RUT Russell 2000 Small Caps Daily Chart; New All-Time Record Closing High

For the seven major indexes SPX, INDU (or DJI), COMPQ, NDX, RUT, NYA and TRAN, five of the seven print all-time highs and six of the seven print all-time closing highs. The S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrials, Nasdaq Composite, Nazzy 100 and the NYSE Composite each print both new all-time intraday and closing highs. The Russell 2000 small caps, as seen in the chart above, print a new all-time closing high at 1388.84 but not a new all-time high. The all-time high at 1392.71 from 12/9/16, two months ago, remains king of the hill. Watch this number closely on Monday.

TRAN has not yet printed new all-time highs.
