Coronavirus (COVID-19) New and Active Cases Charts; AMERICA BLEW IT AGAIN!; US Fails to Flatten the Active Cases Bell Curve Chart; Highest Active Cases Ever; New Cases Highest Since August

by K E Stone (Keystone)

America blew it again. Coronavirus (COVID-19) is unleashed again. The United States has been in the process of finally flattening the active cases curve and rolling it over to the downside to create the bell shape and verify that the virus is defeated. The top of the bell curve, where it flattens, represents the maximum strain and stress on the healthcare workers, medics, caregivers and medical equipment. This is why you want to flatten and roll the curve over to the downside so the healthcare folks can catch a break.

There will be no more rest time. In fact, the sirens and alarms are sounding. Healthcare workers are probably already being told not to make holiday plans and to return to the hospital; STAT! It is likely going to become very ugly going forward. We blew it again.

The big mistake was in late May early June. America had a chance to defeat the first wave of the virus like all other nations. The US only had to hang with the strict lockdown measures another couple weeks, through Memorial Day, and the orange dotted line would have occurred and the year would have had a much better outcome emotionally, mentally and financially for all citizens. Instead, impatient Americans that want everything now, led by an impatient President Trump, decided to party on Memorial Day. Beaches reopened and people, starved for that human touch so necessary for a happy life, embraced one another with hugs and kisses that unfortunately sent the active cases curve higher.

Fast forward to September when the US gets a second bite at the flatten the curve apple. Things were looking good the last five weeks until yesterday. Remember, in the last coronavirus chronology Article 21 published on 10/4/20, Keystone told you to watch out for the 10/9/20 data. The new cases data spikes occur on Fridays likely due to the way the numbers are reported. The new cases yesterday are 60,558 not seen since the 61,313 cases on 8/14/20 two months ago. The 7-day moving average of new cases is jumping higher moving in the wrong direction. The US is dipping into serious virus trouble again. The active cases are 2,611,530 on 10/9/20, yesterday, taking out the prior high in active cases at 2,601,235 on 9/1/20.

The active cases curve is now on the move higher again. May the Lord Have Mercy on Our Souls. Time to crawl back into the bunker. Beat the holiday rush and stock up now on your toilet paper, water, canned goods, food rations, zinc, butter, ammo, gas masks, survival magazines, camo clothes and pit helmets.

Of course with nearly 219,000 Americans dead from covid, it is not a laughing matter. The coronavirus pandemic is on the increase again when the northern hemisphere is also going into the Fall and winter flu season. The virus and economy are intertwined. The economy cannot thrive when the virus is spreading but the minute things subside, such as the active cases curve flattening above, and the economy and schools are allowed to reopen, the virus spread increases again. Will this seesaw battle continue for the Western nations for the next couple years? China's Wuhan Virus bioweapon creates tragedy, death and disaster around the world and the communists should be held responsibility for their crimes against humanity. Good luck to everyone.

The next real-time chronological update of the coronavirus (COVID-19) saga, Article 22, is slated for publication this week. When the virus mess is finally settled, Keystone will likely gather all the articles from the start of the year to the end and publish them via Amazon in one big book. Let's just hope there is an end to covid.

Note Added Sunday, 10//11/20: Humorously, albeit tragically, President Trump proclaims, "It (COVID-19) is going to disappear, it is disappearing." He's delusional. As explained above and laid out in the prior coronavirus articles in the ongoing COVID-19 series by K E Stone, the active cases curve is now blowing-out higher and the new cases are at two-month highs and increasing. The coronavirus pandemic situation will likely become worse each day into the election a far cry from disappearing. In a couple weeks or so right before the election, when coronavirus is obviously not disappearing, Donnie will say he was just being optimistic but he is actually just blowing smoke up your butt.
