11 countries out of the 200 on Mother Earth are the main
COVID-19 hotspots perpetuating the never-ending pandemic. This motley crew
includes China (including Hong Kong), Japan, South Korea, Australia, Taiwan
(improving), Brazil, Peru, France, Italy, Germany (cases are flat) and the
United States. These pandemic losers account for over 90% of the China Virus cases
occurring on the planet each day. Isn’t that something? Only 11 countries. If
you want to throw rocks, throw them at these guys.
Interestingly, for the most part, these are nations that
imposed lockdowns (so folks did not develop natural immunity), are the
so-called vaccine experts (US and Germany), are countries that bought into the
vaccine-only narrative (ignoring useful treatments like HCQ and ivermectin and
not promoting a healthy lifestyle including taking vitamins such as D-3 and
supplements such as zinc and turmeric), and nations that forced masks on the
public (that studies show have only a marginal benefit at best since people do
not use proper masks, they wear masks incorrectly like on the chin with nose
exposed, they continue to sneeze, cough, spit, pick their noses and eat while
wearing masks, and the masks also hurt mental, educational and emotional
development in youngsters).
Humorously, from the standpoint of dark pandemic comedy, the
third-world and underdeveloped countries in the world are in good shape in the
fight against COVID-19 reporting minimal infections these days. The poor
nations with the low vaccination rates due to unavailability of vaccine and vaccine
hesitancy, only relying on local remedies and mass distribution of HCQ and
ivermectin, are in better shape with the pandemic than the developed nations
that are the bigshots with vaccines. That’s funny.
During 2021, South Korea was hailed as the gold standard in
COVID-19 protocol with an excellent testing, tracking and tracing program; it
is now in shambles. Ditto China with dirtbag Dictator Xi proclaiming that
communism was superior to all other government systems because of the great
handling of covid in 2020 and 2021.
The mainland is now in chaos with the zero-covid strategy
shelved due to social unrest and riots and worries that the worst is about to
occur in China. The pandemic has provided a treasure trove of fantastic information
that can be applied to future pandemics but only if people are willing to place
their egos and political activism aside and learn from the many mistakes and
missteps.
The world is in COVID-19 infection wave 10 and the United
States is in wave 8 of the never-ending pandemic. Let’s start with the world
charts.
The world’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The world
reports 354K daily new cases for Sunday and the 7-day MA is rolling over to
473K cases per day great news but the downtrend must sustain itself. Japan is a
covid nightmare so once its cases subside, as well as China, South Korea and
France, the world’s numbers should improve quickly.
The world’s daily new deaths chart is shown above. The 7-day
MA for the world’s deaths is at 1.3K souls per day a terrible number that
should be lower 3 years into the pandemic. China Virus is culling the elderly
from planet Earth. Perhaps some nations facing aging demographic problems in
their societies, such as communist China, or maybe Japan, are turning a blind
eye as the bodies are wheeled past their windows to the crematoriums.
Japan’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The ongoing
infection wave is a lingering nightmare with the 7-day MA for daily cases going
parabolic at 124K cases per day. Each day, 1 in every 1,000 Japanese citizens
are getting sick with covid.
Japan’s active COVID-19 cases have exploded higher to 5.2
million. Over 4%, or 1 in every 24 Japanese, are under care for covid
currently. Obviously, every Japanese family has someone in the house or knows
of a close relative testing positive for COVID-19.
The BQ1 variant is starting to take over the BA5 variant in
Japan. XBB is also at play. Officials say the vaccines are less effective
against the BQ1 variant due its many spike protein mutations. Medical experts
say the severity of sickness is about the same for both BQ1 and BA5. BA5 is
waning worldwide so the top omicron variant troublemakers are XBB, BQ1 and
BQ11.
190 Japanese die from China Virus on Sunday and the 7-day MA
is parabolic at 200 bodies per day. Urn makers are working overtime (most
Japanese are cremated). It is a sad state of affairs after dealing with the
China Virus pandemic for the last 3 years. No relief in sight. The old folks
are dropping like flies. The Japanese are yelling, “Covid! Covid! Covid!” now
instead of “Tora! Tora! Tora!”
On the bright side, the prior Japanese death waves are
sharply-peaked so the same would be expected for the current infection wave. As
dark as things are for our friends in Japan, the picture can improve quickly. 1
in 7 daily covid deaths on the planet are on the island of Japan. Since Japan
is such a covid disaster zone right now, when the nation does improve with
cases and deaths, the world’s numbers will come down in sync.
South Korea’s daily new cases chart is shown above another
big disappointment over the last month. The 7-day MA for South Korea’s daily
new cases is at 60K cases per day and rising. Terrible news. South Korea’s
covid death rate is flat for the last 3 weeks at about 50 bodies per day
another lousy number.
New Zealand’s daily new cases chart is shown above. Where’s
Prime Minister Ardern? Sleeping? No, she is busy insulting members of
parliament with offensive language. Pretty Jacinda has a potty mouth. New
Zealand’s ongoing infection wave will not relent at 5.7K cases per day the most
COVID-19 cases in 4 months and it is spring into summer down there not winter.
Like Biden in the States, Ardern spends time and taxpayer money on the
misguided climate change follies instead of handling the pandemic.
Brazil’s daily new cases chart is shown above. The 7-day MA
for Brazil’s daily cases is up to 32K cases per day and rising. The daily new
cases trail off the last couple days so there is hope that the infection wave
will flatten and roll over in short order. The peak day is 47K cases on 12/7/22
so the cases for 12/14/22, that will be known on Friday morning, will tell the
tale for Brazil (they need to come in under 47K and the lower the better).
France’s daily new cases chart is shown above a terrible
development over the last month. Where’s President Macron? Sleeping? Central
Europe (France, Italy, Germany) cannot extricate itself from the covid
quagmire. France’s 7-day MA for daily cases is over 62K cases per day and
rising now above the prior infection wave that peaked in October.
The FIFA World Cup football (American soccer) matches
continue with France trying to repeat as champion. Thus, the cafes are
overflowing with fans and merry makers drinking wine, eating baguette and
smoking cigarettes. The comingling, shouting, yelling, spitting, and hugging
while viewing the football games at watch parties, lead to more infections.
The good news is that the COVID-19 death rate in France is
not moving higher remaining below 100 covid dead bodies per day. The omicron
bugs are spreading in France but not creating more deaths. That’s good.
The peak day for France is 106K cases on 12/6/22 so the
12/13/22 cases, today, are key. There is a 2-day data lag so the 12/13/22 cases
will be known on Thursday morning, 12/15/22. Those daily cases need to remain
below 106K as well as each day during the week, to call the top in the
infection wave for France.
