to the entire population of Cleveland, Ohio, or New Orleans, Louisiana, becoming sick with covid every single day in South Korea! The election period with rallies and parties must have spread a lot of the omicron bug throughout South Korea. 206 South Koreans die from China Flu yesterday. Cases remain stubbornly high in New Zealand. Singapore is also having trouble shaking free of the virus. Iceland's daily cases may have peaked on Monday. Laos reports 335 cases the most in a month and requires monitoring. Myanmar continues recovering.
Note Added Friday Morning, 3/11/22, at 6:00 AM EST: The US reports 38K cases with the 7-day MA at 37K cases per day. The slope of the downtrend is becoming more gradual but that is okay. All that matters is that it is going down. The 3-day MA for US daily new cases keeps printing lower lows and lower highs a beautiful sight maintaining the downside trend. 1,247 Americans bite the dust yesterday from COVID-19. The 7-day MA trend line continues lower at 1,106 US deaths per day. The deaths remain too high. Maybe some folks are stubborn old people that do not want to see a doctor until they are driven away in an ambulance? Perhaps there remains shortages of the GlaxoSmithKline mAb treatments and Pfizer Paxlovid pills where rationing continues? These life-saving early treatments were only given to older folks and people with underlying health conditions while some young folks are left to fend for themselves ending up in a casket. Others wait too long to seek treatment missing the within-10-day window. People blindly cheer four shots of a new mRNA vaccine that is not really a vaccine in the true sense of the word. The CDC and other medical cohorts had to change the definition of a vaccine since the covid shots do not prevent the recipient from being infected or transmitting the virus. Many parents got their kids sick and blamed the unvaccinated folks when it was their own maskless jet set life that brought the bug home to the children and poor ole 87 year old Uncle Johnny. The concept of a fourth 'vaccine' shot is humorous. Is it a vaccine when you end up needing 15 shots? The 'COVID-19 multiple inoculation series' is better described as a 'death prevention shot regimen' rather than a vaccine. It probably will not be long before the drug pushers announce the booster-booster-booster fifth shot. The China Flu news is minimal these days with Russia's war against Ukraine sucking all the oxygen out of the room. Deltacron is mentioned by several news sources again. This is the combination of the Delta adn Omicron Variants. There is no indication that this strain poses any danger. It likely has more to do with journalists looking for something to write about since the pandemic news is winding down.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 3/12/22, at 6:00 AM EST: The world reports 1.7 million new cases a hair lower than the day before so the bump higher is likely due to the trouble remaining in Southeast Asia which should improve in the days ahead sans China. South Korea report 328K daily new cases an obscene number but at least it is a hair lower than the prior day's 342K record peak in daily cases. 229 South Koreans die yesterday the deadliest day ever. Vietnam reports over 169K daily new cases another record high. At least the deaths are remaining in check at about 84 Vietnamese dying from China Virus each day. Malaysia reports nearly 33K daily new cases and does not appear willing to do what it takes to tamp down the omicron menace. Thailand reports 25K cases teasing the record highs again and like Malaysia, is not doing enough to stop the spread. Laos reports 415 cases the most in a month. Hong Kong appears past the omicron peak for daily new cases but reports 294 deaths the deadliest day of the pandemic. China's cases continue higher with the 7-day MA at 383 cases per day potentially going exponential. China's active China Virus cases exceed 5,000. Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and New Zealand are having difficulty beating back their omicron waves perhaps in part due to junk vaccines? The nations are making slow progress. South Korea, Vietnam and China are the current covid Hell holes on Earth. The US and world receive lots of goods from these three nations so inflation is exacerbated.
Note Added Saturday Morning, 3/12/22, at 7:00 AM EST: The United States crosses the 993K deaths grim milestone less than 7K from 1 million dead. About 1K Americans die from COVID-19 each day. The US reports 39K daily new cases a nice low number for a Friday when big numbers are expected. The 7-day MA is down to 36K cases per day.
Note Added Saturday Afternoon, 3/12/22: Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, a lightweight, faces a big decision come Monday morning. The vaccine mandate deadline for Chicago's firefighters, police and city workers is tomorrow, 3/13/22, and many have not complied. About 87% are vaccinated and about 12% are not. Union and other officials are asking Lightfoot to rescind the mandate. The virus is in the rearview mirror so she needs to let everyone get on with life but will she, or will she choose to be an idiot and control freak extending the draconian mandate?
