Billionaire Elon Musk, of SpaceX and Tesla fame, hosts SNL (Saturday Night Live), the comedy show that runs from 11:30 PM EST to 1:00 AM EST in the United States; late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Celebrities, musicians, actors and other bigshots serve as a guest host each week and participate in sketch comedy. Musk sticks his neck out, venturing out of his comfort zone, so good on him, but the not-too-funny sketches and jerky motions and staccato speech will clearly tell him to not quit his day job.
Musk senses a panned performance so he tries to preempt the criticism asking for sympathy due to Asperger's. It must be an odd type of Asperger's that instead of showing symptoms such as being highly focused and detailed, and spending long periods of times working with numbers, statistics and data, typically in seclusion, Musk's Asperger's affliction makes him seek attention by tweeting stupid stuff and sometimes making nonsensical outlandish claims without data. Go figure.
The host provides an opening monologue after the band plays an intro and Musk brings his Mom on stage so everyone cheers. She asks what he is getting her for Mother's Day and she says, "I hope it's not dogecoin." Musk replies, "Yes, it is." She rolls her eyes. Dogecoin tumbles from 0.70 (the drop begins shortly before the show aired and continues). During the show, Musk calls dogecoin a hustle (scam) and repeats the meme for the coin, "to the moon!" It is a game for Musk; he is making fun of every sucker that owns the digital coin, and then he is not.
Dogecoin drops to 0.48 a -31.4% crash within one hour. The Robinhood trading platform cannot keep up with the order flow. Too bad for those idiots that bot at 0.70; they lost one-third of their capital in a heartbeat on Musk's comments. Musk likes to make comments that move markets. It must be a power thing and the SEC and other regulators do not appear to care. Whoopsies daisies. Dogecoin slips to 0.438 on Sunday morning with a low a few minutes ago at 0.4195. Note Added Monday Morning, 5/10/21, at 5:00 AM EST: Musk pulls a Trump doubling-down on any naysayers or detractors proclaiming that dogecoin will be the first cryptocurrency in space. Musk (SpaceX) says he will fund a space payload, such as a satellite, with dogecoin. The idiot should have committed to that last week since he would have gotten 30% more satellite for his money. That is funny. The SpaceX employees begin working on a Monday morning seeing their program turn into a dogecoin space joke. Musk wants to place the first crypto meme in space. Have fun all. Dogecoin is at 0.52 far off the 0.70 before SNL. TSLA (Tesla) is off -1% in pre-market trading. It's fun watching the idiots play. Whoopsies daisies. Dogecoin slips to 0.51.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 5/11/21, at 2:00 AM EST: TSLA stock collapses -6.4% and is down another -3.5% in late/early trading for a -10% crash after the SNL billionaire play date. Dogecoin falls through the initial 0.47-0.48 support to 0.45 and now bounces back to test the 0.47-0.48 resistance. The 0.45 now becomes support for dogecoin and if that fails, it is likely headed to a reckoning. Dogecoin bulls need the cybercurrency to jump above the 0.48 resistance to prove that it has potential legs to move up to test the 0.70 resistance again some day. Musk's panned performance leads to the drops in Tesla and dogecoin. Humorously, perhaps Musk should have taken some acting lessons before tackling SNL.
Note Added Tuesday Morning, 5/11/21, at 8:35 AM EST: TSLA stock crashes -8% pre-market so that is down -15% after the SNL play date. Musk plays some more baby games, instead of running his car company, tweeting; "Do you want Tesla to accept Doge?" He was likely watching dogecoin receive the spankdown from the 0.47-0.48 resistance, dropping to 0.46, heading lower to test the bounce or die level at 0.45, and King Elon had to step in with his Twitter. Musk and Trump display a lot of similarities. After the tweet about buying Tesla's with dogecoin, the cybercurrency jumps up through the 0.48 resistance to 0.52 and Musk saves the day. Well, not so fast. Dogecoin rolls over, going limp, back down to test the now 0.47-0.48 support. Dogecoin is fighting for its life. If 0.47 fails, watch 0.45. If that fails, dogecoin is likely in a lot of trouble. Quick, buy that satellite for SpaceX, Musk, before it costs you three times as much of the dog coins. Tesla sales are dropping in China. The communists are going in for the kill on Tesla in China as they did with all other industries starting with the American textile industry in the 1970's and 1980's. And Musk is tweeting.