France’s new infection wave is dominated by BQ11, which is
also causing infections in the States, taking over from the BA5 variant. BQ11
appears to be more contagious than BA5 but not more deadly.
The US daily new cases chart is shown above. US wave 8 is a
nub, or nipple, or pimple, or bump, or zit, or whatever you want to call that tiny
lump. It is short and sweet the quickest wave of all 8 and mainly due to the infections
from the Thanksgiving holiday comingling. Perhaps the COVID-19 herd immunity in
the United States is a strong force to be respected.
The Whitehouse, CDC, and anyone pretending they are doctors
wearing white lab coats, are promoting the COVID-19 booster shots proclaiming
their effectiveness against the current BA5, BQ11 and BQ1 variants since all
are part of the omicron family.
That is great news so it also follows along that anyone that
contracted COVID-19 over the last year (when the omicron bugs started) should
have natural immunity from the current strains that also provides some level of
protection. This combination of vaccination and natural immunities in the US
may be the herd immunity driving force creating the small wave 8 bump instead
of allowing a more substantive infection wave such as France. Time will tell.
The US reports only 17K daily new cases for 12/11/22 but Sunday’s
are always the lowest cases for the week. The US wave 8 peaked at 73K cases on
12/2/22, and then at 65K cases on 12/7/22. This downtrend needs to continue and
the 12/14/22 cases are key and need to remain below 65K as well as each day
forward to prove that wave 8 is only a little bump and the downside in cases will
resume.
The 7-day MA for US daily cases is down to 36K cases per day
moving lower. Wave 8 is starting to look like a Thanksgiving holiday
superspreader bump, a minor inconsequential blip, that found some remaining
host bodies among the vast herd immunity (vaccinations plus natural immunity) now
in play. Is the herd immunity enough to claim victory against the 3-year
pandemic or is it Never Enough as Patty sings?
The US active cases chart is shown above. It was
disappointing that the active cases resolved their 1.3 to 1.4 million cases
sideways range to the upside 3 weeks ago. The US active cases run higher to 1.7
million so lots of folks showed up at hospitals or called into their doctor’s
offices for treatment after the Thanksgiving Day and weekend holiday but unfortunately,
it was Grandma Carlita, Grandpa Luther and Uncle Walking Bear that got sick. COVID-19
is a ‘pandemic of the elderly’.
The US active cases run higher to 1.72 million cases on
12/7/22 peaking 13 days after Thanksgiving Day and 10 days after the Sunday big
travel day 11/27/22. The positive news is that the active cases peaked a week
ago (12/7/14 if it holds) and are now at 1.65 million active cases. If the
active cases continue that little curl downward and form the coveted bell
shape, wave 8 will be done and dusted.
The US daily new deaths chart is shown above testimony to
Sleepy Joe Biden’s incompetence and mismanagement of the pandemic just like King
Trump. It is shameful and an utter disgrace for the mighty United States to not
be able to reduce the COVID-19 death count over the last year. 1-1/2 times more
Americans are dead from covid under Biden’s watch versus Trump.
186 Americans continue dying from COVID-19 each day and this
number needs to get down to the 120 to 180 range to become comparable to flu
deaths. China Virus is a pandemic of the elderly.
New York State’s daily new cases chart is shown above and
its pattern matches the US daily charts pattern; a small bump for wave 8. Many
other states also display the same pattern. COVID-19 infections pop higher fast
but then subside fast as well. There just may not be that many host bodies
available anymore. Most Americans are either vaccinated or had covid.
New York’s daily new covid cases are higher than any other
state for months which hints that the cases may be overreported. Nonetheless,
the 7-day MA for New York’s daily new cases is rolling over to the downside at
6.3K cases per day. Hopefully, the retreat will continue and covid will
Surrender, as Cheap Trick sings in Studio B.
California’s daily new cases chart is shown above same
dealio as New York. The mini-bump wave 8 is a little pimple of cases that are
popped quickly. California’s 7-day MA of daily cases collapses from 11.0K cases
per day down to 5.5K cases per day in quick order. The bell shape is forming to
verify that wave 8 is yesterday’s news but this week needs to play out.
Texas displays the same chart behavior as New York and
California. However, Biden’s southern border crisis worsens each day and may
lead to more coronavirus infections in Texas, Arizona, California and New
Mexico.
US hospital admissions for COVID-19 spike higher after
Thanksgiving but are already curling over to the downside. This is good news
especially since the CDC data is always a week behind (things are likely better
in real-time). The hospital admissions are rolling over for the elderly great
news. Less old folks in the hospitals means less old folks die.
US COVID-19 hospitalizations are flat at 30K but again, the
data is a week stale. Admissions are curling over so hospitalizations typically
follow with a 3 to 4-day lag.
The CDC Community Transmission map is a disappointment with
91% of the map green (low risk of infection) and yellow (medium-risk) and 9%
orange (high-risk). A month ago, only 3% of the US counties were at high risk. The
orange needs to turn to yellow so the endemic phase can begin.
Note the big orange blotch on Navajo Nation in northwestern
New Mexico, northeastern Arizona, southeastern Utah and southwestern Colorado.
Hey *ssholes in charge, you can go out and help Navajo Nation any time you’re
ready. Southern California and Arizona are orange so Biden’s southern border
crisis, which is starting to worsen considerably, may be at fault for the rise
in infections.
The US vaccination rate has fallen off a cliff and all you
can do is play “Taps.” The US vax rate is at 250K shots per day continuing
lower. Since infections popped after Thanksgiving, you would think Americans
may be more open and enthusiastic about the new covid boosters but no, only
crickets can be heard.
Americans have moved on in life and be it right or wrong,
many figure that even if they get COVID-19 now, it will be mild, and Paxlovid
is available, and the BQ11 variant may be more contagious than BA5 but they are
both omicron lineages which makes vaccines and natural immunity a protective
force, and the new variants are not more lethal. People aren’t dumb. They’re
smart and have common sense unlike the eggheads making the rules. Time to live
life again.
The USA has the greatest number of total coronavirus cases
in the world at 101.4 million. India is next with 44.7 million total virus
cases. France, Germany, Brazil, South Korea, Japan, Italy, UK, Russia, Turkey, Spain,
Vietnam, Australia, Argentina, Netherlands, Taiwan, Iran, Mexico, Indonesia,
Poland and Colombia round out the top 22 worst nations for total COVID-19 cases.
COVID-19 has infected 6554.5 million people worldwide. China
(the CCP) owes reparations to the world for its sick heinous crime against
humanity. 6.66 million people on Earth are dead from the China Flu a grim and
Satanic statistic (triple 6’s). 629.7 million global citizens have recovered
from the virus.
