GTX Commodities 2-Minute Chart Flash Crash and Recovery
The GTX Goldman Sachs Commodity Index performs a flash crash and quick recovery yesterday. Main stream media and traders ignore the event since these flash events are becoming more and more common. At 1:34 PM EST, the GTX flash crashes from 5039 to 4718, 321 points, -6.4%, then flat lines sideways for one-half hour, then flash spikes higher back to 5039 at 2:06 PM, moving sideways into the commodities close.