Note Added Saturday Evening, 3/12/22: Several studies are reporting sad news for children that are the victims of the lockdowns and mask requirements over the last 2 years. One-third of children are missing their expected reading levels as compared to all the children on track before the pandemic and lockdowns. Early reading skills are at a 20-year low which is depressing. Remote learning is difficult for young kids. One of the greatest gifts a parent can give a child is teaching them to be a proficient reader. Even if you loathe reading yourself, unless it is a menu or a childish comment from a friend on Facebook, you should cheer reading and even pretend you like to read for your kid's sake, otherwise, they will end up like you. The studies also reveal that black, Latino, low-income, disabled, and the kids not fluent in English, fell the farthest behind during the pandemic, draconian lockdowns and mask mandates. Educators opine about the need to make up for a lot of lost ground but they are a big cause of the problem. Lazy educators wanted to stay at home teaching kids remotely while eating bonbons. Some teachers near retirement wanted an easy glide path from their home computer into the fishing boat. Conversely, the fantastic noble teachers wanted to return to classrooms to be with the kids they love, but the teachers unions, that have the democrat tribe under their thumb, said no (the teachers unions fund democrat election campaigns in America's crony capitalism system). Children are far more resilient than anyone realizes. You only understand this fact if you had a traumatic and difficult childhood. The kids will be fine. They simply need to get back into the routine and be around their friends; and reading more.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 3/13/22, at 6:00 AM EST: China's daily new cases climb higher to nearly 600 cases yesterday and the 7-day MA ramps higher at 427 cases per day. There are 5.5 million active China Flu cases in China. Hong Kong's daily cases peak on 3/3/22 so the fast-moving omicron wave progresses through the now-communist region. Nearly 300 Hong Kong folks continue dying each day and one wonders how many (dissidents) are getting popped in the head by the CCP. Vietnam's misery continues with cases remaining at record levels and total cases crossing the 5.9 million mark a tragic milestone. Malaysia is like Vietnam unable to shake off omicron. Cases remain stubbornly high and active cases continue higher. South Korea remains a horrible mess reporting 384K infections yesterday the highest ever and 269 deaths the deadliest day ever. Keystone looks back fondly at the Blue House and the Namsan Tower but visiting covid-infected Seoul is not on the current travel docket. Thailand remains a mess. Southeast Asia is having a difficult time at defeating omicron compared to other parts of the world. Is it due in part to China's junk vaccines? New Zealand continues reporting elevated cases and crosses the 100 total deaths grim milestone. It is a small death tally compared to nearly 1 million dead Americans but tell that to the grieving families. No one wants to lose a loved one but it is the circle of life.
Note Added Sunday Morning, 3/13/22, at 7:00 AM EST: Today is Daylight Saving Time so the clocks spring forward one hour. The US is at 994K dead from China Virus and 6K more will make 1 million dead bodies. The casket makers and undertakers dance under the moonlight. At the 1K deaths per day pace, the 6K will be reached in about 6 or 7 days, so the 1 million mark is likely on tap by next weekend. The US reports only 12K daily new cases yesterday and the 7-day MA is down to 33K cases per day not seen since last July. Today's cases should be below 12K maybe single digits. Last November, Lord Fauci proclaimed throughout the land that America would "get back to a degree of normality" if cases fell below 10K per day. Well, doc, we are almost there. The 10,000 magic number has been touted many times by Fauci over the last year. 10K cases have not been seen since March 2020 at the start of the pandemic. This is great stuff and good news. If we are below 10K cases today, the magic number, Fauci will probably move the goalposts to 5K.
Note Added Sunday Afternoon, 3/13/22: Former President Obama tests positive for COVID-19. He is resting comfortably and says he only has a "scratchy throat." His wife Michelle tests negative. The Obama's are triple-vaccinated and encourage everyone to take the mRNA shots. A lot of good it did them (as the peanut gallery yells out that the shots prevent dying). In southwest Pennsylvania, like many other places around the United States, and in agreement with the CDC county transmission map, no one is wearing a mask. If you walk into a store, everyone is maskless getting on with life. This is the first time that many go maskless in public in 2 years; some will feel naked. The US vaccination rate falls below 200K shots per day. Lots of Americans are blowing off the booster shots figuring the pandemic is over. Such talk is considered blasphemy at the CDC and Whitehouse. The CDC reports only 17,471 COVID-19 hospitalizations on 3/11/22; last Friday. There will be less today. The numbers are happy time and optimistic going forward but the US deaths at 1K souls per day are a dark cloud. People that test positive need to get those Paxlovid pills, or the Glaxo mAb injections, as fast as possible so they do not die but most people still do not know what is going on. Older vaccinated people are shocked when they test positive because their expectation of what a vaccine does and what is happening are two different things. The older folks are old school and figure the shots protect them. Many folks wonder what king of vaccine still allows you to get sick and transmit the disease? The answer is a vaccine that falls under the new modified definition of a vaccine that was conveniently changed to accommodate the mRNA vaccines. As mentioned many times, the multiple shot series is better described as a 'COVID-19 death prevention multi-inoculation protocol' rather than a vaccine, and it does not even protect against death 100%. Keystone lost a vaccinated friend in his 80's a month ago. The shots did not do anything for him. Perhaps he had a false sense of security circulating maskless in public while performing volunteer work. He was a wiry old school codger and figured the so-called vaccine shots protected him when in actuality, he was only covering himself with a loin cloth sporting a Pfizer logo.