96.2% (629.7/654.5) of the people that become infected with COVID-19
recover in a reasonable time frame. The percentage remains steady for many
months. Worldwide, 1.0% (6.66/654.5) of the people that are infected with covid
die; 1 in 98 (hit the 1/x button on your calculator). This number has not
changed for 2 years.
8.5% (654.5/7670) of the world’s population of 7.67 billion
people have been infected with coronavirus; 1 in every 12 people on earth. 0.09%
of the world’s population (6.66/7670) died from the pandemic so far; 1 in every
1,162 people on earth died from China Virus over the last couple years.
The latest census data shows that the world has crossed the
8 billion population milestone but the Coronavirus Chronology will continue
using the 7.67 billion number for calculations to remain consistent. With a

hopefully, by Article 100 if US wave 8 and the world’s wave 10 cooperate.
In the United States, 101.4 million people have been
infected with covid. 1.11 million Americans are dead. 98.6 million Americans have
recovered from coronavirus. This equates to 97.2% (98.6/101.4) of US citizens recovering
after becoming infected with COVID-19. Those are good odds. Most of the
COVID-19 deaths are old or fat people and heaven help you if you are old and
fat. COVID-19 is a pandemic of the elderly.
In the US, 1.1% (1.11/101.4) of the people infected with COVID-19
die. 1 in every 91 US citizens that are infected with coronavirus die. 0.34% (1/330)
of Americans have died from COVID-19 which is 1 in every 297 Americans over the
last 34 months.
30.7% (101.4/330) of the American population of 330 million
people have been infected with covid. That is almost at 1 in every 3 Americans.
The latest data and commentaries estimate about 80% of the US population has
been infected with COVID-19 over the last 34 months (many positive tests and
illnesses are not reported and some people did not know they had covid).
The United States has 15.5% (101.4/654.5) of the COVID-19
cases in the world. 2 in every 13 people that become infected with covid on the
planet are Americans. The US vaccination program made an impact month’s ago,
but not so much in recent months.
The US accounts for 16.66% (1.11/6.66) of the China Flu
deaths in the world. 1 in 6 people that die from COVID-19 around the world are
Americans. A couple years ago, it was 1 in 5 so vaccinations helped.

China remains in covid trouble. COVID-19 infections in China are jumping higher after the relaxation of the zero-covid lockdowns and restrictions. Employees are missing work after testing positive for covid. Financial trading houses are at extremely low trading volumes with one-half the workforces off with COVID-19. The China Virus is ripping through the mainland. The days ahead are key.
The worst covid hotspots (China (including Hong Kong),
Japan, South Korea, Brazil, France, US) display a peak in daily new cases for
their current infection waves on 12/6/22 or 12/7/22 so the cases on 12/13/22
and 12/14/22, to be known on 12/15/22 and 12/16/22, respectively, will tell the
covid tale for the world going forward. The news should be encouraging.
The United States is not on the bad country list since the
active cases may be on their way lower as discussed above. Another 13 countries
are on the watch list for a potential pop in covid cases including Russia,
Israel (the vaccine experts that experience infection waves like everyone
else), Philippines, South Africa, Eswatini, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania,
Austria, Croatia, Venezuela, Paraguay and Uruguay. Even if the cases pop for
any of these nations, the bumps may be short-lived.
The United States bad state list below has expanded now that
the Thanksgiving Day infections are adding up. The next few days will dictate
the path ahead for America into 2023 and the picture is more encouraging than
people realize.
The Navajo Nation outbreak continues as well as infections
with migrants crossing the southern border so California, Arizona, New Mexico
and Texas remain challenged.

which means infections are increasing, people are seeking medical care and the
situation is worsening. New Mexico and Arizona were the only 2 states on the
list 3 weeks ago and there were 15 states 10 days ago now there are 37 states.
The key takeaway is that the bump higher in cases remains
small and manageable and not worrisome. Wave 8 may resolve quickly.

The United States is experiencing a bump higher in cases after Thanksgiving and wave 8 is clearly underway but potentially diminishing. 37 states are on the naughty list above.
13 states are already viewing wave 8 as no biggie. Missouri
is fine for now with active cases dropping. Ditto Michigan, Tennessee,
Minnesota, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Maine,
Alaska, Wyoming and Vermont.
Many states are delaying their case reporting by a few days
which throws a wrench (spanner) into the analysis. Some states have gone to
weekly reporting so the data is becoming messy. When the COVID-19 picture is
not pleasant and a new infection wave is underway, some states conveniently
fall behind on their data reporting hoping no one will notice. Such are corrupt
humans.
The positive side is that US wave 8 is nothing to get
concerned about, so far. Many states on the bad list already show active cases
curves flat and wanting to roll over hinting that wave 8 is a pig in a poke. Over
the next week, one-half or more of the states may be removed from the bad list
as their active cases curve once again commit to the downside. You do not want
to jinx things, but the doom and gloom espoused on the news about the new infection
wave 8 is not warranted, so far.
America’s herd immunity is tested and it appears that a
passing grade will occur rather than a failure but this week has to play out.
The daily cases are needed through Friday so the verdict on US wave 8 can be
rendered.
The Coronavirus Chronology is using 8 metrics to assess the
pandemic to endemic transition. (1) The world’s daily new cases should be below
360K per day to claim endemic status and cases are now at 473K per day. (2) The
world’s daily new deaths should be below 1.3K per day and they are 1.3K so this
is a win, barely, for the endemic phase.
(3) For the United States to be in the endemic phase, the
daily new cases should be below or around 10K cases per day and are now at 36K
per day. (4) US active cases should be below 730K cases (at least below 1
million) now at 1.6 million. (5) The US COVID-19 death rate should be below 180
bodies per day now at about 186 souls per day.
(6) To declare the endemic phase in America, US
hospitalizations should drop below 10K patients and are now at 30K jumping
higher after Thanksgiving. (7) The CDC Community Transmission map should turn
completely green and yellow to usher in the endemic phase and 91% of US
counties meet these criteria with 9% remaining in the high-risk orange zone.
The map has deteriorated over the last month.
(8) Lastly, the public needs to accept that the pandemic is
over and this is already in the endemic column since most Americans have
resumed their normal lives and ignore the COVID-19 news.
There is a lot more work to do to declare the endemic phase.
Only 2 of the guidelines are in the endemic phase, being generous with the 1.3K
death rate, and 6 remain in the pandemic phase. There is no progress over the
last month in fact the US and world are losing ground in the pandemic to
endemic fight. Like any battle, however, there are fits and starts and the
world can make better strides to the endemic phase once wave 10 for the world
is put to bed.
As per the CDC’s variant proportions data, BA5 is down to 12%
of the new COVID-19 cases in the US. BQ11 is at 37% edging out BQ1 at 31%. BQ11
is the variant that gains against the others.
Taking the BQ’s together account for 68%, two-thirds, or 2
of every 3, or 7 out of 10, new covid cases in the United States. At the
Thanksgiving Day dinner, a golden-brown roasted turkey was served along with
mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and a side of BQ11.
Just a little slice, though, I’m watching my covid.
BF7 is at 6% of the cases holding steady. XBB is 5% flexing
its muscles on American shores. BQ11, BQ1 and XBB are the three variants that
require a hairy eyeball going forward.
After all that is known about COVID-19 and the vaccines, the
Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, shames itself in refusing
to provide a kidney transplant to a 14-year old girl because she is not
vaccinated for COVID-19. Isn’t it sickening the medical people feel a need to
torment a child and her family over nonsense? The story is receiving a lot of
media attention and no doubt negative publicity for Duke.
Medical doctors and scientists have blown their credibility over
the last 3 years with their many mistakes, misinformation and even
disinformation, and more so their lack of taking responsibility for their bad
calls. Why not just give the young lady a COVID-19 test, or even series of
tests, and if she does not have covid, go for it. People in positions of authority
are control freaks on power trips these days.
An anti-vax documentary, “Died Suddenly,” is receiving lots
of social media attention. The film discusses the increased occurrence of blood
clots witnessed by embalmers in the bodies they were preparing since the
COVID-19 vaccines started. Of course, the pro-vaccine folks are livid
discrediting the film and saying there is no firm link between the covid
vaccines and blood clots.
The truth is no one knows for sure, yet. Let a couple years
pass and if there is a noticeable increase in heart attacks, strokes and/or blood
clot-connected ailments during that time period, you will know it is due to the
covid vaccines. If not, the mRNA vaccines can be deemed safe.
This just in from communist China via Bloomberg. The CCP
delays important policy meetings due to the COVID-19 pandemic and rampant infections
occurring in Beijing. Dirtbag Dictator Xi was planning to attend the meetings
that humorously, were supposed to plot a new course for handling the pandemic. The
meeting to discuss how to control the pandemic is cancelled because the pandemic
is spiraling out of control.
Hong Kong, China, relaxes covid restrictions and allows
foreign travelers to enter the communist city easier but infections are rising.
Insider news media reports that canned peaches are flying off the shelves in
China as a rumor circulates that eating peaches is a great remedy for COVID-19.
Chinese medical officials are trying to dispel the rumor but every shelf is
empty of peaches.
Back in the States, the release of the Twitter Files
continues. Billionaire Elon Musk purchased social media site Twitter and
uncovers numerous documents and emails showing collusion and conspiratorial
activity among the Twitter executives and employees, the Whitehouse, FBI, DHS, DNI,
CDC, NIH and the democrat media (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, NPR, New York
Times, Washington Post, etc…) to stifle any voices that disagreed with their
political and COVID-19 narratives. It is a disgrace.
The Coronavirus Chronology is a victim of the First
Amendment abuse and censorship because powerful people do not want to read the
truth and unbiased facts about the pandemic. Instead, they want their version
of the truth to be told be it dirtbag democrat spew or filthy republican sputum.
The Twitter Files are being released piecemeal and next at
bat are documents pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic and Dr Fauci. Perhaps
they will be called the Fauci Files. The Twitter information will likely implicate
public health officials and Whitehouse people so Biden is nervous about what
information comes out over the coming days.
This worry is validated by the incompetent twit spokeswoman
Karine Jean-Pierre, the black lesbian with three first names that is
unqualified for her job, that is preemptively saying anyone reporting on the
Twitter information is likely a violent person (to discredit them and paint
them in a bad light). What childish games.
Some of the folks involved in the suppression of free speech
will have to lawyer-up since they may end up doing jail time due to their spitting
on the First Amendment. The Twitter Files will reveal more about what Fauci was
doing behind the scenes during the pandemic. America needs to know.
Musk teased the upcoming release of Fauci information while
mocking the woke pronoun stuff. Musk proclaims, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci.”
Musk says things to draw attention to himself and in this case Twitter receiving
free publicity, and it always works. Of course, sensitive people take issue
with his comment immediately placing the back of their hand to their forehead
and complaining of a case of the vapors.
People fire back at Musk accusing him of insensitivity to
the LBGTQ+ community. Musk was ready and comes out firing both barrels, “I
strongly disagree. Forcing your pronouns upon other when they didn’t ask, and implicitly
ostracizing those who don’t, is neither good nor kind to anyone. As for Fauci,
he lied to Congress and funded gain-of-function research that killed millions
of people. Not awesome imo (in my opinion).”
Get your popcorn ready for the Fauci Twitter Files folks. As
beautiful Betty said decades ago, “Fasten your seatbelts, it’s going to be abumpy night.”
The endemic phase remains elusive. The pandemic should improve
going forward but China remains a wildcard. In the US, after Thanksgiving,
everyone feared the worst but wave 8 may already be calling it quits. Perhaps a
pending outbreak in China may not be as bad as feared. The problem with communist
China, however, is that their vaccines are junk and the population has not built
up substantive natural immunity due to the draconian lockdowns.
Nonetheless, Keystone remains optimistic that the pandemic will
transition into the endemic phase in the not-too-distant future just like Clark
Griswold remaining optimistic in Christmas Vacation. If the world’s wave 10 and
the US wave 8 cooperate over the next few days, the COVID-19 picture can improve
quickly.

Note Added 7:30 PM EST: Florida republican Governor DeSantis announces investigations into any wrongdoing in the state concerning COVID-19 vaccines. DeSantis declares, "In Florida, it is against the law to mislead and to misrepresent, particularly when you're talking about the efficacy of a drug." DeSantis, a likely candidate for president on the republican ticket, says the CDC is "serving to advance narratives rather than do evidence-based medicine." He vows to investigate the side effects of vaccines such as myocarditis. Florida is not recommending the use of covid vaccines on children going against the CDC recommendations. DeSantis feels the parents should make those decisions.
Note Added 8:00 PM EST: The Twitter Files exposing Fauci and the gang are not available yet but Fauci is already trying to discredit any future documents from Twitter calling it a "cesspool of misinformation." Fauci says he does not pay attention to Elon Musk or Twitter as he pays attention to Musk and Twitter. Canadian filmmaker James Cameron, promoting the new Avatar movie, tests positive for COVID-19. Comedian George Lopez tests positive for COVID-19 so he has to cancel an appearance to announce the 2023 Golden Globe Nominees. Lopez is isolating at home and takes to Instagram posting, "And the Covid goes to-o-o ..... George Lopez!"