Note Added Monday Morning, 3/14/22, at 5:00 AM EST: Oh no. China's daily cases jump to 1.9K as the omicron wave begins to go parabolic. In the days ahead, the effectiveness of the Chinese vaccines Sinovac and Sinopharm will be on full display. China reports that cases exceed 3,300 on Saturday so it may take a couple days for the data to register. The communists lie about everything and of course they are lying about their coronavirus numbers. Lockdowns are imposed on the Chinese population in selected cities and locations. The important tech hub of Shenzen (shen-gen) with nearly 18 million citizens is locked down until 3/20/22. Folks are told to stay home and will be subject to three COVID-19 tests. Busses and the subway are shut down. The global economy will be hurt and inflation exacerbated as port traffic out of China slows. Production is halted at Apple facilities and its manufacturer/assembler Foxconn. China's Jilin Province north of the Korean Peninsula is also locked down. South Korea is a covid Hell hole and perhaps the virus is spreading via the port cities, as usual, where Korean goods move through the southern edge of Russia into the Julin Province. It makes you wonder about North Korea and if the hermit kingdom is besieged by omicron. North Korea tin-pot Dictator Kim Jong-un probably will not mind if a chunk of the population is culled by COVID-19 since that is less mouths to feed in a land of scarce food. Infections are increasing in Shanghai and Beijing, China. The Shanghai Tower, China's second tallest building, is locked down. The zero-covid strategy in China is falling apart. Hong Kong cases continue dropping from the peak but deaths remain elevated at about 300 dead bodies per day. Hong Kong is at the 4K total deaths grim milestone. Over 300K people are in lockdown in Hong Kong. The metrics for reporting cases has changed which may account for the drop in cases. Hong Kong is now a filthy communist city and the commies lie. Hopefully, the common Chinese folks, that have no choice but to live under the CCP rule, will weather the omicron storm without too many deaths. South Korea reports 350K daily cases an obscene number but at least it is lower than the heinous 384K cases the day before. Vietnam reports 167K daily new cases but at least it is less than the 179K cases peak on Friday. New Zealand reports 19K daily new cases an elevated number but off the record days at 24K cases on 3/2/22 and 3/8/22, a Wednesday and Tuesday, respectively. Thus, if New Zealand can get through the next couple days into Thursday with cases remaining below 24K, the top is likely in for daily cases. The New Caledonia islands that are north of New Zealand in the Coral Sea, are on the mend after cycling through an omicron wave over the last month. New Caledonia was infected from interaction with New Zealand and Australia. Vanuatu, islands north of New Caledonia, are at the peak of their omicron wave with small numbers. Further out in the ocean, Tonga is dealing with an outbreak but Fiji is okay.
Note Added Monday Morning, 3/14/22, at 6:00 AM EST: Oh no. Germany goes to pot. The contagious BA2 Omicron Subvariant accounts for one-half the cases in Germany. The daily cases spike higher to the 250K to 300K range the last few days at record highs. Cases were declining for a month in the Deutschland then whammo, Germany is smacked hard with a jump in cases over the last week. In addition, 200 Germans are dying per day on average with the rate rising. Denmark was the poster child for BA2 and it is okay currently with cases way down. Netherlands experiences a small spike higher in cases over the last couple weeks but not near the record highs. This must be their BA2 sister wave. Belgium reports a small rise in cases over the last couple days which may indicate a small BA2 spike on the come. The pandemic keeps throwing curve balls at the Earth. Norway and Sweden are okay although Finland has an ongoing struggle at tamping down COVID-19 cases. Denmark and the UK were the focus of the original BA2 Omicron Subvariant news a month ago. It makes sense that the disease spreads from Denmark south into Germany and the Netherlands and now perhaps Belgium, by land and along the coastal ports. France shows a tiny uptick in cases, no biggie as yet, but it is likely going to see a mini BA2 spike in cases. UK cases are spiking higher over the last week so it must be the BA2 wave raising its ugly head again. There is a situation in Europe with the BA2 Omicron Subvariant that spreads out from Denmark into Germany, Netherlands and UK. Belgium and France are hinting that their cases will rise in the coming days as well probably due to BA2. The China Virus party never ends.
Note Added Monday Morning, 3/14/22, at 7:00 AM EST: In the US, it remains happy time with daily cases dropping to 30K cases per day on average. US deaths are sub 1K at 977 deaths per day comparing back to the November lows 4 months ago. If deaths can drop below 920 souls per day, that will compare back to the August lows and obviously point to better times ahead. People that test positive need the Paxlovid pills or Glaxo mAb infusion pronto to save lives and push the death rate way lower.