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 12/14/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The CCP reverses its decision to postpone the important covid and economic meetings in Beijing. Dirtbag Dictator Xi must think that cancelling the meetings due to the covid outbreak in Beijing, that are supposed to plan the path ahead for handling covid, makes him look weak. A dictator can never look weak because it will lead to a loss in power. As Hong Kong turns full-blown communist after the takeover by the mainland, shortage of all products, especially pharmaceuticals, are glaring at the stores. Note Added Wednesday Morning, 12/14/22, at 4:30 AM EST: The world reports 316K cases for Monday a welcome sight and the 7-day MA is at 469K cases per day starting to roll over lower. Perhaps good news is ahead this week on the covid front. 1,262 earthlings are dying from China Virus each day below the 1.3K that moves the world towards the endemic phase. Japan reports 63K cases for Monday and the 7-day MA remains parabolic at 129K cases per day the highest for the current infection wave. The thing about parabolic (going straight vertical) moves in charts is that they resolve to the downside just as fast; ask any commodities trader. Japan reports 5.4 million active covid cases another record high. Japan's COVID-19 death rate remains parabolic at 205 bodies per day. Japan shielded its population from the rest of the world during the pandemic and, like China, did not build up natural immunity. The countries that imposed lockdowns during the pandemic, thinking that was the best decision to handle the virus, such as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and China, are paying the price for not having widespread natural immunity. The third-world and underdeveloped nations are in good shape with minimal COVID-19 cases since the virus flushed through entire populations and they likely have high levels of natural immunity. The omicron family of variants have been in play for over a year so anyone that has had covid during this period is probably enjoying protection from the latest variants. Germany reports 54K cases for Monday the most in over a month but they may be lumping in weekend numbers. The data around the world is becoming messy as the pandemic lingers on and earthlings want to move on with life.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 12/14/22, at 5:00 AM EST: The US reports 24K daily new cases for Monday a good number. The 7-day MA is at 35K cases per day so the Wave 8 pimple may be a short-lived. The Thanksgiving holiday superspreader event is burning itself out quickly. Go herd immunity! There are 1.666 million active COVID-19 cases in America (trip 6's) off the 1.7 million high days ago so the direction lower is encouraging. The US data shows that everyone had fun Thanksgiving Day and through the 4-day holiday weekend but days after the turkey leftovers were gone, Grandma and Grandpa tested positive for COVID-19. The Christmas/Hannukah/Kwanzaa/Boxing Day/New Years celebrations are coming fast so it will be interesting to first see how the wave 8 bump resolves over the coming days, and then watch to see if early January brings a new wave 9 nub. COVID-19 is becoming endemic and the best gift for everyone this holiday season will be covid transitioning into the endemic phase in 2023 with the pandemic finally in the rearview mirror.
Note Added Wednesday Morning, 12/14/22, at 11:00 AM EST: The medical journal Cell publishes a study on the most prevalent variants right now BQ1, BQ11, XBB and the paper also calls out a XBB1 variant. There are over 200 variants in play around the world but nearly all of the bugs will amount to nothing. The study says the new booster shots and other treatments such as monoclonal antibodies are only minimally effective against the variants and there is concern that these BQ and XBB bugs have an advantage in evading antibodies. Judging by the Thanksgiving holiday mini superspreader event that produces the bump in cases forming US wave 8, the worries are unwarranted. Wave 8 may be a pig in a poke. The United States is hanging in there fine right now and in the following days we may come to realize that America's herd immunity is holding the line against the pandemic. Note Added Wednesday Afternoon, 12/14/22: Bloomberg and others report that the Whitehouse plans to announce tomorrow a program allowing Americans to order free at-home COVID-19 tests. Why? Where is the money coming from? Fleecing the taxpayers again? Wave 8 is turning out to be a pimple on Uncle Sam's posterior. Why all the fear and doom and gloom? No wonder people have lost confidence in the medical folks; they never seem sure of themselves but they want everyone to shut-up and do whatever they say. Good luck with that. Is Fauci giving this advice? Isn't he retired yet? The Fauci stink lingers like the pandemic. Fauci appears on CNN (democrat-run media) and reacts to the pending Twitter Files and Governor DeSantis's new investigations that may further implicate Fauci in legal and ethical trouble. Fauci claims, "The Commonwealth Fund has come out with a report just this last week that vaccinations that have been administered over this period of time, this last year-and -a-half to two years, have saved 3.2 million lives, 18 million hospitalizations and approximately $1 trillion dollars in costs, so what's the problem with vaccines?" Who is the Commonwealth Fund? Are those fantasyland numbers pulled out of thin air, or his butt? Fauci declares that "vaccines are unequivocally life-saving." Not according to the Cell study above. Fauci is telling Americans that without his brilliance, there would not be 1.1 million COVID-19 deaths in America but 4.3 million 4 times the actual covid deaths. Well isn't that a fine how do you do? Who made up that number? The Commonwealth Fund is a liberal thinktank and within the first few sentences of its mission statement is spouting the 'equity' jazz so obviously they are going to make-up lofty numbers for China Virus deaths because they lean left. By inflating the death number, people like Fauci can then tell you how great they are because only 1.1 million caskets are in the ground. Isn't the corrupt crony capitalism sickening to its core? America is led by compromised souls; it has become a rudderless ship. 4 or 5 million covid deaths in America is an unrealistic estimation. Before reading any information, always find out who wrote it so you know what the political slant will be either democrat, liberal, left-leaning, Fauci, lockdown, mask, vaccine, mandates, etc..., or, republican, conservative, right-leaning, anti-lockdown, anti-mandate, people choose to wear masks and take vaccines, etc... Choose your poison.
Note Added Wednesday Evening, 12/14/22: World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, try to fit that on a business card, is hopeful that the pandemic will lose its standing as a global emergency (endemic) some time next year. The chronology is using the 8 criteria at the end of the article above to gauge the transition from pandemic to the endemic phase but for now its image remains on a milk carton (missing) and it keeps spending time with Godot (never arriving). It will be a great day when Keystone and the Coronavirus Chronology announces the endemic phase, which may be coming sooner than people expect (January, February, March?), and an even better day when Dr Tedros decrees the end of the pandemic. The holidays are at hand which may create another bump in infections in early January, perhaps a wave 9 in the States, but like wave 8 so far, it may just be a little nub or nipple if it occurs. If the US continues righting the ship over the coming days, the Whitehouse should send out free imprinted tee shirts that say "Herd Immunity Rules!" instead of the free covid tests. Note Added Thursday Morning, 12/15/22, at 4:00 AM EST: The world reports 615K daily new cases for Tuesday a higher number getting into the meat of the week. It is a positive that the 615K cases remains below last week's highs and especially below the 650K cases peak on 12/6/22. The 7-day MA for the world's cases is at 483K cases per day. Oh no. This sucks. Japan reports an astounding 176K daily new cases a horrific number the highest since August now starting to test the worst days of the tragic infection wave during July and August this year. Terrible news for Japan. What is going on there? The XBB and BQ variants are running wild in a population that has little natural immunity. Japan's active COVID-19 cases are approaching 6 million. Tragically, Japan's China Virus death rate remains parabolic now at 210 bodies per day. The news is horrible for Japan, especially since the elderly continue dropping like flies, but their loss paints a better picture for the world since 176K of the 615K cases for Tuesday, 30%, are in Japan; almost 1 in 3 new covid cases worldwide are on the island of Japan. Damn. This day turns to garbage with South Korea reporting 87K cases for Tuesday the most in 3 months. Since today is going to Hell in a covid handbag on the world front, why not Brazil that reports 55K cases the most for the new infection wave comparing back to July. Peru reports 15K cases matching the other highs during the infection wave. Let's keep going with the doom and gloom. Bolivia reports 1.6K daily new cases the most since August. Ay caramba! Chile was the first nation to get hit with a new infection wave in South America that ran up for 5 weeks then down for 5 weeks so perhaps that pattern will repeat for Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, and others. Brazil is in that first 5-week peak zone now so it will be interesting to see if the bad 55K number may actually represent a peak in daily cases going forward.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 12/15/22, at 5:00 AM EST: France reports 93K cases another terrible covid number for the world but there is a silver lining. The peak for France's infection wave is 106K cases on 12/6/22 so one week hence the cases are 93K. It is lousy news that the cases remain elevated but a big positive that France has likely topped-out with daily new cases. Italy keeps playing games delaying their data. Germany reports 48K cases for Tuesday with the 7-day MA at 30K cases per day with an upward bias. Hong Kong, China, reports 15K cases per day for a few days running the most in 9 months. It follows along that the outbreak across China must be in bad shape but the world will remain in the dark since the CCP hides what is happening and the state-run media tells lies to the world. Over 86% of the COVID-19 cases in the world, and it is likely well over 90% if the true numbers in China are known, are occurring in China (including Hong Kong), Japan, South Korea, Brazil, France, Italy, Germany and the United States. It is remarkable that the lingering covid stink in the world over the last month are these same countries that were the so-called experts at handling the pandemic with their fancy covid testing and tracking models, new mRNA vaccines and other treatments, and forced mask-wearing and lockdowns. Where did that get them? Humorously, the developed nations would have been better off to follow the underdeveloped country's COVID-19 methodologies (since their case counts are minimal these days) which included mass distribution of HCQ and ivermectin. That's funny.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 12/15/22, at 6:00 AM EST: The US reports 45K daily new cases for Tuesday a bit elevated but we will not complain. The 7-day MA is at 47K cases per day continuing to adjust as the wave 8 bump, or pimple, is sorted out. US active covid cases sneak higher again above 1.7 million cases; not good. The active cases curve must roll over to form the coveted bell shape to signal that wave 8 is officially over and it is not there yet. 270 Americans continue dying from COVID-19 each day. The Whitehouse has done nothing to reduce the covid death rate in America this year. It is a shameful disgrace and testimony to the mismanagement and incompetence in handling the pandemic. Sleepy Joe Biden keeps sleeping dreaming of glorified golf carts (EV's), solar cells and windmills. Obviously, his priorities are way out of whack. Electric cars with a limited range that do not work in power outages or natural disasters and lose power in extreme heat and cold, solar cells installed on a leaky roof that may never recoup their cost, and windmills that kill eagles and other birds, are more important than human life? Such is the United States in 2022, almost 2023.
Note Added Thursday Morning, 12/15/22, at 7:00 AM EST: The Whitehouse releases an official statement offering four free covid tests per household from the covidtests.gov website. The free program was halted in September due to lack of funding from Congress but the Biden administration says they are using "existing" money to fund the free (the covid tests are not free since you, the sucka taxpayer, are paying for them) covid tests. If Sleepy Joe shifted money to pay for the tests, where was the money taken from and what program/s are now underfunded and suffering because he wants to be Santa Claus Biden with free tests? The Whitehouse may be wanting to unload the covid tests before the expiration date (if they committed to buying set amounts from the manufacturers) occurs and the tests are tossed in the garbage. The tests will begin shipping next week. Keystone already ordered the free tests so that will take care of four people on the Christmas gift list; one gift-wrapped covid test for each.
Note Added Thursday Afternoon, 12/15/22: A report released by House republicans on the origins of COVID-19 states that coronavirus may be tied to China's bioweapons research programs. The committee states that the CCP bears responsibility for the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. The report says there is no evidence available to determine if the pathogen was released accidentally or intentionally. The world deserves to know the origin of COVID-19. China needs to come clean but dirtbag Dictator Xi and his CCP henchmen are filthy communists that will continue lying. China will deny that COVID-19 came from their Wuhan Labs forever because they do not want to pay the world reparations. After the pandemic smoke clears, the world will have to find a way to sanction China for its heinous deed against humanity. At the same time, the NIH and NIAID, Dr's Collins and Fauci, respectively, need investigated to get to the bottom of the gain of function scandal to see how that fits into the sick pandemic story. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
Note Added Thursday Evening, 12/15/22: Whitehouse COVID-19 coordinator Dr Jha says the Biden administration is working closely with nursing homes to increase the booster vaccinations. Less than 50% of the nursing home residents in America have received the omicron booster. Nursing homes have been asking Biden and the gang to allow their staffs to administer vaccinations for the last 2 months and Sleepy Joe finally agrees. This is one of the reasons the US covid death rate remains high. About 15% of the total US COVID-19 deaths are nursing home residents. COVID-19 is a pandemic of the elderly. Jha says the lackluster uptake in booster shots and infected people not receiving Paxlovid are keeping the death rate high. No sh*t, Sherlock. That's your job as well as the Biden administration, CDC, NIH and FDA! Everyone is sleeping on the job but patting one another on the back decreeing what a great job they are doing. This is what happens years after you give all children trophies even when they lose. It breeds incompetence, laziness, stupidity and never taking responsibility.

China's covid data is all over the map. The communists are no longer counting asymptomatic cases (did they ever?). Chinese officials say 1 million people may die as the virus ripples through the population. This is an interesting number because in the States the other day, the Fauch proclaimed that 4 or 5 million Americans would have died during the pandemic but he saved the day with his brilliance that results in only 1.1 million dead. China, with 1.4 billion people, says about 1 million may die from covid, but Dr Fauci wants everyone to believe his bull sh*t, with numbers provided by a liberal thinktank, that the United States, with 330 million people, one-fifth the population of China, could have seen 4 or 5 million dead. Fauci is trying to paint himself in a hero light before the republican-controlled House begins its investigations into Fauci (NIAID) and Collins (NIH) in 3 weeks. The China covid drama will have to play out over the coming days to gauge the progress of the shift from the zero-covid strategy. News reports say infections are increasing in China but the data does not show that as yet but the communists are playing games with the data.

The covid infections in South and Central America bump higher. France is averaging 60K daily new cases per day but the positive aspect is that the 7-day MA takes the first tick to the downside from 62K cases per day. France may have peaked-out with daily cases last week but let's allow this week to finish-up to know for sure. Asia remains the covid hotspot in the world. Europe should improve. If the Thursday and Friday cases come in below 62K, that will set up a happy week for America next week. US active covid cases are over 1.8 million the most since early October so folks are not feeling well and seeking medical attention. Note Added Friday Afternoon, 12/16/22: The CDC is hyping the Fall booster shots citing studies that show the vaccine is effective against COVID-19. That is dandy news but which variants? The booster shots are more effective on the past variants rather than XBB and the BQ's but the CDC is doing their job encouraging people to take the shots. The US vaccination rate is pitiful at 250K to 300K shots per day. Only one-third of Americans over 65 years old have taken the booster shot. Novavax stock, NVAX, collapses -33% this week after the UK reduces its vaccine order. NVAX has crashed -97% over the last 2 years. Funny how the deaths landed smack-dab on 3.5K even, isn't it, and not 3,487? Almost as if it is a number pulled from thin air. The logical first step for any study on long-covid is to agree on a definition of long-covid. A few months ago, medical officials said the people having symptoms for 3 months or more are considered long-covid patients. Is this true? Is it the correct metric? How come no one stricken with the Big C will say, "yes, Aunt Harriet, I have long-cancer." You either have cancer or you don't (in remission). Three months is a very short time period (unless you are the person with the symptoms) and may not be the best measuring stick for long-covid. The study was a bunch of eggheads looking at death certificate data from January 2020 to June 2022 (waves 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 since 7a deaths would not be in the data as yet) for key words such as "chronic covid," or "long-covid," or "post-acute sequelae SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC)" so the task is very subjective. Doctors like to use the ten-dollar college word "sequelae" a lot since it makes them sound smart. As previously stated in the chronology, be watchful for a potential rise in heart attacks in the US over the next year or two. Hopefully, this does not happen but if there is a noticeable rise in heart attacks and heart-related ailments, the reason will be the COVID-19 vaccines. The authorities and institutions in America have become untrustworthy, especially during the pandemic, so studies that blame long-covid for deaths may be setting up a convenient excuse for the future on which to blame the rise in heart issues. For example, someone will discover that a 20% increase in heart attacks is occurring in Potemkin Village over the last year and suggest it may be due to the covid vaccines and myocarditis issues. The good news is the flu infections may have peaked. Whitehouse COVID-19 coordinator Dr Jha appears on the "ThisMorningABC" news show (democrat media). Jha says COVID-19 cases are increasing and Americans need to receive their updated booster vaccine. Jha proclaims, "The updated vaccine is essential for keeping people out of the hospital." Only 14% of eligible Americans have received the new booster and only one-third of the eligible folks over 65 years old. Jha says people are "confused" about taking the new booster shot but it has been his job the last few months to not make them confused. Dr Jha proclaims that the path ahead for the covid pandemic is a "shared collective responsibility." This sounds like the guy that says "I" when there is credit to claim but then says "we" if there is a problem. Biden has failed miserably at reducing America's COVID-19 mortality rate this year. The only people cheering Sleepy Joe's incompetence are the funeral directors and casket makers. KFF polling says most vaccinated Americans are not getting their booster shots for two main reasons; first, they do not think they need the booster shot and second, they do not think the benefit is worth it. The 7-day MA drops to 42K cases per day with the 30's on the come. US active cases are back below 1.8 million moving lower for the last few days off the peak at 1.825 million active covid cases. Arizona and New Mexico have peaked-out with daily new cases great news since it means the outbreak in Navajo Nation is in the rearview mirror no thanks to the Biden administration. The Whitehouse never mentioned Navajo Nation one time over the last month. Sleepy Joe has misguided priorities spending his time on the climate change follies instead of saving American lives. When does this pandemic garbage end? China and Hong Kong are a covid mess. Chinese folks are buying-up lemons believing they will help combat and cure covid. Any fruits with vitamin C are being grabbed-up by folks trying to boost their immune systems. The Chinese folks deserve better than dirtbag Xi and the corrupt CCP. At the least, the Chinese government (CCP) should be mass distributing vitamins C and D-3, also zinc, turmeric, HCQ and ivermectin. You go to war against covid with the tools you have not the ones you wish you had. Dictator Xi does not allow Western COVID-19 vaccines to be used because he believes it will make him look submissive besides, the scumbag likely wants some of the elderly population culled anyway. A dictator must always display power not weakness. China is receiving international criticism concerning their phony COVID-19 data especially the death rate. Xi and the commies do not care; they will keep lying. Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand remain under covid duress. In Thailand, King Maha Vajiralongkorn, 70 years old and does not look a day over 90, tests positive for Covid as well as his lovely Queen Suthida, 44 years old. They are in isolation with minor symptoms. From a man's perspective, what great luck it would be to be sick with covid and isolating with Queen Suthida. Brazil and Bolivia are worsening. Peru may be peaking-out with cases and that can be confirmed in a couple days. Russia's daily new cases keep sneaking incrementally higher over the last couple weeks.

The Thanksgiving Day and 4-day holiday weekend is a mini-superspreader creating wave 8 that is now dissipating. America's herd immunity is holding. Illinois is wresting with an increase in cases and that is apparent with Chicago Mayor Lightfoot testing positive for covid a few days ago and now Representative Carol Ammons tests positive. Ammons is vaccinated and boosted like a pincushion but unfortunately says she is symptomatic. Good luck to her. The 7-day MA for US daily cases is down to 37K cases per day and dropping; let's get it down into the 20's. It is almost guaranteed that the United States will have a wave 9 during the first half of January due to new infections during the holidays to end the year but only a minor baby bump in cases is expected like wave 8. The potential wave 9 should be the same or less than wave 8 since many folks are interacting with the same people from Thanksgiving. The US is looking good going forward but the pandemic is not over until it is over everywhere and the troubled nations above cannot yet beat back the covid monster.

Brazil's covid troubles continue at 40K cases per day. Bolivia's infection wave worsens at 2.1K cases per day. Peru is likely peaking with daily new cases. Italy's active cases bell-curve chart is rolling over so it will likely be taken off the bad country list. France is almost there as well but disappointingly, Germany reports 55K cases for Monday the most in 6 weeks. The 7-day MA for Germany's daily new cases is at 32K cases per day running sideways with an upward bias. Nothing can stop the men in lederhosen chasing the pretty girls in dirndl dresses. COVID-19 takes advantage of the human attractions that lead to interactions. About 190 countries in the world are tapping their fingers on the table impatiently waiting for the handful of remaining countries above to get their act together and stop the pandemic.

The 7-day MA trendline is dropping below the lows from October and November more good news showing that wave 8 is rolling over and dying. US active cases are flatlining and starting to roll over to hopefully form the bell shape and prove wave 8 is toast. Wave 8 will end just in time for another little pimple bump in cases to begin after the Hannukah/Christmas/Kwanzaa/Boxing Day/Festivus/New Year's holidays. America looks good going forward even though a mini wave 9 will likely appear and diminish quickly in January. Wave 8 is a nothing-burger.

The cases for Wednesday, today and tomorrow remain important and need to remain below 650K each day to confirm that the pandemic is headed in the right direction again hopefully to extinction. The 7-day MA is at 509K cases per day flatlining and curling over to the downside; good news. 1,460 earthlings die on Tuesday but the COVID-19 death rate will improve as wave 10 subsides. The WHO also encourages China to conduct studies as the virus rips through the population. Shanghai hospitals and pharmacies are overrun with Chinese folks unable to receive care. Schools are closed. Cities are ghost towns. Limits are placed on public transportation. The China Virus monster, like Frankenstein, returns to the place from which it was spawned seeking vengeance for its existence.

Day after day, 1 in 3 daily new COVID-19 cases worldwide are occurring on the island of Japan. The Japanese authorities are taking advantage of the pandemic, like communist China, to cure their aging demographics problems. Sonny and Girly, the world is not a pretty place. The peak for Japan's infection wave is 191K cases on 12/14/22 so yesterday's cases, to be known tomorrow morning, will dictate the fate of Japan. It is a bad omen to see the 186K cases but as long as the cases remain below 191K for each day this week, Japan will have peaked with daily new cases last week. This can be confirmed in less than 24 hours. 250 Japanese are dying from covid each day on average a terrible number. Oh no. This is sickening. South Korea reports 88K daily new cases the most for the current infection wave and not seen in 3 months. One-half of the new covid cases in the world, 1 in every 2 new infections, are occurring in Japan and South Korea. The Asian diet is the best in the world at providing nutrients, vitamins and minerals that maintain the human body's immune system. It was thought during the first couple years of the pandemic that the Asian diet was helping those nations weather the China Virus storm better, and the data proved this to be the case, but over the last year the story flips, and there was likely too much credit given to the Asian diet in respect to fighting-off coronavirus. China (including Hong Kong), Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand shielded their populations during the last 3 years and now they are paying the pandemic piper.

France is on the mend and should begin improving at a quicker pace. 178 French die on Monday the most since February and April. Humorously, from a dark humor perspective, the developed nations would have been better off following the third-world country's methods of handling the pandemic. The nations employing fancy vaccines, medical care and pandemic protocols to 'control the spread' of coronavirus remain drowning in the covid soup while the underdeveloped nations everyone was worried about are doing fine. Illinois remains challenged with its infection wave worsening at 3.5K cases per day. Damn. Alabama's daily cases spike to 1.7K on Tuesday the most in 3 months. Mississippi is in the same boat with cases rising but small numbers at about 600 infections per day. Infections are rising in North Carolina at 2.4K per day. Each state is working through their post-Thanksgiving holiday bump in infections.

Exercise directly correlates to reducing weight and the people most negatively impacted by the virus are those that are overweight and obese. The study proves the stupidity of the medical officials and politicians recommending the closure of gyms and parks during the pandemic. It was a stupid idea especially when the bars and striptease joints were open. Welcome to the new America. The Fauci stink continues to linger. When is this guy leaving? Japan is unable to stop the spread so the end will occur when it ripples through the population. Japan's infection wave started in mid-October now running sharply higher for 2 months. This infection rate averages out to 13 million cases per day. Do you believe the new commie lies? The health commission says one day this month the cases tagged 37 million. If this big number has already occurred, then China's infection wave is peaking and diminishing but that is not the case. On face value, China is likely still underestimating the cases. The communists say nothing about the covid death rate as the bodies stack up at crematoriums and funeral parlors. Note Added Friday Morning, 12/23/22, at 10:00 AM EST: Taiwan was improving October and November with the daily cases way down, however, disappointingly, a new infection wave is underway with 19K cases reported for Wednesday; terrible news. No doubt that infections from mainland China and Hong Kong are making Taiwan sick again. Australia's daily new cases are finally flatlining at 15K per day. Cases have to move sideways before they roll over lower. New Zealand remains challenged. Brazil and Bolivia continue struggling with their new infection waves. On the positive side, France and Italy will be removed from the bad country list as their active cases start rolling over to the downside to form the coveted bell shape. Germany is trying to flatten its daily new cases at 33K per day. It is the same countries that cannot shake the covid monkey off their backs.
Note Added Friday Morning, 12/23/22, at 11:00 AM EST: The United States is getting hit with a winter storm and cold temperatures through Christmas Day. 25 states are hit with power outages. The electricity was lost here in southwestern Pennsylvania, USA, this morning, after the first posts, but it is now back on line. It ain't a fit night for man or beast. The US reports 63K cases for Wednesday an elevated number but hump day's have been large data days so we will take it and move on. The 7-day MA for US cases is at 55K cases per day. Virginia reports a big 2.7K daily new cases for Wednesday the most of the current infection wave. Virginia is where the Washington, DC, politicians, lobbyists and lawyers live so their hot air is infecting each other. Illinois reports 5.2K cases for hump day an elevated number. The wave 8 bump occurs due to Thanksgiving but unfortunately, the cases are becoming buoyant again probably from the fun times, community comingling and Christmas parties this month. The peak day last week is 70K cases on Thursday, 12/15/22 (minor revisions bump the numbers higher). America needs the daily cases to remain below 70K for yesterday and today to guarantee that the 7-day MA will move lower. The 63K number for Wednesday is a worrisome omen. Hannukah is in full swing starting last Monday and will create new infections. Christmas is Sunday and Kwanzaa and Boxing Day Monday. Another bump in infections is expected. It may be dubbed wave 9 as 2022 ends and January begins but seeing how daily new cases may hesitate at moving lower right now, the wave patterns may be dubbed 8a and 8b. That decision can be delayed until the impact of the new holiday infections are assessed over the next couple weeks. If the United States can get into mid-January and discover that the holiday infections are no biggie, it may be time to pound the final nail in the pandemic coffin while wheeling the endemic bassinet into the family room.
